This place is always busy. Recommend to make reservation. Came here on a Saturday at 4:30pm. The restaurant was already packed with people waiting. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to get two seats at the kitchen bar table. They’re busy for a reason, because their food was VERY tasty! The warm red wine drink was done well too. Even my fiancé hates fish sauce, he liked all the dishes we had. We’ve been to many Thai restaurants in the neighborhood, this place is the best.
On a rainy Saturday afternoon, we were wanting something warm and spicy and this place delivered. While there are limited vegetarian options, our server was able to suggest really good options. The menu is simple and well marked in terms of what options there are for vegans. I had the spicy noodles with tofu and vegetables and they delivered. The flavors were amazing. Service is spectacular, the decor is authentic and the dining experience was very pleasurable. I would happily dine here again.
10/10 experience at Pure Thai Cookhouse! I'm so happy we decided to come here for dinner. We were curious to see if the restaurant would live up to its name, and we definitely weren't disappointed. We ordered a papaya salad, pad thai with shrimp, and pad kee mao with chicken for three, and the portions were enough for all of us. Each dish was so flavorful and we couldn't stop admiring all the flavors and textures. On top of everything, the servers were so kind and friendly, which made our experience all the more worth it. If we had more time in New York, we would have come back here for sure.
I have been coming here for almost 15 years, used to be every other week when I lived in the neighborhood, now it's every month from brooklyn because the food is always exceptional, service is friendly, and the specials are really special. This is one of the restaurants that make New York my favorite city.
I love this small cozy Thai restaurant. It was the first time to eat Thai food, so I asked recommendation to the waitress. She nicely helped us with smile, showing food photos to understand me! The dried noodle with hot soup was really authentic. I love its vibe either. You should stop and try the tasty Thai food :)
Pure Thai is the best Thai restaurant in nyc. I know…it’s a bold statement. It may not be the prettiest or the best on customer service but when it comes to the food, just wow. I probably been to about 20 Thai restaurants in Manhattan and over 100 across the globe and this place must be my top 5. I had quite high expectations coming in and when your expectations are high, it tend to lead to disappointment, but it wasn’t the case here. When I took my first bite of the papaya salad, my first thought was…yes, yes, this is how it’s meant to taste. This is the perfect balance of flavors. And then heading to the noodle soup, on first sip. I just pictured myself on a small little sail boat eating these noodles back in Thailand. It was just perfect. I had to force myself to eat slowly so that I can savor the experience. I can probably go on and on, but let me conclude with this: If you’re Thai, you’ll love it here. If you’re not Thai, you’ll love it here. Everyone will love it here. This spot is freaking amazing and I’ll be back to try other dishes.
I ordered the chef's lunch special with braised pork and it was fantastic! The noodles were delicious and the sauce was excellent! The service was great and I will definitely return next time I'm in the city.
A-m-a-z-i-n-g! Authentic atmosphere, super friendly and nice staff and even customers! You feel like you came to another world, where’s everyone super friendly and relax. Food options make you want to come back again, because it’s hard to chose, you want to try everything. Plum sake is delish and must try. $8 glass of sake ($36 bottle) $9 wine $4.50-5 beer $9-$12 meal They have 3 levels of spice: medium, mild & hot We had - Wok Basil with Chicken (mild) - super tasty and spicy but not to the crying point; - Pad Thai with Shrimp (mild) - wasn’t spicy at all, would order hot next time. - Vegetable dumplings with spinach inside is delicious (4pcs appetizer)
This place was absolutely amazing. The ambience, the staff and the food. We got the mixed appetizers and they were all amazing. Our favorite was the steamed veggie dumpling. Never had anything like that before. And for our entree, we got pad kee moa with chicken. It was delish. Will definitely come back to eat here when visiting. The Thai tea was very good as well. Not to sweet like some other Thai places.
