Cool small intimate spot with good music. The hibiscus and guava margarita are both great. Cash only
Amazing on a Wednesday night. Live jazz electronic band and dj are 🔥
Top quality sound system, interesting music selection, and positive vibes amongst staff. Drinks are straightforward and well made.
A hidden gem. The best bar in Williamsburg for a drink, fun, and dancing.
Sick sound system, lovely staff, tons of Mezcal, well designed, and two separate rooms to relieve your bladder. They should let me DJ here. #dopejams
The DJs in this playlist play some of the best music you will ever hear in any bar or club anywhere. Don't waste your time going anywhere else 👌
A really nice little legal speakeasy! It was really interesting going into the refrigerator and seeing a bar! A really neat place to hang with friends.
DJ with Saxophon support and small area to dance. Low lights, good vibes, perfect for a date!
The best hi-fi soundsystem in town! Good vibes in this mini club!
Really good cocktails in a secret spot. The restaurant next door has a really good tacos it is a must go
cool spot with an intimate yet upbeat vibe; music selection was also very good!
Speakeasy from Williamsburg, classic here! Normally there is a cover and not much space. cash only!
Fantastic bar with great dj line-ups and top notch mezcal sour!
Cool speak easy spot ! The margaritas are delicious and the place is low key Love it !
Awesome hidden bar with excellent authentic Mexican food, great selection of Mexican beer and good quality Mezcal
Incredible place... Good selection of mezcals and great music... You better try to find it ;)
This is my favorite place to go dancing in New York
Everything's great come during happy hour between 4-7 and it's CASH ONLY!!!!!
Fun spot but they gotta upgrade the ventilation/AC.
Super fun spot great music and mezcal
The mezcals. Wow. The music. Wow
One of my favorite new spots in all of NYC.
great cocktails. try the mezcal mule!
Made a stop at the takeout window for a sandwich and smoothie, and they were both dynamite 🧨 Weekly special was prosciutto, pesto, burrata on a baguette and it was amazing. El Hefe smoothie was refreshing and fairly-priced! The gentleman gave me a burrata bite as well (pictured). Would recommend - cash only!
HIdden spot (look for the Laundromat sign) serving great cocktails in a very trendy space. Love the kitch of it and the wooden room is pretty impressive as well. Definitely check this place out if you're considering it.
My fave late night joint. Good to go dancing. That kind of speakeasy/club you can go to alone and just daaaaance ur lil heart out (and it wouldn’t be weird). Drinks are strong
Immaculate vibes. Smaller, intimate space. Extremely friendly staff. Incredibly talented musicians during Wednesday jazz nights. Decent selection of mezcal.
A bit of a wait at the door but it was worth it: Great electro DJ, strong drinks, small dancing room with a convivial feel
Had the guava margarita with mezcal and the mezcal mule. Both were balanced, not overly sweet, strong and delicious. Honestly loved them. This is a thank you to the staff though... I was with my girlfriend and we noticed a couple of guys unapologetically staring us down and ogling while we talked in the corner. Eventually one guy went a little too far and and I asked him to please move (he was facing us drinking his beer and staring with a smirk on his face), he refused to move so I flipped him off and he went straight to saying the most disgusting sexual comments about lesbians and I lost my cool and pushed him back. Before I knew it, the barback and bartender came out from behind the bar and diffused the situation. The barback asked if we were leaving and I said yes, and he offered to escort us out so that we would feel safe. The bartender apologized on their behalf and he didn't have to. Although this has never happened to me in a crowded bar, I'm grateful that the staff made us feel immediately safe. Seriously, you guys are badasses. Thank you, and I'm sorry if we caused any trouble. We just wanted a drink.
I loved this place! I’m wondering if you guys have any IG? And could be great if you can share an electro playlist?
Really cool vibe, definitely not what I was expecting. Showed up on a Friday night around 11 and thought it would be more of a chilled out speakeasy, but it was lowlights and a DJ spinning solid house music. Really fun atmosphere, would definitely come back for a big night out. Decent, but small, list of tequila and mezcal cocktails.
Small space but had a cozy intimate feel. Fun place but you can still easily carry on a conversation with whoever you're speaking with. Dim lighting, no food but it's Williamsburg, you can get food anywhere else haha. They were playing really unique music which I loved. Drinks definitely had a kick and super reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend!
