With guilty delay, I'm publishing a review of one of my favorite restaurants in Brescia. This historic establishment has maintained its tradition, offering classic dishes like casoncelli, tagliatelle with mushrooms, and sliced ​​or skewered Brescian steak. It also offers "heavy" dishes like braised, boiled, and roast veal, which leave you satisfied with the richness of flavors and the generous portions, worthy of a place that makes you feel like you're at grandma's Sunday lunch. The selection of raw materials is obsessive and noticeable from the first bite, even on a fish-themed evening. The fried food they offer is spectacular, or the sautéed mussels are so delicious you'll have to kill yourself with bread to finish the sauce if you order them in red. The menus for groups are customizable, and the staff will guide you in the best choice, guaranteeing prices that rarely match the quality offered in Brescia. The location is intimate, and the fireplace that dominates the first room warms winter dinners. In summer, there is a large outdoor area, suitable for families with children who can roam freely.

An osteria, where the staff welcomes you with extreme courtesy as soon as you arrive. The menu offers many traditional Brescian dishes, made with excellent ingredients. Spit-roasted meat is one of their specialties, and the desserts are all homemade. There's also an outdoor area for relaxing. Perfect value for money. A place you won't forget.
