Great place in town for really good Italian food. We had the ravioli filled with shiitake mushrooms with a creamy pesto. Wine was nice. And the chocolate cake was the best I’ve had. So moist and light. No frosting and it didn’t need any. Recommend this spot!
We love the food! Jose and Mary always have excellent specials and main dishes. Never had a meal that wasn't exceptional! The 3 of us had salmon picatta, gnocchi pesto, prime rib and champagne-melon soup (cold), we cleaned our plates!
While traveling: This was an outstanding family owned Resturant in a small town. Excellent food, service and atmosphere with live suttle music. Do over for sure!
The Best Experience of my life! The Food was awesome, the service impecable! Best most richest food I've ever had! The wine, awesome! Totally worth the cost! Be prepared to spend but totally worth it! Absolutely going back at least once s month! Totally awesome!
I loved this place. Service was traditional and professional. The bbq oysters were good. Lamb scallappi was tender and sauce very spicy. Wine a little disappointing in that not more local wines were offered. Ambience was warm and comfortable.
We had dinner with family while visiting from out of town. This restaurant is cozy and warmly welcoming. We shared BBQ oysters and I had linguine with clams. Both were delicious.
Love it. The family that run the place are quite friendly and good chefs. Wide variety of food. Reasonable wine prices. Comfortable. Every time I come up to Healdsburg I drive the extra 17 miles to come here.
We stopped by here on our way to Mendocino. We placed our order over the phone and were running about 5-10 minutes late. They were kind enough to accept the order and wait for us to get there. We ordered a combination of veg and non veg appetizers and entrees, everything tasted great especially the rock fried shrimp with white garlic sauce and the fruit crepe that was complementary, we were all in love with it! They gave us complimentary desserts including tiramisu, crepes and cheesecakes, all tasted amazing! Hospitality at its best! I highly recommend this place to anyone's who's looking for great authentic Italian food with excellent service! P.S:- we also got their special Syrah Italian wine, yumm!
Food is good and staff friendly and helpful.
What a wonderful little gem of an Italian restaurant! Stopped in while traveling and thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. They had a solo guitarist who was a nice addition. The bruschetta was delicious and so was the veal. The tortellini was also very good. To finish, a delicious Tiramisu closed out the meal. I recommend when you're in the Cloverdale area, check out Piacere!
Extremely family friendly and OUTSTANDING service. My wife and I brought our dogs and they sat us outside. Without asking they brought out a water bowl for our dogs. The bbq clams were incredible! I highly recommend this establishment!
The food is incredible. Friendly employees, and long-time local owners, including the fabulous chef.
The food is delicious! Moderately pricey but well worth the cost. Small and quaint. I would consider it romantic. There is a small bar and a great desert menu. One of my favorite places.
Wonderful family-run Italian restaurant. It was a night when they were serving only a course meal, but when Jose (the owner/chef) saw us standing out front looking rather lost and with 3 kids, he welcomed us in and cooked us delicious pasta from the menu and off. We had the vongole and mushroom ravioli--delicious!
After showing the parentals our venue we meandered down to Cloverdale and saw this little gem. We arrived 30 minutes prior to opening but they lovely owners still sat us. The food was amazing, steamed clams & BBQ oysters for appetizers. Father in law picked up bruschetta and crab/lobster cakes plus house made tiramisu for desert. Mother in law got the veal Marsala. And the wife and I split the special; salmon picatta with a house made butternut squash soup. All with a lovely bottle of red. Needless to say we were all impressed, planning on Piacéres as our rehearsal dinner location!
I do not have enough good words to say about this establishment. Food was amazing, service was impeccable, and desserts were amazing. The live music was great as well.
Live piano music on a Thursday night. You can bring your own wine. The food was delicious
We just moved to Cloverdale and were looking for a restaurant and we decided to give this place a try and we're glad we did. Great service, good food and nice live music on the weekends. I love how the chef comes out and make sure eveeything is okay. I highly recommend this place.
The love is in the food, the service, the ambience. This is the epitome of a family restaurant that achieves fine dining. I think this I'd my second review because we eat here whenever traveling brings us near. I advise you do, too.
By far the most nicest kindest people ever! Excellent customer service.
