Good healthy food since I've been on a diet calories range from 600-1100. Pizza is really healthy and the salad is a big bowl. Sandwiches are really tasty aswell.

Cobb salad was delicious. Got a bite of the BBQ chicken pizza and it was outstanding. (The white sauce surprised me by being especially unique and tasty.)

We enjoy going h here in a group after church. Food is always fresh and made the way you want. I like my salad tossed but others don't and they bring it how you want it!

The employee I had the pleasure of meeting was Courtney. She was genuine, nice and very helpful. I was just in there for a minute picking up lunch, but she made the experience a joy! Keep her around!

My first visit there and I was pleased with my meal. I ordered the Mediterranean Pizza and it was delicious. A lot of toppings and good portion size. Staff was very friendly & helpful.

Ran into one of these out of town and it was good. So I tried the one here in BCS, really good. The mac n cheese is really yummy and I want to try a new steak and mushroom pizza they had advertised today. Working my way down the menu lol. :D

Always good fresh food

Great place to eat, always. And when school is not in session, it works for a medium size group (10 people). Really want to thank manager who happened to overhear a younger teen member of group ordered something they had food allergies to - he encouraged him get something else without hassle and without charge! Newks fave salad is a reason to go in itself, one of healthiest things you can get quickly in BCS and you can load up on garlic cloves, jalapeños, parmesan and other fixen's at table by door.

Have always enjoyed this Newk's location. All the food is great. Service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. The times I have been there it is never crowded. The parking is somewhat inconvenient to me, but that aside there are no issues with this restaurant in my opinion. Once I had an issue with my order and the manager gave me several menu items for free the next time I returned. I particularly enjoy the shrimp or chicken pizzas and the Newk's Q and Steak sandwiches. Their mac & cheese is better than most restaurants. I highly recommend this Newk's!

We loved the food and atmosphere here. The service is great, fast and efficient. The food tasted fresh and delicious. I had the chicken pesto sandwich, which was really good. And my wife chose the buffalo chicken sandwich which she stated as being freaking good. We will be returning here. Would recommend!

This place is pretty good. It has a better selection than Panera and the prices seem better too. It’s actually pretty clean inside compared to other restaurants in the area where the college-aged staff doesn’t want to clean. Every time we have been, it’s clean, the food was order was right and good, and the service was good. Those things mean we will keep coming back.

Great location off the highway, they always have a good deal on hooked! Great place for a nice meal to study or to bring your parents when they're in town. Large portions, definitely worth the money. Their salads are especially good and very big. Their Mac and cheeses are also great to look out for. No gluten free options for bread, but they are happy to accommodate for a large salad.

Perfect spot for lunch! Our family has varied tastes and preferences, but Newk's works for all. Try the yummy strawberry layered cake!!

I'm hooked on NEWK's. It's so good. The chicken salad is the best along with a cup of potato soup. It's a little pricey, but worth every bite.

Enjoyed my meal: ahi tuna salad. My daughter had the choose two: turkey sandwich and chicken tortilla soup. This was her meal in between soccer training so we were happy to enjoy less heavy options (plus we will drive 4 hrs later on). Restaurant is clean, workers were nice, and I was overall pleased! I’m not exactly sure what the 6 pictures hanging on the wall have to do with someone giving a bad review about this place (insert face palm) or the very low music that you can’t hear because people are actually being social and talking in this establishment. It’s definitely full of good seating, good lighting, and able to accommodate small to medium sized groups.

It is my go to. Always quick and fresh. Friendly sevice. The only thing I don’t like is the way the restroom always has a peculiar odor.

This place is always good and clean. I put in an online order, on my app, and it’s ready by the time I get there. No need to wait in line. It’s great for littles too. My 15 month old eats everything on his plate plus some of ours. Healthy choices for them and me. This is our go to restaurant when we want fast and easy.

Great food, fresh ingredients and clean restaurant! Newks is a casual sit down cafe serving soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas. I ordered the simply salad and their Mac and cheese and it was very good! Food is a tad on the pricey side but still reasonably priced.

The employee saw me pull into my spot and got my food before I even had a chance to call or check in. Great service and delicious food!

I can't for the life of me believe people have given this place a low rating. The prices are comparable to any other place you may eat. $7-$10 per person, right. And the food is healthy, fresh and very good. Salads, sandwiches and pizza all Great! Also, if you don't get enough of a particular ingredient on your item they are happy to give you more. I live in Navasota, 30 minute drive, and do drive to College Station to eat here.

