I never review restaurants, but this place is incredible. We walked in, asked for a table, and they brought us bread and salad without our even asking. We had no idea what to get, so they said that they would make us some things that we would like, and they were not kidding. The food was incredible. I think what we had was plov and perojki (???) and some kind of kebab, plus incredible ripe fruit to close out the meal. The atmosphere does feel different from standard American dining, a bit slower paced, but in the most delightful way. We will 100% be returning.
Alhamdulillah my dear brother that you have ( serve) Halal the best and delicious food. Ma Sha Allah everything you serve delicious. And also delivery’s so quick. Jazzakum Allahu khairan. May Allah give you barah to your business Ameen
“The dish I liked most from their restaurant was plov because they prepare it just like the plov served at weddings. It requires a lot of effort, which makes it incredibly delicious. I highly recommend trying their plov!”
The food is very delicious. I had it delivered to my job. But they didn't put a spoon and fork🤣
I had their from delivery today and it was great. Highly recommended for meat lovers!
Our family likes this place. Good atmosphere. High quality of services. Delicious foods. I alsi give 5 stars to Asad's services. Highly recommend for everyone
Nice and clean food. Very friendly staff would definitely recommend and come back Bread was very nice and fresh but bit smaller in size than anticipated. Peach tea was delicious
Little expensive than other places in neighborhood But 5 Star for Uzbek Beef Pulao
One of the most authentic plov experiences in New York. Amazing food. I’ve been there twice and expect to go again. Worth a trek if you don’t live nearby.
Best Uzbek restaurant I have ever been. Restaurant is small and basic seating arrangements but food is top notch. A MUSt try place.
Delicious plov, Nice atmosphere.
Just ordered for pickup Plov, food portion was large plus they have combo included in price like tasty bread, fresh salad and can of soda . Overal A+++ . Thank you guys🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻👍
Exceptional service and delicious food. Definitely recommend 10/10!
Good food. Good prices. Everything tastes fresh and very satisfying!
Good place. I usually dine in there with friends. But first time decided to order a delivery they gave me extra soft drink and bread on the side. Medovik is the best dessert they have.
You must drink ayran and boiled apricot juice You must try somsa but be careful, don't take big bite while hot. It may look warm but hot inside Also try rulet shashlik The king of all is osh. They run out fast Disregard all the negative reviews from Russian sounding names. They're just jealous and salty.
The food is excellent. I got the plov, manti, red soup and bread. Can’t wait to go back and try more things! The desserts looked great.
This trendy spot serves up a remarkable dining experience with its Asian Uzbek/Tajik cuisine. Every dish, from the delicious PLOV and Samsa to the flavorful kebabs, is packed with taste. The welcoming staff enhances the atmosphere, making it a perfect venue for gatherings, especially with its reasonable pricing.
We really enjoy this spot as a family. The restaurant is very hygienic and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend mantı and grill options.
The food is fantastic and the shop is run by nice people. Most places that open 24hrs don’t have good food, this place is an exception.
I was invited there with many others by a very close brother, their food was surprising and amazing, very recommended, and I am picky when it comes to to kebab because I am Yemenis I like Yemeni than those who eats kebab, I’ve tried Syrians and Turkish kebab and others like Indians, this was one of the best if not the best places such like this food in NY
Brand new halal authentic restaurant, very clean (!) with friendly stuff. We were served by the owner, I can tell how he loves the place and takes care of that. Like the spacious room downstairs, very bright and cozy. I really recommend it to try the Uzbek good and feel cozy like at home.
The most delicious and authentic food you can find in NYC. Everything is cooked to perfection. I saw one person’s misinformed opinion below about the plov having reused oil and giving him problems. KNOW YOUR FACTS! The oil used in the plov is the keto friendly flax seed oil that is good for your body, yes it looks dark and thick but it is not your vegetable oil. Overall, I do delivery every time I have company over or want to treat my family.
