ABSOLUTELY loved my experience at Juniper. Food menu was not very extensive as the cocktail menu, however, the chargrilled black angus was my absolutely favorite. The queso was thick and flavorful. The shrimp had great flavor as well. The fried risotto arancini was my least favorite. I had the juniper expresso but it tasted like Starbucks coffee which I enjoy just not for a cocktail lol. I then had the passion fruit chili, which was a win!!! Delicious!! I’d return for sure. I spent $180 on food and drinks, which was decent plus $50 tip for the waitress Illana for being amazing and treating us like humans. 🎉🎉🎉 it’s a win for Juniper. All the staff were absolutely fantastic.
On a whim we used Resy to find Juniper Cocktails and Kitchen. It's been open less than 3 months and we were very pleasantly surprised. Very modern vibe but yet cozy and comfortable. We saw from the 20 somethings to seniors enjoying their meals. Now Junipers serves upscale tapas plates with a Euro inspiration. Suggest you make a reservation. We were served by Illana, excellent recommendations and service the whole evening. The staff was neatly attired and very responsive and everyone helps...no standing around which was nice. Food..in a word excellent. Attached are pics of everything but the lemon drop Martini and spicy Mango shrimp. We did not have a bad or poor dish all night. The drinks were 10 out of 10 down to the food. I love the fact they use single ice cubes and the drink stirrers were not cheap plastic but stainless steel. Not a detail missed. Can't wait to go back. 12.18.2025. Another good experience!
Everything we got was great, including the service. Our only critique is that the Brussels sprouts had a bit too much lime/citrus for our taste. Other than that, we loved everything about our experience and can’t wait to come back.
Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in last night! Service/staff was incredible, the cocktails were super tasty, and the food was even better! The overall vibe was super cool/chill. Our server Jared went above and beyond and was excellent! We went with a group of six girls, and they were super awesome about splitting the tab evenly with the food while keeping our drinks on our own tabs. Jared made it a seamless evening! I would highly recommend coming here! Can’t wait to come back and try brunch!
The Hacienda at Georgetown was absolutely wowed by the incredible service, food, and drinks at Juniper! We wanted to support Andrew, Hannah, and Chef Gregory as they launched their new restaurant, and wow—we were blown away from start to finish. From the burnt cinnamon stick “cigarette” Old Fashioned to the espresso pork belly and the perfectly thinly sliced focaccia bread, every bite and sip was outstanding. We couldn’t be prouder of our Hacienda at Georgetown Alumni!
This place is awesome! Today is their 2nd day of being open and they are killing it! The Tapas menu is incredible. We had the tenderloin, pork belly and the carpacio, they were all very tasty! We also tried the glazed donut ice cream is fantastic! The drinks are always well made and the service is on point. We highly recommend this place. It is definitely on our list of favorite places to visit.
We stopped in for a date night. The redfish tacos were great, we had two orders! She had the Sloe Gin Fiz and the Scarlet Reserve, she loved them! I had the Oaxaca Old Fashioned (probably the best I’ve ever had) and the Cacao Manhattan (maybe one of the best Manhattans also.). We really got lucky finding this little gem.
We had plans to see friends play at a venue downtown and found this place was close. I wasn’t sure what to expect, and I was so impressed! The service was perfect, the drinks were expertly crafted, and the food was amazing! This place is not cheap, but the quality of the experience was worth the price! They serve Tapas style small plates made for sharing. The black angus tenderloin with the Robuchon potatoes was melt in your mouth. We are absolutely going to come back to try their brunch! This place is a must try!
Had a fantastic meal and cocktails tonight at Georgetown‘s newest cocktail and tapas restaurant! We’ve been so excited for this spot to open and had an incredible experience dining tonight! Highly recommend the housemade focaccia and herb butter compound as well as the pork belly (our two faves!) Already can’t wait to go back and try more… the desserts looked heavenly, and I’m very excited to have a chic brunch spot!
Juniper is exactly what Georgetown has been needing. We had an amazing night with friends outstanding cocktails, great small plates, and a stylish but comfortable atmosphere. The service couldn’t have been better. We’ll definitely be back
Wonderful meal! So much flavor! Focaccia with garlic chili butter is addicting! Patatas Brava & mango habanero shrimp were amazing! Will definitely be back!
I love the atmosphere! It’s very calm visually aesthetically pleasing. I got here late so kitchen was closed but I did get to order a queso and chips minutes before! The chips are made fresh! The queso has chorizo ! 👏🏻👌🏻 I also ordered a Topo Ranch water and it was perfect. Zesty cold and delicious! 😋
Talk about a standout experience. Here’s a pro tip: ask the team what they’re most excited to showcase next—you’ll be glad you did. The cocktails are crafted with precision, the pairings are thoughtful, and the kitchen is firing on all cylinders with dishes that impress both in flavor and presentation. Whether you’re treating yourself or spending time with your favorite people, it’s the kind of place where great food, drinks, and conversation flow effortlessly—one memorable moment after another! I can’t wait to come back.

