Fun, low key spot with great beers and very reasonable prices.
What a gem!!! Bridge and Tunnel brewery is the best hands down a must-visit establishment.
Nice atmosphere with awesome music and a great bartender name Kylie!
Great beers, lots of unique options, changing taps, and cheap pints!
Really diverse selection of great beers
Great place, super friendly staff. If you're in the neighborhood, you must go here
This is a hidden gem of a brewery. Great prices and great beers.
I love my cousin Richie and his family
The best craft beers and the best prices in NYC period.
Amazing brewery with a decent selection of beers.
Sweet spot. Nice beer and great feel
Always kind and professional. Rich and Lisa make everyone feel at home.
$8 flights! Super nice owner/ tender.
Solid neighborhood brewery. Great local vibe
Great brewery and even better comics.
Decent beer, but great humans!
Some of the finest beer you'll ever have
Good beer and nice atmosphere.
Unique beers just a great experience
It's a gem...just go, sit and conversate. Thanks Rich!
Great!
I cant wait to meet my future ex-wife there!
No frills, no BS... this is hands down some of the best beer in NYC. Been to just about every brewery there is to go in New York but a little adventure into Brooklyn for this place is beyond worth it.
I can't believe I have not rated this place. What an operation. The brewer/mad scientist repurposes old equip for use in the brewery... Just awesome! Unfortunately no pictures but they are active on Instagram, check them out.
Delightful and informative bartender, WIDE beer selection for a brewery (with some strange flavors to try). Only downside is that it's hot in there but who cares? Shut up, drink a beer, and play connect 4.
Decent place. Good music. Top marks to Mikey. Good barman. Best toilet in new york hands down
Head and shoulders above the rest in the area. Great beer ✅ Friendly staff and owners ✅ Great prices ✅ Been going for a few years and no plans of stopping.
Great section of craft original brews, and friendly to the punk rock crowd & their endeavors. 6 stars in my book.
Hidden gem -- but likely not for long. Super laid back and no pretenses. Very friendly. Oh and yeah, their brews are delicious.
awesome bar and great service !! shoutout our bartender nate
Very nice place and the beers were so good and they also have comedy witch it was so good I tell everyone this is the place to go 6 dollars a beer it's cheap and a very good place I do recommend this place enjoy everyone
Stumbled upon Bridge and Tunnel on a hot summer day. Lisa and Kylie were gracious hosts and made everyone feel right at home.
This is an awesome neighborhood spot. Micro Brew with great beer, dog friendly, you can bring/order food, and excellent service.
Unique spot & friendly. Some of the best beers I've had for just $5 a pint.
Have come here for a few comedy & trivia nights. Always a fun time to be had with some good beer choices.
Pro: Great owner with wild assortment of beers. I am curious to see what he will come up with next. Con: it is not closer to my house
Excellent beer, awesome decor and owners are Super nice my favorite brewery
Beer is amazing place is very comfortable service is great try the mango beer and coconut
Great brewery) stand up was awesome) beer was delicious! Highly recommend!
Great brews. Friendly staff. Outdoor seating! And it's in the neighborhood.
Very cozy and cute brewery with awesome beer! Worth the trek from central Brooklyn
Excellent beer selection and they're dog friendly too!!
Love the vibe. Diverse beer selection from a passionate brewer.
The prices are reasonable, with all 16 CBs available for $7 per pint or a flight of four for $14. The IPAs are excellent, but the dark beers are especially rich and impressive. The staff is friendly, and the indoor seating is comfortable. For safety, consider using a car service for your return trip after dark.
Family, friends, and loved ones, what’s missing? Beer. They have it completing everything that is needed in life. Awesome weirdly decorated brewery with lots of seating and good vibes. Pricing is great and the staff is super nice. Definitely worth visiting.
Absolute hidden gem. Great local haunt with some of the best craft beer in NY...seriously, they won best beer in New York State at the governor's cup. Just really friendly vibes and great beer. And bonus it's super affordable.
