I'm not much of a sushi or Japanese food guy, but I saw that there were burgers on the menu and it was the only restaurant within walking distance from my hotel, so I figured it would be OK. Wow, was I surprised when I got one of the best burgers I'd had in a long time. REALLY good. Others in my group (who do like Japanese food) said the other menu items they had were fine, but they all switched to burgers by the end of our multi-day stay. And everyone agreed the burgers were fantastic.

Great burger and nice Japanese bento box restaurant. We are staying at a nearby hotel and decided to take out some food for dinner. Ordered a couple cheese burgers and they tasted great. ***The restaurant closes at 6pm***.

A nice little hole in the wall restaurant. I can only vouch for the bento boxes my wife and I got. I got the chicken teriyaki box with the california roll and my wife fot the salmon with the tempura. Both meals were AMAZING. The food was delicious. I would definitely come here again. I recommend it. I uploaded an updated price picture as of Oct 2022.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! The owners are very friendly and very hard-working. They make delicious food! And it's so convenient that it's right there next to the Hampton where I was staying. The sushi is pretty amazing and so is the Udon.

I was staying at the hotel right next-door. It was just a few steps away which was good because I did not rent a car. I got the chicken teriyaki and it was very tasty and it was filling as well. It’s a very good choice for a quick meal. It doesn’t stay open very late at night so you’ll need to make sure you get there before it closes. Not much for atmosphere so I took the food to go.

Found this location while staying nearby at the Westin. Unsuspecting and a bit hidden. However, the food was excellent, owners were kind / helpful, and the atmosphere was pleasant. For a quick dinner, I would certainly come back if in the area.

A true gem. This hole-in-the-wall spot is convenient to SFO airport hotels and offers two menus: burgers or Japanese fare. I went for the bento box. The salmon was delicious and savory, the tempura perfectly cooked and not a bit oily, and the sushi roll spot-on. The table next to me raved about their sushi rolls. I fly through SFO regularly and will definitely be back. This is also a good spot for lunch. The small dining room is very casual and there are picnic tables available outside.

I chose the Western Burger and the taste was sensational, couldn't be more satisfied 🤤 very quiet when I was there early evening but great hospitality from the owner and fast and super respectful service. will definitely be back when I'm at a nearby hotel again!

Delicious turkey & avocado sandwich, can’t wait to go back and try the udon! Update: tried the udon and tempura. It was excellent!!

Maybe it was just because I hadn't eaten all day, but the food here was something else. Transcendental experience. Ate some of the best donburi of my life and I felt full after only finishing half because the portion sizes are huge. Great experience for sure 🙂‍↕️

Very good sushi rolls and bento boxes. Prices are a bit high. “Hidden gem”. The donburi isn’t the best but the quantity is crazy huge.

I ordered the Alaska sushi roll to take away. Taste wise very refreshing and good. But the portion is bit small, it cost me around 14 dollars includes tax already. The wasabi is not spicy at all. Well. I am still hungry after took that considering I am just an small asian girl.

Very good burgers, as mentioned by many others. Note, there is an entrance to the restaurant from the Hampton Inn parking lot- directly across from the back door of the Hampton Inn- you do NOT have to walk all the way around the block to get to the restaurant.

We had to keep asking for plates, cups, forks, etc. and she would only give us one, and we had to keep asking for the rest of the people in our party of 3. She would not give us more ginger or enough soy sauce bowls to mix with wasabi. The food was good other than the salad.