I ordered Osh Palov and Chalop, the food arrived warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious! To my surprise, they also included salad, bread, and a soda, even though I didn’t order them. Great service and generous portions. Highly recommend! Thank you☺️
Wow. What a meal. We ordered a chicken skewer, beef lula skewer, kapriz salad, and the beef kurutob. We Loved the skewers and kurutob! The meat/chicken skewers were juicy, tender, and flavorful (without the meat-y taste). As somewhat newbies to Uzbek food, the kurutob blew us away - layered beef over salad over yogurt over bread - was not something we knew we needed in life. It’s delicious bowl of comfort without the heavy-feel aftermath. We needed to flag down the waitstaff but they were friendly and the food came fast (it was rather empty when we went late on a Fri night). Would highly recommend!
Great food. It's a hole in the wall but very friendly.
All the food so straight and employees are so professional nice conversation very nice peoples and cheap prices thank u so much and also 24/7
Really fair prices and nice people. Gorgeous banquet hall at the back. A few veg options on the menu like salad and charred/grilled veggies like mushroom, squash and more. All food is fresh and wholesome. They might benefit from adding a few vegan dishes on the menu such as the bread and some easy dips. Also a super flatbread and thin pita might be an amazing addition to the already delicious grilled vegetables being served so that way it feels like Uzbekistan food and not just grilled veggies. Overall amazing to see local cuisine thrive without being overpriced and pretentious.
I love Uzbek cuisine. I have been to many Uzkek restraunts. This place is 24hrs and a small restraunt. You would think it maybe a fast food gig. But you are wrong!!!!! We arrived at 1130pm. We we're greeted. The waiter recommended a few dishes. I don't usually go with recommendations.... but we did. The food was super high quality.... tasty..... amazing..... cooked to order. This place makes capital grill look like McDonalds.... Yes... this is one of the best restraunts I have ever been to. Loved it!
Food delicious, people are friendly, everything clean,my favourite place to visit time to time. Best cuisine in the world. 10out10. Try Laghman
Yesterday afternoon, I brought my guests from Michigan to try their Qurutob, and it was absolutely delicious! This dish is a must-try for anyone looking to explore a unique and flavorful new taste—perfect for a once-in-a-week or monthly treat. Special mention to the waiter who wore a cap—his service was top-notch and added to the experience. Amazingly served 👍 and Highly recommended for both the food and the hospitality!
Before I start, let me mention that I am an Uzbek and spent my first 20 years of life in Uzbekistan. I have been to several Uzbek places in NYC, but visiting this place made me feel I was teleported back home! Food was very delicious and authentic! First of all, the plov is 10/10. The meat was melting in my mouth and rice was so flavorful! I am surprised how they managed it here in USA considering how different is the quality of ingredients. I also tried their manti which were mouthwatering! Yes, their waiters may not speak great English, but that usually hints on the authenticity of the place which I can confirm. Just be a bit patient considering the waiters are helpful and very respectful. Every little details of the restaurant is just like how restaurants of this type are back home so if you are looking to try real authentic Uzbek cuisine, this is your go-to spot for sure! PS. prices are very affordable for the amount of food you are getting.
An excellent Eastern restaurant in New York! The food is delicious, everything is fresh and tastes just like home. The service is top-notch, and the manager Jeff is simply amazing! He came to our table several times to check if everything was fine and created a very warm atmosphere. Thanks to him and the whole team, we felt like we were back home even though we’re far away from our homeland. We’ll definitely come again!
Food was great and seemed very authentic, but waiter with poor English + misleading menu led to a misunderstanding about the bill. They were so-so reasonable about compromising on the bill. Great place to eat if you speak Russian/Uzbek.
The food is very good. The service is veryyyy slow.
