This was the best franchise I've been in. The staff was genuinely nice and seemed very happy which resulted in excellent customer service. In fact we just paid for our order when the order was ready, and we arrived at the beginning of the lunch rush. I'm a Taco Casa fan anyway, but this was the best I've been in so far.

I only eat there about twice a week when I have time. The food is delicious for Tex Mex fast food because it is so fresh. The prices are competitive and they have a clean roomy dining area with TVs to watch while you eat. There restrooms are kept up and clean also. Today I was extra impressed by a young lady cashier named Jamece. I've only ordered through her a couple of times and good grief, did she amaze me today. She not only remembered my name but she also remembered my exact order and my add ons and what to go easy on. Now why is this so impressive? Well because I figure that Jamece is probably still in school and so working part time. On her part time shift, she probably works about 5 or 6 hours per day. Taco Casa is very popular, so I estimate that Jamece tenders about 200 guests per shift per day. That's a lot of names and a lot of orders to try to keep up with and she still called me by name and told me my order before I gave it to her. Now that's what I call customer service. I hope this review helps her to get a free cap or T-shirt or paid day off or maybe even a raise, "hint hint." Come on boss, she deserves it. I would still go to Taco Casa for their food but Customer Service Representatives like Jamece, makes it a lot more enjoyable and makes the guests feel a lot more special.

The girls that normally work the drive-thru at lunchtime during the week are super friendly! The tacos are my favorite fast-food tacos also. One main reason is that they don't skimp out on the cheese. Other places tacos with "extra" cheese will still not compare. Their taco meat is real ground beef, and they dont serve it up dripping grease like some you will find. They also have really good sweet tea and hot sauce. Taco Casa is the top tier for fast-food tacos!

Emily is the absolute best!! I have never met someone so sweet and helpful!! She was patient with our really long order, and then carried part of our order over to the table, and then cleaned up after all of my kids and my husband and me!! She had nothing but sweet and caring manors and complimented us during our entire visit! I love this store!! Jill was also very helpful in getting us the info to be able to make a review when we had lost our receipt!! Best food out of any location we have ever been to…and we eat at Taco Casa very often!! Taco Casa has the freshest toppings for their tacos, burritos, etc. I'm never disappointed with anything I order. They are very generous with meat and toppings on everything. The Chilada is probably my favorite item. It reminds me of Taco Bells Enchirito, but it's so much better! The amount of meat and cheese on the Chilada is double what you would expect! It's delicious and very filling! Second to the Chilada, my favorite is the Super Tostada. The crispy tortilla bottom is piled HIGH with large portions of meat and beans, then piled high with toppings! If you like cheese on your tacos, tostadas, nachos, and everything else, then Taco Casa is the place to go! I'm not sure if they shred the cheese on-site, but the cheese always tastes so good and looks freshly grated. They are EXTREMELY generous with toppings on everything, even the cheese. If you look at the menu pictures online or the menu board at the restaurant, the amount of toppings is a true representation of what you'll get - or you may even get more toppings! Their sweet tea is really good. It's southern sweet without being syrupy. Refried beans are delicious and make a good side to any menu item. I like to order chips and a side of beans to use as dip! The location I usually go to is in Carrollton at Midway and Trinity Mills. The inside is always clean. Tables are wiped, bathrooms are clean and "stocked." Staff at this location are super friendly. They seem to work well together and always get my order correct. I have a large family so I order a lot. A mistake on a to-go order could mean someone at home is missing their meal. It's refreshing to place a large order and have everything correct and packed well for the drive. Great food, reasonable prices, and amazing service!

Stopped by here on my lunch break. Was greeted at ordering counter by a man named Antonio. Great guy simple conversation but he made you feel welcome to be there. Food was great as every other Taco Casa I’ve been to. But sometimes it’s the people that make it even better. 👍🏻

Ashley and Eddie or Ed are the best. There is a flaw in the location and a free item . Ed helped me with a warm smile and free item, no fuss, and Ashley made my day on Mother's Day bc of the flaw on the mother's day coupon. The soft tacos and chiladas are my favorite! The ground meat is not so chunky. The crispy tacos are great if you eat them before they get soggy. The beans and bean burritos and super burritos are also great. And the nachos chips are a no👎👎👎.

