Rolled chicken tacos are awesome. Also, they were hella cool and kept my phone when I stupidly left it at the counter, and made sure it was mine before giving it back. They did give me spicy ranch instead of sour cream but I don't even care. Super grateful.

Clean and friendly, I had 2 receipts with balance of money left. A,d I found them wheat later, so I took they there on Redwood Rd, they accepted them and I got the food with no problem, just a smile.

ima give this a 5 star review because the staff working at the time me and 3 people were there were so nice they gave us a cup for "water" but the guy said get whatever drink u want for free.

Best taco bell I have ever been to in my life! We came at 3:30pm on a Saturday. Place was empty. The food was amazingly prepared! The cheesy bean and rice burritos are perfection. The Doritos taco shell was actually crispy and fresh for the first time ever! The quesadilla was also stuffed to perfection.

Best tacobell Ive been to hands down consistently also one of the closer ones Ive been to but still. Its always clean inside, the workers are always good enough to get jobs done quickly it seems from orders to getting the food out to the guest and its greatly appreciated. I should also mention that they just seem to have their portions set pretty well and know how to put together their food more than some other taco bell locations Ive been to.

Yesterday was a stellar day at Castro Valley Taco Bell . . . Why you ask? Everything was exceptional. Greeted with proper greeting and a smile. Only had to tell my order once. Food was ready in a flash. Did they hire The Flash? :) smile. Everything was made correctly and tasted fresh. Did I visit The Twilight Zone? All kidding aside thank you Taco Bell you did it right.

I am so happy that I can edit this review! Castro Valley Redwood rd Taco Bell is back on track. I recently went in to order late night and the crew was awesome, fast fresh hot food in minutes, they make sure you have your diablo sauce too!

I had my graduation party here back in June 2013. We worked with a gentleman by the name of Louis, he was friendly and very professional. The prices were affordable and the service was exceptional. The food was authentic and flavorful. I would definitely come back.

One of my favorite little hidden spots for breakfast. Staff is always so friendly, professional and well presented. The fact that there isn't a drive through I think drives people away. Making it far less busy and easy to get what you want quickly and easily. Should open earlier though.

Probably one of the best taco bells I’ve been to. I’ve come to this location a couple times and I enjoy the kiosk option. Tonight an elderly lady stood at the counter and explained that she doesn’t really know how to use the kiosk and one if the workers gladly helped her at the counter. It’s always clean and the workers are always quick with making the food.

All about this place is amazing. I always find the dinning area clean, the restrooms clean and the counter clean. The employees are very efficient and patient with people, even if the customer is rude they try their best to accomplish whatever the customer wants, which I have the bad luck to be present, because sometimes customer are excessive on their request. Anyways, this is the Taco Bell that you want to go.

Fast food served quickly and at a resonable price , nothing fancy but meal specails for $5 late evening is great, staff is polite and serve food quickly and correctly, worth a try if you get the late night munchies.

Relatively quick service, sometimes they skimp on the meat and filling, but you can't beat a crunchy taco for less than a buck!

I legitimately like the staff here. They're young, friendly, and don't hate their jobs yet. Easy on the eyes, too. Unfortunately, this is a walk-in only location with no drive-thru and that's why it's a four star Taco Bell instead of five.

Good late nite eats, open indoor seating after hours. The place has been renovated to their new Cantina concept and looks very clean and hip.

Honestly. This is about the only fast food places where $5 will still get you something to eat. No drive thru which is ok however For safety extra lighting would be nice as you have to walk inside and after 5pm it gets super dark

Besides all the homeless that frequent this place cause it's near Bart they keep it really clean behind the counter and all the staff is nice foods good so.etimes they get it wrong but hey who's counting

As far as Taco Bells go, this is a pretty good one. They're usually fast and always friendly. They keep the place clean and the guests are usually wholesome. Some Taco Bells tend to attract some rough guests, but this one is pretty good, at least from my visits. The food is always good and is delivered expected. It's my go-to Taco Bell.

This place is close to Castro Village Bowling alley. I've been here twice and each time I've waited a long time for food. This is the busiest Taco Bell I've ever been to. Both times I've visited around 6ish. But it's nice and clean. Friendly staff. No drive thru.

We went there late at night. The service was almost immediate. Unfortunately Taco Bell is known for not really giving you a ton of food for the money. What's wrong you get lucky and get somebody to actually puts a fair amount in like a burrito or something but otherwise they're kind of skimpy. Overall the dining room was pretty clean and not very busy which was nice.

I eat a lot of taco Bell. Sad to say. That being said, this is one of the nicer taco Bells close to my house. It has no drive-thru which I kind of like. I normally use drive-thru at other taco Bells but it's nice to just sit down in air conditioning and just pig out.

Service was good but location's ice machine broke down and the restaurant felt a bit dreary and dark.

The clientele was sort of seedy at 11pm. There is no drive through at the CV location. Food was fine. Workers very polite.

