My group and I had the most wonderful dining experience at Nubiani this evening. Jacob, our waiter, was outstanding, respectful, and cooked our food to perfection! We were all extremely excited to experience this restaurant tonight due to raving reviews online and they definitely exceeded my expectations!!! Nubiani is a great restaurant and I recommend it to everyone!

Our Family of 5 went here on Christmas day. Got seated 10 minutes after our reservation time. Food was exceptional. Service is phenomenal as they cook the KBBQ for you. 10% cash discount. Will go again on our next trip to NYC.

Best KBBQ I’ve ever had. The employees and service are so good and it’s perfect for a nice casual dinner. We got the large beef package, A5 wagyu, and shrimp chive pancake. The meat quality was insane and the pancake was great. One of my favorite side dishes was the kimchi stew - it was the best I’ve tasted. I will definitely be going so much more! You definitely get your money’s worth here

Great food and service. Very high quality meat. We went with the special beef platter with different cuts of steak. Elevator was tiny but we love all the restaurants in this building and are familiar with the set up. Time limit varies per number of people in your party but they were very polite about everything. Convenient location right in K town. The ice cream was amazing!!! Service was excellent and loved not having to cook ourselves. Overall, highly recommended and we would definitely come back. No bbq smell afterwards. Great date spot!!!!

The food is amazing. Our group of 5 got the Big meat platter, rice, scallion shrimp pancake; extra stew. It was more than enough. The wine selection was great. The server recommended really good and reasonable priced wine. Highly recommend. Only downside part is they are very strict about party size And reservation cancellation. We had a cancellation among our party. They said there’ll be a charge.

NUBIANI blew me away — the quality of the meats was top-tier, beautifully marbled, and perfectly fresh. Every bite was full of flavor, and the sides were just as impressive — fresh, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. The presentation was stunning, and the service was attentive without being overbearing. What really surprised me was the amazing value for the quality you get. It’s rare to find a spot that delivers both premium cuts and a great price point, but NUBIANI nails it. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Korean BBQ done right. First off I'd like to mention the superb service of Ethan, both our waiter and chef. Nubiani got a 5 just for your efforts and I regret not tipping enough for the work you put in! Right off the bat Ethan recommended what we should get for 3 people (2 girls and 1 guy), he didn't try to upsell anything more than what we can eat, felt very genuine. :] I had the small beef package (suited for 2 people) and the pork belly, this was more than enough for us. Ethan cooked the meats excellently! I want to highlight at one point he was going to another table and cooking their meat while at the same time handling ours and it still came out nicely! (Even if your colleague had to help out while you were attending to the other table) - Really, I truly mean it when I see the effort you're putting out! Loving your attitude! Be careful of wearing any lightly coloured clothing as the Korean bbq can get messy with the sauces, Ethan gave us a tide pen to remove the stain! Really felt the effort he was putting in, even from being proactive - refilling our sides right after it's finished, checking in on us and teaching us how to eat his way (WHICH WAS AMAZING), all of the meats with a touch of wasabi is very nice (thanks for that tip Ethan!!)

Went here once before without a reservation and they did not have a spot. I knew I wouldn't repeat this a second time. We were seated at the bar facing the entire Ktown. It was a spectacular vision. Our chef was excellent. He took our orders, small talked with us and cooked our meats to perfection! We were thrilled about the large assortment of sides (which were refillable) and the pricing was pretty reasonable for the service and amount of food we received. Will dine here again if given the opportunity!

I’ve tried quite a few Korean BBQ spots in New York, but NUBIANI stands out above the rest. It is now officially approved as the favorite by my Korean mom, which says everything you need to know. The quality of the meat is outstanding. It is tender, well marinated, and perfectly balanced in flavor. The banchan (side dishes) are fresh, varied, and generous, which is rare in the city. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and the whole experience feels like dining in Korea, not just a New York imitation. What impressed my mom most was the authenticity. From the cuts of meat to the seasoning, everything tasted the way it should. For us, that is the highest compliment you can give. If you are looking for real Korean BBQ in New York, NUBIANI is the place.

Seat at the bar is the best. Less private for a group but you got a good view. We order the set with mix of beef and pork. We got several parts of those. The staffs will grill the food for you just like all grill places in South Korea. They grilled pretty quick where the food will be sat in the plate and less warm when you eat it. The set came with plenty of sides, pickles, rice and free steamed egg pudding. We also ordered the Korean style beef tartare (Yukke). It was so so good. You shouldn’t miss this dish as well.

