Good Mexican spot to go and grab lunch/dinner! They have a variety of appetizers to share and drinks too. Plus the entree plates were good and we all had a good time!

We wanted a nice place for drinks and appetizers. We found it at el coyote. We enjoyed the jumbo drinks. We ordered 4 different appetizers. The drinks gave us a buzz. The food was delicious. Can't wait to visit their forest hills location.

Good experience at El Coyote, the have great selections of food & drinks! I came here in their happy hours specials. Nothing but yummy food! If you are a fan of spicy 🌶 food then you have to try the chipotle wings! The chimichanga was also delicious, but small & the quesadilla was good as well. The service was great and the vibe was chill. Parking around this area maybe a little difficult so add extra time if you are driving over here!

I had a paella which was perfect. Wife had the fish and both were delicious. Yhe service folks dressed professionnely. Service was professional. I could see a young man bringing a date here and making him look good. I will say it was a bit pricey if I compared to similar dining. Place looked great, there is live music I believe later into the evening

The service and food were great. The mariachis actually told us about this location and we were pleased with it. I recommend making reservation for evenings on weekends. Update 6/22/24 Noticed had a previous review 5 years ago. On this recent visit if find unpleasent when it comes to cleaniness. Restaurant unfortunately had bad odor on my visit in its dining room. I find it unpleasent to dine in a restaurant with bad odor so my update will be 4/5. Food was acceptable.

Updated review: After coming here for a few years, the food has reached a five star level. Very delicious so now I come here often(: Original review: The staff was friendly and welcoming. The decor and ambient was nice but not cozy. The food was pretty good but not great. I’ve been here a few times and have had a good meal but I wouldn’t quite rate it a five star experience.

The service was good, the food was alright. I was just disappointed that they did not have a lunch menu like the forest hill location. If I knew they did not have a lunch menu, I wouldn’t have came.

Outdoor dining was open so we decided to sit outside. The server forgot about us and I had to flag down her colleague after 15 minutes. We ordered alcoholic beverages which we tasty and made to order. No complaints. The menu did not have the pricing for the different sizes of the alcoholic beverage so it caused confusion during ordering our drinks. We ordered the Ceviche, Guacamole and Quesadilla with Steak. The Ceviche was rubbery like and wasn’t tasty and served with Ritz crackers which was odd. The Guacamole was decent, needed a bit of salt and lime for perfection. The chips tasted old and not fresh. The quesadilla was greasy. The 3 stars is merited because the food quality was not great but the drinks were good. The decor was pretty inside and out but the service lagged a bit despite being what it appeared a slow night. I recommend eating elsewhere and having drinks here.

I use to love this place but going there again and noticing that everything is smaller portions, over priced and they keep coming over to you to get you out. It wasn't even crowded yet multiple waiters and a waitress came over to ask us if we wanted anything else within 15 min of getting over food and as soon as we were finishing they put the bill on the table and left. We were there for not even an 1hr. I wouldn't go back , not inviting..customer service is terrible then they expect a 20% tip.

Great Happy Hour specials! With that said, there is NO other reason to go here - I have been here several times. The regular menu is nothing more than OVERPRICED spanish food. I wouldn't even call this a Mexican restuarant because they don't even serve traditional Mexican dishes such as a simple BURRITO! In an effort to be overly fancy, this place leaves you with a bad taste of a dining experience. However, if you must dine here, the best items on the menu are simply the side dishes!
