Food was amazing, taste was on point and service was prompt. I was in the neighborhood and needed something to eat and quickly found Mitchell's kitchen, although the entrance looks small, mighty flavors are made inside, finally a jamaican restaurant that lives up to its name! Food was fresh and the server was very friendly. If you're in the area craving some jerk chicken or jamaican treat, definitely go here!!! Will be coming back for more.

As an Indian, the goat roti here reminds me so much of home! The curry is perfectly spiced and the roti is filled with besan flour which gives it an amazing flavour! Highly, highly recommend 👌

This place is really good. Prices are average and plate sizes are large. Food is authentic Jamaican. Pretty much take out only, only 2-3 places to sit which are outside.

I've eaten a lot of Jamaican food that claims to be authentic. Mitchell's is the first and only to come pretty dang close to my mother's cooking. Will definitely be going back.

Maybe small and low key, but all of that dont matter...ITS THE COOK THAT COUNTS! This is one of Bedstuys hidden GEMS! Great food, good price, and friendly staff. IMO, best west indian spot on this side of Bedstuy.

Authentic Jamaican Cusine. All the jamaican favorites: Oxtail Jerk/Stewed/Curry/Fried Chicken etc. No mystery pricing here!!! Very pleasant owner and cook I ordered a side of plantains a nice sweet treat after the oxtail dinner sort of like dessert...

Oh this is definitely one of the "don't judge a book by its cover" place!!! The food was absolutely delicious, I had the small jersey chicken meal and let me tell you it was filling. Flavors just bursting in my mouth, wish I had found this place sooner, service was nice, different from what you're used to when you walk into a typical jamaican restaurant. Will definitely be coming back for more, if you're in the area, looking for some authentic jamaican cuisine, this is the place!!! Look past the door and entrance and just get you some of that deliciousness inside!!!

Wife ate this food consistently while pregnant with first daughter. One of the reasons my seed flavors everything with pepper. You can't go wrong here. Hole in the wall, but great food and price.

Mitchell has the best oxtail at a competitive price in Brooklyn, the meals are not oily, but well cooked. Soups are ok.

Not the finest spot I'd say for jamaican food. I bought 3 plates. 1. The jerk sauce on the jerk chicken had soo much vinegar in it it tasted like the escovish fish sauce. 2. The curried goat wasn't as flavorful, but it was soft. 3. The stew chicken was regular its hard to mess that up.

Good for a small, cheap place. My goat was 50% bone. But the goat was tasty. Some tables to eat outside.