Who doesn't love a good taco? I swung through because we were heading to the movies after work. We wanted a quick taco to avoid the popcorn...lol. Don't judge us. 4 Crispy Taco Lights. 2 and 2 and we were through. Fresh Light Crispy Shell Great tasting filling of meat, cheese, lettuce, taco sauce and added sour cream. Can't miss! Great Tacos!

Being that I am here practically every day says it all. Yes I am a little obsessed with taco casa as a whole but this location in particular is the shining star of them all. The GM is great, she always makes sure the place is clean along with properly training her staff in customer service. The staff goes out of their way to make sure the food is right the fist time and always good. Its also one of the few locations that offer a military discount in which I greatly appreciate. The staff here deserves more than a pat on the back for holding the standard.

I tried Taco Casa for the first time today, it was a great experience. Very busy for lunch time but I got my food quickly. The crispy tacos were super good, the meat, which was a good portion, was delicious. Definitely going back to try everything on the menu. Overall best fast food tacos I've had in Dallas.

We were referred there a long time ago, and finally made it! Did not disappoint! The tacos, tostadas, nachos and tea were delicious! Open up near Willis Conroe area!!!

Food good and hot. The cashier however didn't seem to eager to be there talked very quiet and I had to ask a couple of times for her to repeat herself. I liked the place though and this won't stop me from coming back.

Food is typical for fast food. Staff was incredibly kind, smiled, and got our order correct with our substitutions.

The portions have gotten smaller on some items over the last year and they have raised prices a couple of times. I don't go very often anymore and I only get the taco or tostada now. The burritos and enchilada are skimpy.

This was my first time eating at this place. I was pleasantly surprised. The lady waiting on me was nice, the food was good and I definitely plan on going back.

What a surprise! I usually avoid fast food restaurants, but hunger got the best of me. I ordered the Super Nachos. 1st surprise-I could get it with all components separated, 2nd surprise-real chopped beef used, not the normal ground hamburger, 3rd surprise-tortilla chips were crispy and fresh! When I put everything together at home it was delicious! Please Taco Casa keep this as yummy as mine was!

I am updating my One star review to Four stars. This location isn't far from my house and although I avoided this location previously over the last eleven months, since my one star review I have visited this location at least 7 times. The issues that caused the one star review are no longer present. Those were poor employee attitudes towards customers and interrupting the customer while ordering to ask questions that were being answered as the employee was interrupting the order. ( ex. mild or spicy burrito and wanting to add extra meat for $1 more). The food was always on par with other Taco Casa locations. I gave the One star review after several visits in which the employees both inside and the drive through had very poor attitudes and behaved rudely in my opinion. I do not if management of this location changed or if I happened upon a few people in the middle of a bad day they were having. but i can now say i recommend this location.

There’s certain times or days of the week where it’s the most amazing team of workers that are super kind. I pulled up on Taco Tuesday which is everywhere. To find out there were no specials. I got 1 Super Taco and 1 regular Taco. The meat wasn't hot on the tacos. Fresh, but could have been hotter. Suggestions: Taco Specials and hotter meat. Overall pretty good.

Dont really come here often, but the times that I do, the staff never seems to come off as pleasant. No greeting when you walk in, no smiles at the counter, no thank you when you're done. Just placed an order, the lady asked my name, but listed it as just the letter "N" since she couldn't spell it and didn't take the time to ask me HOW to spell it. I'm sure I wont be visiting again anytime soon :(

They don’t have combos so it gets too expensive to order a la cart. Ordered coke with meal and it was so watered down didn’t even taste like coke. This has always been my go to for a drive thru but today was my last visit.

I've been to other taco casa's and with a lot better service and food quality. Today I went in for my fix but left due to only 3 workers and no one handling customers. It was a 15 wait and only three of us in line. The guy in the front looked as if he was just learning and when tasking other things he just forgot about customers and kept doing other things. One of the other guys was on the phone and got off irritated and looked like he was going to have a melt down and the girl there was the only one of the three that seemed to be handling everything. I just left cause honestly I just was hungry and thought they were severely under staffed with full drive thru keeping them busy and inexperienced staff working winging it. I've been here a couple times before around the same time and plenty of people working it and getting people taken care of. I can't explain their deal today, but it was irritating me, so I went somewhere else. Franchise owner needs to be more engaged.

