Ten has been a neighborhood staple for many years and a frequent favorite of mine and my husband’s either for take out or dine in. As of late October 2025 Ten has reopened during lunch and is offering a classic Japanese lunch menu of bento box favorites and more traditional dishes that are also available during dinner service. As two WFH parents we’re excited to add another restaurant to our rotation of lunch date options.
Had a fun time with Dan, Susannah, Ellie, Sasha, and - for the latter half - Rosie ! I also loved that hunk of yellowtail scallion stuffed to the edges of the hand roll. Not tentative to give a ten out of ten at ten !
Extremely love this neighborhood sushi place. Staff are friendly and they pretty much can custom to your dietary needs. They give discount for cash payment, so remember to bring some 💸 They have this special roll called the "caliente Toro roll," I am obsessed with it. Do go check them out!
Best affordable sushi gem in the area! Food was great. Loved that it did not hurt my wallet. Walked out the restaurant feeling full and happy. Definitely recommend this place. P.S. (They give 10% off for cash payment. You save quite a lot) :)
Best sushi in the neighborhood. So fresh and the prices are reasonable. I recommend getting the hibachi chicken along with your sushi of choice. YUM! I have done pick up only never eaten in. Food is always ready on time and the staff is very friendly.
Great sushi 🍣. We drive from Bay Ridge for their sushi. But the real reason we go is the service. We get treated like friends. Love this place
This is by far our favorite takeout sushi in the area! My favorite is the mini tent roll, and my husband gets the sushi trio. Everything is always amazing, and the delivery guys are very nice.
Went with my kid for the first time. It was also her first time having actual sushi and not just avocado rolls. Here we had : the seaweed salad & calamari My little girl got the rainbow roll My partner got the Volcano roll I had the beautiful Christmas Tree. (My favorite!) For dessert we had the Green tea ice cream.
GOOD SUSHI FOR DINNER 🇯🇵 We’ve been here many times and most of the nearby sushi restaurants are good for take out.. but TEN has good food and good vibes for a dinner date. I had a dirty martini 🍸 (appreciate the extra olives) and had the sushi / sashimi diner. Also ordered uni as the special of the day. Definitely nicer than most sushi spots in the area at night. Would definitely feel weird to eat here alone as opposed to another place that’s quieter (ie Kiku or Sushi Yu)… TEN feels more social and a good option for a party of 2-4. Food is excellent. Drinks are excellent. 👍🏼👍🏼
Sushi was SO good and it was presented with such thought. Great service. They even pack your leftovers for you. 10/10. The sea breeze roll hits.
I had such an amazing experience! Not only was the food amazing, but they gave us free tempura and desert on the house!! The fried ice cream was soooooo goood. Definitely come back again!
Amazing food, fresh ingredients, and their special Butterfly roll was so savory. That mango sauce was to die for. Can't wait to come back!
Nice, dimly lit dining room. 40 seats inside and maybe about 14 or so outdoors seats. Great food, quick, attentive service. I enjoyed miso soup, green tea, warm mushroom salad, and some rolls. Everything was delicious.
Delightfully creative and reasonably priced sushi-fusion restaurant. We tried the warm wild mushroom salad to start, followed by a trio of rolls: Rainbow, Seared Salmon Avocado, and Shrimp Tempura. Each had excellent quality, fresh ingredients, and had elements that provided distinct contrasts. I definitely recommend Ten Japanese Cuisine and will be coming back!
Delicious sushi, very reasonably priced, great service- they even brought us warm towelettes to clean our hands which was a very nice touch
We stopped in here recently and had a great time. We started with the gyoza, tempura string beans, and the edamame. We ordered the shrimp tempura for our daughter. It came with 4 pieces and came out very hot. Our daughter found that out the hard way on the first bite. The yellowtail scallion, peanut avocado, rock shrimp avocado, and the mini tent rolls were excellent. Almost everything we ordered was delicious. Our service was great and we will definitely be back again soon.
Best sushi in the area but it took 20 minutes for our food. Also, we ordered a miso soup which did not come but showed up on our bill (we were able to get it taken off though).
A solid Sushi restaurant in the area. The staff were extremely great, helpful, and attentive. The sushi roll I ordered was much larger than I anticipated. The Kani salad is one of my favorite things to eat at sushi restaurants and they made a pretty well balanced one. My only issue was the Chicken Katsu was a little off for me. It was a bit dry and tasteless. Overall, food was good and service was good. Definitely recommend
This restaurant do not know how to work because I sell for a horden and it was already taken by another delivrista and I well to ask the horden what is no longer and I as boy to be if I can not cancel the horden this restaurant do not take work and do not clean things well ay to keep clean every thing they use I do not recommend
I know this is a sushi place, but ordered yakisoba noodles just because. They are inedible... it is better not to offer stuff like this if you are not willing to put in the effort to make it edible.. especially for almost $20. I dare any of the employees to try and eat this..