What a GEM! We had a special occasion there for no other reason than we were treated so specially. The service was friendly and attentive from the first moment. The food was amazing, fresh, and very high quality ingredients (I can tell the difference). Chef came out to check with us. I asked a server if they were all family because it appeared they could have been. He said no, pointed to the chef, his wife and daughter and said he and the others are not family but happily stated “we are treated as if we are”. My wife ordered the Barbeque oysters and a bowl of clam chowder. She said the oysters were the best possible and my taste of the clam chowder was also among the best I’ve ever had. I ordered one of the specials - a Penne with seafood and it was loaded with seafood and amazing as well. The house made Tiramisu was so light and fresh. My house salad was so fresh with local lettuce and tomato’s and a fantastic house Italian dressing. I don’t often leave reviews but this one was so well deserved how could I not?
My dinner, with friends, was outstanding... WHEW! The food was almost TOO GOOD TO Eat .. Loved it 💞! Staff members provided excellent service and were strategically attentive. I'm going there again with other friends... Next week. NOW TELL ME! Is Cloverdale becoming the next hidden gem for evening dining?🤔
We had dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated immediately though we had no reservations. The food was excellent as was the service. Prices were average for that level of dinning. There was good live music from a one-man band. We will return next time we are in Cloverdale.
Very nice food, cozy heated outdoor seating. Live music on the night we were there was fun and not too loud or disruptive. Huge portions. This was a quality Italian dining experience, my wife and I found the place randomly just by exiting the freeway and following the FOOD road signs. We both enjoyed it and will probably go back again when we are in the area.
Came here for restaurant week. We are so happy with the food and service. Generous amount of food. I had steak and scallops. Husband had veal and shrimp. Ohh they have this cabbage thing so yummy. Good bread and butter.
What a treat this place was! A completely unexpected surprise. We were driving down pretty late in the evening and this looked like the only place open. Usually that doesn't instill confidence but boy were we wrong. Husband and wife owned and operated and you can taste the dedication and love in every bite we took. Can't wait to visit this wonderful place again!
We always receive the best service. Quality of food never changes. Best rack of lamb, delicious chocolate delight! Thursday night had the most enjoyable trio playing! Very pleasant ambiance.
This is our favorite restaurant in Cloverdale! We always enjoy the food and atmosphere during all our visits :)
I love this place. Family run, great food, nice quiet ambience. Entree prices are a touch high, but food is excellent.
First Rate preparation of veal scallopini done quickly and expertly by the gentleman shown seated here. The accompanying vegetables were a mrvel to behold and even more dazzling to consume . The entire staff was polite friendly and beautifully attentive and just the way you would like in a fine dining establishment. An incomparable Zinfandel completed this perfect meal.
All food is great. We came here with 8 family members and friends. Oh wow this 2as really good.
Food was delicious and service was great!
This place is amazing. Best Italian food I've had since moving up here 7 years ago. My new favorite spot.
Amazing as always. Food was off the chart delicious! And of course, Jose, Mary, Nicole and all the staff are so friendly and personable!
We had a really nice dinner. I ordered the Calamari Steak! We also enjoyed the live music!

Piacere Ristorante Italiano – Cloverdale What a delicious experience! Piacere Ristorante Italiano delivers amazing food, a vibrant atmosphere, and true Italian comfort. I happened to visit on a busy Wednesday night, and the place was full of happy locals—laughing, talking, and enjoying incredible meals. A true sign of a special restaurant. They offer a fantastic Wednesday special for $19.99, which includes your choice of soup or salad and a great selection of main courses—from tender steak and flavorful shrimp to a rich, comforting stroganoff. Every dish felt homemade, generous, and full of love. A special thank you to Mary for the warm welcome and wonderful service—it truly made the evening feel personal and inviting. Dining here reminded me of a classic family meal: full tables, full bellies, and joyful conversations all around. Piacere is absolutely a place for family, friends, and anyone who appreciates authentic Italian food and a welcoming atmosphere. A must-visit in Cloverdale—delicious food, great energy, and a restaurant that feels like home. 🍝🍷
I was pleasantly surprised when walking into Piacere to find a lovely decorated ambiance. A family run business with friendly staff. I wanted the Eggplant Parmigiana but was told they didn’t have any. The chef and owner came over to our table and explained the eggplant has not been up to his standards and offered Zucchini Parmigiana and I thought it would be a great substitute. Not disappointed. It was delicious. But the real treat was Mary’s Terimisu. Wow, one of the best I’ve ever had and my standard is very high for Terimisu. I told everyone we met over the next few days in the area that they had to go to this restaurant.
