Everything is perfect about this “new” spot in Homewood. The owner, Sugar, and her mom, dad, and staff are all fun, nice, and quick to help/serve. The food is delicious and the beer is cold. They seem to have everything to drink too so I prefer this over another place I like with just beer and wine. Really the only issue I can think of, which is a big issue, is that they won’t let me just sleep on the floor at night and permanently live there.

Amazing atmosphere with classy cocktails and a wonderfully executed menu. 10/10 will be back. The service was exceptional, our table never needed for anything. Ask for Kristen 🙂

Pleasantly surprised that they carry the Saw's Cheeseburger and Saw's chicken sandwich. U wanted to try something new but couldn't resist my favorite burger. It was perfection! Same quality as Saw's! Sweet potato fries were on point as well. I really hope this place makes it! I need to be able to get my burger fix in downtown Homewood. Check it out!

Great service and atmosphere, drinks were great and the hostess makes sure you're satisfied, I ended up having vodka and cranberry juice , I preferred cognac but it is not available there. I would recommend this place for a fun and exiting evening with great mixed drinks.

Service folk were very friendly and quick to check back in. Beer prices were abnormally high. Food was decent but a bit pricey. Wings were quite big.

Great little place I've never been to, great, friendly service and very good food, not a huge menu but what we had was very good. Draft beer selection is very small too but was cold and there were plenty selections of bottles, would definitely go back if in the area, recommended.

Enjoy our visit to Local No. 39 Very laid back and was greated immediately! My husband had the cheeseburger and I had the sweet tea chicken sandwich. Both were good! Off the menu, in season fried okra, yum!

Food and everything was amazing. Our only issue was the service. They dropped off the food, one of the items was wrong but that was fine since I liked what was brought. Our waiter didn’t come back until we were done with the food and dropped the check. Not once did they ask how the food was. The bartender was nice and came to check on us once before we got our food, which was appreciated. The lack of attention on the wait staffs part, though, was extremely frustrating. I’m sure this place is great if you’re a regular, considering they were hanging out with regulars the entire time we were there. That’s all manageable for me, I waited tables for years and I get it, you can’t always be perfect. What prompted this review, though, is when I got an email of the receipt and took a closer look at it. I realized we were charged for 4 drinks when we only ordered and received 2. If there was some misunderstanding, I would understand, but we didn’t order the extra 2 drinks, nor did we get the extra 2 drinks. I can’t help but feel ripped off by this establishment.