Perfect late night mezcal speakeasy featuring live jazz bands and Italo disco / synth pop / dark wave focused in the know DJ entertainment. The vibe is chill and the crowd is cool. The space is crowded and hot. McIntosh sound system for the audiophiles. This bar is strictly Cash only! The bar only serves mezcal and tequila. (But there's a keg for water if you're thirsty.)
Oh, how fun. The entrance to the bar is thru a laundry or perhaps a bodega. Once inside, the music and atmosphere are encompassing. It's small but cozy and worth the search!
Hidden behind a bodega's freezer door, La Milagrosa in Williamsburg is a small-scale miracle for mezcal lovers. This speakeasy isn't about glitz, it’s about good taste and great ambiance. The space is wonderfully intimate, decked out in warm wood and the soft glow of a disco ball and Virgin of Guadalupe candles, creating a vibe that is simultaneously cool, cozy, and transcendent. While the ambiente is top-tier, the Guayaba Mezcal Margarita is the true star. It’s easily a top-five cocktail in the neighborhood, perfectly balancing the smoky complexity of high-quality mezcal with the lush, tropical sweetness of guava. It’s an innovative drink that never sacrifices the spirit’s integrity. Paired with the curated vinyl soundtrack—a mix of old-school funk and global grooves—it’s the perfect elixir for a night of low-key revelry. La Milagrosa is a must-visit for anyone seeking small, good vibes and a truly exceptional agave cocktail.
Best Brooklyn has to offer, hidden gem with amazing music and friendly crowd.

Hands down one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. Ive been 6-7 times at this point and tried something different every time and not once have I been disappointed. The serving sizes of some of the dishes could be slightly larger but the quality and flavor is amazing. Really friendly and knowledgeable staff and great music creating a great atmosphere.
Great sound system. Proper drinks, if Mescal and tequila are your jam- that is way to go. I always went next store for food, as well as Superio, and decided to pop in. Turns out its cool lol. No real surprise. Just know it will be packed and there will be people from other parts of the world at times, which I think is a plus. If younare a person who doesn't like mingling and getting to know others, go somewhere without good music and pretty people. A dive bar- this is NOT
Under the radar speakeasylike mezcalaria hidden behind a bodega like storefront has some of the best music and mezcal in Williamsburg. The space is very small and intimate with an incredible Macintosh tube powered sound system and often features some of the best musicians in NYC. Check out Wednesday evenings for live jazz music that is on the next level.
Best queso fundido I’ve ever had in my entire life. Yum!!!
Cool little cash only speakeasy. The DJ was great. Would recommend coming here for the DJs. It was vibey for sure with the fog machine.
Chill vibes and great music! It gets a bit crowded on weekends which is annoying, but they have decibel readers scattered throughout which helps keep the music not too loud. It's very nice to be able to dance and talk to people!
Such a fun spot! Looks like a ski chalet with disco vibes - lots of colored lights and smoke. Great music, decent cocktails - cash only
La Milagrosa exceeded my expectations with its delicious tacos and impressive selection of tequila. The flavors were exceptional and left me craving more. What truly made the experience memorable was the impeccable service provided by the bartender. Their attentiveness and skill enhanced the overall enjoyment of the visit. I would gladly return to La Milagrosa any day for another round of tequila and tacos.
Cool electro music but space is super small. Anyways, the bartender was friendly and mezcal negroni was great.
It’s a tiny little spot but its hands down one of my favorite speakeasies in NYC! I’m a tequila fan so for me the drinks are all amazing but I recommend the guava margarita. Its super chill on weekdays so it’s perfect for like a first date. It does get super busy on Friday nights but if you’re into oldies like Lee Moses it’s an amazing place to go dancing with a group of friends! I guess the only downside is that it’s cash only!

El lugar está muy cool at Pasar un rato con tus amigos, sin embargo los precios de las bebidas me parecen un poco altoa
Genial la camarera muy amable y la comida muy rica 💕
Make sure to call ahead for a reservation, and note that it's cash only. Bartender was super friendly and attentive, made for a great first date.
Great vibe, great mezcal offerings. Not a place to go if you don't know anything about mezcal. I was disappointed that the staff was not educated and haven't been to Oaxaca to witness the production. To drink mezcal responsible requires education.
If you’re looking for a cozy intimate spot, this is your place. I liked the set up of this place. Walking through the store front to get to the back. This place is very small, not good for a big group of people. I was here on a Saturday night and it was completely packed. The music was outstanding and not your typical willy-B bar. I had the guayaba margarita with mezcal, it was great. I did find the drinks to be pretty small and used with a lot of ice. Average priced drinks. This place is cash only though!! Wish i knew before coming!