How confusing is the word "substitute?" Instead of meat, SUBSTITUTE black beans. Sounds simple, doesn't it. Nope, not here. After the battle she then says she will have to charge me extra for the black beans, despite the fact they're cheaper than meat. Aagghhh, SUBSTITUTE!!!

Open until 1 a.m most nights (2a.m. Friday and Saturday). Standard Taco Bell, a little run down, but food quality is fine.

It wasn't my best experience at Taco Bell people at the register or having some issues with another customers order so kind of messed up my order but all in all when the food got there it was just as good as any other Taco Bell.

How hard is it to make a Fresca Tostado with no cheese. I can understand if your overwhelmed with Customers. I was the only one there.

Smaller location with a small parking lot. I was there late in the evening and several transients were inside hanging out. One person appeared to be having some sort of mental health problem and was very disruptive. The manager finally decided to call the police. This could be pretty disconcerting for guests and would scare most customers away. Not sure why this was allowed for as long as it was and seating should be reserved for customers only.

Helpful, friendly, knowlegeable cashier. Made placing a special order easy. And the food preparers got everything right! However, the bathroom was messy and dirty so I took a star away.

Taco Bell, is Taco Bell. Sometimes it's good, but it is never great! It's fast food, what do you want?! But seriously, I wish they would stop using Acent in their lettuce. I get an allergic reaction to it (wheezing). I have to request no lettuce, of which takes away from the Fresh-Mex food experience. My wife likes the Natcho Bell Grande, with the extra cheese sauce. Guilty pleasures sometimes cost you...in more ways than one! If you know what I mean. There are many better places to get your Mexican Food fix, but on the run, you sometimes compromise!

Frequently "forget" to pack items in bag. Triple check before you leave. If you order online it will tell you your orders ready. You'll go into the store and they haven't even started yet. They jump up and scramble their stations to start making it. It's ridiculous

Honestly the only reason I’m giving more than two stars is because I truly appreciated how thoughtful and caring the worker named Joyce was. She made sure to get the order right and everything was fresh. I will keep coming back as long as Joyce works there.

The staff here are great: friendly, helpful, funny. Makes the fast food experience much better! As for the food, well, it's the Bell so you either love it or hate it 😁

I go to this Taco Bell once a week or so. The service time is usually good. The kiosks are a little clunky and have difficulty reading finger presses. The store is usually clean. There is some issues with vagrants in the area. The disabled parking is usually available. Although there have been times where I have seen cars parked in the no parking area directly in front of the door.

The last 2 times I've ordered food through GrubHub and ordered a Diet Pepsi, they've filled the cup with Regular Pepsi. It wouldn't be a big deal except for the fact that I'm keeping a close watch on my caloric intake, and it makes it difficult when the person behind the counter is adding 400 extra calories to my diet without my knowledge! Please pay closer attention... :(

The food is like any other taco bell. The wait is super long even if there is no drive through or barely anyone else there. They take their sweet time making your food. Service is employees are there to make food, no greeting. You realize you need to put your order manually because no one ever comes to the front cashier to take your order. No one in the kitchen acknowledges you're there. They just scream your name for your order and go back to the kitchen.

The kiosk is literally blocking people from standing in line. There is no cashier because he is packing stuff instead. People cut you off while waiting and are rude. For people who despise machines replacing people, this place has no drive through so you walk in and get a machine. That is NOT an advantage. Get a cashier!

My local Taco Bell. Parking is very limited. I counted and only 18 parking spots. So when I came in today on a busy day waited for a good 10 minutes before someone left and I was able to park. The line was moving quick and due to the self check out machine it went by really quick. The cashier was very friendly and seemed like he enjoyed his job. Waiting about 15 minutes for my food and I thought something was wrong. I walked up to the counter and they said they called my order. But I never heard my name called. Probably because of my name they didn't even bother trying to pronounce it. The food was made to the exact order that I made it. So I have no problems there. There were a few tables that were dirty. Didn't want to wait until the staff cleaned it so I just did it myself To make it go by quicker. Overall you get what you pay for.

The place had a rush right after I got my food. I sat down ate & relaxed. All customers had cleared out except a few arrivals. At this time the place was very dirty & in need of attention. The female who appeared to be the manager was sitting in the dining room w/ a male employee chating. The others behind the counter also seemingly looked like they were out of things to do! There was no leadership or ranking as far as I was concerned. Only minimal effort. I am again disappointed with this particular taco bell. Hey you higher ups make an effort to pop in and really listen to your customers. Lots of room for improvement!

This Taco Bell has become REALLY slow...there can be 6 people working, and it will take 20 minutes to make 3 Burritos. Maybe 3 or 4 other orders running simultaneously at most and still slow. Food usually comes out good, but at what cost? I'll order on the app, get there 15 minutes later and still have to wait 20 minutes. Not ok. However it is the only one near by, so they can get away with it. Captive audience I guess :(

What can i say ... Friendly service. It's a cool Taco Bell. Slow service especially in the late night. People were getting refunds and cancelling their orders because it was taking so long and they still didn't speed up the service. Took 20 minutes to get my order with only 2 other people ahead of me. Its a cool lil spot but could be a little bit faster service.