Good sized portions but you must be specific with your order. I try and stay away from ordering tostadas... The shell is always soggy and limp like a wet blanket.

Food is pretty good, but every time i go here, they forget my order, and i have to ask one of them to get it completed. This is a common problem for most people ordering inside.

Always great food here and healthy portions. CX service has been lacking lately though. Can’t think of the last time I came in to the lobby and didn’t have to wait 5-10 mins to have someone run from the back help me. Which would be fine if there weren’t always at-least 4 people working line and drive through. If you want to delegate certain workers to certain things at least make sure they are fulfilling those responsibilities.

So, I go through the drive -thru and order a "Combo Burrito, Bean Burrito and Medium Water." (...most places give out a baby water unless you specify) They say they don't have medium, do I want a Small or Large? Of course I say "Large" because that's the whole point. At the window, my order is almost $8. When I get the receipt, they charged me 99¢ for water! I returned their overpriced Large Water and had the manager return my 93¢... wait!?! I guess I'll go back to ordering "two ice waters." :-/

I honestly don’t know what’s happened to this place. They used to have the best tacos. You get a lot of meat, cheese and lettuce. The shells used to be what made the tacos so good. The shells were very crispy and light. The last few times I’ve been there, the shells have been stale and tough. Today I was craving tacos and was so hungry I would’ve eaten a piece of cardboard. When I bit into each of the three “crunchy“ tacos that I purchased, the shells were actually like eating a piece of cardboard. I will admit they have very friendly, fast service. It makes me wonder how long the tacos had been sitting under a heat lamp. Oh well, I guess I had my craving for cardboard, satisfied. I won’t be back.

Food is usually decent here but that's not my review. This place usually closes early when ever they feel like it. There are no signs posting their store hours so you never really know. Tonight Google said they were closing at 11pm. I and 2 other cars arrived at 1012 and no one would respond at their lit up drive thru. I honked to get someones attention and she tells me "Oh they told us today that we're closing at 10" No signs posted saying this or anything which makes me feel like the girl is lying. This is the closest Casa to me and this isnt the first time this has happened when they close early. Sadly I won't be visiting here anymore. The customer service used to be wonderful. Now, it's subpar at best.

Avoid this place...3 super burritos with barely no meat....that's why I asked for a refund after taking the biggest bite....thank you....employees do better, please...

Idk what in the world happened today but I got the most greasiest and broken tacos that I’ve ever had from any location. Like soaking wet with enough grease to drip from the closed wrappers. I choose this location today since it’s on the way from work. Looks like the journey to Lewisville may be worth it until the colony location opens.

Asked for light ice, you could not have anymore ice in the cup! Their large drink is probably not more than 12 oz with ice. $2.34!! And I when inside so there would be no misunderstanding!! Shame on me.

I went to casa taco and asked for a cup of hot water can you believe that Taco casa does not have hot water not even in the restroom when you go wash your hands how can you kill germs without hot water makes me wonder how the employees wash your hands with no hot water that's not very sanitary

Been going to this location almost 5 years. Last night was beyond disappointing. Completely left out my order of nachos. I believed the girl at the window when I asked her for extra jalapeños. She said, 'There's plenty in rhe bag already." Turns out the chips, cheese, and jalapeños (the entire item) were vacant so I trusted her and waited till I got home to check the bad. Very frustrated and disappointed when I did.

Was told no to get a courtesy cup however a lady wit no kids got it and was a different race then me, I see how taco casa discriminates, lost my buisness

Every Taco Casa I’ve been to asks when you order Nachos if you want the toppings on the side or on top. Unfortunately the manager at this location gives that responsibility to the customers who aren’t getting paid to do such things. Not only did they assume the toppings on the side but I didn’t get the toppings I wanted. Once I returned, unbothered, with a smile on my face, the manager proceeded to lay into me about the food cost that goes into correcting my incorrect order and questioning word for word what I said to the team member that took my order - I guess to see what my wrong doing, as the customer, in the situation was. I’ve worked in food service for 8 years and am very understanding. I’ve never experienced such unprofessional service - and this service was from the manager! Absolutely unacceptable, I nearly asked for a refund bc of the fuss she was making. I live less than a mile from this location and if I ever want taco casa again I will happily drive 8 miles to the Lewisville location so I never have to be subject to that manager who is incapable of assuming responsibility for her business. She ended the conversation with “this is the only time I will do this” well that’s super convenient because I won’t be back to any location for the foreseeable future. Very unfortunate, because I’ve only ever had amazing customer service from taco casa. She does not uphold the service that other Taco Casa locations and her own team members below her exude. She might as well had MISERABLE written on her forehead, because it was clear as day. I feel bad for the team members who have to work for her. I called up there to get her name, Samantha, on the clock during 3/21/2021 around 1-3pm. For the record, this was my first time returning messed up food to a fast food place and my first yelp post. I gladly will not be back.

