Our server, Reynaldo, was attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We started our meal with an order of chimi rolls - delightfully seasoned, shredded chicken and sweet corn stuffed in a fried tortilla, topped with a slightly spicy chipotle sauce and salty cotija cheese crumbles. We had a few questions about items on the menu and he quickly had answers for us. I joked that I was a bit disappointed with the lack of authentic Mexican style tacos (corn tortilla, meat, onion, cilantro, and picante sauce). Right away, he made the recommendation to try their steak tacos al carbon with a few modifications he’d make for me. He was spot on and came out with a plate of delicious food including the rice and refried beans. My husband tried a steak quesadilla and was pleased with the flavor and size of his meal. Reynaldo, thank you for a great experience! We will definitely be back and hopefully served by you again!

Nice enjoyable night out. The raspberry margarita was top notch. Chips and salsa was a nice touch. The queso was just as good as the salsa. Friendly staff. Will come again for more indulgences.

I was visiting Winchester for business and was advised to try this restaurant during my visit. I was not disappointed. The service was top tier, and the food was exemplary!! I initially visited for dinner and ordered the Chimi Rolls and a TacoSalad. I went back two days later for lunch and ordered the Los Cabos Tacos with shrimp. I was thoroughly pleased during each visit.

Good food and service was excellent. I had steak burritos with a mango margarita. The steak was very tender not dried out like a lot of Mexican restaurants I have been too. Margarita was good.

I went to El Centro on Father's Day with my wife and daughter. It was very busy, but our server was excellent. I had the tacos, and my wife and daughter had Chimichangas. Each entre came with rice and black beans. I think the best part is the atmosphere. You can sit by a window and watch people on the mall, or you can be seated outside. We had an excellent server.

Wednesday night in downtown Winchester is a great dining experience. Many fine restaurants to pick from. The staff at El Centro was great and very. knowledgeable when it came to food and drinks. The drink came out quickly, and beer was cold. Indoor dining near a big window on a hot day is perfect. The food was good and the menu selection was large. Casual and an easy choice to make.

Our visit to El Centro was nothing short of delightful. We entered on a cold, rainy day and were immediately greeted with fresh, warm chips and tasty salsa that helped take the chill off. The food we ordered was fresh and delicious, with each dish exceeding our expectations. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was comfortable and relaxing, which added to our pleasant dining experience. I would definitely recommend El Centro to anyone looking for great food in a cozy setting.

Good food. My fajita pan came late..but it was hot. Updated..had the shrimp and scallop especial tonight. Was awesome! The Margarita was delicious.

YES! Attentive service, wonderful food, great drinks, my fav drafts. I had the Plato Matador - steak, chicken and chorizo plus the sides of black beans, rice, lettuce, pico. it was superlative! the other guest had shrimp and scallop fajitas, also really good! Drinks included draft XX Amber and Negra Modello, and a mango margarita that was killer good! It was clean and the service was excellent. Patio seating was right in the middle of Old Town Winchester's Pedestrian Mall.

Had a great lunch with the family here. Really conveniently located in the center of the Old Town area of Winchester. The staff was very understanding of a fussy child, and the food was delicious. My burrito was delicious, and my fussy child's Mac and cheese was good too. Everyone else loved their food too! The atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, and there was a nice bar area for more adventurous nights.

Came reccomended by the locals...we were there around noon on a Friday. Food was ok... Hubby is from southern Colorado so he is particular about his Mexican food, while I'm more Americanized. Chips n salsa yummy. I had the Mexican egg rolls which were fine. Hubby got chicken enchiladas also fine. There was a little while where you could smell burning oil which was not pleasant.

My wife and I were visiting family and had dinner here. The food was very good. I had the beef burrito and my wife had the chicken burrito. Our niece ordered the mango salad. Very fresh and tasty. Our server was attentive and very friendly. The restaurant was nicely decorated and very clean. There is also a bar and outdoor seating available. We walked out not feeling weighed down but satisfied. Downtown Winchester is beautiful and very quaint.

John was our bartender, he was very slow. Hung out at the hostess stand when our food was dropped off. Never came and checked on us to see if we needed anything. I had to go find him to get our bill… we were going to get more to drink but because of how the whole experience we went we decided to just close out. Getting our drink order just starting out was a very slow process. If the place was busy we would have been more understanding. All of us working in the service industry this was a major disappointment.

My family has been visiting El Centro since 2018. Over all we have had good experiences there up until last night. The service was a major disappointment. We didn’t get our servers name because she did a poor job of introducing herself and we hardly saw her the entire time we were there. My wife and sister ordered fajitas and they came out dead after a very long wait for our food. I could go on but those infractions were the biggest issues we had on this visit. Really disappointed in El Centro right now. I hope they do better in the future.

My family and I were visiting the Winchester area and decided to eat there. The waitress seemed annoyed right away that my family was seated in her station. We did not feel welcomed at all. The silverware was very dirty so my son asked for plastic silverware. This seemed to annoy the waitress even more. A young man took over and brought out our food. The food was horrible. The vegetables were so mushy and burnt. My son and daughter did not eat so we asked for boxes to go. Although the new waiter was better than the waitress we didn't feel comfortable at all. That food should not have been brought to our table. So over $200 dollars wasted. Although I would have complained to a manager my family said let's just go. We will never eat there again.