Food always great and great quality

This is my go-to lunch spot. The rewards app doesn't want to play nice with my (older) phone, but the staff is always friendly and more than happy to look up my phone number to make sure I get my points or see if I have rewards to use. I have had a couple of the salads (Cobb, Chef, and Green Goddess), and some of the sandwiches (Newk's Club, French Dip, Turkey Avocado, and Roast Beef). My two favorites are the Roast Beef sandwich and the Turkey Avocado, (but I sub provolone cheese for the swiss). Depending on the time of day, it may be a bit hard to find a table, but they are usually really fast at getting vacated tables cleaned, and they have a patio area as well.

Great place to eat quality food. The salads with proteins are great for lunch and their pizzas are very tasty.

Staff is the best around. Very attentive and always with a smile and happy to serve the needs of their customer. The short red headed manager with the pretty smile was amazing and very sweet. Food is tasty as always. Little pricy but what isn’t these days. Will always eat here!

Newks always does a great job for us. Love all of the sandwiches (have tried them all), and especially love their lobster bisque and their ultimate salad!! Always pleased with the new reusable cups (seasonal and otherwise).

Newk’s never disappoints! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The sandwich and soup combo was perfect—warm, hearty, and comforting, while the Caesar salad was crisp and refreshing. The pizza had such bold flavor with a delicious crust and fresh toppings. Portions were generous, and everything came out quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. You can really tell they care about both the food and the experience. Definitely one of my favorite spots to enjoy a great meal with friends!

Convenient & consistent! We were able to place our order online and pick it up at the time we chose. The Newks Q sandwich and macaroni & cheese are always excellent. It would be more convenient if we could drive through instead of having to park and go inside, but this location doesn't have room for a drive-thru lane.

Food is always delicious. Didn't have pretzels when they said they did. Got chips instead...they were expired by a month. Finally got some sun chips and they were good. The cashiers could be more welcoming and friendly.

My salad was fresh and tasty but looked nothing like the photo on the menu in the lobby. Wish they would serve how it's shown. I love the separated salad so you can pick and choose your own bite, but this was tossed all together. Maybe they could have servers inquire which way the guest would prefer? Just my opinion.

This is a 3.5 star establishment. Reason being price has gotten expensive. 4 meals 2 drinks 68 dollars that includes a tip. Food is good but quantity is lacking. Their po boy was the worst entre we got today. My NewkQ was good daughters Italian sandwich was 2nd best and the Turkey Avocado was 3rd. Lobster bisque has great flavor not very filling. We like Newks, but it's pricing it's way off our family dining, if I spend 60 dollars at Jersey Mike's I would come home with way more food.

You do not want to go here if you're wanting to cut down on bread! The bread they bake here for their sandwiches is outstanding! The pizzas are also delicious. If you're looking for a healthier option they have a great selection of salads. You order when you enter and the servers bring out your meal when it's ready so there's not a lot of interaction with the wait staff. One of my favorite places for lunch

Great food. Had Newk's Favorite and my favorite salad. Person I was with got the new taco salad. We ate them all. She also got a slice of pumpkin cake. She said was really good too. Great customer service as usual.

A very nice variety of food. We had broccoli cheese soup, ham sandwich, Mac and cheese and I think a club sandwich. It was all good food. The strawberry cake was moist but tasted more of sugar than strawberry. Very clean restaurant, we were on University.

Newk’s was our go-to deli location while we were in the area. The food was delicious and out quickly. I ordered the Q and was surprised by the flavor profile. It was nothing like I expected, but I still loved it. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for something unique.

Food is pretty good. Service was prompt. I like the alternative to burgers, tacos and all things fried. Iced tea is good!! Note: salads will be *swimming* in dressing unless you ask for dressing on the side.

For the amount of food you get the price is quiet high, think $9 for a small sub sandwich. That wouldn't be too much of an issue if you always got a really good meal. The only issue is that some of their stuff is really good and some is really bad. News "Q" = really good, the margarita pizza = really bad

Usually pretty good, but those making food really need to read order instructions and pay attention to detail. Got food delivered through DoorDash last night, my husband couldn’t even eat his sandwich which was COVERED in onions, despite our request for no onions. Disappointed, especially since this food isn’t cheap. **update to add that management contacted us about our experience and we returned. Our food was perfect, tasty, made right and their iced tea is amazingly good and fresh! I normally don’t get anything besides water when I go out but decided this time to be different and get iced tea, and we were all not disappointed. The staff here is patient and welcoming. We ate at the location for the first time last week since the above incident and will definitely return based on this experience.

