First time but definitely not the last! Celebrated our 3rd anniversary here and from the host stand to server assistants everyone made us feel so welcome and taken care of. But it was our waiter, Brad, that stole the show. He was so accommodating, thoughtful, and took care of us and everything we needed before we could even ask. He was a delight and made us feel so special, and even brought out a special anniversary dessert of the milk and cookies (don’t skip those, easily the best chocolate chip cookies ever). This was by far the best dining experience we have ever had! The food was show stopping, we had the wagyu dumplings and truffle fries as apps and the filet and ribeye for our entrees, with broccolini and Yukon mashed potatoes for sides. Every bite was amazing and the meat was fresh and cooked to perfection. The bread was amazing as well- fresh, warm, soft on the inside with a little golden crisp on the outside. We were also very impressed with the extensive wine list, and with help from Brad we picked a bottle that will be a new staple for us. 10/10 experience, and we’ve already made plans to go back for our next visit. Easily best steakhouse in Boston, the atmosphere is amazing, the staff is very well trained and attentive, do not miss this place!

We’re here to celebrate birthday and we love the food ✨ the ribeyes we ordered was juicy and tasty, it’s 16oz so we shared the dish and order some appetizers. The beef tartare came with the bread and the octopus had smoky flavor, they were both worth trying. The fries were decent but the chocolate cake tasted like the kind of cakes you probably can buy from market basket 😂 (we brought it home and it’s tasted way better after being refrigerated). It’s not a quiet place, full of people on the Friday night.

Absolutely no complaints. The flow of service was impeccable. Our server Vanessa made great recommendations and took great care of us. The general manager Ian was exceptional and made sure everything was to our liking. AND the food. Where do I even begin. We got the tuna tartare, steak tartare, octopus and sirloin carpaccio as an appetizer. They were all incredible. We then got the beef Wellington with Foie gras and the Kobe cap and was blown out the water even more. I cant stress enough how perfect of a dining experience this was. It was my boyfriend’s and I first time here. And it will definitely not be our last.

Had dinner at the bar. 4th time here. Incredible service from the entire team. Food was excellent. It’s a no brainer to come here.

Updated visit 9/22/24: I was able to give feedback about my last visit and the folks here were very receptive and apologized for the long wait times! This visit was excellent and definitely improved from last year. Our server, Chris, took excellent care of us. He checked in on us, gave great suggestions, and was around if we needed anything. The length of the meal was more than appropriate, even through dessert. The food was excellent as always. I loved my beef wellington, and my friends enjoyed both their steaks and branzino. Video review soon to be posted on my YouTube (AlexEats) and Instagram (linked on my profile).

Been here twice now and each time we have gotten exceptional service and phenomenal food. By far the favorite is the Tomahawk steak dinner for 2. Very pricey, but worth every cent! The steak practically melts in your mouth! Other great dishes are the Yellowfin Tuna Tartare, Seabass Ceviche, Bone Marrow, and the Main Lobster Mac N Cheese! But really, you can’t go wrong with anything here. A must for date night or any special occasions.

BEST STEAK IVE EVER HAD SO FAR 🥩 BEST STEAK IN BOSTON I ordered the creekstone dry aged ribeye. It was cooked perfectly, so flavorful. 🍸The drinks were decent, not too decorative so might be a con if you like to take pretty cocktail photos. 🦪 Oysters were fresh and not gritty 🥖 The bread was surprisingly delicious, im fact, it was too good that we forced ourselves to stop eating it so we can save some room 🥣 lobster bisque was a bit different. They added brandy and another alcohol in the soup and I didn’t like it that much. The alcohol was too strong and overshadowed the soup 🥟 the wagyu dumplings tho, was a huge disappointment. The dough was undercooked and it honestly tastes like regular dumplings. Nothing memorable 🥘 The sides were all pretty decently cooked. The exotic mushroom being the best. 🥩 the beef Wellington was also pretty well cooked. The pastry was soft, foie gras and spinach did not take away from the meat but enhanced it. ⭐️ service was good but pacing is a little slow and the dining space is quite crowded. Still a very very strong restaurant overall. 8.9/10

We had an excellent dinner here. The rolls were delicious, the steaks were exceptional, and the service was just right. It was obvious that the other diners were wealthier and there for much fancier occasions, but the wait staff did not make us feel out of place. We will definitely go back.

Celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary at Moo Seport was an absolute delight. Our server, Alex, was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. But it was Stefan Johnson who truly stole the show. His expert recommendations, from pairing oysters with Laurent-Perrier to suggesting a Faiveley Pinot Noir for my husband, elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. We were pleasantly surprised with the complimentary dessert wine, which was simply divine. This was our first time enjoying Moo Seport to the fullest, and it won't be our last. The unforgettable chocolate cake was the perfect ending to a truly memorable evening.

Absolutely delicious and worth every penny! If you like a good steak and love a nice atmosphere, Please do yourself a favor and dine at Mooo Seaport. From entering you realize the ambiance is top notch-as you walk up the stairwell to the lovely restaurant you feel the difference in this and other steak houses. The decor, the candles, the lighting; you can tell a lot of thought and planning went into this establishment. The service was top notch. The food-incredible. I started with the seabass ceviche and the wagyu dumplings. Both incredible. For my main course I enjoyed the wagyu eye of ribeye along with the whipped potatoes and the most delicious honey glazed carrots. The carrots are amazing! What a lovely 2.5 hours of food and service.

Very nice place. Top notch service and the best steaks you can find. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We got the Australian wagyu with Broccolini and whipped potatoes. As an appetizer we got the marrow. Everything looked and tasted great. The steak was the best I've ever had. The only thing we didn't like were the potatoes. Unlike standard mashed potatoes, they were like a thick soup consistency. They were tasty, but too thin. This would be a great place to go for a special occasion, or a date. The prices are on the high end, so you might want to check the menu ahead of time to be prepared.

Ashley was truly exceptional. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, and somehow managed to feel like a friend even though we had just met her. She struck the perfect balance between being friendly and professional, anticipated our needs without ever being intrusive, and made the entire experience feel effortless. Her recommendations were spot-on, timing was flawless, and the food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. After a long, indulgent meal with starters, sides, and mains, we debated dessert and ultimately decided to pass—but Ashley surprised us by bringing out a little treat on the house anyway, which was such a thoughtful and generous touch. You can tell she takes real pride in what she does. Ashley turned a great meal into a truly memorable experience, and we’ll absolutely be back—hoping to sit in her section again.

We had our wedding at Mooo… Seaport and cannot say enough amazing things about the entire experience. From the moment we began planning to the very last minute of our reception, the team went above and beyond in every possible way. The events manager Melanie was incredibly organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. The staff on the day of our wedding delivered flawless service—professional, warm, and attentive without ever being intrusive. The food was unbelievable (our guests are still talking about it), the venue was stunning, and every detail ran seamlessly. It honestly felt like a dream, and we owe so much of that to the exceptional team here. If you’re considering hosting an event or wedding at Mooo… Seaport, don’t hesitate. It was truly one of the best decisions we made. We are beyond grateful for the unforgettable experience!

Modern steakhouse with a twist! Celebrated my mom's birthday with a delicious dinner here at Moo. We wanted something different than the typical steakhouse (Smith & Wolensky, Capital Grille, etc.) and we've heard great things about Moo. The lobster bisque with souffle topping is one of the best I've ever had - sweet from the lobster and not overly buttery. The porterhouse was cooked perfectly. We definitely recommend the cream spinach and mushroom sides. We topped it all off with an apple tart a la mode...yum! Thank you to our waiter, Daniel for providing the best service and making my mom's birthday super special.

