First time visiting. I think I was supposed to get a drink with my meal but I didn't get one and I wasn't asked about a drink when I ordered. The cashier was polite but not very helpful. Chicken was delicious as well as the fried okra and dirty rice. Although I ordered togo, I went inside to order. It was very clean and pleasant inside. I'll probably go back.

First time trying this place and I really liked it! I got the two piece combo, I did one piece golden roast and another one fried with a side of dirty rice. It comes with a biscuit and let me tell y'all .......this biscuit was the most delicious.....soft, fluffy piece of bread I've ever tried 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 we order 4 more because we could not get enough of it!!!! What I like the most is that they have option to pick fried chicken or roasted chicken, they have a good option on sides as well. Definitely coming back!!!

First time here, we Ordered 10pcs family size legs n thighs (received wrong with 3 wings inside minus: 1 roll and the family sides) My Daughter and wife ended up without their mac n cheese n coleslaw. That’s okay it happens a lot when businesses are busy but it sucks at the same. When i called, they offered to pick up the rest of the order today or they will leave a note and pick it up on my convenience but we live 20min away and i wont pick up a side by itself on another day so i asked for the refund of the sides and was told that it should be done in store with the card. I went there and asked for Mike, that processed the refund and offered the whole refund (couldn’t refund only sides even i asked him to, because the food was good, loved the chicken). Long short story: Food was great (fried chicken and sandwiches) Customer service was great as well. I told him also to tell the team, be generous by adding more items to the customers instead of sending wrong orders or missing items that way your customers will definitely be back!

With all the hype about this fried chicken, I thought for sure this would be 🔥, boy we're we wrong. We went on their grand opening and tried several items. The fried chicken was bland, not flavorful at all, it did have that homemade taste and crunch but no flavor. The gravy and the rolls were amazing. The catfish was very good with the fried okra. The chicken sandwich OG was juicy and better than Chick-fil-A 😋 and that's saying something. We will try the fried chicken again another day and see if it's any better. I didn't try the roasted chicken.

I absolutely love this place—the food is consistently excellent. However, like everything else, the prices have increased significantly. These types of eateries used to be a go-to for saving a few dollars, and that’s no longer the case. As a result, what was once a weekly stop for our family of three has become more of a once-a-month visit.

I’d heard great things about Golden Chick from friends and neighbors, so I decided to give it a try after visiting The Light Park in Spring, TX. Sadly, my experience wasn’t great at all. I ordered rolls and a few other items, but after waiting 30 minutes, I found out the rolls hadn’t even been started... My kids were starving, and to make it worse, employees in the back were laughing about it. Disappointing experience — I value good service, and this visit really missed that mark.

Finally decided to stop by Golden Chick on Louetta with my three children. We were the only customers inside, yet no one acknowledged us. Several employees looked at us but never greeted or offered service. I even thought maybe they were busy with to-go orders, but that wasn’t the case. One young man walked from the back, filled his cup, and walked off after making eye contact. Another employee from the drive-thru passed by, looked at us, and kept going. Even the female manager looked up and chose not to say a word. This experience was not only rude and unprofessional but also made us feel unwelcome and discriminated against. If this location does not wish to serve Black customers, that should be made explicitly clear before people walk through the door. I am deeply disappointed by this treatment and expect this matter to be investigated and addressed immediately.

I came through the drive through today before the start of my work day, I ordered a 4 tender meal and a fish meal I asked that my food be made fresh. The young lady asked me to pull around to the front, I waited 10 mins. When I got home, my food- tenders, fried okra and poppers were not fresh as I asked and they didn’t give me gravy for my tenders! I called the store 3x to speak with a manager and only got the voicemail. I spent $35 food is entirely too high to be wasteful

First time getting food from here. Disgusting! I actually got sick. Chicken tenders had zero flavor and were very tough, seemed old. Another family member had 2 Catfish were the size of nuggets and mediocre at best. The worst though was the fried okra. It had a weird chemical taste that left this same aftertaste that was hard to lose. I threw most away. They forgot our corn nuggets side but after reading reviews on those I am not upset about missing it. My stomach was immediately gurgling after eating not even very much and subsequently prayed to the porcelain god. Would never get from this place again, would not recommend.

Was really looking fwd to this place because we heard good things about it. Was just giving them time to work out any kinks if any because of them being a new restaurant. Well that didn't work out for us. This was an epic fail! Chicken was not fresh, corn nuggets were old and chewy. You're suppose to have 16 in a large we had 11. Ordered ahead online. Wasn't ready still waited 10 min for not fesh food. Order was wrong then they fixed that. Asked if all condiments were in the bag, they said yes. Mind you they were on order form too. No condiments! Only think fresh were rolls . The dirty rice was very mushy. And this was a waste of $30! Which is pricey for 9 pieces of chicken to lg sides & 6 rolls. Which you wouldn't mind if the food was good.
