A very nice place to people watch and enjoy the view of the bay activity. The food was good and the service was friendly and attentive. The bill includes a tip for the kitchen but not for the waiter as explained by the waiter. We paid with pesos. Prices were higher than expected.

Friendly, welcoming staff! Just stopped for a quick snack and shared the coconut shrimp. The shrimp were HUGE and locally caught. And they also have lots of good dogs on the beach, which is always a plus in my books. My partner went for a swim and said it was neat because cool river water runs into the warmer ocean water- he enjoyed the swim as well. Great way to kill time while waiting for a water taxi

Great food we had the whole red snapper and a shrimp cocktail. Both were delicious, we enjoyed watching the boats go in and out. Ricardo our waiter also gave us good tips and better water taxi prices to go to the nearby beaches.

Love it. When you consider the alternatives 20 minutes north in Puerto Vallarta vallarta this is really where it's at. You can drive here easily and park very close for free. Authentic, cheap, delicious, laid back, endless photo ops...what more do you want?

Polite, not agressive incall. Take your time and Come back, it is worth it. Service is excellent and with human touch. Food, shrimp, were something you could not expect. Delicious, nicely executed, nice portion. Margaritas overcome your Dreams, so Best in PV area. Service is five stars service, in Beach restaurants not so common. If you visit Boca, you Will not be dispointed in this restaurant.

I truly hope this place never gets over populated by tourists. It’s so authentic of a small fishing village. The food was right out of the ocean and cooked in such an authentic way just look at my pictures. You won’t get this anywhere else. So thankful we were able to experience the way of life by the locals. Can’t wait to go back.

Came to visit Boca for the day. Heard about Mangos from someone in PV. I was not disappointed! They have beautiful beach front tables as well as under the palapa. We had beers and tequila for a great price. Also the food is delicious! We had ceveche, garlic grilled shrimp, and guacamole. All backed by warm friendly service. There are other options on the beach but I recommend Los Mangos!

We had a great experience at Los Mangos. Ricardo set us up with beach chairs and a little table around 10 am and kept the coronas coming through the afternoon. My wife and I each had a stick fish for lunch and it was a lot of fish for 130 pesos. The snapper was particularly good. All-in-all, it was a great way to spend a day. Boca’s bay is busy and it’s a great place to chill out with a book and watch the world happen.

Este sitio es donde de tornan los Taxis Acuáticos hacía Yelapa , Las Ánimas , Quimixto etc.This Is the place where you can take the Water Taxis to Yelapa, Las Animas , Quimixto etc.

Está rico, tal vez deberían tener más variedad, esos los haría muy buenos. La atención es buena y la comida es fresca.

Un lugar sencillo con muy buena comida probamos los pescados, ceviches y cócteles muy buen sabor muy atentos y buen servicio y precio fue de los mejores en comida.

Relax! Get a bucket of beers, say hi to Chuy and the friendly beach dogs, have the chef fire roast a just-caught red snapper, order some ceviche, a margarita, some guac... We were in the area for a week so we got to know the staff at Los Mangos fairly well. Food and beers were reasonably priced - note that a service charge might be added to your bill by hand (totally not required to pay, but please tip!). Friendly service, lots of seafood options, nice atmosphere. Beach chairs and tables in the sand. Closes at dusk.

You won't find any fresher seafood because this place brings it in hourly. Casual dining and abundant adult beverages in a spectacular setting at very modest prices. Twelve miles south of Old Town in Boca de Tomatlan. Great place to stop while waiting for a water taxi to Yelapa or on the way back to Puerto Vallarta waiting for the orange bus.

Es un buen lugar aunque si vas a la playa no comas frente a los restaurantes tienden a enojarce y te piden que te retires pero si comida es buena y también si quieres ir a otras playas como Colomitos, animas o yelapa es un lugar donde pueden proporcionar te los boletos del voté Para que puedas desplazarse si problema

Be aware that tip is included in the bill without your knowledge, until you realize that you should be paying less, so you ask the waiter and he kindly tells you that the tip was added as an optional (not at all optional) but if you hadn't asked you would have left tip twice.

The location is nice, there's a river joining the ocean, you can also wait for the water taxi close by. The price is too much expensive for the quality of the food, besides they already included the tip (~15%) in the bill.

Great spot on the beach. Service is ok. Drinks and food are ok. Margaritas too sweet…actually, the views were the highlight!

The first time we came, everything was fine. Quick margarita and caught the water taxi. Much less of a good experience when we returned from the beach. Ordered 2 margaritas, paid with a 500. The server returned with 160 pesos to give us change and told us we only gave him 100peso bill to begin with. Literally what?! Complete chaos after that, the manager got involved and between none of us backing down and the language barrier, we just left. And didn’t even get to finish our drink. Maybe a misunderstanding and still a nice spot to go. Just be careful with your monies, as with anywhere you go.

Decent place for the area but they are wary of ppl using credit cards and they will try to exchange pesos to dollars very suspiciously. The restaurant needs to do a better job of explaining this.

Food was fine but the waiter added random kitchen fees and a mandatory tip for himself that totalled 250 pesos, doubling our bill. He also offered tourists walking by 2 for 1 deals then told us (as we were already ordering) that there was no 2 for 1 deal