Food was solid. Wasn't my favorite plov and I think there's better plov in the area and certainly in Brooklyn. Pelmeni was good though and the mantis were excellent. I was just slightly annoyed because I tried to call ahead with a takeout order, but was told I didn't have to order ahead and it would be ready quickly if I just ordered in person. But when I did that, I ended up having to wait 30+ minutes anyway. So clearly it was not ready to go.
Whoever knows Uzbek plov will say the same thing: it’s good, but not the best
Amazing food - Manti and To'y Kebab were highlights. Plov was really good too but. Everything was perfectly cooked especially the meats. VERY relaxed vibe, service was friendly, borderline apathetic (it's fine). They were out of Lagman noodles and dessert but just means I gotta come back!
We came specifically for the qurutob and it was excellent—authentic, flavorful, and well presented. The staff were polite and pleasant, but not very attentive: there was no one to greet walk-in guests or take orders, and we had to look for someone to place ours. Unfortunately, as is common in many Uzbek restaurants, the seating arrangement and overall atmosphere are uncomfortable and poorly organized. In addition, hygiene standards appeared lacking, which further detracted from the dining experience. Excellent food, but service management, cleanliness, and ambiance need serious improvement. I hope one day well pass the level of Greecy Spoon Dump to something more civilized that everyone would feel comfortable to come in and enjoy delicious food.
Most of the servers were good but we got the one who didn't want to work he never came back after serving us wearing flip flops and a dirty tee shirt and the other server had to remind him while he was on his phone just standing around . He literally NEVER came back the person at the cashier had to apologize to us. We could have left without paying and he would have never known . But we paid and left . Next time I will order delivery instead of dining in.
Place is clean but they don't even have a basic menu anywhere. Very poor English. Food was ok. A little too bland for my taste. I like that they support the masjid and have practicing brothers visiting. Plov can be much better w/o excess oil and some spice sauce. Shurpa was good but can use some more flavor.
Very bad service. Food not bad.
This is the first restaurant I have ever tried the Uzbeki cuisine. At first we used to love it here, the employees here doesn’t know bare minimum English to make a little conversation on what I want or not. But it was okay, food was really good. And the restaurant is not too old. They are kinda new. And to be absolutely honest I don’t know how much money I have spent here, should be nearly a $1000. I dont even have the track of how many times I have been here since I discovered this restaurant. At the beginning the quantity was great. Always felt like value for money. But recently, my last 3 visits, I have noticed something changed, their food portions are significantly lower than it used to be. And at this point I’m not bluffing. See the photos yourself. Roulette kebab used to come in 4(check the menu) but they served 3, I asked they said it’s bigger in size thats why 3. But I have already stated above that I have spent nearly $1000 here and I have tried all of their dishes in the menu. Well then they changed it to 4 count now and they were smaller. So this is where the disappointment comes. It’s like the proverb, “you die as a hero or live long enough to see yourself becoming the villain.” I used to love coming here and their food. But they are doing this with every other dishes. Which opposes my initial impression “value for money”. It’s not that anymore. Maybe I will not eat here.
Tbh, I loved their pilaf for long time for lunch. Now I heard they make pilaf in the evening too, So I went to there around 6-7pm and I made a specific requirement regarding what I wanted. They gave me the opposite of what I asked! The pilaf was bland and dry: rice bland, carrots not cooked throughout, meat very hard and bland. I have never cooked pilaf, but if I did, that would probably be better than what I got. While there are too many alternative restaurants to get pilaf for lunch, this place is the only one to get it for dinner. No wonder my friends wouldn’t go there for pilaf for dinner. Very disappointed…
The guy said at the counter 1 portion of plov 13 dollars, then I ordered 2.5 portions for to go. And he added 2 small bread which I didn’t ask for it. I don’t know how much was it. I was excited to be charged for 32.5 dollars for 2.5 portions but they changed me for 59.85 dollars and with that he didn’t have me any receipt. They scammed me 😡😡
Scammers! I ordered pilaf only , it came small salad, taste was okay but they put full of fat of the meat! They charged me $20 I asked why cos on the menu pilaf was 12.99 they said because of the salad total 20. It’s okay but I will never come again !
