I have to say this is the cleanest Chinese restaurant I have been to great job and the food is amazing

No exaggeration….the best General Tso chicken I’ve ever had. Moved a few mins away a month ago , and I’ve been several times. Wonton soup could use some more flavor but the chicken is crispy, saucy and amazing!

For more than fifteen years Golden Dragon has provided the best value and quality I've experienced from a Chinese restaurant. Food's fresh and made to order from the extensive menu. The front is designed around pick up orders but there's enough seating to wait comfortably or have a quick meal. A good selection of traditional dishes in addition to standards like chicken wings or ribs. Great convenience in hours as well.

We have been going to Golden Dragon for many years. Everything is delicious. Quick service and large variety of choices. Since we moved they are out of our way to just run up for food, but they are on our way home, so we definitely stop in occasionally for dinner to go.

While I haven't tried everything on their menu, I can tell you with 200% certainty they always get their staples down pat. Lo mein, sweet and sour whatever-you-want, General Tso's Chicken, friend rice, fried/steamed dumplings. Everything is utterly fantastic. They've ruined takeout for me whenever I go somewhere else. But, personally, their crowning achievement? EGGROLLS. Not only the largest I've ever seen, but also the most delicious. Try one and you'll literally sigh in longing whenever you have to eat some from anywhere else. Trust me. It's happened to me plenty.

So we were just blowing through the area, and had a hankering. Glad I listened to my gut. The chicken dishes were outstanding. The texture and consistency of the chicken felt very homemade - in the best way possible. If I find myself in the area jonesin for some 'nese, I will be back.

Been going there since I was a child. My mother has been a customer for over 27 years. The owners are amazing people that really know how to cook! There is literally not one thing on the menu I wouldn't recommend.

We Love Golden Dragon! We've been going there for over 13 yrs. Once my family member moved out of Cheektowaga area we weren't going as much bc we live in Lockport. But We still drive down whenever we have that craving. We have 2 Chinese restaurants here but one closed and the other is over priced and uses much Cheaper ingredients and it tastes like it. The staff are always friendly and she laughs when she sees me come in bc She knows I come from Lockport! Its well worth the drive imo. If ur looking for good Chinese food with Good ingredients and a friendly staff U'll want to stop in.

Just moved to Cheektowaga - this was the best Chinese I've had in a long time, far better than any of the places I frequented in the Amherst/Tonawanda area. Despite ordering towards closing the food was super fresh, and the quality and flavor were excellent. Definitely my new go to for quick, reasonably priced, and delicious Chinesus.

We have been going here for over 10 years. They are clean, nice, and if you put in a big order they give you extra goodies. They also will make what you want if they have ingredients available. Love the food and the people..

The food here is CONSISTENTLY great which is important. It doesn't taste great one day or one week and then drags the next. Every day the food tastes great. Never ONCE have they every messed up my order. Never ONCE has the food tasted even SLIGHTLY worse than before. Never ONCE has the staff been rude or short with me. I never got the impression that they're in a rush to just take my money and get me out the restaurant. I mean, they're not necessarily trying to start a long winded discussion with me but at the same time, they aren't quick hurry me out. They're fast with transactions which some may interpret as not caring but I see it as "The customer is hungry!" This place has, by far, the BEST Genral Tso's Shrimp I've ever had. The vegetables taste extremely fresh as well. Best part.....prices are not over the top.

Beef and Broccoli and Shrimp Egg Roll was bomb! The lady inside was friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the high quality food! Some other local places are expensive and the food never amazes me. I will definitely be a customer of Golden Dragon from now on!! Menu is from June of 2025.

I am from Cheektowaga, and have found it to be incredibly difficult to find quality Chinese food near us. My family and I have been disappointed many times trying to find a place that is tasty, fresh, and affordable. Well thank God the search is over! This place is really good. We got sesame, general tsos, and sweet and sour chicken. Also we had egg rolls and crab rangoons. All were very good! The order was made correctly, on time, and the portions were just right. We have found our new place and thankfully it's only 10 min from our house. Very happy about it!

Food quality is above average IMO, but prices are very good indeed. The restaurant itself is very clean, though currently not allowing eat in. I don't think there's a bathroom, at least not a public one. The food was also very nice and quick to come out. I can certainly see the appeal of this place!

Golden Dragon is your typical fast food Chinese food. What makes them different though from alot of other restaurants, is that their food always taste fresh. Golden Dragon has pretty good Chinese food. I had the pepper steak with onion and fried rice, soup, egg roll, and shrimp toast. I was not a fan of the shrimp toast or the fried rice but everything else was great. It wasn't bad, it just didn't hold a candle to what I consider the best Chinese food in the area. Since the rice is one of my favorite parts of the meal I probably won't be back here. But the food was good, on-time, the cashier was pleasant, and they accept all credit cards.

Decent food. Stopped here for takeout, got the chicken with mixed veggies and egg drop soup. Chicken was really good with fresh veggies but the soup was super super salty. I've had egg drop soup from over 20 different places and never had it this salty. I couldn't finish it and I love egg drop soup. Too bad, maybe just a bad batch but I'll never get soup from this place again.

Ordered SweetnSour Chicken... Shrimp egg roll wit Shrimp fried rice. The only thing edible was the roll. The chicken was hard and overcooked or MayBe even recooked. The Shrimp in the rice wasn't cleaned properly. Still had waste residue inside of them. Lady wasn't pleasant on the phone and wasn't better in person. Hunan Wok was closed Jun 27 so I tried this spot. I guess U get what You Pay for. Pay alil more for better food and service at Hunan Wok.

The food is great, but they really need to figure out their hours, because yesterday, it said that they were opened on Mondays and now they aren’t. They were supposed to be closed until the end of July, but yet, they weren’t? Hunan Wok gets people sick & this was supposed to be our go to place. Guess it’s not anymore.

(Update) i ordered General Tso chicken today for dinner and it was the worst chinese I've ever been served. I think it was leftovers from lunch and reheated. The chicken was so overcooked and dried out it was inedible. This place was good last time, now the quality is inconsistent. Very disappointed! (Update #2) just had the sweet & sour chicken. Same problem. The chicken is severely overcooked and dried out. Im really quite bummed out as this was once very very good. Now both places on harlem serve dried out chicken. Time to find another Chinese takeout joint. Will update if they improve and i hear about it.

I ordered the general tso from Golden dragon and got door poisoning! I ordered it Thursday night 4/7 and I haven't stop puking since. I ran into one of my friends saying she also got food poisoning from the general tso! I am very disappointed with this because it has never ever happened before.

Had MeiFun and the beef was raw and rotten🤢🤮I could smell it since I opened the container. Also, when you enter the “restaurant” they leave food sitting outside. I would never return here.

Went there yesterday to the Harlem rd. location. This was absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten! The sesame chicken was so well done I had to spit it out because I couldn't chew it. My friends food was so bad he threw up after eating beef and chicken and they forgot his rice. Everything was thrown out. What a waste of money! $75.00 worth!!!!

I recently had a frustrating experience at dragon golden Harlem rd . Despite confirming my order twice, I received the wrong food item. This mistake was compounded by poor customer service. Incorrect/not legitimate receipt was given to me.
