Best experience I had at a Panera. Ordered a sandwich, didn’t realize it was cold. Asked for the microwave, and Rayan offered to toast it. Minutes later he presents it newly wrapped like brand new sandwich. The little things matter.

Um Um Um good. It has chic peas that I've never liked an they complement this chili so well I'm sorry about my bowl almost being empty but it was so good I forgot to review it.. I got the 1/2 broccoli and cheese soup with 1/2 grilled cheese sandwich and a drink (free refills) for $20.00 Such a great lunch. Come and enjoy the food. You can't go wrong (imo).

i think the corporation read the reviews, they changed most of the employees and the manager used to be rude. I changed it to 4 stars now, because the interior is a little bit outdated. The experience is better than average now. I feel welcome every time I walk in the store, and order is always ready on time. They’re really working on it!

Went here for the first time with my wife yesterday. Find that the food is quite expensive but that it was real good quality. The same could not be said for the bathrooms. The staff was attentive and ready to serve however.

My friends and I visit here at least once a month for girls night out! The food is healthy and quite delicious, the ambience is chill and laid back and we love the employees! Sometimes we'll get there at 6:30 and stay until closing at 10:00 because there's no rush when you're at Panera! It can be a little pricey at times look for their specials! I give this place four yummers! Keep up the good work!

The tomato basil bread was sliced thinner that I recall, and was pretty dry. I hope this was a one off and not the new normal.
Great food great service by the older lady in the front could really use some help she's doing everything herself and it doesn't allow her to give the customer quality service because she was able to help me even when she was super busy
I love this place, but the bathrooms need a serious remodel. They always smell, they're dirty, and overall in pretty deplorable shape. Corporate needs to go in and do some improvements to that location.

The food is usually good but I noticed lately that the sandwiches are getting smaller and less meat on them. I got a half sandwich and soup today and the sandwich was tiny like bite sized. I will be double checking my orders before I walk out for now on. I guess they must be cutting back now that the workers have a minimum wage of $20.
I can't understand how this place is still in business. Ive probably been here a half dozen times in my life and without fail they have been out of something on the menu every single time. This time it was the corn chowder, at NOON they were already out of it for the day... it's nuts! To top it off, its crazy expensive, $50 for my wife and I to have a 1/2 sandwich amd soup combo each... WTH?
Not a good one today unfortunately. I killed a fly and found a small flying beetle on a couple muffins. Worker only threw away the one muffin she caught the bug on and left the others even though i advised her it had jumped on several odd three other breads/pastries. Hate to give this review but thought why shall i only post positive reviews. Sorry not sorry. :/

