It's a restaurant that, if you don't know where it is or someone recommends it to you, you'll miss it. Traveling from Madrid to Santander on country roads, we looked for a restaurant near Burgos to stop for lunch. What I saw online didn't disappoint, and we had the best sirloin steak we've ever had. And we're big eaters. As soon as we sat down, they offered us a glass of cider, courtesy of the house. The service was very fast considering the restaurant was so busy. If we pass by that place again, we won't hesitate to stop by.

This place is fantastic, a sure bet for meat lovers. The ribeye steak from an older cow was superb, full of flavor and incredibly tender. For starters, I recommend the Cabrales cheese, which comes with anchovies and is top-notch. Highly recommended.

A restaurant specializing in grilled meats. We ordered blood sausage, octopus, and baby squid to share. The portions were generous. We then ordered sirloin and ribeye steak, the meat cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dessert, we chose cheesecake, brownie, and pineapple tart. The service was very attentive and pleasant. We will return!

The best restaurant for meats in the area. I love this place. It's a little expensive, but actually it's worth the extra. I recommend it if meats are your thing. A great experience overall.

I've been several times, but this last time, I liked it by far. We ordered the special menu with the extra ribeye steak and unlimited barrel cider. In short, "it was heavenly." We ate very well, with generous portions, and we weren't thirsty at all. We'll definitely be back!

Great place. Our first visit today and I don't have anything bad to say about it. I just had the best Solomillo I had ever eaten and every other dish we tried was perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back to try more! A job perfectly done by everyone who was working very hard today to make our experience 100% perfect!

Still a big favorite, after years of going here. Love this place...the Monkfish is fantastic and so flavorful....services is pretty good...setting while hiking the trails nearby...made this special. My recommendation is to hike the beautiful hike from Burgos to train tunnel or beyond to train station, and no...no trains or tracks to contend with...just peaceful and calming flat walk....then...dine on the return trip...walk off that lovely meal. Again...run don't walk...this is a fantastic spectacular hit, gem...eat here is a must...soon.

A restaurant with very good food. We really liked the food, but it's true that we found the atmosphere uncomfortable; there was too much smoke, a strong smell of grilled meat, and heat. I think better ventilation and smoke extraction would be necessary.
