Really great food at a fair price. Fantastic atmosphere (except for them having to follow the pointless covid rules). Menu is available in English. No reservations, usually a short but worthwhile wait.

Wonderful food, prompt service, nice indoor and outdoor seating, halal options, reasonable prices for good quality, fancy drinks to have whilst enjoying the lovely views of the waterside promenade. Great place to eat after a day of shopping, I'd definitely recommend you eat here 😁

Loved it we had fun there!!! Food was great and the server was really nice to us yanks with only knowing two words in German 😣 the view of the water and the Ferris wheel was really fun add to atmosphere

Really nice staff! There is no English menu so we had to use Google translate. The food was good but the schnitzel was small for a classis schnitzel. The iceteas are really good! We had the must try one. Overal experience was good! Going back when we are near!

The food here is very good, the only only problem that we encounter was the waiting time. We finally started eating after waiting for like 45 minutes. The time to order drinks was like 5 minutes. The time to finally have our drinks is like 10 minutes. The time to finally order something were almost 20 minutes. And after 10 minutes we finally started eating. This is all after asking the staff that we want to order something.

Nice large restaurant, but a big disadvantage that all the smoke from the terrace entered through the open windows making it very unhealthy for staff and visitors. The quality of the food, especially the vegetarian falafel salad was very good. Took a long time to prepare despite the place was far from full.

This is not the first time we are in Alex actually...But for sure the worst of the experience in terms of service...had to wait around 35 mins for the server to arrive at the table and additional 10 mins for the drinks...Not even a simple greeting from anyone or any info about waiting was not given when we ver seated...Came in for dinner but had to just settle down with drinks as didn't wanna wait for food any longer...Have seen waiters talking to the adjoining table for 20min completely ignoring the fact that there are other tables too.... Need to improve on the timelyness of the service which could solve the major issues in the restaurant. Besides that the lemonades were really nice in taste.

Very rude people. We and two other families at other tables next to us sat down. We waited a few minutes and tried to get the attention of the waitress, she denied to answer. Then After a long wait a young male waiter came and threw some reservation cards on our tables and yelled something and vanished. We tried to communicate with them still no word or apologies from their side and they refused to serve us or even show us a menu. Unacceptable service, in any case if you cannot serve people just come to table, apologise and ask people to leave, You don't need to yell or be rude.
