Fairfax Brewing Company is a refreshing addition to downtown Fairfax and after tonight’s peek at a tasting and flight selection, it promises to become a local favorite. The brewery offers a diverse array of craft beers, each brewed with precision and flavorful names to match like Liquid Sunshine IPA, Tamalpais Tripel and Railway Rice Lager…something to please every palate. The food menu we sampled offered the right size bar bites with a flair- tuna tartare tacos topped with seaweed; sweet pepper sausage on a mini roll; corn flour beef tacos; and the quintessential beer battered fish n chips. With its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to quality, FBC will be a favorite for its exceptional brews, bites and a vibrant community gathering spot.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food, service and, of course, the beer was. The garlic fries are even better than Iron Springs. The fish tacos were yummy as well. I loved Fairfax Brewing Company!! So happy to have a great local place back. Thank you.

It’s astonishing that it took so long for a proper restaurant and brewery to finally nail the is location - but it seems we finally got a winner! The food is a perfect variety, well-priced, and I’ve yet to try something I didn’t love. I was on a not drinking month, so excited to get back in and try some of the beers and see what the hype’s about. Stoked to have this nearby and become a community staple!

We recently visited the new brewery in town and were thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing evening out. We ordered the nachos, and they were absolutely delicious, topped with perfectly cooked chicken. The flavors were spot on, and the portion size was generous. It’s great to have such a wonderful local spot to enjoy good food and drinks. Also, you can't miss out on the cucumber salad. Highly recommend checking it out!

This place is awesome. Every time I go, I leave happy. I've tried a few of the beers, all of them have been great. My favorite is the Fuego Fuerte Especial. The food is also great. I love the wings of the week... every week has been a hit so far. The service is spectacular. The wait staff is friendly and on top of it. I also love their branding. They've created a fun, relaxed space to hangout in. I would go daily if money and calories did not exist.

Actually went here a few weeks ago but meant to write a review and just remembered. It was a chilly but beautiful Saturday evening and we wanted to sit outside. The host greeted us promptly and was friendly and accommodating. They have heat lamps for some of the tables outside, they definitely help on a cold night. The server (can’t remember her name, young brunette lady), came out promptly, and was nice as well. The food (a burger and garlic fries for my bf and steak frites with a side salad for me) came out unbelievably fast. It felt like minutes. How? I don’t know, but it was so good. The steak was tender and flavorful, the sauce fresh and lovely, fries crisp and delicious, and the salad was great quality with a great dressing. Sometimes I think breweries phone in the food and I was so happily surprised. Bf really liked his burger. Oh! And another great thing is they have homemade hot sauces. Both delicious. Great experience, can’t really speak to the beer but the food and service was great!

I was at this restaurant on a Saturday night with the kiddos and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Belgian tripel I had was excellent, as was the steak and fries, my kids’ burger and my husband’s fish tacos. There’s a little arcade in the back with skeeball and Pac-Man, among other games, that kept the kids entertained while I had a delicious and relaxing meal. Honestly, I’m grateful such a good place is close by. Top notch everything. And the design inside makes it feel like some cool vintage find. Love it all!!

Cool modern airy space with a nice vibe and tasty food and that hazy ipa… so good. only wish i lived closer so I could frequent more often. Definitely feels good to support locals.

This spot is amazing!! My kids say its the best chicken strips they've ever had, and the full bento box meal is so great. The cold cucumber salad, whipped feta, and the poke bowl are my faves. But everything we've tried has been so delicious!

The fish tacos are cooked perfectly, amazing, and a generously- sized serving! The creamy limeade drink is truly exceptional. So tart and refreshing! The white bean soup is nourishing and the tofu side is savory. Our deliightful server was bright, funny, and positive. We will definitely return for the good food and drinks served with exceptional warmth and hospitality!

But the menu is varied - love the lumpia, bulgogi, tacos and nachos as well. The recent revelation is how much better the beer is now than when it first opened. I've always liked their Pastori pilsner, Fuego Fuerte lager, and Repack Red amber, but the Lazer Coyote Hazy is awesome now as is Town & Country IPA and the Liquid Sunshine Double IPA. Great, friendly atmosphere, lots of space, and the MOST comfortable bar seats ever! Works perfect for lunch, dinner, and just some good beer drinking. Get there!

A great place to settle in with a good beer in an extremely busy neighborhood. The outside seating is surrounded by the constant buzz of traffic and bicycles going by.

We took our dog to the new grooming place in the area, and my partner and I decided to eat lunch here. I ordered the fax cheeseburger with bacon and bean soup. The cheeseburger was alright, nothing special about it to be priced at $19. The bacon and bean soup was a joke. I don't know what they were thinking when they made the recipe for this soup; it did not taste good at all. Bacon and beans are not a good combination. My partner ordered nachos with carne asada, and boy, that was the most expensive nachos we've ever tried! It was priced at a whopping $31 for an average nachos. It was way overpriced with melted but cold cheese. It wasn't even all that. I've tried nachos somewhere else with better taste and cheaper.

Overall, this place falls short on both value and service. I wanted to like it, but it’s just not worth the trip.