I went with my wife for for dinner anniversary. We always are Bar lovers so, we had 2 seats at the bar ( the most comfortable bar I ever been ). We were not extremely hungry so we just try a couple dishes. The carpaccio was good, and nice portion. The octopus was actually not my favorite, I like my octopus juicy inside an we’ll roasted outside, but it was actually just burn and dry. I loved the steak tartare, I actually think is the best I have try. We order the 24 Oz ribeye, with the truffle butter. OMG the steak is just to perfect. Margarita was our bartender, she is such a charming person and so attentive. She makes really good tequila espresso martinis. I really like the place and the friendly staff. “Note, the place is more in the fancy side, so dress up properly”

Absolutely Incredible Experience! We had an amazing time at this steakhouse! From the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming and top-notch. The atmosphere is classy but comfortable — perfect for a date night or a nice dinner with friends. Our server Alexis was truly outstanding. He was friendly, professional, and made us feel so well taken care of the entire evening. Alexis knew the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations on the steak sauces, and made sure every detail was perfect. It’s rare to get service that good these days! The food was beyond delicious — our steak was cooked exactly how we ordered, juicy and full of flavor. The sides were good but the Lobster Mac and cheese were very dry. The Moo steak sauce was impressive. The cocktails were meh.. I’m not a huge fan of savory cocktail which the Devils Advocate was strong but savory. The milk and cookies dessert was the perfect finishing touch. That moo milk is something else!! Everything about this place was exceptional. Great food, amazing service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Huge thanks to Alexis for making our dinner so memorable! We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a group experience in a private dining room for events. The appetizers with champagne were delightful before dinner. The service was impeccable and timely. The Caesar salad fresh, the filet mignon and whipped potatoes, creme brulee and cappuccino paired with their chocolate truffles were all outstanding. I will be back, even if only for the service. Aside, if you're a water snob, you won't be disappointed here.

I spent my 65th birthday dining solo at Moo in the Seaport — something I do often and truly enjoy. This wasn’t about being alone; it was about indulging myself in an extraordinary meal while quietly celebrating where I’ve been and embracing where I’m headed next. ✨ The Beef Wellington was exceptional — beautifully prepared and perfectly tender. The Yukon potatoes were rich and fluffy, though I did happen to find a thin wire in them. To their credit, the staff handled it with grace and professionalism, immediately apologizing and making things right without hesitation. Their attentiveness turned what could have been an unfortunate moment into a testament to true hospitality. 🍷 I paired my entrée with broccolini and ended the evening with a freshly baked chocolate chip cookie — still warm, almost too hot to hold, and completely worth the wait. Moo offers an atmosphere that feels both refined and welcoming — the kind of place where a solo diner can feel perfectly at home while enjoying a bit of quiet luxury. It was a wonderful way to mark another year of life, gratitude, and growth. 🌿

Holy cow this place was insane. THE BREAD AND BUTTER ARE YOU KIDDING. I dream of it. The steak was divine and we did the side flight which was much larger than we expected, but all was delicious. Honestly thought the prices were high at first but they give large portions so it’s all worth it!

S

Very good meat. I had the NY strip loin. Also the tuna tartar was excellent. Béarnaise could use some improvement though, more sour would have been nice. Wines were great as well as was the bread. Good service.

Mooo Seaport is an elegant and beautifully designed place where everything feels refined and upscale. The experience starts with a warmly smiling hostess and ends with the sweetest busgirl — the service is truly top-tier. As a lover of great food, I can honestly say this spot alone is reason enough to come back to the city. The steak tartare and bone marrow are among the best I’ve ever had. The tartare has that deep, slightly smoky flavor of perfectly aged meat, and the bone marrow — served under a crispy crust with roasted garlic — is simply unforgettable. If you go, you must try these two. Just pace yourself — the fresh bread is delicious and fragrant, but don’t fill up on it or you won’t have room! The side of mushrooms is also a standout, and everything else holds up to the same high standard. And please, don’t skip the crème brûlée — leave room for this dessert. It's the perfect finish to a truly memorable meal.

The decor here at Mooo is amazing, the place was packed on the Wednesday night we visited. I thought the steak was solid so was the service at the bar. This is one of the better steakhouses to visit in the Boston area.

Mooo…. Seaport is hands down one of the best dining experiences in Boston. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of modern elegance and cozy sophistication. Our server, Alexi, was outstanding—warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He guided us with great recommendations and made the entire evening feel special without ever being overbearing. The steaks are the star here: perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and seasoned to absolute perfection. Each cut feels like it was chosen with care, and the presentation elevates the experience even further. The sides are equally impressive—creamy whipped potatoes, decadent mac & cheese, and fresh seasonal vegetables that complement the richness of the steak beautifully. Don’t skip dessert—the warm butter cake is an indulgence worth every bite. Pair it with a glass of wine from their thoughtfully curated list, and you have a flawless night out. Whether it’s for a special occasion, a business dinner, or simply a treat-yourself evening, Mooo…. Seaport delivers excellence on every level. Truly a must-visit in Boston’s dining scene.