Most of the staff at this location are extremely unfriendly and not eager to help. Especially since the self service kiosk was added.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here and it was alright. When we were ordering we asked what white BBQ sauce was, and the guy on the register said it was just a sweeter version of BBQ sauce. After tasting it, it was definitely not sweeter and ended up being mayo-based, and unfortunately we hate mayo. We also were not fans of the chicken used in the sandwiches, but the sandwich bread was really good. The environment was nice and clean and the food smells amazing, we just were not a fan of the sandwiches unfortunately. We hope to come again and try the pizza next time though!

Got the chicken salad - menu says has grapes and pecans - hard to find any grapes or fruit wasn’t very good - Jason’s is much better No real service- you order at the front and you get your own drinks and all they do is bring your food; no one ever checked on us afterwards. Would not recommend or go back.

Where’s the beef? Decent service and the place is clean. $12.50 for a sandwich that had very little meat. While the food was decent I just can’t see paying that much for essentially 1/2 a sandwich worth of meat.

$30 Uber delivery for a small pizza and Mac n cheese? I'll admit the pimiento Mac n cheese was good despite its small size. I didn't expect the pizza to a small but that's my fault as you don't have sizes posted on Uber. Need to improve the pizza crust as it's nothing but flavorless wet cardboard.

On this visit i was reminded why i don't come here. My "italian" speciality pizza was dripping wet and soggy in the middle. The tables that were dirty when we arrived were dirty when we left an hour later. The kids' meal pizza size was okay, but half of it had no sauce nor toppings. The overall idea of Newk's chain is vague and their food, as always in my experience, was testimony to that fact. Two stars instead of one because we got free drinks by participating in their text message updates thing, bathroom was clean, and my wife enjoyed her roast beef sandwich.

The lobster bisque was good. The pasta salad was gross. The art work in here is pointless and boring to look at having nothing to do with the cafe. The music they play ruins the vibe. Its annoying to be here because of the music and horrible art decor mainly. But atleast the soup was good.

Food was not good the last few times. Chicken was super dry. Potato soup just tasted like cheese for some reason.

We got there at 8:15 pm after a basketball tournament. We waited 10 min at the counter for someone to greet us and take our order. Finally a girl came by and said that register is closed you have to go to the pickup register to order. A sign on the counter would have been a great help! The food was good and came out fast.

We were driving through college station and figured we would try something new. I got the the hot honey sandwich half with the broccoli cheddar soup. The sandwich was drowned in buffalo sauce and that is all you could taste. The soup did not taste fresh and tasted the equivalent to something you can buy canned in a grocery store. The only positive we had was that they were very prompt on the order. We will not be back.

Awful awful customer service from none other than one of the managers. Not sure what her name is, but after taking my curbside order, messing up three of the items in it, went out of her way to tell me that she heard exactly what I ordered the first time, and that I was the one in the wrong. Even though I get the same thing every time I order something from there. Absolutely sarcastic and rude as hell. Every other time I've ordered from this location, something will be wrong. I've also heard other people on Bryan have the same problem. If you're going to mess up orders all the time, you could at least be friendly about it. Never ordering from here again.

I've been a fan of Newks since I lived in Jackson MS. But the College Station location has been a continuous disappointment. 1. In a restaurant that serves this much salad one would think they could keep the salad fresh. On the last 6 visits I have received wilted brown lettuce in my salad. 2. I've always loved the chicken salad from Newks. Especially the to go version served on sliced wheat. But this location never has one in the to go case. AND when I ask them to make one they always refuse. Now we know they have the bread because there are other sandwiches on the bread I like. Which tells me they are simply refusing to offer the customer service I have come to expect from a restaurant I choose to give my money. 3. Last but absolutely not least, they seem to be offended by the fact I would request anything other than exactly what is on the menu. If this were a one off event i could understand. But this is multiple visits over several weeks. There are plenty of options for casual dining in College Station. You have officially lost my business Newks.