When traveling to cities I try my best to sit at the bar or near the kitchen to watch the masters at work preparing their art. I sat in front of the small noodle prep kitchen that you first see when coming in. I would highly recommend just watching, observing, and appreciating those who make our food. The 2 master chefs who worked in the noddle cooking area played well off each other like Yin and Yang, one prepping and cutting while the other cooks and plates the noddles. The fluidity of the noodles being dunked into the hot water and then garnished with spices was quite artistic and engineered to perfection without wasting a single ounce of energy. On this cold, rainy day I started off with an iced Thai Iced Tea which was delightful. And then I had an appetizer order of the Thai Curry dumplings which were delightful. To warm up my cold bones I had the Braised Duck Hand Made Noodles with 5 spice soy broth. The in house chili sauce on the side was so flavorful and brought each dish up a notch with a spicy flavor explosion. I also got 2 orders of their famous Crab and Pork Hand Made Egg Noodle dish to go. One for myself and one for my cousin that I brought back to DC with extra chili oil and it was still amazing 5 hours later! All in all, this is probably the top 2 best Thai places I’ve been too, the other being Lotus of Siam (James Beard Award) in Las Vegas. Run, don’t walk here!!
I'd say this was a very great and unique experience about Thai food. Ordered curry dumplings (special for the day) and duck noodles, mainly for today. And out of curiosity, I also had some chicken wings as add-ons (despite I knew, I still appreciated them friendly reminding me that I may not have finished up all those). Curry dumpling had a very fresh and rich taste, especially after adding the coconut dip. I enjoyed a lot for the duck in the noodle, with all the veggies and the soup itself, as well. Chicken wings were also good, especially with the dip they provided. Last, I myself really loved their hot sauce. Not only I like the food, but also enjoyed the dining atmosphere (see my photos). Servers were very attentive as well. Make sure to come early - looked the place was soon almost filled, not long after its opening at noon time.
Amazing place! Great music. Great vibes. Love the layout of the place. Great food! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high quality Thai food and superior service! The waiters were very attentive and responsive. They checked in every once in a while and poured water when someone’s cup was low. If I can rate it higher I would!
Absolutely delicious! We got the chicken pad thai, the vegetable wok medley, veggie spring rolls, and I got a lychee sangria. Everything was so good! And the service was wonderful. They were slammed and only had one table outside, but they sat us immediately and still took very good care of us. Highly recommend!
Delicious and authentic food that defies your expectations for Thai food. It stands out from your typical Thai restaurants by offering unique options and preparing staple dishes found in other Thai places differently, but don’t let the unfamiliarity keep you from trying the food. Love the Thai iced coffee (which isn’t too sweet or bitter) and the pork & crab dry noodles! The noodles was very filling, generous with its toppings, and surprisingly flavorful for dry noodles. The broth version was great as well. Also really appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff! I was in a rush and the staff was understanding and sped up the service for me.
My friends and I were in the mood for Thai before our show. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I loved the music and the overall vibe of the place. I had pad Thai with shrimp because I was hesitant to eat very spicy food before my show, but it was the best I’ve ever had. We also split spring rolls which were very tasty. I’d recommend this place to anyone and would love to go back. This restaurant was unbelievable. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and quick and the prices were unbelievably good value! The seasonal soft shell crab was the best I’ve ever had. We then feasted on a variety of other appetisers which were equally good. For mains, I loved the pad Thai, but my friend had the roast pork and crab egg noodles and said they were fantastic. Would definitely recommend this for couples or families.
Even though my online delivery was running late today BECASUE OF THE UBER SYSTEM, as Thursday, October 16th, I decided to pick up my order around 12:35 PM instead. I want to give a massive shout-out to the waiter working the front! He has the best customer focus and was incredibly helpful during my wait time in the restaurant. I watched him greeting and serving everyone with genuine hospitality and a smile. As for the food, it's consistently great! I've ordered from this restaurant more than 25 times, and the food is always a winner—the noodle dishes are my absolute favorite.