The white female manager, we paid the monthly fee for sip club, not criminals or thieves! You always check on every customer who came to get drinks. If you can not afford it, you should be the CEO or President to stop your sip club program!! Look at how many customers complained about your services, and the headquarter needs to know how you treated customers and teach you the right way for customer services! Too bad!
Panera bread used to be pretty decent. Now it turned into a strange place that shouldn't even exist. The 'food' here looks nothing like in the photos, and it looks like something that you throw in the microwave for a few seconds at 7-11 on the go. And they demand premium prices. Why does this chain exist anymore at this point? It should be gone. WASTE OF MONEY
The restaurant was dirty. I waited a long time for my food, and the portions were very small for the price. The manager was rude. I usually have good experiences at Panera Bread, but I would not recommend this location.
The problem is NOT the food. The workers are friendly, however, it shouldn’t take 15 minutes to get a soup and bread bowl ready for take out. The service process is incredibly slow; very inefficient sadly. When the lines are long, either inside or the drive thru, one back another time is the best advice.
Someone told me their experiences with this Panera were very bad, and I didn’t believe them…until I experienced it myself. I ordered food in person, and the order took too long to be ready. My Diet Pepsi was FLAT!! This might be a #firstworldproblem, but it’s so disappointing when your soda is flat. I also ordered iced coffee, but they ran out of coffee and I had to wait for them to brew another batch. This was on a Sunday afternoon.
I got the end of the night scraps for my order. Pretty frustrating because they are not cheap either. Just wasted money tonight
Very poor service the restaurant was not clean at all a lot of dirty tables and employee standing behind the bar area talking. The Ladies restroom was filthy And it needs to be updated badly. The person that took our order seemed very confused and kept asking questions over and over. He also did not provide us with a buzzer to get our order so we were waiting for about 20 minutes when we finally went up and asked about our order which was sitting there. Food ok But has gone downhill lately. I had the pick two had a tuna sandwich on sourdough tuna was OK but it was loaded with lettuce and a tomato that was bad. Had the Cobb salad lettuce was very wilted and very little toppings on it. Was a total waste for almost $21 which included a drink, I will never go there again
The worst experience ever and handled by manager tonight. She was at the drive through and said her name is Lark or Laurie and she was supposedly a manager. And this is the kicker they do not accept $100 bills but the order was $65. The owners need to be aware at how silly that sounds and how they lost business because of that.
There is a reason for the low scores folks. I don't usually write these kinds for reviews but this one needs to be noted. My family and I sat down and waited for our order. Given that it was only a shake, coffee, and a regular drink. I was perplexed why it was taking so long. After 15 min of waiting a server or worker approached us while we were sitting on one of the seats and told us that they have a limit to sit inside. WHAT IN THE WORLD? I have been a loyal Panera Bread customer and subscriber forever and have been going to Panera Bread for years. I've never heard of any rule nor has anyone ever tried to kick me out...even while studying. I told her we were waiting for our drinks and have not been called yet. Her reply was, "Oh ok. You ordered something?" I said yes. And she didn't even try to help us if it was ready. She walked away so I walked to the counter and had to ask. That is why this place is getting low scores. For the record, we were all coming back from church and decided to just grab some refreshing drinks. I'll be going back to my favorite branch in Eastvale!!! I don't think I will go to this location again.
They charge too much their food and service was subpar. I will never go back!!
A very disappointing dining experience at Panera in Brea, California. The Store Manager or Supervisor (Not sure if he is the Manager or Supervisor, he is a male but wears makeup and is more feminine) and staff completely rude and very unfriendly. Very bad attitude towards customers and the way he speak is full of discrimination. The restaurant is also very dirty, especially the restaurant environment, tables and restroom. Never go to a store like this again in the future.
All 4 cooks in the kitchen where talking over tge food when preparing.
The service was very poor! I ordered 12 bagels for Tuesday and selected the flavors I wanted. However, when I went to pick up my order, I was informed that the flavors I wanted were already sold out (even though the email said I could pick up my order, but at the store, they told me to choose from the leftovers). Never happened in other location. In the end, I could only choose 6 sesame-flavored bagels and 6 plant bagels!!!! This store is so bad! frustrated
I like Panera so much! BUT definitely not this restaurant. It’s disgusting and my order comes always wrong! Furthermore they make the sandwiches with the wrong bread! WHYYYY? Don’t waste your time, drive a few miles more but go somewhere else, don’t waste your time and your money.
Ordered through the drive thru 3 breakfast sandwiches, I don't recall them being $26.00. but then also waiting 20mins at the window after paying seems to be absurd.
The absolute worst Panera ever. Management is awful to employees and customers alike and it shows in how employees, in turn, treat the customers. Customers are treated like criminals here. The place is always a mess and management walks around without cleaning anything, only to tell people they need to make a purchase to be in the cafe when they did make a purchase. If you were actually paying any attention to your customers, you would actually know who made purchases. This has been observed over several visits. Unfortunately, this is the only Panera in the area, otherwise I would gladly frequent another location. Change the management at this location, please.
Ordered was supposed to be ready for pick-up between 12:05 and 12:15...showed up at 12:15, they had no idea where my order was...gave them my name about 7 times, kept bringing up bags asking if I was that person...uh, no, name hasn't changed! Finally brought my order up at just before 1pm, and offered a larger size mac-n-cheese than what I bought...except it wasn't even the right mac-n-cheese! And the sandwich I ordered was a half steak and white cheddar cheese...two skinny slivers of steak, and remnants of cheese...I paid $10.49 for this?!?
18 months of wrong orders. Why do I keep coming here? I think it’s like a train wreck that I can’t look away from and I’m addicted to seeing just how they’ll mess up the order. We have a game at home where we predict what will go wrong, and someone can always bid “$1, bob” when we think something new will occur that we’ve never seen…todays problem was they sold me a charger lemonade but didn’t bother to make any…after I pointed it out, the excuse was “our delivery truck is blocking the way for us to get it made this morning.” that didn’t stop them from charging me $5.29 for it tho and offering nothing to correct it. OLD REVIEW After a full year of coming in, my final review is in. Don’t come here. Stats wise, my Order is wrong 90% of the time. Something is usually missing. Every time I point it out, the employee du jour isn’t happy to correct it. Usually says nothing, definitely never an apology. On weekends, they’re usually so far behind on orders that it will take over 30m to get the food. So yeah, avoid this place like Covid.
I just wanted to enjoy a simple drink, but the soda was completely flat, and the woman who appeared to be the manager—wearing a light blue shirt—responded in a very unfriendly and irritated tone. I visited this place again after about two years, only to be deeply disappointed by the overall atmosphere of the store, which has changed drastically compared to what it was back then.
NEVER USE DRIVE THRU. We have been stuck for 35 minutes in the drive thru and still a car behind. People are yelling thru that window and they do not answer. I am even calling inside the Panera bread and no answer. We are just stuck. So as I sit and wait….figured I can write a review… 🤷🏻♀️🫤
I'm usually not one to criticize restaurants but sometimes you just feel compelled. Like many of the other reviews on here it wasn't even about the quality of the food as much as it is about service. I work nearby so I try to grab a quick bite through The occasional drive-thru. I have been to this location three times and all three times down it has taken well over 25 minutes to get my food. Given that I have an hour lunch it's just becomes a complete waste of time. Suffice to say I won't be returning because all three times they never offered a reason for the delay or even apologized. That's just poor customer service.
Paid 40$ for 1 caprese sandwich that had the thinnest tomatoes that were falling apart. The sandwich was soaking wet making the bread super mushy. Slices of cheese were also super thin 1/2 chix sandwich with one ripped slice of deli meat. Cup of soup that was teeny to begin with and not filled all the way Called to let them know, spoke to someone in a call center out of the country and was told they would review my complaint and I may or may not be refunded in 30 days. Oh and the tip, since the person at the register hung over to watch what was being tipped. So 20% tip for a disgusting skimped order. Seriously? Your food is already glorified hospital food, now it’s even worse. AND there has to be some sorta grand jury hearings mg in if I get a refund or not.

