growing up here in northern new york and always having Jrecks whenever you want to moving away and no one had anything to compare ANYWHERE! Not to our happiness. So whenever we come home that is the first thing we have....of course along with the to die for Croghan Bologna and Fresh cheese curds. Jrecks is definately at the top of our list though. Nothing like their crushed red peppers either.

Jrecks never disappoints. Always excellent. My cousin was back in town and insisted on hitting up Jrecks before he left.

Every time I go home to NY I stop in and get a sub. The staff is always super friendly and the subs are a-maze-ing. try any of them with Russian dressing instead of mayonnaise!

We come here pretty often, usually ordering ahead bc it so much faster. Our usuals are the Italian, the cheeseburger add bacon sub, meatball and the cheesy ranch fries. The staff is always friendly. They do often forget cheese when ordering to go, which can be disappointing when my husband orders the meatball sub, though. I love that my food is always hot, even when I get it to go, and my food is always ready on time. Over all this is a nice local spot.

Staff was very friendly. Subs were decent. The bread was soft and not hard like other sub places. Variety of options. Wish the side of fries were larger lol. Small dine in area but no one seems to dine I anyways, good amount of parking for the size of the establishment. The sub making process is kind of slow but eh. Prices were decent for the quantity.

I love this place. I grew up on Jrecks subs and everytime I travel back into the area, I try to eat there at least once, sometimes I get to everyday and I do so happily!! Ingredients are always fresh, the personnel are always friendly and have smiles on their faces. They have a large selection and you can tailor your meal to fit your tastes. I would definitely recommend stopping in and saying hello

Came here since we were in the area and have been meaning to try Jreck subs and it was such a great experience! The staff was all so friendly and explained the menu as it was our first time trying it out, and it was made fresh and quick! They have a nice little seating area along with free drink refills which is a plus!!! As we got 2 Full Sub meals with Sweet potato fries And cookies; Chocolate chip & Macadamia Nut The Subs were very delicious and the cookies!!! But the fries were pretty crunchy and tasted a little burnt Probably their regular fries would be better, I'll have to try next time! But overall their subs are super delicious! Love their assorted sub rolls their Garlic one is they Also could use some more condiments to add on sandwiches like Banana peppers etc.

I recently purchased a turkey and Swiss cheese sub on white, with mayo tomato ,lettuce hot peppers, dill pickles, and of course shakes .and I was very disappointed . Jreck subs has been a family favorite of ours for 40+ yrs.. no matter where we have traveled nothing could compare. But this sub was nasty you changed was perfect with this sub. The roll was tasteless and the mayo was not mayonnaise. Not what jreck subs usually uses anyways. So sad this has changed. Won’t be buying anymore .

Normally I love jrecks, it's my favorite place to stop when I travel north. I have no complaint about the food, what so ever, but the service is another story. I couldn't get the girls name but she was really short and really rude, not just to be but to every customer in there. She acted like we were inconveniencing her to be there. I know working in that environment isn't easy right now, but at least treat your customers decent. Sorry your life sucks, but I really didn't mean to bother you by asking for cheese sticks.

Very poorly run business they don’t follow state code with masks you guys are not that good, I could see an entire box of masks in an office and when I asked for one they would not give them out, if you have masks don’t be selfish if jdrecks can’t afford extra masks for people then simply get free ones not a very good place to eat food is okay some employees make the business really bad

Employees were not very customer friendly. One employee was sweeping behind counter with out covering the lettuce and other condiments. She sweep dirt under the grill. Made me second guess eating my sub.

Ordered two regular subs on white one with lettuce tomatoes onions oil and shakes the other with everything but pickles.the sub was wrong they put them both on wheat.sub was nasty lettuce all watering.made buns soggy the one that was supposed to have peppers didn't .

I ordered a half turkey sub with russian dressing. The girl put a little on and I asked for just a little more. She gobbed a whole lot on. By the time I got to Copenhagen to eat it, it was a mess.

Uncooked bread, no flavor, screwed half the orders up, the grill was not ready for use at 1pm for some reason, dirty ice, dirty tables. An all around horrible experience.

Multiple workers there and they let a new employee do our 5 subs. Took him forever almost 30 minutes. Kept cutting through the rolls. They need to take down the top plexiglass because they're seriously having issues hearing customers order their subs. Keep having to repeat the orders. The new employee should've had help. The line was out the door.

Went in like 45 mins before closing and the bigger girl im assuming the shift lead because she always the one in their on nights was extremely rude, when i asked for ranch for my fries she threw it in their with a major attitude. it’s not the first time either anyone who goes in their relatively close to closing she cops an attitude. I’m not normally one to leave reviews so when i do you know the service is horrible. Ridiculous that someone in management acts like a child when we don’t even go in close to closing . definitely lost a customer unless it gets made right and she gets talked to cause that behavior is utterly ridiculous.

This establishment has gone down so bad in the past few years. Staff is very rude and act like you're bothering them. They play foul music and Im talking real foul!!!! They refuse to answer the phone when you call there specially on the weekends. I did at 1 time give this restaurant a 5 star rating and would eat there 3-4 times a week. If I could leave a 0 star rating I would and barely eat there now. I've worked fast food (Jrecks being one) for many many years and the way this staff runs this establishment is by far disgusting, and very unprofessional!!! DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS

My grand daughter went there tonight to order subs. If I could give this place a negative I would. First the employees a were extremely rude and appeared to be bothering them . Then they forgot to order a fry and when they told them the employees rolled her eyes. Their fried foods were put in the bags sideways and all the sauces tipped. I called to complain. And was told feel free to call back tomorrow when a manger is there. Three of the employees were not customer friendly. I hope this isn’t how all Jreck employees treat their customers.