This neighborhood brewery is located near the L train on the boundary of Queens. It has a friendly bartender and friendly regulars. I ordered a flight and was impressed by the rich flavor of the beers without leaning too heavily in any particular direction. It's a bit out of the way but worth a visit.
Solid beer list, friendly service and insanely affordable. They make sure each beer is topped off to the brim and make sure you taste and like your beer before your pour. Funky eclectic decor, unsuspecting neighborhood. Definitely worth the trek out here.
Beer was good atmosphere was better. Dive bar feel. Conversation was excellent.
Cool venue. Shoutout Gorf and Spaz.
The best obscure brewery in NYC. The brews are consistently inventive, unique, well-crafted, and rich and tasty. The tasting room is an absolutely charming spot with a full circular bar and plenty of tables. Highest recommendation, absolutely worth the trip.
A great place to stop for a good brew. I was in the place 3 years ago and I promised to write a review and never did. I doublebacked on my promise and wrote one. Story is that a Wisconsinite was looking for a good beer place in NY. I stopped at Bridge and Tunnel to try them out. I sat at the bar as a stranger and immediately folks came up to me to ask how I was doing and where I was from. I told them WI and I got the treatment. I got gold status to drink from one of the owners brown mug and more friendly conversations of local places to eat something. I truly did not expect that respect and hospitality but this place was AWESOME for me and I followed up with my commitment because this place made a difference in my life. Non facebooker or instragramer. :)
An amazing place to visit for a really good craft beer and friendly conversation with the staff. The brewmaster has a passion for his work, which is evident in care given to the beer and the hospitality show to the patrons. Visiting this bar, with it's open brewery, gave me a deeper sense of appreciation for beer.
The ultimate New York brewery, born and raised. A true family brewery! Totally a DIY brewery. Its all about great beer and family here. Nothing pretentious or high brow. Just great beers with a great respect for the neighborhood that its brewed in.
This place is so legit. 10+ constantly rotating lines of great and interesting beer...vanilla porter, lemongrass IPA, etc, plus the classics. Cheap pints to stay, growlers to go. The front half is the bar, the back half is all brewing equipment, so you can see the magic in action. Don't expect any fancy bs, this is DIY done right.
Don't let the dark divey vibe and old school branding fool ya, BnT is as good a brewery as any out there. Tons of offerings on draft, and then some in cans. Support them!
winners of 2017 nyc beer week's top prize. great beers and that's the focus. funky industrial space with friendly people - and a focus on production. come check it out and see real deal micro/craft. these guys are living it.
Just an excellent local spot with a ton of unique beers. Worth supporting as a local spot, but beyond that has some great beers for great prices. If you're in the area, no brainer!
Great unique beers with some clean classics. The bartender was able to guide us based on our preferences and help us try something new as well! We were lucky to chat with the owner briefly and can tell he has a passion for what he does. The space is incredible with so much history. We had such a fun afternoon! It's absolutely worth a stop if you're in the area!
Unique atmosphere with true character. A garage feel great vibe and interesting ale selections. Live music at night and informal and relaxed outdoor sitting area
Cute place will very chill vibe, interesting beer and decor. We stopped after a visit to evil twin and this was quiet and had an interesting selection. I was told they root beer and after I ordered there want actually any in stock oh well he offered me water and a smile so while I was disappointed no biggie. Had games and cards and video machine. I would come again and I took a beer to go!
I have been wanting to come here for years. As a subway fan I really like the logo. I finally had a chance during a visit o NYC this month. The beer did not disappoint. The bartender, Tucker was great! Also has a chance to talk with the owner and head brewer, Rich. I really enjoyed the space. I left for dinner, but had to come back for one more beer before heading back to the hotel. I hope to return on my next trip to NY. In the meantime I am all decked out at home with B&TB merch....
Excellent brewery, in a much too small space for all the beers they have. Love the flights option to try more of their beers. The staff are friendly and will talk your ear off if you let them. Love that the entire space was furnished with reclaimed materials, mostly put together by the owner and his friends. Worth the visit.
