Been there many times, always great service and tasty food.

The whole experience was wonderful.. the new decor is very nautical.. very clean the staff is very friendly and has patience of a saint. The food is super fresh. It's a must go to for a quick lunch or a girl's day out.

They make great breakfast. Their corned beef hash is delicious. I like the Belgian waffle Deluxe with a side of corned beef hash and choco milk cuz that's what I get. They have a big selection. And they're one of the few diners that still do Deluxe meals.

Always a great meal at the Williston Townhouse Dinner. Excellent staff and food. Delicious Onion Soup, crisp salads, gyros, burgers, lamb chops, fish sandwiches, and more. No matter when you go, what you order, it is always good!

We found the diner because it was in Google maps... close to Winthrop hospital where we visited a friend. We ordered the Greek chicken wraps which were huge and so well made. We will definitely return if we're ever in the area again.

Super impressed how good the food was, had the seafood primavera under Friday diner. Huge portion of grilled shrimps and scallops, sauce was well made and flavorful. Definitely best dinner food I ever had.

Me and 8 friends met at the diner for lunch. It was a miserable rainy day, and 4 people coming from a longer way were almost half an hour late. The staff was great. They asked us if we would like something to drink, never bothered us to find out how long we would be there. When all arrived, they gave us menues and time to chit chat. We then ordered our food, which came out in a timely fashion and was hot and delicious. After we finished eating and had coffee, we paid the bill and proceeded to chit-chat some more, and no one said anything to us about leaving. I would recommend this diner to others.

Interior booths recently renovated. Menu options are very good and the food is always spot on. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. Turkey burger deluxe is the best around. Portions are generous and they don't add a percentage to use a credit card.

I've been frequenting the diner for years. What I love the most is that I've never been rushed to leave. The staff is friendly and the establishment is clean. I love the holiday decorations for every holiday, it makes the atmosphere welcoming. It also has a well maintained curb appeal.

I loved my Napoleon to go. It was fresh, the pastry crisp and easy to cut. The man was very helpful with napkins and plastic utensils. The menu looked very exciting to me. The dining room looked very people focused, community focused and the prices looked inexpensive. I hope to return to eat a whole meal.

The food was excellent and served fast. All of the different items we ordered tasted good and the gyro plate really had good taking meat. The Greek salad was everyone's as were all of the other salads and the side Greek salad was the size of a typical dinner plate. The children fish and chips and chicken tenders were all good and had huge serving sizes. The service was great and extremely friendly.

My friend lives locally and she frequents this diner. It was my first visit. We both ordered the Chicken Souflaki, a dish I like to order in diners. Here it was exceptionally delicious! The salad was fresh, generous and honestly so good! The grilled chicken, ditto, and so tasty. The salad dressing and the tzaziki fresh and really tasty! And even the pita bread, very very good !! Reasonably priced and very nice service. Zero complaints. A great experience.

Our neighborhood go-to even if we are a few neighborhoods away. Staff are amazing, food is terrific and prices are very reasonable. Burgers never disappoint and I think their Chicken Parm is the best in the area (including recipes from Italian restaurants)

I went there to kill time between appts. For lunch. The server was very attentive. The portion was huge (enough for me to make 1-2 more meals out of the leftovers). I sat for a while and was not rushed out.

Smaller than some of the other diners around the area but to me seems to have slightly edgier food quality, worth the money over IHOP nearby. Portions are big enough even for 2 that don’t eat massive. Enjoy their good service and food with every visit.

I ordered the Chicken Ke-bob, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly cooked and tender, and the plate was fresh and flavorful. The combination of peppers, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms was delicious, and the bed of rice was flavorful and filling. I also opted to substitute the salad for a bowl of creamy broccoli soup, which was rich and creamy. The service was excellent! We were seated right away and did not have to wait. The staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals, and we all agreed that we would definitely go back again. It's a great place for a casual and enjoyable dining experience with friends or family.

This is THE best coleslaw I’ve ever had in my LIFE. The pickles are the best in the world- I think they might pickle them themselves. I truly believe that the best judgement of a diner is based on their pickles and coleslaw. This is first class.

