Happened to wander in here with a group of friends the other night and I was impressed. The food menu was a little sparse but everything we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced. I will definitely be returning!

Full disclosure: I have been a patron since it opened, but obviously I'm still a regular, so as Tony Tiger says...They're GREEEAATT! Bar staff is courtesy and accomodating, and never upping. The small plates, their mainstay, are all crafted with fresh and individual ingredents(made right out in the open) just like all the cocktails delicous. Oh and then there is their fine wine list and draft beers!

It's a soccer fan bar/restaurant. Really good food. European style food like pasta, meat plates (cured meats on a stone plate) pizzas, pasta, really good olives. Highly recommend.

Great place for soccer fans. One of the only places in the city which is so hyped about soccer. They have a good collection of beers. Mostly off during the weekdays but quiet busy when there is a soccer game.

The best cocktails on Hertel and perhaps the best in the city. The food is solid. Make sure you check soccer schedules if you want to go in for dinner, as this is a soccer bar. The place goes bananas during matches.

Mes Que is great. If you like soccer it’s the place to be. The food is fresh and delicious which is surprising given how small the kitchen is. The fresh ingredients that they use is key. They always have soccer on, but for a big game make sure to get there early because it gets packed.

Really really skilled bar tenders, more like mixologists! Great drinks, good wine selection, great selection of vodka's, and the charcuterie board is a perfect compliment to any drink. Let's not forget I can watch "footy" Australian rules football, (real football) so I really like this place.

Friendly welcoming environment with great staff cozy atmosphere with little lights on the awning outside right next to the North Park theater I was a good meal whether it's salad or homemade soups. It has become our Thursday night go to place! Sarah the waitress knows exactly what salad we like and the bartender always has a tiki drink or a great beer to try try it you'll feel at home in like it!

I enjoy going here before or after a film, it has a wide variety of beer options, and some of the most creative cocktails in the Buffalo area. Also if your a soccer/football fan this is the best place to watch a game.

I think her name was Emily or Emma or something like that but she madey whole party feel completely at home and the experience here was unlike any other. Wonderful ambiance. Great drinks. A little loud because they have big screen TVs to show soccer games, but you can't blame them. Soccer is a global sport, and there are plenty of other places to placate non-sports fans. I will gladly come back here again in the future.

My friends and I ended up randomly at med que and I’m so happy we did! The atmosphere was low key and inviting. The cocktail list was extensive and the wine selection was great! Their cheese and charcuterie board is one of the best I’ve had in buffalo. Our server, Chris, was attentive, wonderful attention to detail and he made our experience that much better! I would highly recommend this bar/ restaurant! Thanks for a great experience!

So right off you think....hits just another soccer bar but it's so much more than that! From a delicious food selection to a tasty cocktail menu, Mes Qué has it! The service is always fantastic and truly genuine. Because if this, I find myself a regular on friday nights. Worth every single cent.

After leaving the North Park theater on a cold winter afternoon we decided to check out Mes Que for an early dinner. It is conveniently located next door to theatre. Received a friendly welcome. Our bartender/server brought our beverages quickly. Nice selection of beers and some wines. There is a very interesting mixed drink menu too. We tried the Roasted Pork with beans and rice. Penne with pesto and chicken. Jambalaya soup. All were fresh, hot and delicious!! Also bread to share with dipping plate. Prices quite reasonable. Very glad we stopped in.

Awesome place to watch soccer and have a beer. Went there while last week to watch Copa America and Gold Cup. Amazing atmosphere and friendly servers. The place is cozy and decorative with soccer theme. A great to-go for watching soccer around Buffalo. You will definitely find someone else supporting the same teams as you are.

By far the best soccer bar in Buffalo. I enjoy hanging out with fans from so many different places and supporting different teams! I spend almost all of my EPL game day weekends over there! Breakfast pizza is excellent and the cocktails are delicious!

This was my first time here and I will say they were not very welcoming. I had to ask if I can sit anywhere and if I can have a menu. He said oh your eating which was weird. If it wasn't for that encounter I would have given them 5 stars as the drinks & food was good. It was a good location & atmosphere. The service was slow but I would go again.

This is the place to be for every soccer fan. Soccer games are on all the time. There should be more food selections. I really enjoy been there.

Went there for the Italy v. Germany game. It was hot in there! That place needs some moving air. Fans. Something. A small place with a good selection of beers. Servers were working hard making sure everyone standing had something to drink. I'd go back, but maybe not for a game...too crowded for my liking.

Will not be back. Ordered a beer, you could see the bar towel wipe marks on the inside of the beer. Asked for a replacement, beer was not cold and not carbonated with no head. Friends enjoyed their cocktails and wine but would not grab a beer.

Went there for a drink with some girlfriends. I have been there before and usually everything is great. The wine is good, the food is good- lots of apps. But this time we were helped (at least in the beginning) by a young blonde girl. Not very friendly, ignored us, and I thought had a poor disposition for a bartender. You don't have to be a patrons' best friend, but certainly greeting with a smile and making people feel welcomed should be a part of your job. We were going to leave after one drink because of that, but were served by a new bartender who was great so we stayed. Good bartenders are good for business....