There are so many pedestrian Thai places it’s always a crap shoot to try something new. Even if someone recommends. But when it’s right, all the same flavors are there from the bad places, but it’s different. Instead of being all smashed together they seem separate, each bite more tantalizing than the first. Such was our visit to Pure Thai Cookhouse. From the opening dumplings to our, did we really just do that, second order ( for dessert!) RATCHABURI CRAB & PORK DRY NOODLES. Everything was spectacular. Even the restaurant keeps expanding as you make your way back. This is the best Thai I have had outside of Bangkok. We will not soon forget and will be back for sure on our next visit to NYC. Wait!! We already did that, we stopped in again on our way to the GW bridge and out of the city. It’s that good.
The RATCHABURI CRAB & PORK DRY NOODLES is one of, if not the, best meals I've ever eaten. The handmade noodles are as perfect as a noodle could be, with a toothsome snap. The title says "dry" but it is server with a sweet/savory broth-like "sauce". The balance of textures and flavors is truly remarkable. Everything belongs, nothing is overshadowed, nothing is overdone, and it somehow demonstrates simplicity with depth. The root vegetable puffs and steamed vegetable dumpling our textures/flavors I've never had. So unique. The CHICKEN SATAY BUNS were perfect. Smokey grilled chicken that melted to the bite and was beautifully seasoned and paired with condiments. Go!
During a visit to NYC, we had dinner at Pure Thai Cookhouse. I made a reservation earlier in the week and it was a good move as we watched a few parties be told there was a 40 min to hour wait on that Saturday evening. For the table, we split two orders of Thai Fried Chicken Wings. These were a big hit. These were fried to perfection, super crispy and flavorful, and served with a delicious chili sauce. For the main course, I had the Pad Kee Mao (Drunken Noodles) with shrimp. I asked for it to be the spiciest (level 3) and they did not hold back. The others at the table all had Pad See Ew with either beef or shrimp. They enjoyed their dishes as well. Service was very friendly and timely. Will return when back in the area!
Authentic Thai food. After living in Thailand for 7 years, I cannot stop looking for real Thai food to enjoy this firework of tastes. Most of them are just an imitation of Thai food. But this one is a real gem. If you are looking for authentic Thai food, this place is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back!
Thinking about Thai authentic food I would love to recommend this amazing restaurant. I ordered Pad Thai with Thai spicy was so incredible. I really love Thai spicy. I asked my server to get extra raw bean sprout. She served immediately as you ask for. I will be back and tell my friend to try this restaurant for sure.
So delicious! I came to dine solo and the staff were so friendly. I don't always get a drink, but the lychee martini intrigued me and I'm so glad I got it! It was sweet but not too sweet and served ice cold. So good. Everything on the menu looked great, and I settled on the Pad See Ew. It ended up being the best I've had in years. I personally prefer a slightly more cooked tofu - it was pretty soft, but the flavor was perfect and I would order it again. The noodles, veggies, eggs, and sauce were on point. I'm absolutely going to have to make the commute to Manhattan just to come back and try more dishes here.
This is my second time here, and it was just as good as the first. This is definitely my favorite Thai place. The food is outstanding, and the prices are so reasonable. Definitely get the dry noodles with pork and crab. So flavorful. Usually when you order spicy, it is far from it, so we ordered extra spicy in the green curry. It wasn’t necessary. Get medium spicy if you like it hot. There are four different condiments on the table to increase the heat. Excellent service. Love this place.
Wok basil is super duper good. Savory, with the aroma of green and red pepper, it goes well with rice. Crab fried rice is also amazing. Also a warning to those who haven’t tried Pad Thai before: they got authentic Pad Thai and it is VERY sweet, so don’t order it unless you like sweetness
At pure Thai, the air was thick with aromatic spices as we entered. The ambiance struck a perfect balance between quaint charm and culinary fervor reminiscent of a hidden gem. We navigated through a labyrinth of tables, our journey punctuated by the hustle of the kitchen. After we took our first bites, I felt their warm embrace of a far away distant land yearning to tighten its grip upon my senses…..