Everybody in our party really enjoyed the meal that they got. We were extremely impressed as they continued to give us little extras on the table. It was a wee bit pricey for a diner but I would definitely go back.

It's a good diner. They have gluten free! That's rare on Long Island! We live in NYC but restaurants are not open. We are relived that restaurants are open on Long Island but having a real gluten allergy it is more of a relief to find a restaurant with gluten free options!

I ts diner food in which I either eat breakfast or hamburgers and that's it what makes this place special was their accomodating ways and service, George the waiter & Robinson our busboy earned everything we gave them and they were Awesome!!! We'll be back

This is my go to spot whenever I visit my family in New Hyde Park. If you're out for typical diner fare, such as Burgers, Eggs etc... this place is like most other diners - except it is always packed with customers. What does that tell you??? Where they really excel is in their lunch and dinner specials. The portions are huge, the quality of the food is consistently good, lots of varieties to choose from as well. The staff is always friendly and service is usually prompt, except they can be slow during rushes, so you have to give them a break all you snob reviewers. This is the best diner on the North Shore, as evidenced by all the repeat customers. Whenever I'm there I see people I know at more than one table. Great Onion Rings, the best Chicken Salad, solid half pound burgers, Greek and Mediterranean style dinners, friendly owners who know all their customers - what else can you ask for in a diner?

Very pleasant diner on Hillside Ave, been there a few times, never disappointed. Standard diner fare with TVs around for sport fans. We were there round 6pm on a Sunday evening and it appears evening parking is available in the next door bank's parking lot during non-bank hours. Otherwise the small diner parking lot and street metered parking are available. Cash or credit OK, appears clean and well maintained.

Came here after years and was not disappointed. The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food from a typical NY diner. Speaking of the food, it is very well made and high quality for what I ordered. There is a wide selection available in the menu that if what I ordered serves as an example, bodes well for other orders. The service is friendly and prompt as well and I look forward to coming back here and trying other options.

This a nice diner, the owners are friendly. The prices are good and the food is consistent. The bussers are great, they are quick to clear the tables. The wait staff is inconsistent. Sometimes a terrific staff member who will keep checking up on your table and other times you'll get a wait staff member who abandon you until you wave to them for the check. I give thus 4 stars, I really like the Owners.

The food was good, just like any other place where you pay for a meal. However, it lacked that warm, genuine smile that makes the experience feel more personal. Aside from that, everything else was great.

Perfect place for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Had, for the first time, the diner's smashed burger. Delicious! I particularly enjoyed the caramelized onions instead of the usual raw onions. The accompanying sauce tasted very nice, but for me, it was way too spicy. The fries were extra crispy and hot. Will order again!

We usually come here just for breakfast. The food is good and freshly made. We always go with French fries instead of home fries. And they always come out piping hot. I like corned beef hash and I always ask for it to be cooked to a crisp but no matter where I go, I can never get it that way. The place is clean, the parking has never been a problem for us. Portions are good - we never leave hungry. The price feels a bit high for breakfast, but this seems well within the range for this area. One day we ordered a Caesar salad with chicken to go. It was surprisingly expensive almost $20! Nothing particularly special about it. We'll stick to breakfasts.

This diner is ok. Passable if you're in a pinch but honestly not that great. Other nearby diners have menus that are much more extensive. My relative's fries came out soggy. They were very accommodating to bring out a new plate of fries very quickly. However, the new fries were just as soggy. My wrap wasn't bad, about what you'd expect. But, 2 dollars extra for salad instead of fries is a bit much. I like the booths in this diner and that they give you chickpeas before your food.

What happened to my original waiter? One waiter was coming around with de-caffiented coffee--I asked for a regular coffee.......well what happened to him? I DON'T DRINK DE-CAFFIENTED COFFEE-...I had to ask another waiter for my second cup of coffee. What's going on..... may I ask?

Food was decent but they didn't have any real jellies or syrups. All they had was high fructose corn syrup made stuff. Portions were kinda small as well. With some small adjustments could be a great place to eat

I know people who love this place! Me on the other hand!! All I will say is due to something in the past I won't eat anything more than Fry's there! But make your own decision. I would rather go for lunch at Holdebrant's next block east. Sorry!