Go to Tashkent supermarket.. Better. Cheaper. Everything is packaged better. No one forgets about you like they do here.
Osh Vapshi sabzisi yuq Osh palav. Sabzisiz osh yeganmisiz men bugun yedim. 😂 Osh palavni Sabzi qiladimi. Ertalabki oshni abedga Isitib beradi The food was old when we go to lunch they just warm the food from container to plate 🍽️ just add and served to you . I know plov postu with caret but just add few and service to you . Worst plov I ever try my life.
I went there for the 1st time and had a worst experience of life. Very cold food, hard meat, undercooked rice, bad taste. Even animals won't eat that food. Never again.
Me and My friend was discriminated at this restaurant. Just because she is a woman they told her to seat and eat at the basement , this is insane case in 21 century in America. Unbelievable! Do not recommend this place , respect yourself and do not spend your money there!
I placed an order for delivery from this place. It took more then 30 minutes to prepared. Then they just canceled my order saying they are out of stock. Then why are you keeping me waiting for 30 minutes.
I'm sorry for wasting my time visiting this restaurant... 😬 because I didn't even have time to try my food;, it went awful because of the dirty presentation🥵
Don’t go there guys that place is really nasty I seen a mouse in there
No responsibility, no respect. Bad service
disgusting service!!!!! I waited 30 minutes for my food, after which this idiot waiter said that they couldn’t prepare it!!!!! restaurant located in new york and don't nobody know english LOL!!!
I don’t want to criticize this place, but the service is really bad. If we order three salads, they bring five. If we ask for one plate of plov, they bring either two or three. Even if we order multiple plates of plov, they serve everything on one big platter. Honestly, we don’t even know how to order plov here anymore. No matter how many plates of plov we order, they always bring the same amount. We used to come here every day, but we won’t be coming anymore. We know that our absence won’t affect this place, but it’s disappointing that they don’t consider customers’ opinions. Maybe someone should remind them that this is the 21st century!
I had one of the worst dining experiences at this place due to their atrocious service. From the moment we arrived, we were ignored at the entrance for nearly 15 minutes while staff walked past us without acknowledgment. Once seated, it took another 20 minutes just to place a drink order, and our server was inattentive and unfriendly. When our food finally arrived after an absurdly long wait, half of the order was wrong, and instead of apologizing or fixing it, the server rudely dismissed our concerns. To make matters worse, we had to repeatedly ask for basic things like water refills and napkins, which took forever to arrive. By the end of the meal, no one checked on us, and we had to hunt down a staff member just to get the bill. Absolutely unacceptable service—I will never return
They have zero service, no attitude, they don't know how many things they brought to the table, they just counted them as extras!
Never will advise you to make your wedding or another important celebration over there, you will be agreed upon lower price and best food service but unfortunately you will get unsatisfied for real. And you will be charged for higher prices. AC was out of service, can you imagine in summer hot days. During the party they suddenly will change they menu, which you didn't order at all. All hot dishes arrived cool. Think before you go there. Try to find the best places. Thanks.
I ordered an Uber order and when I arrived at the restaurant, they didn't give me anything from the order and told me that the food had run out. It's a half-hour drive away.
My family got fish as take out unfortunately it was not fresh, had a weird smell, lots of fat and was uncooked. Furthermore they gave us the tail of the fish. I would recommend saving your money and getting something better.
Ordered plov. They didn't have anymore, so instead of letting me know and cancelling the order. They just gave me random stuff instead. Logic doesn't make sense. And then when I called about it, they said give me 1 min and then just ended the call.