This is definitely the place to go for authentic Thai food and where you would very likely encounter flavor profiles that are entirely new to you. We started with the seasonal special crispy soft crab salad - the crabs were very fresh and delicious. We didn’t hesitate to order two noodle entrées as the noodles are absolutely the house specialty. You just have to try the crab & pork dry noodles - I would come back again just for the hand-made egg noodles themselves. Meanwhile, the seafood noodles were very unique - never had red fermented rice based soup like this - plus a superb assortment of seafood.
This restaurant is cute little place with amazing authentic Thai food. The appetizer the chicken satay buns is delicious with peanut sauce and cucumber relish on the side. I would go again to have it and a recommended dish to try. Their chicken fried rice was very flavorful and tasty. Ahh I forgot to write about their egg omelette with shallots, it was fluffy and little oily but very tasty . A must try restaurant if you are around this area.
Cozy, delicious Thai spot offering a well curated menu of classics and daily specials. The service was friendly and fast and the ambiance was casual but comfortable. The flavors are well balanced/spiced and not overly sugary. Both the seafood and soup special and the classic dishes we ordered were fantastic, plus the amazing pumpkin custard and coconut sticky rice dessert! Overall great value for price.
I love this place! Great atmosphere and decorations, reminded me of back home in Asia (Vietnam and Thailand). Foods are amazingly delicious. Very carefully made and tasty. Sugarcane ice-cream is a perfect way to ending the meal. Staffs are friendly and great service. I’m highly recommend Pure Thai Cookhouse.
Really enjoyed the food, which arrived quickly, and "Thai spicy" really was spicy! Super, friendly service and very reasonable prices. The only slight negative was the row of seats facing the wall in the second room don't really have anything much to look at apart from a blank wooden wall. Easily fixed. Would definitely visit again.
One of my favorite dish at PURE THAI COOK HOUSE is Dry noodle (ratchabuti Dry noodle) !! This is amazing and it reminds me when I was in Thailand! This place has so many authentic dishes as well as Larb Duck that also taste like in Thailand!!!! Service was great! Can’t wait to be back to try more dishes!!!
Was looking for a Thai option near times square and found this small but great authentic Thai place. Food was spectacular. Ordered the rachuburi pork and crab noodles, pad kee Mao, thier special Thai curry dumpling, pappaya salad and the sticky rice with mango. Great customer service, our sever Gigi was constantly paying attention to the table and provided great suggestions. Portion size and price was reasonable for such a awesome meal.
Really good Thai spot in HK - There are a ton of Thai Places around and this is currently ranking at the top for me. Got the Fried Chicken Wings and the Wok Chili Pepper Steak. Both were great and I’d have no issue ordering them again. I requested some serious spice in my entree and they did not disappoint - it was spicy. So if you are into that they will satisfy your needs. Cool atmosphere and food was good. Recommend it if you are looking for Thai in Hell’s kitchen.
I live in this neighborhood 10 years ago and noticed Pure opened. Been a few times over the years. Always great but this recent visit was excellent. Had their more niche dishes like Thai Boat Noodles and YTF noodles. Pom, our server was awesome and the food I'd come back for. 10/10!
Amazing! What a cute and cozy Thai spot. Feels like you’re transported to another country with the vibe, decor and soothing music. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for the quality and area. My partner and I made a reservation for us to dine with another couple, it was the first time there for all of us. We all loved it! I highly recommend making a reservation, especially if you want to come here before catching a 7p or after show. The place is small, feels very authentic. Patience and joy is key as you make space for guests and staff to move around you when standing.