Cool speakeasy spot but If you don’t like mezcal/ tequila, maybe won’t be your fave. It was empty with no DJ when I went but I hear it gets crowded and has good music
A tad pricey, but! It’s an inclusive and respectful crowd every time and the djs have also been wonderful. The bass is what unites the limited capacity room amidst a thick fog-machine haze. Check it out
Mexican vibe going on. Love the fact it is totally a speakeasy as they kept the laundry mat signage and you have to see the girl inside to be able to through the door to enter the bar. It is kind of loud inside so don't expect to whisper sweet nothings.

Good tacos.
The drinks are good (go for the guava margarita), but the interior ambience leaves a lot to be desired. If you're trying to impress a date, go elsewhere. Many people make a big deal about the sound system, but honestly that has a negligible effect in a tiny place like this where people are going to chat more than they are going to dance. It's probably a good idea to call ahead and make a reservation. Also, they didn't actually serve ceviche here (it's next door). I'd give this place a 4-star if they did.
Place is cool and nice vibes. Went on a Thursday night around 10 pm and it was a bit empty (also a strange crowd). However, I feel like this place has a lot of potential. Really cool place for just chill, intimate drinks. Cool date spot too. Only had a beer so can’t comment on the drinks. Cash only FYI!
Tacos on point, service on point. Enchiladas were lackluster - boiled chicken (unseasoned) rolled in corn tortillas thrown in an oven with some sauce.... Meh. had to smother it in salsas to give it some life. I'd go back for drinks and tacos though.
$10 cover but no soap or toilet paper in the bathroom. I guess that cash goes to the electricity bill their three aircons and fog machine rack up. Music was good.

So disappointed. My drink was not bad but service was unfortunately exactly what you might expect in Williamsburg, unfriendly and even rude. For us this isn’t acceptable, I won’t come back. They DO NOT have ceviche or a menu, contrary to what their description says. I should also note that we were basically scolded for not making a reservation even though we arrived at 7pm (when they open) No one else was there for the most of our stay.
Stopped in with friends for some drinks and the male bartender’s attitude completely killed the vibe. Was unfriendly and made the experience unpleasant. Wouldn’t return!
Horrible drinks, horrible customer service. Didn’t even drink our cocktails.
The host was rude and seemed quite messy.
The place seemed closed or at least closed on a random Thursday night, like tonight 8/18/22. Was really looking forward to celebrating a special birthday but upon pulling up the security was down. Wish they would have updated their Google business profile to reflect this.
I did not have a good time, music was not good. Lady in front did not have a good attitude to criticism about the music. If I’m paying money I get to have an opinion.
They have this place called Cervecería Havemeyer and they have the worst customer service, rude waitresses and if you don’t are aware of your ticket they charged you with stuff you didn’t consumed. Also, they told you that they doesn’t accept any other payment besides cash… definitely not recommended it to anyone, specially tourists. In addition, Mezcaleria doesn’t want to be responsible for anything happening in this other place related to their business.
super rude male bartender - as we were counting cash for tip ~1 min after we paid, he said “the tip is not included in the price. 20% is acceptable”. Also menu linked here on Google is incorrect FYI drinks are much more expensive + drinks were not strong at all + it was absolutely empty at 10pm on a Saturday. avoid!!
Cool enough spot but the woman working the front was INCREDIBLY rude, and for no clear reason. I empathize with her for the pent up anger she clearly carries, but she shouldn’t be taking it out on the customers. She wouldn’t give it up either and took her sweet time ranting at me about how “the neighborhood has changed and it’s because people are on their phones.” I literally only asked her how much cover was for 3 people and she blew up because I “didn’t ask her how her night was going first.” She also asked me if I was from NYC or not and proceeded to chastise me for not being born here.
This is a review for the club. The food and service in the restaraunt were great. We went in early on a Friday night and asked if they play Latin American music given the Mexican food and drink theme. The lady told us the dj is great and plays all kind of music. We each pay 15 for entry, 45 in total. We proceed to hear techno back to back for an hour. We decide to buy drinks and the bartender gives us flack for a low tip. Stepped in for an hour lost 100 bucks and got guilt-tripped after already spending a good amount at the adjacent food space. The bar is tiny and the entry charge is a little high but the Williamsburg crowd liked it somehow as it was getting packed