Such a lovely place with surprisingly excellent music!
The Lobstah Saison is made with real lobsters so be careful if you're allergic to shellfish. The lobster flavor comes in the finish and paired well with the white cheddar chips. This is great place for the adventurous type. The Hefeweizen (I Volunteer to go to Mars) and the Amber Ale (Cement Loafers) were also good.
This place is awesome. Shout out to the owners, Lisa and Mark(?, sorry if I forgot your name. Lisa was manning the bar at the time). I like this place better than Evil Twin Brewery nearby, not because one is better than the other but because this place is a lot more chill and quieter so I was able to read a book, talk to Lisa and her husband for a bit and enjoy the scene. They are an awesome couple trying to include others in their passion for brewing. If you stop by, make time to talk to them, they have stories about the Bushwick/Ridgewood neighborhood. I will definitely make the walk down to have their brews anytime. They have games etc for a good time. Awesome place in general.
What a great place to watch stand-up comedy. I went on Sunday, April 16 and had a great time. Walked in during one of the more awkward comics, but everybody was still in good spirit and clapped. The beer here is really awesome and I would highly recommend it, though the repair was a little flat.
Large selection of beer covering many styles all well done. Friendly and knowledgeable bartender and customers. Fun atmosphere, good prices and flights available.
Amazing, friendly, local, neighborhood brewery. Very personable and relaxing. Great beers. Focus on ales. No lagers. Specialists in the darker ales and historic ales.
Small, intimate taproom with 14 rotating taps. There's always a wide variety of beer (styles), a kombucha, and a root beer - all brewed right next to you. If you're lucky (or plan your visit) you can have a chat with the brewmaster, or watch some stand-up comedy. The cherry on top I'd the retro arcade machine.
Perfect spot for hanging around and having some 🍻 . Wednesday nights are game nights, & stand up comedy shows Thursday’s, Saturdays and Sundays! 👏🏾

Great brewery, beer selection, and live music! All ages showsb
Very nice place ... great tasting beers
My partner and I had a great time at Bridge and Tunnel Brewery! The atmosphere is sick, and the beer selection was good. A special shoutout to our bartender Nate who provided excellent service during the show. He was friendly, attentive, and kept things running smoothly all night. Highly recommend both the brewery and Nate's fantastic service!!!!!
This is a good bar. My favorite thing about this bar is all of the beer. They have different kinds of beer. Some of it sweet. Some of it is sour. If I came back, I would order beer. The beer is served in glasses. My friend Mikey works here and he is cool. Even if he didn’t work here, I would probably order th beer. One time I drank the beer and I couldn’t help but go YOWOWOWOWOOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!

Great selection of beer.. nice laid back atmosphere
lovely micro brewery and fun place to hang
Great brews and even better prices! I suggest the Sewer Alligator! The atmosphere leans more toward comfy and relaxed than night life, night out, but it's still a great time no matter what!
Really good place, I’ve been to the other places in the area and this place by far is the best. Kevin the bartender was really, really good. I like IPAs so he as very helpful helping me choose ones I like. I will be definitely heading back soon. You should make a stop too and will be returning again like me. Update. Back again after almost a year. Came back during COVID-19 so I had to get some to go. I picked up a west coast sessions IPA. Went well with our takeout order at @TGiF you guys go good together. You Should get together after pandemic gets better. Sell some of your crafts there like some other breweries do.