Georgetown, meet your new best restaurant. We tried five of the tapas and they were each excellent. Cocktail was out of this world. Flavors were innovative, interesting, and very well executed. Winners of the evening were the beef tenderloin and espresso pork belly. The only possible miss of the evening was the focaccia bread, which was unconvincing by itself. Georgetown has needed a place like this for a long time. It truly stands out from the pack.
The Juniper Benedict on focaccia bread had the most delicious hollandaise sauce I’ve ever had. Six of us ordered it and we all loved it! We also enjoyed the chocolate mousse! 😋 The service was excellent too!
This was our first visit and we were so very impressed. Our server, Taha, had excellent knowledge of the cocktails and menu. The owners were actively working from reception to the dining room. We started with Arancini followed by tenderloin and finished with a dessert. For “tapas” the portions are generous. The cocktails are sophisticated fun. We will be back to support this newer Georgetown restaurant.
Really impressed with Juniper after my first visit. Great social ambiance and decor, with a chill and classy vibe. Drinks were all top-notch in both taste and presentation. The featured margarita and old fashioned were both excellent -- kudos to the bartender. Our server, Christine, provided great service with a positive attitude and offered great recommendataions from the tapas menu. Appreciated the GM circulating and checking in on customer's experiences. This place is well run and it shows. Will definitely be back with friends to share the experience!
Our waiter (Taha) was outstanding and we even paid compliment to the manager/owner. The Tapas and Cocktails were fantastic and a delight to experience. We were celebrating a birthday and received a complimentary bread pudding that was out of this world. Thank you to Taha and Management for a great experience on our first visit.

The atmosphere and service were great! Drinks were good but small for what you are paying, but that could just be how it's supposed to be? The food was hit or miss. Some were very tasty and others not so much. The focaccia was delicious with a nice hint of spice. The patatas bravas are unseasoned French fries with a sauce on top that I didn't like at all. The tempura broccoli was amazing! Highly recommend. The tenderloin was smaller than other pictures I've seen of the dish which would have been fine but I wasn't a fan of their chimichurri sauce at all and I love chimichurri normally. The mango habanero shrimp were tasty but the coleslaw with it was very bitter. The arancini was pretty good. We loved the bread pudding! It was huge and very delicious. This is a great date night place.
I’ll start with, there are some interesting reviews on here. Reading is fundamental, it’s a tapas restaurant-of course the portions are small. And what year do we think we’re in, cocktails averaged $14, which is pretty cheap these days. Let’s try writing reviews with substance, that make sense. Off my soap box. I went to Juniper for what I thought would be Friday HH but learned that it’s only Monday through Thursday 😒 I’ll keep my thoughts on who doesn’t do Friday HH to myself and just say maybe they will fix this at some point. We had the margarita with tequila and mezcal, lemon drop, beef tenderloin, pork belly, fish tacos and Brussels. All drinks and dishes were great. The Brussels had a lemon or lime zing, which made them stand out and the fish tacos were just right. The pork belly was flavorful and sat on top of fried polenta. The service overall was great, in that they were very attentive. Outside of the actual waiter who couldn’t read the room and constantly kept interrupting our conversation. It was quite excessive and absolutely annoying but that’s something a little training can fix. I don’t know if training can fix a server who takes it upon themselves to keep my change without my consent. If a customer gives you cash, you can ask would you like change but you should never assume that it’s yours to keep - kind of a basic skill but I digress. Honestly, I almost gave 3 stars due to the waiter but decided that I wouldn’t let his serving skills taint my review. All in all, super cute addition to GT, with tasty bites, good drinks and fair pricing. I’ll definitely be back. Hopefully, I’ll have a different server 🤷🏾♀️
Was happy to have another cool ATX place come to Georgetown. Juniper has a cute atmosphere but we weren’t crazy about the food. The fries were recommended by the staff and they were soft with no flavor. Unfortunately really nothing exciting to say. Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it either. Giving credit that I visited on the first week of opening so I’ll give it another try but the menu would need some revamping IMHO.

A tapas restaurant service was less than good. Long, wait even just for drinks. The food was extremely underwhelming. The pork belly was not crisp. The tacos were decent. They were out of some things despite it only being 730. The cheese dip was just bar food. Not sure if I’ll come back. The atmosphere was nice. It was about the only reason I would consider it.
Juniper has a lot of potential but falls short of its promise. The atmosphere needs a lot of work. The bar is fairly cozy, but the dining area feels austere. The lighting within the restaurant is much too bright in the center, and far too dark at the rear fringe so there’s little mood to speak of. Our table was very sticky along both sides and one of the chairs was oily, staining my dining partner’s pants. Our server had far too many tables to take care of. She did her best and apologized multiple times as did the manager, but the wait to place our order and get our drinks was exceptionally prolonged. Cocktails were a disappointment with the skimpy Mai Tai being heavily diluted in a tall glass full of crushed ice. As a restaurant that also identifies as a cocktail lounge, their libations should be more creatively presented. Their drinks would benefit from a some bells and whistles…the addition of dehydrated citrus slices, Luxardo cherries, herbs, etc., especially at this price point. The kitchen actually turns out some nice tapas-style dishes, however, portions were beyond small except for the brussel sprouts. Hopefully the owners make tweaks so that Juniper can reach its full potential.
10/10 would not recommend Junipers! We made reservations for an early dinner 3 of us. They sat us and the sun is blaring into our two out of the three of our eyes. So we politely ask to switch tables mind you the restaurant is more than half empty! They told us we could sit outside or get over it! Mind you I’ve already been here once and the food is great but the service for the cost is an absolute no! I really hope management sees this and has a conversation with their hostess because they lost a great customer who will never recommend again!
