I live in Bogotá, in the Salitre area. In my travels around the city, I have not found another bakery/coffee shop that offers the quality and selection of pastry of Mi Rincon Frances. Since 2011, I make the short trip to La Candelaria (the historic, vintage section of Bogotá) usually every couple weeks and have a couple of my long time favorites . The coffees are great and their breakfast/brunch menu is delicious. The husband and wife owners and staff are very friendly and helpful, recommending different pastries and providing excellent service. Whether you are a native of the city or visiting, put Mi Rincon Frances on your list of breakfast/brunch restaurants to patronize. Try the Pithivier, Pan de chocolate almendras or Napoleon. You won’t be disappointed. Vivo en Bogotá, en El salitre. Cuando viajo alrededor de la ciudad, no he encontrado ninguna otra pastelería/café que ofrezca la calidad y selección de pastelería de Mi Rincón Francés. Desde 2017, hago el corto viaje a La Candelaria (la parte histórica de Bogotá) usualmente cada dos semanas y tengo un par de mis favoritos de mucho tiempo. Los cafés son geniales y el menú de desayuno/brunch es delicioso. Los dueños que son dos esposos y los empleados son muy amigables y colaboradores, recomendando diferentes pasteles y dando excelente servicio. Bien seas un Bogotano o un visitante, pon Mi Rincón Frances en tu lista de restaurantes de desayuno/brunch para patrocinar. Prueba el Pithivier, Pan de chocolate almendras o Napoleón. No te decepcionarás

AMAZING chocolate almond croissants. Great for a coffee break. The coconut flan and chocolate coffee dessert were okay.

We went here for an espresso and chocolate. These were only ok. We were charged 12k for both, which totally doesn’t correspond to displayed menu. One star extra given for good looking pastry and cakes.

It’s ok. Not amazing. Tiramisu is NOT a tiramisu, the only thing it has from tiramisu is cocoa powder. Miloja is good.

We asked for a chocolate croissant and it tasted funny. The attention was not better since we asked for a menu and they asked us to stand up and ask for things in the showcase. Prices are high for the quality.

Overpriced and overrated. The dessert I got tasted like the dumped a whole bottle of vanilla extract (i.e., it tasted like cough syrup. Took me a minute to figure out what that flavor was!) There is a fantastic bakery around the corner that sells amazing bread and pastries for less than 1/3 of the price of this place.