A little change of colour and style for table setting and decoration inside. Some special dishes and drinks on the menu today so I tried the chicken seafood rice noodle stir-fry and have a glass chrysanthemum flower drink. Always friendly staff! Still my most favourite Thai restaurant to pop in for a quick lunch or group dinner. Love the noodle bowls the best! They had daily specials at this time when we visited and it was beautifully cooked braised pork with spiced thin noodles with sauce. I also love the sugarcane ice cream! The staff is always attentive and friendly here 😊
This Thai spot is one of our first stops every time we visit New York—and for good reason. It’s always buzzing, always busy, and somehow always delivers. The food is consistently amazing: bold flavors, perfectly balanced heat, and dishes that taste just as exciting as the last time you had them. Despite the crowds, the quality never slips. Each visit feels reassuringly familiar and still special, like returning to a favorite ritual in the city. If a place can be packed nonstop and never disappoint, that’s how you know it’s doing something right. An absolute NYC staple for us.
I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and I still order the same soup every time — Sukhothai. Over the years I became pescetarian, so they make it with tofu for me now, but I’ve had it with meat before too and both versions are equally delicious. It always tastes exactly the same — pure comfort. The place is tiny but the food is incredible, and I bring everyone I care about here when they visit. The staff is always warm and friendly. Pure Thai is truly a gem of Hell’s Kitchen.
I’ve been coming here for over 10 years, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. Even after moving away from New York, I make sure to stop by every time I’m in town visiting friends. I’ve never had a dish I didn’t enjoy here—everything is consistently delicious and comforting, like home-cooked food. On my latest visit, we had the khao kha moo, ba mi poo, and khao soi—all packed with rich, authentic flavors. The restaurant is always busy, which says a lot, but now that you can make reservations in advance, it’s much more convenient. This place truly never disappoints and remains a must-visit every time I’m back in the city.
We came here as a group of three friends and had such a great experience! We ordered the fried chicken wings, spring rolls, Thai papaya salad, and noodles — everything was absolutely delicious. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced. Service was fast and friendly, which made the meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone craving tasty Thai food!
This place is a must-visit! The noodles are incredibly tasty and the other Thai dishes are just as flavorful. I’ve been here twice already, and both times the food and service were perfect. Special thanks to Khem, who was incredibly kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for us. Definitely a 5-star experience!
My wife and I came here in 2018, absolutely loved it, and came back from across the country in 2025 to experience it once again. We were not disappointed, and it was even BETTER than we remember it! The service was extremely fast, the waiters were so attentive and friendly (they even gave us extra plates to share since they saw us sharing our entrees without us even asking!), and the food is INCREDIBLE! We will come back any time we find ourselves in New York again in the future!
In the past 15 years the Thai population in the US has doubled in size, and it’s a community that opens a lot of restaurants. Manhattan's Thai food history reflects a cycle of immigration, culinary establishment, and geographical shifts, bolstered by national efforts to spread Thai culture through food. For decades, Hell's Kitchen, especially 9th Avenue (between 36th and 53rd St), was the spot for authentic Thai cuisine. Located between 51st and 52nd Street on 9th Avenue, my partner, my family, and I decided to have lunch at Pure Thai Cookhouse. A reservation was easily made via OpenTable. Upon entering the very popular husband-and-wife team establishment, we were greeted by the staff and got a round table by the window instead of the picnic bench-style table in their long and narrow paneled interior with vintage Thai movie posters invoking the outdoor street food culture. Their menu features the classic dishes one would find at a Thai restaurant (curries, stir-fries, and homemade noodles). For appetizers to share, we decided on the Mixed Appetizers, which featured 2 steamed vegetable dumplings, 2 root vegetable curry puffs, and 2 vegetable spring rolls. For our main meal, we opted for Pad See Ew with beef, Pad Thai with shrimp, Crab Fried Rice, and Wok Roasted Chili with Shrimp. The flavors were authentic and well-balanced. Each dish incorporated saltiness, aromatic spices and herbs, spiciness, sweetness, and sourness. If the dish does not tick all these boxes, then it is not truly Thai. We’re convinced that almost anything on the menu would be great as is, with no tweaking or extra spice needed. Service was fast and friendly. Our server was Bew. One can truly experience real Thai cuisine without having to fly to Thailand.
