I don’t write many reviews, but this one is earned. I’ve been in New York since March 2022, and after a lot of searching, Volare Espresso Bar in Park Slope is my favorite coffee shop. The coffee is excellent. The food and pastries never miss. But what makes it special is the people. The staff and owners are warm, thoughtful, and genuine. Over time, they’ve become more than baristas behind a counter they’ve become friends. It’s not just a coffee shop. It’s community. And when you walk in, you can feel it.
The scone and the croissants were so good! I had a maple caramel winter latte and it was so good! Felt like a warm hug! The staff was SOOO nice. I would come back again for sure
Great coffee shop in Park Slope with a nice seating area inside. I had a spiced fall latte and a biscuit and both were excellent. They have a nice selection of pastries and staff is super nice.
Elevated atmosphere and menu selection with a surprisingly quaint and charming vibe. Adorable, safe location! Jenny, one of the owners, was super accommodating and fun to chat with. Love the high tables with outlets! They also have benches with pillows and outlets underneath. My hazelnut oatmilk latte was customized perfectly — and I’m rather particular. Ordering the vegan zucchini bread is possibly one of the best decisions I’ve made in 2024. Encountered a mix of local regulars popping in and out and the espresso-loving WFH crowd — all seemed comfortable doing their own thing. Definitely worth checking out.
Wow, this is insanely wonderful place. A true oasis of tranquility where you want to spend at least an hour enjoying the pleasant ambiance, calming music and of course delicous pastries and coffee. My cappuccino had the best foam i got in NYC. They ran out of pistachio croissants but the owner filled one for me on the spot (and went a bit overboard with the sweet pistachio filling but i was ok with that:) There is a communal table and several individual tables including high-tops in the back, super cute.
Great coffee shop with lots of seating in the back. While they have black drip coffee and some flavored plates the staff (owners, I believe?) can make very legit espresso drinks. We tried a black coffee, macchiato, and a large cappuccino and they were all delicious. Everyone working here is very friendly. We didn't try them but they have a nice assortment of pastries and sweets that looked great.
A new cafe bringing the flavors of Italy to Park Slope. The staff were exceptionally warm and the space has a good amount of seating wjth nice ambiance. Look forward to coming back to try the pastries and different espresso drinks.
My favorite coffee shop! As soon as you walk in you feel like your in Italy. The service is excellent and the owners are very kind. Lovely ambiance. All the pastries are amazing especially the pistachio bomboloni! I highly recommend their nutella latte and the affogato. Simply delicious and addictive!
volare is such a lovely spot to sit + get some work done! ✨ the space is super clean, with bright lighting that feels energizing but not harsh. there are plenty of seats available, so you’re not stuck wandering around trying to find a spot. ample outlets make it really convenient for charging up, and the staff is super friendly, which adds to the welcoming vibe. overall, it’s a great place to settle in for a bit
Great coffee spot 👌 ☕️ spacious, good selection of pastries, bathroom ✅️
Got myself a tiramisu iced latte, the drink was delicious. I got the opportunity to chat with the owner, she is so kind and friendly. Highly recommend this place 10/10.
Update: I’m on my way to get my last coffee (for good reasons). I passed my AART state exam for Radiology 🎊 🥳 so I don’t need to study anymore. But studying here helped me out so much and I singled out 1 person last time but to be honest the entire staff is amazing. It is very comfortable here and as a plus they remembered my order 😎. So if you want good luck on your exams just bring your headphones and you’ll be fine 🍀 (my new favorite drink is the affogato with caramel sauce on top) Amazing customer service, great prices, okay WiFi and and low music. I love it. The lady at the front desk with the cute blonde highlights and brown hair was very patient when I kept adding stuff to my coffee. I highly recommend! (I had an Iced Cortado espresso with caramel syrup)

This is my second time here, I like coffees, and also croissants in this café. I am normally in for an almond croissant, but this time I gave a try their special pistachio croissant, it was soo satisfying. They have a considerably big sitting area inside, it's a nice place to meet up with friends for a coffee break. This will be my go to place from now on.

Volare is exactly what a neighborhood coffee shop should be. Amazing atmosphere. Great food and drink. And friendly staff who make you feel at home. Can't recommend more!
Great service Wonderful people Will get my coffee here every morning now Highly recommend to visit everyone! The best coffee from professionals Pet friendly Clean and good atmosphere
The best cappuccino I've ever had! Rich aroma, perfectly balanced flavor, and incredibly smooth. You can really taste the quality of the beans and the care put into every cup. I'll definitely be coming back! Definitely recommed going there for also their kind service.
My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. I go multiple times a week and the coffee is always delicious with amazing, friendly service from the owners. There is also a wide selection of pastries if you are looking for a treat. The Nutella banana bread is my favorite. I’ve worked from the back area a few times - the biggest plus is enjoying great coffee in a real mug with strong WiFi and the best vibes.
I love coming here to get work done or just relax. The overall vibe is great, and the staff is always warm and welcoming. The drinks are delicious and comforting, there are plenty of outlets, a bathroom, and cozy seating. Definitely recommend!
Volare Espresso Bar is my go-to spot. The coffee is strong and smooth, the vibes are cozy, and you can tell they actually care about what they serve. It’s one of those places that just feels good to walk into. Simple, honest, and real 🤍
The service here is outstanding and the atmosphere is also 10/10. I tried the London fog tea which was so comforting on a cold day. It was also super quiet if you want to work here on a weekday. Finally, the black sesame pinwheel is UNBELIEVABLE. Highly recommend!
Really wonderful coffee and espresso. The people behind the counter, possibly the owners were very nice. The pastries were excellent, and they have savory choices, which is great when not in the mood for something sweet.
Barista is cool and friendly, not to mention very knowledgeable and helpful. The espresso bar has lenty of speciality selections (something I appreciate personally), plus the man's latte is excellent
The best, friendliest staff with such a comforting environment to chat or work. One of my favorite spots for a morning date.

Best coffee on 5th Avenue. Not the type of espresso you see everywhere that is too heavy, hyper nutty, muddy taste. Instead, they offer that natural taste, light, refreshing, super clean pull you expect from great Italian espresso. Perfect flat white or cappuccino.
So lots of pluses to the owners, lovely couple. Very friendly as customers enter it’s like an episode of Seinfeld or friends they take time to get to know their customers. The regulars they know by name. There is WI-FI and food is to die for, I had the Rosemary Biscuit I just couldn’t stop eating it. There was like a flaky buttery crunch that became addictive. The coffee was pretty good I had Golden milk my partner an iced latte both were good. Atmosphere was quiet and nice music was subtle and not disruptive. Oh and my daughter loved the Chocolate Crossaints, thanks guys. Oh and there are gift cards, so give your loved ones an awesome gift of caffeine and baked yum yums for birthdays or holidays.
