Fantastic coffee! I was getting frustrated searching for the perfect coffee over the last couple of years dropping a lot of dollars to find that coffee, but not getting much success except with a couple here and there. Then I stumbled on Cairn at a coffee shop while passing through Mint Hill and had the privilege of meeting Blaine while he stopped in to bring some beans to the coffee shop and sold a couple of bags to me. I had the first brew this morning and was really impressed and believe this will be my coffee going forward.

I happened to come across Cairn Coffee while solo vacationing on a farm in Concord North Carolina. Leah and Blaine took an hour out of their day to show me their roasting operation and let me taste several fresh brews. This is a true small business run by genuinely nice people brewing the best coffee I've ever had! I've been happily hooked on their coffee ever since! I don't have any pictures of the renovated barn that they brew in, or their bags of coffee (I've run out), so here are a few random pictures of the farm.

While staying at the local farm we met these two incredible coffee roasters and had a great experience learning about coffee roasting and tasting all their flavors. No really, like all of them. They were delicious and the two of them were super wonderful to spend our morning with. I ended up buying a bag of Milky Way and the guys on my boat all keep stealing some from me so I will need to restock soon it seems. Good coffee on a ship is responsible for most of the moral around here and this coffee seems to bring a lot of new faces to my door. We really like Base Camp and Milky Way - they're smooth and not bitter. Checkout is straightforward, and orders are filled quickly & correctly. A neat feature is that the bags the coffee comes in are resealable. This is great for camping and travelling!

How often do you get a chance to buy coffee that is roasted AFTER you order? It makes a difference in the quality. Highly recommended.