Thai cuisine is in my top 3 favorite cuisines ever. So much so that I've traveled to Bangkok to eat and learn to cook more than 3 times now. While I have my usual Thai restaurant go tos, Pure Thai is now my favorite when it comes to their noodle soups! I've just recently tried both their beef and roasted pork soups with rice noodles and they were so delicious and comforting! They also do their Thai iced tea just right and have good vegetable spring rolls! Service is warm and friendly even if they get so packed and busy. The restroom is spacious and clean especially in their expanded section which we usually enjoy better. Can't wait to come back soon for my Thai noodle soup fix! :)
The food here is absolutely delicious! The noodles have an authentic Thai flavor, and every single dish is packed with amazing taste — yes, every single one. You can truly experience real Thai cuisine without having to fly to Thailand. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Highly recommended!
Such a gem! Every single thing was delicious & the prices were so reasonable esp for being in NYC. Service was top tier and the restaurant is super cute and cozy. Update: Just went here again during a day trip to NYC & it was so good once again! We got the app sampler (veg puffs are the best), chicken pad Thai, and the crab & duck noodles. Lovely service & delish food!
12 years ago when I first visited Pure Thai Cookhouse, I was blown away. 12 years later when I came again, I was still impressed by the quality of their street style Thai food. Even better this time, it is slightly easier to get a same day reservation. I'll take my friends to this place if we are looking for no frill high quality Thai street food with reasonable price. This may be the top one for me in this category.
I dined here alone today and ordered the Seafood Pad Cha—it was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and the atmosphere is clean, quiet, and peaceful. The restaurant has a strong authentic Thai vibe that makes it feel special. This has definitely become one of my favorite spots in New York.
I love this Thai restaurant in New York!🇺🇸 The noodles taste just like home, and the larb kua is exactly like the authentic Thai food 🇹🇭we have back in Thailand. Every staff member is so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend everyone to come and try it!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ If you’re craving authentic Thai food in New York, this is THE place to go. Don’t miss it — especially the larb kua!
Stumbled upon Pure Thai Cookhouse while looking for lunch in the area—and I’m so glad I did! In a neighborhood full of Thai spots, this one truly stands out. The vibe is casual and rustic, with friendly, attentive service. I ordered the Noodle Kiew Hang from the specials menu along with a Turmeric Lemongrass Tonic. The flavors were bold, balanced, and absolutely delicious—the entree had a perfect mix of sweet and heat. The tonic was light and refreshing. Can’t wait to come back and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend giving this spot a try!

The restaurant has a small door so we almost missed it. The experience is nice since you go in, with Thai music and a nice ambiance. Service was fast and food was very good. Great place to eat.

Super reliable place for dinner! Even on a busy Friday night, just called in advance and a 30 min walk later our table was ready. Love the vibe too, super cozy and nice for a dinner with friends. The noodles are all solid, not the best Thai I've ever had but a good meal. The best thing IMO is the sticky rice for dessert! They usually have seasonal flavors like mango or pumpkin custard. Soooooo yum!
A small cozy place that serves nice ThaiFood. Was hoping for a nice Tom Yum soup but they don’t sell. Probably the locals can’t take too spicy food. I can feel the food has already localised with most of the items being sweet, rather than traditional spicy. While the chicken wings are not the traditional Thai style, I must say it taste real good. If I make reference to authentic Thai food, I will give it a 3.5 star. If I based on localised taste, I give it a 4.5 star. Well… will certainly be back again.
