We have been attending for at least 13 years! Love that for the most part it's like a real country fair/🍎 HARVEST. Farm tractors and very old antique steam engines that do many things that you can watch! Our children & adult children love it! The food -scrapple, most things apple, and more! Vendors, we appreciate the unique and hand crafted ,handmade items mostly. Petting zoo & crafts for children to do! Just a great family fun filled 🍎 Harvest!😊

It was our first time there. Very busy on second Saturday. Lots of buses to bring you in from the fields.

This was my first year as a craft vendor. Amazing is the best way to put it. Everything is very organized. The staff is on top of their game at all times. When there was an issue I sent an email between weeks and it was taken care of. We had no problem running credit cards using Verizon, others did with different carriers. Food, great. Bathrooms taken care of. Yes, there is a lot of people but as a vendor that's wheat we want. Tina is the absolute best to deal with. Looking forward to next year.

Each year the Festival changes a little, and 2025 was great. I'm a senior citizen so food booths are my favorites. The pit roasted beef sandwiches are a bit pricey, but they are huge, delicious, and make a meal for a big person. Apple crisp with icecream is outstanding. There were soft butter pretzels in a skillet I've never tasted before... and they my favorite of all time. Kettle corn was perfect and worthy of getting a big bag. I tried other foods and didn't find a bad one. Attractions are always interesting and entertaining. The handicap bus hauled us from the special parking area in the field to the Festival grounds, and you don't have to wait a long time to get a ride. I'm 83 and will try to go again next year. The gravel streets are quite rough when using a Rollator, but there's usually a smoother area on the sides. An enjoyable place to go.

They call it NATIONAL for a reason. It's extremely busy the 1st weekend f October. Go the second weekend for a better less crowded experience. You will want to bring extra bags, a rolling cart and a friend to help carry out all the apple goodies you buy from beverages, food and crafts.

This festival was so much fun. The live entertainment was great! Watching apple cider being made was educational. The number and variety of stalls was impressive. One downside was the crowd. We waited over 1/2 and hour to get in and that was at 8:30 AM. Also, if you was the pit roasted sandwich, get in line early! Otherwise, I and my family had a very enjoyable day out.

Update for 2024: returned for my second year and had a great time. Parking and shuttles were easy (went Sunday). Vendors were still excellent, pit beef, ribeye steak sandwiches, apples fritters you name it! As you can see the weather was much warmer this time around. Awesome festival. Tons of food: hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, pit beef, chicken bbq, Apple everything, beer, wine, hard cider etc. Really well organized and laid out. Easy parking with free shuttles. Had a great time can't wait for next year!

Our first time visiting the National Apple Harvest Festival and we all had a great time. There was so much to see and do. We were definitely worn out from all of the walking! Looking forward to going again next year.

National Apple Harvest Festival was a great place to go for a day trip. I went with my Father and we ate so much good food: Apple Crisp, Pit Beef sandwiches, Kettle Corn, Funnel Cakes, etc. There were many many vendors on exhibit, plus musical performances and even a petting zoo. It was a wonderful day.

Really enjoy this festival. Like everywhere else, prices are certainly rising here also. Lots of variety. It pays to shop around before you buy. Found some serious differences in prices. Some affordable, some not. Lots of fun to visit.

Came here for the first time this year. It was not exactly as we expected based on the name and knowing nothing else about it. I'd describe it as 2/3 County Fair and 1/3 Apple festival, with thousands of attendees in a remote location. We drove in from about 4 hours away. Lots of food vendors, crafts vendors, an auto show, live music, dancing, petting zoo, hay rides, etc. Some fun for everyone that comes. Definitely lots of people. We were a little disappointed it wasn't more Apple focused. There were a couple stands to get Apple cider/juice but the lines were typically extremely long. I think more vendors focused on that would have helped. The location is off of a remote rural road so they were diverting/stopping traffic on these small roads and causing backups pushing back close to a mile. Hard to find how to get around town because GPS kept directing me through roads that were clogged by festival traffic. Felt trapped and had trouble leaving town. All in all it was a fun experience. I don't think I'd recommend traveling more than a couple hours to experience it though. Just not all that unique.