My son and I walked into the restaurant about 8:30 were the only people there besides the two employees. I could see that they busy with drive-thurs which was fine, but no one acknowledged that we were there they just looked us. No one said hello or sorry we will be you in a moment. After about 3 minutes the cashier comes to the register, no smile or greetings just and said dine in or to go. She told me the total and went to do something else. Once our order she here you go and practically tossed our order on the counter. This is totally unacceptable behavior, had I been a secret shopper they would fail for having a poor attitude and poor customer service. I would suggest going to this place maybe during the day but not at night.

Stood at the counter for 5 minutes tonight waiting for anyone to take my order. I was told “We’ll be right with you” when I arrived. I waited while that employee walked off. There was no other customers. There was one person making an order. The other three employees I saw weren’t doing nothing. Taco Bueno down the road got me served fast. This place has gone downhill in the last year.

I went in on the afternoon of Sunday, September 29th, 2024, and realized just bad this location has gotten in the last year. I walked in, went to the counter, and stood there patiently waiting to place my order. The three employees that were there, looked at me and then the one with the gray shirt took off to the back, the other two walked over to the prep bar. One started very slowly making food, got halfway through what they were making, slid it over to the other one to finish. That should have been my first clue because I was the only customer in there and there was nobody at the drive-thru, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe it was a mobile order or something. I was obviously wrong. Both of them looked right at me, looked at each other said something kind of quiet started snickering and shaking their heads and went back to the food prep bar. At the same time, the one of the gray shirt came out saw me turned right around and went right back in the back again. The two at the prep bar saw that and started snickering again and then looked over saw me, shook their heads started snickering and went back to what they were doing. Not a single time did they say that they would be right with me, not a single time did they say just a minute, nothing. The only acknowledgment they had of me and other customers that were starting to come in was just to look at us, say something and start laughing, and then proceed to ignore us. So I guess that the company and the managers condone their employees making fun of, ignoring and laughing at customers without even acknowledging their existence other than to talk down to and disrespect for no reason. What makes it really sad was that a year ago this is one of the best Taco Casa locations to go to and now it's one of the worst.

This used to be my go to restaurant for tacos. I hadn’t been there for a few years. Things have definitely changed for the worse. We ordered 2 bean tacos. Tacos came with lettuce and tomato in the taco and the beans were in a side cup. That was bizarre. The cashier assumed that we wanted bean taco salad too. Taco salad was a bunch of beans. We were overcharged. .

DONT STOP AT THIS LOCATION NO MATTER WHAT!!!! They were offering a buy one get one free if you use the scan code on the display board, which I had no idea about until offered to me. Well, since I was ordering for other people, I was told by another employee that I could use the code a second time for the other orders, but it had o be scanned using another phone. BOOM!! I pull out another phone. All of a sudden, some supervisor dude jumps in the conversation, intimidating the worker saying they couldn't do that because they will lose money. I said, place looks pretty empty to me already and you're not making any money, plus I'm buying multiple items so what's the issue if I use another phone on a separate order, it's not your money, the company is promoting this obviously to keep business and 2 items are only free out of the orders. Then dude coped an attitude and started making stuff up like, you have to come back on another day to use it again, they only let you use it once a month, and the big one, "you have to be a completely different person!" I said ok, so if I get another person out of the car to come in with my other phone, it's ok? He said, "No, you have to be a completely different customer." I said, "Show me the fine print proof of this foolishness because it doesn't even say it on the display board." He said the manager, JORDAN, said it! 🙄 lol, what a goof to make up lies and pass it on to someone else 🤣 the food quality isn't that great nor fresh like it used to. I had to stand there and watch him like the child he was acting like, so he wouldn't put anything in our food!!! This location will close soon. There's no customer base anymore.