Tushunarsiz service. Bittasi delivery bor deb 10 minute zakaz uchun kuttirdi, ikkinchisi chiqib zakaz olib keyin delivery yuq deydi. 1-marta kirdim, boshqa kirmaydigan buldim. Incomprehensible service. One said there was delivery and made me wait 10 minutes for an order, the second came out to take the order and then said there was no delivery. I went in the first time and I never went in again.
I had a very unpleasant experience at this café. The manager and the cashier were extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of being polite and helpful, they spoke to me with disrespect. I was very disappointed with the service and will definitely not come back.👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
I just ordered pelmeni and was sow disappointed.. no sour cream no any sause. Why you serving like this? You have very good reputation. Why you trying to destroy that? I ordering from you many years. Please fix it
Absolutely disgusting! It looks like they haven’t cleaned for days — sticky tables, dirty floors, trash everywhere. Completely unsanitary conditions. I’m surprised this restaurant is even allowed to operate.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. When I sat down and asked for vinegar, I was horrified to find it filled with flies! This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of cleanliness. It makes me question the overall hygiene of the place. I will not be returning, and I would advise others to think twice before dining here if they care about food safety. Absolutely disgusting!"
I usually don’t write negative reviews because I understand that mistakes can happen anywhere. However, I’ve been to this restaurant four times, and every single visit had issues. Something was always missing from the order, they made mistakes, the wait time was very long, and the communication was rude and unprofessional. I didn’t leave a review the first three times because I hoped things would improve. Unfortunately, they didn’t. Service: If it were possible to give 0 stars for service, I would. The cashiers and servers behave in a very unprofessional way. They speak rudely and don’t seem to know how to communicate properly with customers. The staff talk loudly among themselves in the dining area. There is a clear lack of respect and basic customer service standards. On my last visit, I ordered pickup through DoorDash. The estimated wait time was about 30 minutes. I arrived after 40 minutes to pick up my order and told them I was there for pickup. They looked at each other and didn’t even understand which order I was talking about. After checking, they saw that I had ordered through DoorDash and told me to wait another 10 minutes because they would start preparing it. In the end, they still didn’t prepare the order correctly. I waited inside for another 20 minutes. That was the fourth time I left this place frustrated, and this time I decided to finally write a review. Food: It’s a lottery. Sometimes the food is decent, other times the quality is poor and the portions are smaller. It feels like you have to be lucky to receive food that actually matches the description on the menu. Atmosphere: Very uncomfortable environment. Tables are often dirty, and there is no sense of cleanliness or coziness. Overall, I do not recommend this place. You will likely waste your time, money, and patience. Message to the owner: if you are reading this, you seriously need to work on your service and your staff. The same issues keep happening, and I’m not the only one mentioning them in reviews. It’s time to make real changes for the better. Thank you for reading.
Absolutely disgusting to have had food at this restaurant I ended being taken to the hospital due to the fact that whoever made my meal had 0% respect for culinary discipline and disregards of any hygiene! I warn you DO NOT EAT HERE! AGAIN DO NOT EAT HERE! This was one of the meals I had ordered I waited over an hour for my food and they had someone who cares less about your health and well being but more about breaking a buck! The platter was filled up to more than a half with this dark crude oil! My cars oil is cleaner than this! This is some 3rd country people who reuse their oil because they can’t afford to use new oil! I have made a complaint with sanitation and you already have multiple violations! I hope this place shuts down so no one can ever encounter what I had to encounter! Take your money else where!! I never write reviews but I had to this time!
Extremely disappointed with the service. My order was accepted, but then completely forgotten. After waiting for 10 minutes, I asked how much longer it would take, and only then was I told they had forgotten about it. I had to place the order again. The total waiting time ended up being 30 minutes. When I finally received my order, I noticed on the way that they had forgotten to include two samsas. I had to go back to get them. They did give them to me, but unfortunately, the problems didn’t end there. On my way to the metro, the bag tore due to the leaking oil from the plov. The grease stained my brand-new trench coat! A very unpleasant experience overall, and I definitely won’t be returning!