This is a wonderful restaurant. Service was fantastic, food was the best and the environment perfect. I had a steak perfectly cooked to medium rare on the rare side.
Terrific meal .....presentation was outstanding. I wish they would have given me a little more clam chowder which was delicious. Great service...nice atmosphere
I absolutely love this place from the food to the service. They have a great group of servers/bussers and of course an amazing cook. Definitely recommend going on Wednesdays they have great specials.

The soups are always very good but they rely too heavily on their seasonings for pricey cuts of meat like the steak. Maybe it pairs nicely with a certain wine but having not had the wine, it was still pretty good
Really nice Italian place that’s in the middle of a relatively quiet area and this was on the way to SF from a trip I had further north! Food: We got the mushroom soup and bolognese pasta which was the perfect combo of carbs for the half marathon we ran the next day! They also give really yummy free bread! The pasta was standard but just enough food to make me feel full. Service: They check up on you relatively frequently but it seems like they are also pretty busy so you might need to wait for your requests to be fulfilled. Ambiance: This is a more finer dining experience and it was a very pretty inside area that was simply lit. Overall the experience was really nice and I enjoyed the good pre race meal!
This was our first visit, and we were pleasantly surprised. The service was quick and efficient. We ordered the caprese salad and it came with roasted garlic, spicy white beans, mango and papaya, peppers, olives. It was amazing. I got the chicken rosa marina, and my husband got the chicken saltimboca. They were both cooked perfectly and very tasty. They were served with fresh garlic mashed potatoes and mixed veggies (fresh). We were too full for dessert, but the homemade tiramisu looked fabulous.

Darn! What could have been a wonderful dinner was tarnished by a family at the table right next to us. 4 liters of wine on the table. LOUD is the word....it went on non-stop for the 2 hours we were there (it was a LONG wait for our meal, which made it even worse). Shouting, back-slapping, not a care in the world about anyone else in the room. And their kids were running wild hooting and screaming. These people never even gazed at others around the crowded room. They were totally into themselves. It was just awful. I swear- this seems to be the standard behavior of much of the world these days...or at least the world we see. Drivers. Shoppers. "ME" is the word of the day. The hell with anybody else. Entitlement. We were afraid to say something to them- who knows how they'd react! We should have asked to be re-seated elsewhere, our bad. But it ruined an otherwise usually nice (and costly) experience. The food itself was quite good, however, and we've enjoyed many excellent experiences there in the past.
Decent casual Italian food, but nothing to write home about. BBQ oysters were truly drenched, covered, slathered in garlic butter and BBQ sauce. I prefer things a bit more subtle that let the quality of the ingredients stand by themselves; this was more quantity over quality. Service was decent. Some other customers were loud and a bit obnoxious. Just go in expecting casual and it's fine. Plenty of dishes can be made vegetarian, but not really anything vegan.

The most expensive item listed on the menu was $29. We listened to the specials and both chose stroganoff, no wine but drank colas. Our bill came to over $85. That means our stroganoff was in excess of $39 each, more than the Veal/Prawns. Thankfully we brought our excess home and ate twice more from that.
After reading reviews I drove 40 miles to take my mother for dinner. However, there website stated open at 4pm. At 4 website stated they were open. Arrived to a closed restaurant. Called and message said they are closed on Tuesday. This was my mothers 89th birthday. Damn disappointing
I really liked the dressing on the salad. However, that was the only thing that I liked. The attitude of the woman serving us was just unacceptable I've been to Taco Bell's where I received better service. I understand not everyone has the same taste in food so I can definitely get past not loving it myself however I cannot get past the way our waitress spoke with us. She talked to us like we were inconveniencing her the entire time. The most upsetting part was when my friend stated that she was a vegetarian as to get her entree vegetarian style then asked what was in the soup was told that it was just onions and herbs then found meeting it and our waitress acted very indifferent about the whole thing and just stated oh I don't know if it's in there when we very clearly showed her a piece of bacon that had been pulled from the bowl. An apology would have been nice as my friend is vegetarian for health reasons rather than a moral standpoint. You would think after such a big mistake on her part she would have a apologize or be at least treated us a little nicer especially when we asked for something as simple as splitting the check.
