Best sushi restaurant ever, the service was great, the food was awesome, and the atmosphere was very sophisticated and comfortable. Though, as someone who isn't known for enjoying sushi, this has brought something out of me. Would suggest to many of my sushi-loving friends, and would definitely come back!

This review is from a single father and my 11 year old daughter. We come here often and let me say first we LOVE it here. Their food is so good, but there is something missing 😋. Here are our suggestions a few salt 🧂 shakers or individual tiny salt packs available for us to use specifically on the edamame. Our biggest recommendation is that they offering a dessert item, our suggestion is a Rice Roll with Vanilla Ice Cream and Mango slices in the middle with Chocolate and Condense Milk drizzle 😋🤤 or a Mochi Ice Cream ( Basic ) 🙄 Edit:from 3 out of 5 to 5 out of 5 now because of the reply 😁

J sushi in Carson is an incredible restaurant to indulge in authentic Japanese cuisine. This sushi restaurant is located right across from Ikea and offers the perfect combination of fresh delicacies, vibrant atmosphere, and excellent service. I recently visited the restaurant during their grand opening event, and it was an unforgettable experience. The first thing that struck me was the kindness of the waitresses who greeted us with smiles and made us feel very welcome. They were attentive, polite, and extremely friendly. Their hospitality made us feel like we were part of their family. It’s essential to note that the waitresses were not only friendly, but they were also very beautiful. Their welcoming smiles set up the perfect mood for our dining experience. As we settled into our seats, it was clear that the restaurant was shining with eye-catching lights and chandeliers. The environment was modern, beautifully decorated, and well-lit. We could see the sushi chefs working immaculately to create the perfect rolls, and it was a treat to see their craftsmanship. We decided to take advantage of the grand opening special that the restaurant was offering and ordered a range of options from the sushi menu. The rolls were made from the freshest ingredients that melted in our mouths. We enjoyed every bite and indulged in sushi combinations that we never had tried before. Not only was the food immaculate, but it was also reasonably priced. We could not believe the value we received for the amount of food that we ordered. Sushi is famous for being expensive, but this was not the case with J sushi in Carson. We were thrilled to eat like kings and pay so little. The quality of the sushi was excellent, and the chefs were masters at their craft. The sushi rolls were beautifully presented, and the flavors were outstanding. Every bite was a new experience, and it was clear that great effort went into creating the perfect balance of flavors. Been to the J Sushi in Carson 2 times and this place is awesome, the staff are very friendly, customer service is awesome, the quality of food was fantastic, I definitely recommend dinning at J Sushi establishment in carson! Me and my family is definitely coming back. :)

I first tried J sushi in Brea and fell in love with their golden roll. They have several specials prices for their grand opening. The rolls are decently sized. I also got mixed tempura, very delightful. The batter was light and crispy. The miso soup was good. I got a side salad and it comes with this amazing dressing. Ten out of ten will order again.

The sushi here is amazing!! Complements to the chef! me and my best friend love to go here and order the baby pacific and golden dragon which is a popular roll. They have great music selections as you enjoy your meal. There's a male server there who never seems to be happy and kind of rude when you have to make requests. He was pleasant the first visit we had, but after that he became increasingly rude and seem to have an attitude during multiple visits. However, Im giving them a 5 star service because Liane D. who has served us on multiple visits always greeted us with a smile and a welcoming spirit! She's so sweet and knowlegeable about the menu. She is the reason we will continue to visit and the amazing rolls! Thanks Liane D and Chefs for amazing service and experience!

First time trying this place and i love hot cheetos roll! it was very flavorful. Miso Ramen was also good too. Restroom was super clean which means alot how this resaurent is... server melani was very helpful choosing menu. less than 25 dollar i was full. cant beat this price around this area. i am gonna try other rolls next visit i will be regular here.

Nice and attentive servers. Food was some of the worst I've ever had. Obviously microwaved and oversalted. Price was fine, a bit high for the low quality.

Weirdly I left a review after the fact but it seems to have been deleted. We have been trying to look for a new Sushi Spot. This one seemed to have good reviews. 4 of us (one toddler) got there an hour before closing. We were asked if we were take out or dine in, once we said dine in we were asked to take a seat. For a few minutes 3 of us had one menu. I had to finally say that wasn't working and got up to get two more. Guy at the counter apologized. There were only two other tables (2 and 3 people each) there with food. After a couple of minutes guy comes over and asked if all we were drinking was water "ok." Brought us waters and pretty much gave us a we have to order now. Got 4 rolls and 2 Miso Soups. The whole time was very rushed. We were not even given plates like you normally would. Good thing we were family and just shared. The avocado inside was probably the blackest they could find. Didn't say anything as my teen is branching out on foods. God willing there were no other issues. We had to ask for if we were getting our miso soups as the guy brought us our check first. "Oh yeah." When we tried to ask for more we were told they had already gotten rid of it. While two in our party went to the bathroom guy came over and said "he HAD TO do this now" as he cleared out our table even of water. My teen was disappointed as she was technically not done. We were out the door with 15 minutes to spare before "closing time." Drove away after bucking the toddle and they were closed. Not sure it was worth it. I understand people want to be out at the end of the shift but if you're going to rush paying clients that much then maybe make it a rule that only take out is available the last hour so people can leave.