I had a really great experience at Nubiani. The food was really, really good. I ordered the beef small package and added the Wagyu — and wow, that Wagyu was incredibly tender and juicy. Honestly, once you try the Wagyu, it’s hard to go back to the other meats in the beef small package because they feel noticeably tougher in comparison. Still tasty, but the Wagyu definitely steals the show. I also tried the Hamachi tartare, which was delicious, though probably skippable if you’re mainly here for the barbecue. It’s a nice extra if you’re with a big group or just really hungry. The cold buckwheat noodles were good, but a bit too soft for my liking — I prefer them with a bit more bite. The kimchi stew, which came with our beef package, had a strong, bold kimchi flavor — perfect if you love authentic, deeply fermented kimchi. The egg soufflé was light, fluffy, and so good. And I loved all the side dishes — each one was different and fun to try, and they kept refilling them (and water!) without us even asking. The service was excellent — super attentive and friendly. I also loved the environment: it’s spacious, clean, and I appreciated how the smoke gets sucked out from the side of the grill so you don’t walk out smelling like barbecue. Bonus points for offering both still and sparkling water for free! Another perk is that they offer a 10% discount if you pay with cash! Overall, it’s a great dining experience — not necessarily the most mind-blowing Korean BBQ I’ve ever had, but definitely one I’d recommend. You won’t leave hungry — even the small beef package is more than enough.

Nubiani has seriously huge portions! The two of us just ordered the Beef Small Package, and it was still a ton of food — we were so full by the end. The set came with rice, steamed egg, soup, a big plate of fresh salad, and BBQ condiments. Definitely great value for the amount you get. We also got the beef patty + squid patty on the side. They serve it half-and-half on one plate — the beef patty is made with a whole piece of beef, super flavorful, and the squid patty is fragrant, tender, and bouncy. Both were really tasty. Their cocktail list is mostly classic, and the alcohol content runs pretty high. If you’re used to sweeter, lighter drinks, you might want to think twice before ordering.

I came here for my friend's birthday and had a great time. Located in Koreatown, this is the original location for Nubiani and you have to be sure to book a reservation ahead of time, or you might not get a seat. Service here was good but I do think that the service at their second location in Midtown is much better (that was my first time at Nubiani). The ambiance here is a lot livelier and casual, in comparison to that location. With four people, we decided to do their Nubiani package as well as order their beef tartare, squid and beef pancake, and naengmyeon. Everything was delicious. The side dishes were solid, their meat quality was amazing, and their appetizers were great. I loved the birthday soft serve that they gave to my friend at the end, and their classic orange soft serve was delicious. Overall, amazing meal (but I am a bigger fan of their Midtown location).

Saw a post on threads that highly recommended this place and bookmarked it. Finally got to try it last night, made a booking on resy for 4 people at 6:30pm Thursday night. They will only seat your party when everyone is there. There's a waiting area next to the elevators on the left side. When we were ordering, we were a bit surprised they had a minimum spend required per person, so you'd have to pick between the package for 4 (the 2 more expensive packages on the bottom since the top 2 was only for 2 people) or order 4 meats... and you can't swap it with other dishes on the sides (we wanted to also get japchae and seafood pancake). I think overall the food was ok, not that impressed, and I didn't like the fact that we had to order one meat per person at minimum, cost does add up and it was pretty pricey so we didn't get to try other items. We went with the nubiani package and I only really liked the first one out of all the cuts. They do grill and cook the meat for you so that's nice and all the side dishes are free, you can ask for refills as well. I didn't really like the flavors of the sides so that was also just ok for me. The egg was really fluffy and filling though. They also have complimentary ice cream at the end. If you pay by cash you get 10% off and they'll tell you there's an atm on the side that doesn't charge fees. Interesting experience, with all the options around, I probably won't be coming back again. Our meal came out to be around $70 per person, with this price I'd go for other AYCE options elsewhere.

The beef is high quality and truly premium—absolutely delicious. However, server rushed us and the lady placed the side dishes on the table without much patience. We only had about an hour and ten minutes for three people, which felt very rushed, especially considering we paid around $400.