My experience at this taco bell was absolutely hilarious. This Taco Bell did not have a drive thru, so it was filled with drunk and high people. There were two older ladies in front of us High as a kite and took like 5 minutes to order. I was laughing historically the hole. So far a good time. So I don't have high standards for Taco Bell. But this was the greasiest Taco Bell I've ever had. More than regular greasy Taco Bell. I got the 12 pack tacos. It didn't come in a box, rather in a bag. The bottom of the bag was super soggy from all the grease it had absorbed and the grease and become one with the taco. I'd give this place one star, but If I told you it wasn't a super funny/fun experience id be lying. So extra star for overall experience.

No drive thru. Going inside and being forced to stand next to people who could be coughing or sick putting my health at risk is no bueno. The kiosks are too close together. Why they couldn't just put these outside is a mystery to me. Very embarrassing having to have my name read in public in front of other people, creating a security risk. Will not be going here ever again

I visited this Taco Bell location and was very disappointed with the food safety practices. An employee was cleaning the dining room with sanitizing solution, then went straight to the register and later to the back to handle food without changing his gloves. This is a clear violation of basic food safety guidelines. I spoke up because I did not feel comfortable with him touching the food after cleaning. Even after bringing it to their attention, the issue was not addressed properly. I would not return to this location again.

I saw a TV ad recently for something like a beef cheese burrito and decided I wanted to try it. While running errands, I saw a Taco Bell so I went in and tried to order it. The Staff person behind the counter could not identify what it was that I wanted. I gave up and just ordered a Beef Cheese Burrito and a Beef Soft Taco. They were pretty small but not very interesting or tasty. I tried adding some Hot Sauce packets and it helped some but it was just OK. When they run a TV ad and feature specific items, they should make it easy to order it. So I never got what I was looking for. And what I got was not all that great.

They don’t give much food and the manager doesn’t seem to care.

So slow, rude and they handed me a bag with crushed tacos! I couldn't eat it while I was driving and was just a further pain

I ordered 6 items but when i opend the bag at home, i found they only gave 3 items only in the bag. So i went back to the store and tell to the lady but she said she gave me 5 items and missed one item only..even though she gave me 3 missed items, i feel worst for that

I asked for 4 taco supremes with no cheese and once I got home I realized she had given me 4 crunchy tacos. There was no sour cream and no tomatoes. Staff should know the difference and if they are unsure then ask questions. My son said it was dry and waisted the food and my money. I live in Oakland and stopped there after church so I wasn't going to go back

They are very rude to their customers. The guy is the worst and threatens to call the police if you don't leave after his 5 minute warning they are closing. Prior to this an employee announced she would be mopping the floor in 10 minutes and was surprised and told her about what has happened many times when we were still eating. Paul also knocked on the door and waited outside the restroom for me to hurry up they were closed. He's also given 5 min notice to last min hungry customers and refusing service or being out of food they wanted to order. It really sucks because they are open until 2am on weekends to eat inside but I do not want my food spit on with his threatening behavior, bad attitude, refusing to give his name, no apologies for messing up the orders. There is also a girl that is the supervisor or Mgr both of them that are very LAZY and RUDE and need to be fired for being so arrogant and disrespectful!!!

Lousey!### they cheated my Mom. She gave them a $20 and change for a $10. We told manager and he said he would count drawer if we would just take a seat for a few minutes. I asked him to pull the tape off Camera. He claimed Cameras not facing that way. Any way he told us the drawer was not over and he could not give her the rest of money she must have made a mistake. We are upset and going to call Corporate.

Awful, just went there and took them 35 min. to make me a 7layer and 1 quesadilla to go, there were around 10 people waiting for orders as well, and they don't even have drive thru! So them being too busy isn't an excuse, Costumer service is bad.

I ordered 1 Nacho Fries at 4:13 pm 5 minutes later at 4:18 the kitchen staff hadn’t started in my order. During this time I was the only customer who placed an order or who was waiting for an order. This is unacceptable performance. I left the store without my order as had places to be.

Unprofessional cashier. This guy is the oppsite of customer service. This little dude has -10 patience for no reason. Also im very impressed by the fact that he has a job and acts the way he does. Eventually someone will snap by his behavior, it is that bad. If this kid has that bad of a temper why put him as a cashier? Blows my mind....

I recently visited this Taco Bell location and was disappointed with the speed of service. Despite placing a relatively small $20 order, I ended up waiting for nearly 30 minutes for my food. Needless to say, this was frustrating and made me regret my decision to dine there. While the food itself was decent and up to the usual standard of Taco Bell, the slow service made the experience far from enjoyable. In fact, the long wait time made me feel like I had wasted my time and I would have appreciated some form of compensation or apology for the inconvenience. Overall, while the quality of the food is still good, the slow service at this particular location leaves much to be desired.
