Wow! This place is so good!! We went for breakfast and had coffee (15 pesos), breakfast bagels (45 pesos), and hot cakes (maybe 50 pesos?). The food was delicious with fresh, high quality ingredients and very nice presentation. The staff were super nice and the prices about half what you'll pay at the more mainstream breakfast spots around the town square. Please support this family-run local business, you won't be disappointed!

My favorite spot to relax and dine in La Cruz. The garden is shaded and surrounded by trees that give it a nice relaxing feel. The food is excellent and ranges from simple dishes to full entrees. Breakfast and lunch / early dinner menu. Smoothies from fresh fruit are delicious. For later meals, the ribs are amazing and Chef Jose's Steak is delicious. Service is friendly, attentive, and responsive. Everyone is smiling and happy which makes the experience even better. Entertainment ranging from the visiting Iguanas from the adjacent forest to the amazing live music performed by local artists. They also have free WiFi so you can relax, enjoy a cool drink, and surf the web...

Update: We still love this place. Saturday Evening Music starts on November 24th this year! There is a special menu that night, as well. Reservations are recommended! We love this outdoor breakfast and lunch restaurant. The food is really good, the prices are very reasonable and there are iguanas all over the place. LOVE!!!! Great place for breakfast in La Cruz. For starters they bring out some guacamole with chips that is freshly made and really good - gratis. I had chilaquiles with red sauce, very good. Wife had eggs with chorizo. She really liked the chorizo. Also had freshly squeezed OJ. All that for 175 pesos. Great deal, good service and really good food.
