I came across this place not only because of the cheap prices but because i havent tasted a good plate of rice and beans in a long time. I ordered and it came in 20 mins. The rice was good and filling and the beans were good as well. The tostones were tasty as well. The only issue that i had was that this place is spanish american but more leaning towards the american side. If they put it towards the middle where they have arroz con gandules on the menu or mangu chimis they would be unstoppable. But they were good def going back.

I've noticed a concerning inconsistency in the flavor every time I purchase their dishes. Like it could be very good some days but when you’re unlucky it’s trash. Idk I wish it was how it was. It's also frustrating that there's always new staff, making it hard to build any rapport. Seeing a B rating on the front was a bit of a red flag for me. It’s been a long time that I haven’t seen an A. Hoping for more stability and improvement in the future.

I loved this place and brought my partner here, who is trans, disabled, and has a service animal. They refused to service us, and when we refused to leave they kicked us out. So I guess it’s not safe for everyone. Shame, I really like their chicken soupy rice.

Food was cold, stain and difficult to finish. I’ve had Spanish food from around here and it’s usually good but this was a mess.. rice was hard and crunchy, chicken was cold. Everything was just bad. Not ordering from here again.

Super Loud Music = Not good. Chicken stew - bone fragments in every bite. smh Not good. Waitress = caught her rubbing her nose while she was polishing silverware at the bar. Oh that did it. I lost my appetite. She's lucky I tipped her well.

I have been buying food here for a while but after dining in and receiving hard rice and getting attitude to simply replace the plate? I won’t be coming here anymore. I kindly asked and showed the lady if I can get the plate remade because there was chunks of white rice that were hard, she stated “ the rest of the rice isn’t like that”…. this is extremely unprofessional and it seems they just let anyone serve food however they want because I know no one should serve food they wouldn’t eat. I told her food shouldn’t be served like that and she left. Eventually the cashier lady came and solved my issue quick with no problems or attitude. Edit: with given answer trust me I don’t need your charity of “ free food”. You also pay for good quality of food given.I also manage a restaurant and would never let my employees serve rice like this.EVER. Also, the plate wasn’t empty it was full of food still and you should have better people who know how to handle food work there. Not locals.

This restaurant you got 2 double check your order do your own math because sometimes they charge you more. I asked to speak with the owner and the lady says she was the owner‘s wife. There’s a person that always double charges you that answers the phone so you always gotta do your own calculation! And then you tried to correct them and they very rude about it They talk over you So if you go to eat here or if you order over the phone, do your own calculation.

Woah regular Fish was crazy salty. messed up to serve someone that. Trying to recall what have done to chef that he's trying to kill me. And like that cheap iodized stuff that contains chemical agents. And this is from someone who regularly enjoys salted beef and salted fish on menus. I would be scared to order here again.

The food was okay, this restaurant has a B rating, and they put it in the corner where you can see it as you are LEAVING the restaurant. But if you are coming in the restaurant, its hard to notice the rating sheet. Seems very deceptive to me.

My room mate ordered the rotisserie chicken, rice, and beans and had some leftovers she said I could have. I ate them 24 hours later and have been vomiting for the last 20 minutes. I will definitely never get food here.

I have ordered from this restaurant for months via seamless. I always order the same thing, family combo #1, which consists of a whole chicken, rice, beans, salad and a soda. This time I decided to order an extra beans and rice so that I could have some on the following day. My children ate the night it was ordered and when I went to eat it the following day for lunch around noon. I found multiple maggots in both beans. I was extremely disgusted and upset as my children already ate it and I had 1 bite before noticing. When I reported to seamless they called the restaurant and advised them and they stated they would not refund me. Which ultimately wasn’t even what I wanted. I just wanted them to rectify the situation. Seamless did in fact give me a credit on my account. If you chose to order be careful of what you eat. BTW. I have photos but can not upload them on here.