It is popular and crowded. We got parked in a remote lot at 1151 and waited in a line for the free shuttle bus for about 30 minutes. We got there after a 5 min ride. There is a lot to see and eat. Admission is 10 each adult and you can pay by card. Inside, some of the vendors don't take card so grab cash before you arrive or use an atm at the festival itself. Car show, antique tractors and engines, pony rides, music and live bands, crafts... wow! Plenty of unique food vendors so come hungry. Plan on spending about 4 hours there to see most things. It is an all day adventure. Longest lines before 2pm then it thins out. You'll have a good time

Great for a casual Saturday event. Wouldn't travel for it if I wasn't local. Get there early to avoid the insane crowds. Also, bring cash, barely any vendors take card.

While the music was good and the vendors talented, this was a unsatisfactory visit. Too many people and too many long lines. Not a place to take your elderly folks since they made us walk a quarter mile through poison ivy to get to the gate where we again had to wait in line just to show our online tickets.

We hadn’t even parked the car yet before thinking this would be a bust. Zero signs for parking, but at least there were many attendants directing traffic. I brought my two young kids, who had to be carried the entire time, through no fault of their own. The number of people in attendance made setting them down unsafe. We arrived ready to eat lunch, but the lines for food vendors were outrageously long. Then, because of the lines, we couldn’t properly see the vendors’ stalls. What we could spy between the body parts of others seemed cool, but then we were pushed along by the crowd. And somehow, the most unbelievable thing of all was having a smoking area right next to the kid’s area. With all the open space at this OUTDOOR festival, they really had to put a smoking area directly next to an area designated for kids?

If I could give it a ZERO I would. This was the most unenjoyable outing I have ever attended. Like the PA Ren Faire finally learned, you must cap your attendance. Waiting on the bus from Wolf Field to make a left turn took 30 mins. Once you were dropped off, NO ONE directed where you should go if you had previously purchased tickets online. You need to take the lead from the Farm Show and have a food court. Having lines over 45 mins. long not only deters someone from waiting, but it interferes with anyone trying to shop a craft vendor. The inability to shop over 50% of the vendors negates the reason they were there - just to remind you, they came to sell their craft!! The food vendors were unprepared to serve the amount of patrons. They need to be prepared. To see people wait 30 mins. for lemonade because only one person was making it, was unacceptable. The same with the funnel cake stand (and not the pumpkin one). And one final note, there was only 1 stand that sold bulk apples! Are you kidding me! I've committed to never again attending any event at Mt. Hope and now the same goes for the NATIONAL Apple Festival.

Get told that handicapped lot is for people with scooters and wheelchairs. Next person tells us that lot is full. So which is it? Get your stories straight... Really. I had a fractured femur and had a rod put in my leg. Hard to get on a bus. Other person tells us white handicapped vans are around. Well, never tell you what lot they go into or if your people have to dispatch them. Very, very disorganized festival. Drove this far for disappointment.

I would pass on this if you have little kids or elderly people with you. - Traffic was an extreme pain point. Up to about a hour wait only half mile away from the event. Coordinators did show up halfway through. Parking in giant wet field with knee high grass and spots of poison ivy. Had to pick up kids to get through, saw people with walkers and canes really struggling. -Staff seemed disorganized. The check in line was going strong, then they shut one done, then moved lines. When we left the only way out was the line in and you had to walk through of oncoming traffic. There was a path rooed ofc that people were using so we passed over and some dude starting yelling at us physically trying to push us back over the rope. Keep in mind this stretch we tried to walk had no traffic aside from handful of other hers already leaving the park. Very unprofessional and uncomfortable. - Food was ok. Petting zone and kid stuff was very very small. Expected more craft and cool stuff and was met with cheap trinkets bought off temu for resale. Antique stuff was interesting to look at. But the venue was sooo crowded you had no room to really enjoy things. All in all not worth time, energy, money… much better places to spend a weekend