Update tried them again, 32 minutes in drive through, did not start order till I got to window, looked inside saw lots of employees, no napkins in bag, nonchalant air about them. Sandwich very dry and not much on it, when the american cheese over powers the buffalo flavor, hmm, thought it was a cheese sandwich with a smidge of chicken. Not worth it.
14$ for half of “grilled” chicken sandwich is exaggerated! The meat was undercooked and cold. Not appealing at all and the size of the sandwich was not definitively worth my money. See the picture for yourself. Ain’t coming back here.
This probably is one of the worst takeout service I had considering the cost of the food. I ordered a Southwest chicken salad to go which cost $16. They were out of ranch dressing if one can believe. On top of that they gave me the salad without chicken. :) Luckily, I checked on my way back to my car. I am not particular about serving size usually but the size of this salad was smaller than a side serving. On top of that I am not sure about hygiene of this place given the mops in the kitchen that I could see. A part of me thinks it might be better throw this salad in trash and get something else. That bad!

While we were looking at the menu on the wall to order, one of the staff members suddenly switched the menu board without saying anything. Later, when we asked for a cup and some butter, she sighed and said “okay” in an annoyed way. Please don’t ruin my morning like that
11/22/2025 Dinner drive thru line. Worker was very rude, condescending and mean. I will never go back to Brea Panera. Cancelled my Sip Club due to her behavior. A midsized blonde girl literally stomped to the window and slammed it open. I had been honking because I forgot something on my order. She said there were only three of them working etc. Why take it out on me? If she only knew my story. Taking care of my parents etc. This poor young lady has no idea what stress and pain is. Goodbye Panera. I have been a very devoted customer for years.
The service is terrible with discrimination attitude. The management need work harder to improve the environment. Since I last gave a one star review, I hoped the management might get a clue on what to do. But I am disappointed again. There is no improvement so far. The employees are still rude and disrespectful to customers. Today while I am at counter, the white female servant just walked away. It is amazing so many bad reviews in recent months and nothing is changed.
Panera’s Strawberry Caprese Salad was a complete letdown. The lettuce wasn’t fresh, the strawberries were overripe and unpleasant, and the chicken was bland, dry, and barely there. I ended up throwing the whole thing away after a few bites. For $15.99, the portion was small and the quality disappointing. Definitely not worth the price.

I told her there is no rules saying how much I should or shouldn’t use. She still insisted on the limited amount like she said. Today I went in to pick up the cold drink cup but decided to use my old hot drink cup instead for tea at night. She saw that I had two different cups she then immediately told me I cannot get cold and hot drink at the same time. I said to her I’m using the cold drink cup for something else and only got the hot tea and left. Super rude and unprofessional.