The reviews don’t lie!! Make a reservation and come here. We celebrated a birthday here. We started with oysters and they tasted super fresh! For dinner, we got filet mignon with a side of mashed potatoes and side of onion rings. All of the food was out of this world! We both agree it was the best filet mignon we’ve had. Brad was our server. He was very knowledgeable on the menu and made great recommendations. Will be back for sure!!!

Incredible meal with incredible services. My partner and I went here to celebrate some of our professional successes that’s happened within the last couple of weeks. Upon finding out, our waiter and the rest of the team presented us with a lovely chocolate cake on the house. The Tomahawk for 2 was incredible and he brought home plenty of leftovers with us. The flavor of the steak and the temperature was perfect and each bite had such an amazing flavor. We thoroughly enjoyed the service in where they explained to us each part of the tomahawk and cut it by the table. We enjoyed it so much and cannot wait to come back.

Really great service from experienced professionals A very well executed meal with impeccable service. Anyone can sell you a 100$ ribeye cooked properly but not many can do it with the level of service Mooo seaport provided Meal timed perfectly, everything cooked perfectly. Upscale setting. One of the best in Boston

Solid steakhouse. I ordered the bone-in ribeye and my husband had the porterhouse—both cooked perfectly medium rare. The steaks were tender, juicy, and flavorful. The bread was also surprisingly delicious. Great service and an atmosphere that’s fine for a relaxed night out.

My wife and I ate at Mooo Seaport on Sunday night, and the food was delicious, the service outstanding, and you cannot ask for much better when you go out to eat. My wife had the Omaha Filet Mignon. I had the Wagyu Filet Mignon. Both were very good, but we both agree that the Wagyu version was better. Our sides were mashed potatoes (served in a little copper pot, which we thought was a nice touch) and jumbo asparagus. Both were very good. I had the Creme Brulee for dessert, and it was one the best and largest I've ever enjoyed. Our server, Brad B., was attentive and engaging. We never lacked for anything, so thank you again Brad. If we had one complaint, and it's a minor one, is that we found the bar area and the tv's above the bar to be distracting. There is a partition between the bar area and dining area, but it needs to be significantly taller in our opinion. A minor gripe compared to the outstanding dinner we enjoyed. When in town again, I'm sure we'd return.

Me and my girlfriend came to moo for the first time today and had the most amazing experience , the food was incredible and the service was impeccable. Our server Vanessa had amazing insight into the menu and gave great recommendations, and the General Manager Ian was very gracious and hospitable when making sure everything was to our liking. Will be coming back again and again, new favorite steak house in Boston!

We came here for my birthday on Friday night. The place was busy, but service was smooth and professional. The interior was low lit and give it a fancy vibe. The food was amazing. We got the 48oz Tomahawk Steak, Lobster Mc n Cheese, Truffle Parmesan Fries, Apple Tart, and Beef Wellington. The Tomahawk was delicious with a perfect burnt layer in it. Beef Wellington was beautiful to eat. Lobster Mac n cheese was creamy and delicious. Apple Tart was warm, sweet and amazing. They gave us homemade smore. Overall, worth every penny. can't wait to come back