Food: You can bring your own treats to pair with their beer. I recommend buying a pie down the block at Houdini Pizza Laboratory; they make delicious food fire pizzas. They also sell soft pretzels for $3 if you're looking for something lighter. Brew: This place is your definition for mom and pop shop. I love the craftsmanship the owner put into this place and of course his beer. In this garage/warehouse space he built the tables and chairs, recycled milk tanks to ferment the beers, and has everything set up in the back behind a low-key gate for you to see the magic happen. So rustic and DYI feel you got to appreciate what this place is doing for the craft beer movement. They have a great selection beers and 3 Kombucha options for their non-alcoholic guest. You can do flights, pints, and growlers here. All the beers were not heavy on the palate I feel they all range between 55 - 60 on the ABV scale. Bridge and Tunnel Brewery is a Queens based nano-scale micro-brewery, launched by brewer/proprietor: Rich Castagna. At the present time, the brewery is operating as a one-man brewing operation, with the help from Rich's wife Lisa with the various additional tasks necessary to keep a brewery afloat. Rich has been brewing for over 10 years, and enjoys brewing and drinking darker beers, and beers with a flavorful kick. So the current line leans toward beers that are colorful in the glass (as well as on the palate). Rich was born and raised in Western Queens, and spent most of his life in the New York area short of about 8 years living and traveling around the U.S. and overseas. Over the past 15 years, he's lived in the Ridgewood/Bushwick area, Long Island City, Astoria, and Maspeth. He has 3 kids, 3 cats, a dog, a fish, a large amount of brewing equipment, and a very patient wife. Since meeting bar owners, and discussing the brewery and beers, the question has been asked a handful of times about the name of the brewery itself. It's a great question. A blog post was set aside for an explanation - but to put it into a nut-shell: Bridge and Tunnel Brewery - because it's the bridges and tunnels that unite this city, not divide it.
This place reminds me of the microbreweries of the late 90's. Middle of the block deep inside Queens/Brooklyn border of Ridgewood & Bushwick. Small place with a few tables, Centapeed video game in front of the beer tanks. Connect 4 on each table and brewdog at the bar. A wide range of beer styles, fresh local pretzels for grub and 12 seats at the bar. The prices for 16 10, and 6 pints are as Crazy Eddy would say "are insane!!!!" Friendly affable British bartender makes this my new favorite spot. Cans growlers and apparel pos available too. Not far from Jackie Robinson Pkwy/Interborough.
a small, quirky place with a sense of humor. for example, i could not bring myself to try the cheekily named newton creek oyster stout. there's also all sorts of dive bar style decor: antlers, boxing belts, a colorful bar. there's plenty of board games, and the owners are very chatty and friendly , so you feel like you are at someone's backyard barbecue. the beers are well-executed, with lots of styles to pick from, and there's always about 12 taps, which is remarkable given the small brewing rig.
Small local bar with some great beer options. Attended the Last call comedy show. Super funny , comedians have potential, and with enough beer anything is funny.. What was most entertaining was when a drink heckler grabbed the mic and tried to lecture the bar about who knows what. The staff quickly booted the dude and made sure everything was cool to continue the jokes. Hilarious night. I'll definitely be back if not for jokes for the beer and board games.
The beer isn't that good. The flavors aren't very solid, could be better. The atmosphere and decor is really cool. It's a nice small cozy place. Nice service and a lot of beer choices.

I was actually quite surprised that I hadn't been here before as it is absolutely the vibe I am looking for in a weekend brewery. The space itself is intimate, fairly small but utilized well. Bench tables and bar seating with a TV, fake fireplace, and a throwback arcade game. The bartender was so friendly and welcoming. Dark but not in a pretentious way. When we went on a Saturday afternoon, it was essentially just us and a few isolated people at the bar. We played a board game we had brought and had a great time. The beers themselves were not my favorite. There is a good variety and the prices are super agreeable, but I wasn't really thrilled by any of the IPA choices specifically. Probably just me. My biggest gripe with the place, however, is the music. I appreciate that this is super dependent on who is working but for a darkly lit brewery, I wouldn't have chosen the classic/elevator/slow music that was playing overhead. Parking is super easy. Also, I am very curious in their connection to the leather making studio next door and would be interested in the pop-ups that happen here once monthly!

Evidently no longer open on Wednesdays. Change your hours on Google Maps (and elsewhere).
the staff of this establishment (the door person) for a live music event harassed my friend who I was with. He was following me and my friend around saying explicit things to them and harassing us. Passing all of this off as a joke. Do not spend your money here. Unsafe environment for LGBTQ people.