When I think of Thai restaurants like this one was, I think about good quantity of food to fulfill one's stomach and heart.! This place was fairly occupied for dinner on a Friday and we got a table which was rather small for 5 people. There are few vegetarian dishes here as most of the items have fish sauce (which is okay for Thai places I would guess) We tried veg spring rolls and dumplings. Both were tasty! For mains I tried the shrimp stir fry with jasmine rice. The taste was excellent but overall portions were less. Service is okay, no complaints.
Ambience : A small restaurant near Hell's kitchen with limited seating options. The wait time was not bad on a busy weekend. The interiors look warm and cozy. Service : was great given the restaurant was packed with folks waiting as well. Drinks : They have a choice of beer, wine and sake. We ordered a bottle of plum sake and it was really good. Food : For appetizers just order the Curry Chicken Puffs - they taste amazing! We ordered the Jungle Fried Rice, which was good and the pork noodles that was a disappointment. Pricing : Moderate. The bottle of Plum Sake makes your check fat :) Will I return? : Yes, if I am in the area.
The pork and crab noodle dish was really flavorful and yummy. The special dried beef salad was tasty but smaller than expected. The pad kee mao chicken had good flavors, the rice noodles were a little different in texture than most other Thai restaurants. The atmosphere was ok. There was fun music playing but not loud enough to disrupt conversations. However, the space is just way too tight. We were seated next to a couple we don't know with our small table literally connected to theirs. When the girl turned around, she flung her hair and whipped at my arm. So the space was annoyingly tight. The service was overall good. I enjoyed the flavors in the food but I think some dishes had fair to generous portions while other dishes were very small portions like the dry beef salad. Overall I had a good experience, but I hope my honest feedback provides some areas for improvements.
This was such a nice find! I luckily found a reservation here and was seated quickly. It's a really small and cozy space and served incredible food. The papaya salad was actually spicy, so make sure you know your limits if you want to choose the spiciest level. The fried chicken and the pad thai was also really good, and was up there on my list of good Thai spots. Even the Thai milk tea was good! Overall I think it was a solid spot for Thai food .
Solid place, fit for everyone and enjoyable. Service was amazing and very kind! My friends and I had a great time here and would recommend. Note: If you’re Thai like me, you’ll still probably want to ask them to turn up spiciness a few notches - but this comes down to personal preference! Highlights: ⭐️House special Yum Khao Tod salad ⭐️Sukhothai Tom Yum Noodles with pork crackling ⭐️Custard dessert with sticky rice Crab fried rice (it’s not proper Thai style fried rice without the chilies n’ fish sauce garlic concoction called Nam Pla Prik and a fresh squeeze of lime!), Beef phad phed stir fry and chicken wings were good overall. Very few cocktails so we opted for Japanese sake, but turned out well nonetheless @netgonenutsforfood
Great place. For starters got the chicken satay buns and the fried chicken wings. Both taste nice. For mains got the chicken fried rice and chicken pad kee mao. Fried rice was okay, pad kee mao was good. Their most unique offering I would say is the dessert. Got the sugarcane ice cream with the pineapple jelly. It was simply amazing. The prices are reasonable. Quantity is good for 2-3 for main dishes. Nice stop.
Great Thai spot in Hell’s Kitchen with many unique dishes not found in typical Thai restaurant menus. They have fantastic daily specials too. There’s almost always a wait because of their popularity. Many things are spicy but you can for most of them request a spicy level. However when we last went there, the dish that was level 3 (highest) spicy was milder than the one that we requested level 1 (mildest) and I couldn’t feel my mouth for a while after
We came, we sat, we ate, and left all within 15 mins. Came here after a show just before 10pm and they were able to sit us and serve food all within 5 minutes. We gobbled our food and was on our way home in no time. They automatically charged gratuity for our party of 5. The drunken noodle was flavor and had the “wok hay.”
Our group (6 people) unanimously decided on this restaurant seeing the great reviews. We had a mixed experience. Pad Thai (both chicken and shrimp) and bowls were very good. Thai ice tea was delicious. Vegetarian dishes were bland and dry. Servers were very friendly and ambience was homely. Definitely worth visiting again.