I don’t have too many steakhouse reviews but our experience at Mooo Seaport was outstanding. My wife and I, who live across town and don’t frequent Seaport, Ubered to Seaport last might for what turned into one of our best steak experiences in recent memory (yes it was that good). We decided on the tuna tartare appetizer, followed by the Beef Wellington and cap steak (the latter, one of their specialties) and said we would be sharing everything. The tartare, a delicious combination of tuna, seaweed and a yummy sauce with seaweed and sesame oil flavor, was perfectly portioned on two separate plates for us, as was the Wellington, arguably the star of the evening (for my wife especially). Thin, crispy pastry surrounded the tenderloin and inside was an amazing duxelles with foie gras that topped the steak, served on a perfect red wine reduction. However, for me, the cap steak was another level in terms of both richness and tenderness. Of course both steaks were cooked to a precise medium rare and paired perfectly with simple sea salt fries and a glass of CA cab. Very solid beer and wine by the glass menus (and dirty martini loaded with blue cheese olives for my wife). Service was outstanding. In addition to everything being separated and perfectly presented, one of the servers from another table (Zach), whom we had known at the Capital Grille years ago, had recognized our name from the reservation list and came by to say hello! In addition, the manager came several times to make sure we had everything. That level of detail, the “through the roof” level of the food and preparation, set Mooo above nearly every other Boston steakhouse, in the same conversation as Grille 23. Cheers, Mooo!

We had an absolutely amazing experience! My husband, our friends, and I were blown away by the food. The bone marrow was one of the best we’ve ever had — rich, perfectly prepared, and full of flavor. The Beef Wellington tenderloin was cooked to perfection, and the American Wagyu Cap was truly the cherry on top of an incredible meal. The service was outstanding. Our server Brad was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the menu with confidence and great recommendations. The managers were attentive and made sure we were enjoying every part of our evening. The bar also deserves a special mention — the drinks were phenomenal. Ivo( the bartender)I made me a light pink Cosmopolitan that was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. Overall, an unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommend!

Mooo... Restaurant in Boston is as exceptional as any high-end spot we've experienced worldwide. From ascending the stairs to departure, the staff makes you feel truly special—there's no greater satisfaction when spending hard-earned money at restaurants, retailers, or hotels. Our server was excellent, but Stefan, the Sommelier/Beverage Manager, stood out, easing our overwhelm with the vast wine list. After describing our preferences, he confidently assured us, "I have you covered." The first bottle was superb; the second even better. Food: 10/10. Staff: 12/10. Highly recommended.

Bombbbb diggity!! Just had dinner there and our lovely server Danny was excellent. Sorry Moo I've unlocked a " reasonably priced steak" at your restaurant! Steak frites! Unbelievable!Glazed carrots were incredible as was the onion rings! My better half had the salmon and it was delicious,! Calamari app, espresso martini's, creme brulee what else can u say? This place is AMAZING!!! The food is cooked perfectly. The servers are fantastic and very attentive. This was a perfect Anniversary dinner. They even wrote Happy Anniversary in chocolate on our dessert plates. We loved the yellowfin tuna appetizer. Even the ceaser salads were worth bragging about. My girlfriend ordered the porterhouse rare and it was perfectly rare from top to bottom. I had the salmon and it was moist and flavorful. My girlfriend had the mixed ice cream and sorbet. Her favorite was the apple cider sorbet. Everything is made in house. We can't wait to return. We also want to try the one on Beacon Hill to compare the two of them. Don't forget to make a reservation because it this restaurant is full even on weekdays.

I absolutely loved this place. I took myself out to eat for Valentine’s Day and i loveddddddd my waitress Daniel L. This was my first time here and I can honestly say this is my new favorite restaurant and I will be coming back. The food was amazing. I ordered a lot of food so I didn’t get to finish but everything on the menu looked amazing that I had to try a lot lol. The girls at the front desk were so nice. I’m not sure if it was the owner or the cook that went around everyone’s table to ask how we are doing and if the food was great, but whoever that was, was so nice. Honestly everyone was very nice, I’ve never met people so welcoming, professional, and friendly. I only leave a rating when I loved a restaurant so I’m leaving one here. 10/10 recommend and I hope everyone who works there has an amazing weekend, thank you for making my night amazing, if I was rich I would of gave you all $100 each ,xoxo - Laysha