Went here for lunch it was ok. I went here for breakfast and it was not ok. I got an egg and ham on a roll. There was a shell in the egg and the ham was dry and somewhat burnt. The home fries were burnt and cold and even the coffee tasted funny . The waiter and waitress were good.. They need to either train the cook or get a new one.

The worst ever!! Food is good but the service is slower than molasses!! Be prepared to wait... and also the front cash register employee (the young women) is not able to multi task. I also wonder why the food takes so long- any ideas?

Our server could not be more bothered to serve us from the get-go. We had all put in our original orders, and she returned shortly to tell us they only had two orders of the Yankee pot roast dinner when we had ordered three. No problem there, we were ready to order something else as that’s not a big deal. One of the ladies with us asked her if they had the meat loaf instead, and the waitress responded, “I’ll go check.” When she returned, she had brought our table a few coffees that we had ordered, and not only did she not tell us if they had the meatloaf or not, she had put in the order for the meatloaf without finalizing our orders. When we told her what we had chosen to replace the third dinner with something else, she seemed frustrated because of her own mistake and said, “Well, I already put the order in for the meatloaf.” We just decided that was fine because it was starting to get busy as we showed up at 6pm on a Saturday night, and we wanted to help her out. The food was decent diner food, nothing to write home about, but nothing we didn’t half expect. Everything was lukewarm though and that was disappointing. Our dinners came with dessert included and when it was time, and we asked her for our options, she actually rolled her eyes and sighed as if she couldn’t be bothered to do her job and answer the simple question. We ordered one chocolate cake, one cherry pie, and one carrot cake. She brought out rice pudding instead of the chocolate cake. Since the waitress was rude on top of her messing up our orders more than once, we will not be returning any time soon if at all.

The Manager of the diner, when I was their on August 26, 2021 have an air conditioning setting of 75°F. When asked why the dining room so warm, He replied that he was trying to save energy bills. I suggest eating at this place sometime in the winter. The waiter was very apologetic.

Stopped in at lunchtime for a small coffee to go. It’s a diner, you expect the coffee to be fresh and average at best. Their coffee was below average, not fresh and didn’t really taste like coffee at all. Why am I making such a stink about their coffee? They charged $3.80 for a small crappy cup of coffee. If only there was a Starbucks nearby.

Came here late night, asked how long they will be open to make sure we don't inconvenience. They said we have an hour. Ordered food. Brought the soup in a bowl and the rest of the food packed. How could a diner get things as simple as egg whites 🍳 and potatoes 🥔 wrong? I left most of my food back, and I was starving (my first meal for the day & it wasn’t a good one)! they call this a diner? A member in my party politely asked to get his muffin topped like a mushroom and the waiter had no clue how to proceed. Hopefully they start running tutorials on how to slice the muffin the right way. The owners are so nosy and personally I can’t talk to members of my party for more than thirty seconds without big Gabe coming up, uh yikers!

Worst egg sandwich i ever had. Bacon hard and no flavor. I don't know were they got the roll but it was flat and old I wad shocked when they put it on front of me. Cooking is truly a lost art.

First off I should of known something was up when a diner is empty with me and two other tables on a Saturday at 9am where other diners are packed. The food was absolutely disgusting it was the worst omelets my wife and ever ate. The home fries looked like they were a week old and the bacon in the omelet tasted like cut up pieces of beef jerky. The eggs were dry and cold. They even figured out how to kill toast if that is possible. The older women at the counter was so miserable and unfriendly. My server did not come back one time after she dropped the food off. STAY AWAY.

Negative rating if possible. I have been eating at the townhouse forever. Its never been great, but it was reliable food that hit the spot when needed. Tonight was the second time i was absolutely repulsed by the food. Greek salad had puddle of water at the bottom, chicken wings were deep fried and burnt, open trukey sandwhich just plain awful. I should have known better, the last time i ordered a cobb salad and received chopped iceberg, chopped asparagus, tomatoes and cut up chicken. If i was the owner i would make sure the be in the kitchen to make sure the cooks had a clue what yo do. Just awful.