Had a great experience at this Thai restaurant! The flavors were vibrant, fresh, and truly authentic—definitely some of the best Thai food I've had in a while. The service was attentive, and the ambiance was warm and inviting. My only small critique is that the portion sizes could be a bit bigger, especially for the price. Overall, still an excellent dining experience, and I'll definitely be back!

The food was good, the wait was not too long and the service was good. I will go back again if I want Thai when I am in the neighborhood.

Great little Thai spot. Very friendly staff, quick service if you're headed to a show. The place was busy, but the turnover was pretty quick.

Great place for dinner, especially liked the pad thai! We had dinner here with two people, and we really loved the Pad Thai. Of course, not as good as in Thailand, but it's up there!

I don’t have much experience with Thai food but as my personal opinion the whole experience was mediocre. The servers were all really nice but a little too attentive as they were constantly asking if we needed anything. I know they are doing their job but I personally would like to not be bothered while eating my food. Service I will still give a 8.6/10. Let’s start with the appetizer. We got the crispy vegetable spring rolls ($9.00). Overall the appetizer wasn’t satisfactory as the spring rolls were of the kind that you get from the frozen aisle. They were pretty ordinary but for the price I would expect something to make it stand out. For the main entree I got the Wok Basil Chicken ($16.00). It came with a small clay bowl of chicken, string beans, red and green peppers along side a small bowl of jasmine rice. The pieces of chicken were small but the taste was decent. The portion of rice they gave was not enough personally so I got another bowl which came with an additional $2.50 charge. Overall I would give this dish a 7.3/10.
I visited this restaurant based on its high ratings. The ambiance was nice, and the space felt unique, though small. I was offered a “bar” seat facing a wall, despite other open tables—likely reserved for larger parties, which I understood. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. My server gave off cold vibes, and I didn’t feel particularly welcomed throughout my visit. The food itself was solid, but the lack of warmth from the staff impacted my overall experience. When it came time to pay, another young lady cashed me out with the same disconnected demeanor. Overall, while the food was good, the customer service made the experience feel average at best. A bit of a letdown.
Good little Thai place. Papaya salad was great though a bit spicy. Veggie and tofu entree tasted good but could be more flavorful. Sake was presented well. Due to unavailability of mango, they served sticky rice dessert with pumpkin, which did not work and was just too sweet. Tea tasted okay. Ambience was nice but the tables are too close to each other. Overall, an okay-okay place.
Wanted to love this place. The reviews were very high so I booked Father’s Day. The service was excellent but the food was very average. Nothing spectacular

⛔️ Warning about forced tipping!! 💲 We went there as a group of 4 adults + 1 child (4 years old). They added a mandatory “gravity tip” at a 22% tipping rate without informing us beforehand. On top of that, the tall skinny server had a moody attitude toward us.👎👎 BTW, The food is tasty and authentic. 👍
Decent food. This is a place that tries to get you to double tip. When it came time to pay the bill I got no itemized bill and just a machine displaying a number with 20% tip already included, but had additional tip options that began at another 18% and you'd need to tap a few options to avoid it. The waiter made no mention of the tip being already included and there was nothing exceptional to service to merit more gratuity. I'd have appreciated more price transparency.
Terrible Thai restaurant. The steamed vegetables I (fortunately) ended up taking to go, as you can see from the photo, are brown. We ordered 3 of the same dishes with different spice levels: one not spicy, and two medium . When the waiter brought the dishes, he didn’t mention which was which. When we pointed it out, he claimed we had ordered “mild” and not “not spicy.” Then, possibly the manager came over, instead of apologizing for the situation (we had only asked which plate was the non-spicy one) , she said that “mild” just means slightly spicy and that you can simply remove the chili. Excellent service, as you can tell. On top of that, the service was slow, the food was terrible, and it took them 20 minutes just to pay. The entire staff was unprofessional.