I’m a loyal customer to this place since 2013 and lately I have been getting a rude service from one person there (African American) who need to go ASSAP!!! he need to go and learn how to treat customers!! Very bad service not going there anymore

The bartender was extremely rude. I can’t believe he still had a job after reading these reviews. I worked as a Chef for 30 years and had never seen such a situation. If you don’t like people don’t work in a bar.

Poor service and terrible drinks. Bartenders were inattentive and could care less about providing even decent service. The staff was argumentative and rude even after we were kind and patient throughout our time at Més Que. Will not be coming back and would not recommend.

I have read a ton of excellent reviews about mésQue but the bartender was by far the rudest !! Experienced very poor service here. Only went in once. Stood at the bar for 5+ mins while the bartender talked and laughed with their friends. (The only people in the bar) ended up leaving sans drink. This was a couple years ago. Maybe it is better now.

Came in to get a drink at 8:15pm on a Monday night. Was not greeted when I entered the bar and the two male employee working were curt and rude. I could tell they would rather be on their phone than working. The table and menus were filthy and covered in sauce. The beers weren’t poured correctly as I had nearly half a pint of foam. When I came in to get a second round one employee asked if we were the “table with all the waters”. The area is great, however the service leaves much to be desired.

Bartender (the gentleman with many tattoos) was very rude; thankfully, another bartender understood appropriate customer service. With him, (as well as my very proactive actions as a bartender myself), the unprofessionalism was mildly acknowledged. Some people have enough money to tip cash Mes Que!!

I live in the neighborhood and this place has always been an afterthought bc there are way better bars on Hertel. A friend asked us to meet her last wk around 7 on a Friday when it wasn't busy. The shorter African American bartender turned his back and wouldn't acknowledge us. When he did, he told us they were "out" of several of the drink ingredients listed on the menu. Ok fine got beer. 1st Beer came in a goblet glass, next beer, the exact same kind, came in a full pint glass, ok? The next round of drinks we were ignored again, then he pretended he couldn't hear us when we gave him our order. Sick of beer, I asked if they had seltzer, and he said something like "oh you'll get whatever comes in the variety" No thanks dude, I hate black cherry and grapefruit after he already started to open it, sorry buddy, I never said I wanted that. He was so rude and curt I didn't even want to stay. Revolution, Lloyd, Merry Shelly, Dels, and even stuffy Moor Room treats their patrons better, dueces soccer bar that isn't.✌️

Girlfriend stood at bar for 15 minutes with no visual or verbal recognition, finally got served after another guest had to speak up for her. I ordered two personal sized pizzas and waited 55 minutes for it to be served. Kitchen was not particularly busy. Tip was requested even though you go to the bar for everything. This place has gone down considerably, very disappointed.

Having worked in restaurants for a long time I hesitated to write a bad review but the last 2 times I went here the staff was very rude. Also I see others noticed the lack of customer service as well. Mainly the guy with the tattoos and the black bartender. Idk why they think it is normal to be borderline confrontational and condescending with customers but they must have been getting away with it for a while. That being being said the guy with the hat on has always been very polite.

Yeah, the bartender Chris - 😞 bad. "I told the other bartender to make your drink". ????! You took my order. It's a margarita, it shouldn't take 20 minutes to make. Edited to add: to Owner - thank you so much for your reply, our group had 3 pull tabs, 3 caps, 2 cokes and a margarita. Not at the same time, it was over 3 orders. The thing that threw the game was the comment, finger pointing. This may be an isolated event based upon your immediate response to my rating of this night. You have my respect and I think that of others as well, thanks.

I am writing this as I am sitting in the restaurant.This place has an identity crisis it wants to be a full service restaurant but lacks the proper equipment and staff. If you are not sitting at the bar, don't expect good service. It took almost 45 minutes to get a charcuterie plate. And that was about 10 minutes after being told we needed to order at the bar. We went to the bar to order and pay before even getting our food. The food was good. I have no complaints. I enjoyed it. I found a new beer I like. If you were at the bar, i dont think you would be having problems getting service It was good. I just won't be coming back .

Bad service, bad beer, terrible prices. The bar tender was hands down the rudest we’ve ever experienced. He insulted us under his breath and to our face, because—in his eyes, apparently—we didn’t tip him enough. (We tipped him more than enough for the terrible service we received—15%, despite everything). He also attacked us for not bringing our empty glasses to the bar. The beer all tasted the same, probably thanks to this place’s lack of attention to cleaning and maintaining their taps. On top of that, the tables and menus were filthy, covered in the last 10 customers’ meals and drinks. And the prices were awful; a run of the mill beer was $8. I’d never go back here. In case management reads this, the bar tender was a 20-30 year old African American man with shaved hair. He’s single-handedly destroying your business.