Moo... is the best steak house in Boston. The Seaport location is by far the best when it comes to vibes! The whole staff is just incredible. We love the bartender Ivo, who consistently makes some of the best drinks (espresso martinis and more) and has great wine recommendations for the food as well. His personality makes you feel like you're seen, and then he goes above and beyond to make sure you're having the best dinner. And everyone else who works here has always been amazing. The hostesses were so kind and helped with our jackets. The managers always checked in, and it's always a pleasure to talk with them. Stefan even rushed after us when we left our food behind, and Ian is always on point as well. The barbacks and food runners are always on top of clearing things and delivering items with care. Let's talk about the food! All the steaks I've tried are super tender and have a lot of flavor (never overcooked either). My favorite steak is the Prime Bone-In Dry-Aged Ribeye. They can also cut it up (so it's off the bone) if you'd like. Plus-any great dog owners out there will be able to bring that special someone something home. I've never had a bad meal here. My boyfriend says they have the best burger (at the bar) he's ever had, and he's not wrong (for once). In the winter, they have this amazing sweet potato side that I just can't get enough of. And the Sirloin Carpaccio disappears in seconds. Also, the bread is warm with just enough salt on the top. And I love the asparagus as well. It's always a good size, not the tiny pieces you sometimes get at other places. This is one of the best restaurants in Boston by far, and I've been to a lot. I may sound biased, but I just don't want anyone to miss out.

A good place for a dinner date. From the Japanese wagyu dumplings to the tomahawk steak, most of the items that we ordered were pretty good. The portion size, at least for the steak, was pretty big for 2(Indian couple who can’t eat a lot). We also ordered wild exotic mushrooms, which was a let down. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the service. We were served by a set of very cordial and knowledgeable staff. Overall a great experience.

Mooo has been one of my favorite modern steakhouses in Boston. Their beef Wellington topped with foie gras is truly exceptional, so I recently took another visit to their new Seaport location. Roasted bone marrow and the wagyu dumplings were both great ways to start the meal. Soy and ginger sauce was a great complement to the wagyu fat and the bone marrow was also excellent. However, it took them over an hour to prepare the steaks and the entrée. We ordered both the ribeye and the beef Wellington medium rare but weren’t provided with any updates for over an hour. By the time it came out, we almost lost our appetite, but they were too good to resist. Grilled with excess butter, the dry aged ribeye had a nice smoky crust, and the Wellington was also as good as I could remember. Our dinner ended up lasting nearly 3 hours, but we still enjoyed the overall experience. While their service could be better, their food was good enough to make the wait worth it. Nevertheless, I would recommend making reservations before their prime dinner times if you want to avoid delays.

We had the Japanese Wagyu beef dumplings as an appetizer and they were incredible, the sauce they came in was delicious and the beef inside was perfectly cooked. I got the A5 Japanese wagyu which was very good, some pieces were a bit cool which I understand happens with the A5 but I feel it should have been properly heated up and brought out immediately. It was seared on the outside with the right amount of crisp and the warm pieces inside melted like butter. As a complimentary side they gave exotic mushrooms which were delicious and had some kind of a raspberry vinegar glaze/sauce which was perfect with these mushrooms. My wife got the American Wagyu filet whip was cooked and seasoned perfectly, came out delicious. We also had there tater tots which were crispy on the outside and a mashed potatoe filling on the inside. It was my birthday and they gave me a complimentary chocolate filled with marshmallow and graham cracker. The service was excellent, our waiter was very friendly, everyone who waited on our table was excellent, top class service. All in all a great experience

Excellent customer service, food was delicious flavored, rustic retro atmosphere. Overall I would like to give 4.5 but don't know how. Lamb chops was excellent flavor and mint jelly to to top it off. Only thing I didn't care for was, it was little tough. Everything else we had ordered on the side was excellent.

This restaurant is beautifully put together — the decor feels polished and intentional, and the overall atmosphere is upscale and welcoming. Customer service was great from start to finish, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was excellent. The steak was prepared to perfection, and the drinks were well made. Everything we ordered was on point. The bathrooms are not located inside the restaurant but downstairs in the main lobby, which wasn’t a big issue, just something to note. The only reason this isn’t a full 5-star review is the valet parking situation. Valet was $25 and required payment upfront, which was surprising — especially for a high-end restaurant. This was my first time experiencing mandatory upfront valet payment, and it definitely took away from an otherwise excellent experience. Great food, great service, great atmosphere just wish the valet process matched the rest of the experience

