Enjoyed having a choice between gluten free cannelloni and lasagne! Thats never happened before. I chose the cannelloni. Next time I would buy a side salad to accompany it. Serving size was on the small side.

We are vegetarians and were so happy to find this place! Vegetable soup and the malfatti were exceptional and the homemade fries were among the best we’ve ever had. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Thank you!!

We had dinner thrice here during our two week stay in Bormio. All the Italian and regional classics are available and taste wonderfully, and the desserts are impossible to skip! Prices are more than reasonable as well.

Loved this cozy but spacious and welcoming place. While a lot of other restaurants were only filling half of their tables, requiring reservations despite being nearly empty or only seating one party per table per night, this place graciously welcomes all. If they have room you're in. The food was good too. Healthy pours on 1L wine carafes, plus you could order carafes of beer (never seen that before).

In Bormio three nights, ate here first and last. Just as good as it was on my previous two nights visit four years ago. Back then I had an appetite as I'd really cycled up Stelvio, this time not so much as I cheated and caught the bus up, for the easy ride down. Contado was just as welcoming and welcome this time though, even though I hadn't really worked for it.

We spent a few days in Bormio for a cycling event, and went multiple times to Ristorante Contado. The pizza they serve is exquisite but relatively cheap compared to Belgium. I took one with Bresaola, the local meat specialty. The last night, after the cycling granfondo the pizza was sold out, so I was "forced" to take a local dish, and I am glad it turned out that way! I tried the "Al Piat de Baita", a combination of sausage, deer stew and grilled mushrooms, served with polenta. On top of that, the restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere and the owners are polite yet funny.

Great place for very reasonably priced food after a hard day’s cycling in the mountains around Bormio. Tasty soup and good sized portions of pasta. Would definitely recommend and will be going back. Good service and food came quickly when we went at 7pm. When we left the restaurant was getting busy with plenty of Italians eating there.

Adored this restaurant.. met a lovely waitress who spoke German and Italian and English .. so I tried my German but she was so lovely Made our experience even better. The price was reasonable and the service was great. They were very helpful considering we didn't have a table booked but we just came back later. So do book a table as it seems to be busy which is a good sign I would love to go again. The town was just magical

Good food, fast service, good pricing. Would recommend people to go here. I liked their panna cotta. Pizza Valtelinese was also tastefull.

First we checked the Google review and were a little worried. But then we were positively surprised: We liked our food (had Taglioni and a Pizza). The taglioni were great! The pizza could have been better. But everything was priceworthy!

Not expensive though not bad for the price. Very fast service (though in June/low season ) and nice staff. House wine is cheap and/but I would not order it the second time.

Our worst dining experience in Bormio. Flies were flying and landing all around, bothering customers. The pizza tasted just okay, but the restaurant got one of our orders wrong. They did not offer to correct it when it was brought to their attention, so my partner accepted the erroneous order graciously. Later, when paying, the staff charged us for the erroneous pizza, which was several euros more than the original pizza ordered. The staff also didn't give us change back for the bill.