I called before I ordered to discuss my Uber Eats order and they still didn’t get a simple order right. As a matter of fact -they didn’t even include my order. But they gave me two potato salad orders instead of one and it was bland with no flavor. I did not need two potatoe salad orders. I would not recommend this place. They don’t read the orders and they do not listen when called.

Got horribly sick at this place. My boyfriend and I both had different entrees but both had fries and they must never clean their frying oil because we had severe stomach issues for days (to the point of calling out of work). I also had the veggie wrap which was so steaming hot I couldn't even eat it for atleast 20 minutes, and it was terrible because it made the wrap so soggy. Very limited other options for vegetarians.

The best thing about eating here was the service. They were attentive and fast. The food, however, was lacking in flavor and quality. Pancakes came with packets of corn syrup masked as maple syrup, the Greek omelette was just flavorless tomatoes and feta, hash brown/potatoes were flavorless and undercooked. You would think with the prices being comparable to airport prices (where you have no choice), they’d put some effort into seasoning food and serving real ingredients instead everything coming out processed, synthetic and factory farmed.

This used to be our go to diner for many years. Not any more. I don’t know if they are under new ownership or what. But it has definitely changed for the worse. Food was horrible. I asked for a poached egg, toasted bagel (no butter), home fries, and coffee. The only thing I could eat was the poached egg. Bagel was old and soaked in butter. Home fries were cold and tasteless. Coffee tasted like it had been sitting there from the day before. The waitress was unpleasant. This is not the same place I went to a couple of months ago. The coffee was excellent. And the grilled cheese with fries was tasty and hot. The service was exceptional.

Service was good, my waffle was good, but sitting down one of our forks was dirty, ok that was easily changed. When we received our coffee they had little milk cups, pouring one was fine but when I went to put a second one in it had mold in it and I had poured some into my coffee, gross. My husband's eggs were cold so was my waffle, so sorry I can't give any more stars.

My Family and I went out for breakfast when we order I ask for gluten free toast which is on there menu with my eggs. When the food arrived my daughters breakfast the eggs were overcooked as was mine my wife and I had Spanish omelets with next to nothing on them as far as s tomato sauce . Also four times I had to ask which toast was the Gluten free toast as all the bread arrived on one dish and they all looked the same. TWO times I asked the people that fill you coffee and two times to the Waiter which was the Glutenfree bread . Also we ask for ketchup 3 times as there was none on the table. When I finally got a answer they said they had no Gluten free bread ! By that time I was so disappointed I really did not want my Breakfast . 25 Years I have been coming here and I have lower my expectations to this place to 1 star 🌟 as the service is poor and the food has gone downhill. I see this place going out of Business as other Diners I have reviewed. UPON GETTING HOME WE MADE BREAKFAST AT HOME I WILL BE FOLLOWING THROUGH WITH THE OWNER AND MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY!

Rude Service, Bad Food, Never Again! My family and I have been coming to this diner for over 20 years, unfortunately this diner has been going down hill for the past 5 years. Our friends don't go here anymore. To start off the "hostess" was not very welcoming and our waiter was very neglectful, never coming once to check on us or offer us coffee. The waiters and bus boys and "hostess" were unbelievably loud. My husband and I had a hard time hearing each other. When we sat down, our waiter gave us dirty napkins. My wrap was way over-priced and my husband's omelette was cold and flavorless, as were his home fries. When we asked for the check, our waiter just placed it on our table and walked away. The hostess was very impatient with my husband when he was trying to pay the bill. After we paid, no thank you from the hostess and waiter. This is the last time we will go. It's such a shame. Hopefully, one day it will have new management and new workers!

Located in the beautiful Williston Park, a huge disappointment. Server couldn’t be bothered with telling us the specials. We asked for steak fries, they told us they only had waffle fries. Asked for cheddar cheese on a patty melt, instead we got processed cheese. Asked for Hot open turkey sandwich . I got white slop instead, no flavor very bland. I’m pretty sure the squirrel outside eating the acorn in the tree in front of this establishment is eating better than we are…. AND to top it off we got hit for $60.00. Dog Food is better than what we were served.