We came here for my birthday, they have “happy birthday” on the menu and write it in chocolate on your dessert. I had beef Wellington which was exceptional. My partner has the New York strip which okay but very overpriced for what it was. The strawberry rhubarb tart was really good but I wish it came with a little more ice cream. The complimentary brioche bread was delicious but the butter was cold and did not spread. The grilled Spanish octopus was amazing for an appetizer! With the exception of the beef Wellington, this place is overpriced. Sides are NOT included with the steak or beef Wellington. We got the asparagus, which is literally just steamed asparagus with no seasoning, a lemon and a sauce on the side for $22. A lemon drop (which was delicious) was $20. Our waitress was lovely and the other waitstaff were on top of filling our water. When we left, people who I hadn’t interacted with said happy birthday to me and everyone was really friendly.

Giving 4 because I wasn’t that impressed with their steak. I got the New York Prime Rib and it was meh. Their lamb racks and bone marrow on the other hand was solid. Top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed them. Service was great. Staff was friendly and kind.

Overall, place was good, but super expensive. There are fancy steakhouses that you can probably get food from that are just as good for half the price. That being said... Gulf Shrimp - pretty good cocktail shrimp. One of the shrimps was nice and crisp, other was a bit more mushy. Cocktail sauce was solid. Japanese Wagyu Beef Dumplings - the beef dumpling itself is definitely good. The soy ginger sauce was CRAZY good though. If I could just get a bottle of this sauce... Roasted Bone Marrow - You'll like it if you like bone marrow. I'm whatever about it. Classic Caesar - I like my lettuce crisp with a bit of crunch. The lettuce here was wet and not much crunch to it. Also heavy on the parm. Prime Ribeye - Above average ribeye American Wagyu Cap - pretty good, better than the prime ribeye, but Ive had a better ribeye cap steak from elsewhere that was like $50 cheaper Beef Wellington - good

I honestly feel like this place is better for drinks then for food I felt like it was extremely overpriced for what we actually got. I did think they went above and beyond with the menu. It was a nice personal touch. I was there for an anniversary and a birthday and they gave her a personalized menu but other than that when you spend 400+ on a dinner 389 to be exact you would think you would get more. I will say that I went there prior just for drinks in the atmosphere. It was pretty amazing. But just be aware that you are going to spend quite a bit when you go here it’s up to you if you think it’s worth it or not I believe this place is more hype than what it’s worth. I would be willing to try it again some other time. The milk and cookies was amazing! Also had to add that in there

Main course + Appetizer + sides: 4.5/5 - main course was excellent (fillet) - flight of sides was excellent (mushrooms, whipped potato, creamed spinach, fries) - bone marrow was not good, it was the wrong texture Drink: 5/5 - Great and well balanced flavor. They even split it for us! Dessert: 2/5: - it was good and pretty but the server messed it up. It looked like a pile of "stuff" before we could eat it. Additionally, the sponge was more of a thick paste, and the flavors were not balanced. - Didn't really taste good, bad texture. Not worth the $18 or $19 cost. Really left us with a bad last perspective on the restaurant Service: Average to poor: (would have been 5/5 for a $20/plate restaurant, or 4.5/5 for a $35/plate restaurant. As is, was probably 2/5 at best) - Very good for the first 1/3 of our meal. They maybe checked on us too often at first - Poor later on. We were ignored and not checked on regularly. Nobody even asked about how our dessert was. It was really bad. - They didn't do anything special for our special occasion. - waters stayed full, but often times we were disrupted when they were filled - not reasonable for such an expensive restaurant. - "You judge a really nice restaurant's service by the worst part of the service. You judge worse restaurants by the best service you get." Other: - Finding entrance is difficult. There's a corner sign for the restaurant but the door isn't anywhere close to the sign, and there's no indication of where the door is from the sign. - bathrooms are down 2 flights of stairs. There is an elevator but it's really weird/poor placement.

I love mooo beacon hill and have been there numerous times. Decided to try out seaport location on the evening of my birthday to sit at bar for a glass of wine and dessert. Was treated like a second class citizen compared to everyone else’s treatment around us. Not sure if it’s because we weren’t ordering entrees but I don’t find it acceptable as we still racked up a bill. It was so clear how differently we were treated vs others which is deterring me from ever going back. Ruined my birthday experience :(
