A presto!
Clean, refined, and spacious, truly distinctive. An interesting and varied menu—you're truly spoiled for choice! You can choose from pre-made menus or à la carte! The prices are higher than a regular ayce restaurant, but it's definitely worth it! The quality is superior, and the flavors are more sophisticated! The portions are just right, and the ingredients are top-quality! Truly excellent!
Torii is the place to try authentic Japanese cuisine. The dishes are meticulously crafted, with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. The atmosphere is elegant and the service impeccable. Ornella is always attentive to her customers, making the experience even more enjoyable. The prices are fair for the quality, which makes it even more appealing. If you're looking for a true Japanese restaurant, this is the place. Highly recommended!
I finally tried Torii! As a good weeb for me it was a unique experience starting from the location, elegant and stylish, to get to the decidedly superior food. Forget the classic Chinese restaurants disguised as Japanese, here you are truly in Japan. Every slice of fish has a unique flavor, the udon are out of this world and the desserts, some very special, will amaze you. Of course the prices are not cheap but quality is paid for. I will definitely go back to try all the most special dishes.
Gorgeous venue and excellent service; you feel welcomed in an atmosphere that seems to transport you far from the center of Cuneo. The selection of dishes is authentic and truly reflects Japanese cuisine. The quality of the fish and the cuisine in general is beyond excellent. The "open" menu is a great way to sample a variety of dishes for a relatively low price (€28), and you still leave feeling more than satisfied. This being our first experience with à la carte sushi, I can confirm that the difference compared to an average all-you-can-eat restaurant is clear, even with "simple" dishes like nigiri. The desserts (mochi) were a perfect end to the dinner. We will definitely be back.
Returning from my first trip to Japan, I wanted to experience the flavors and dishes I'd tried on my trip. Here, I found high-quality cuisine that completely met my expectations. I'll definitely be back because the menu is so extensive that to try everything, I'll have to become a regular!
An authentic restaurant, with a selection of truly Japanese dishes, both in aroma and flavor. I was truly delighted; rarely in Italy are there places that offer what only one could experience if one were to go to Japan. Stunning location, friendly staff. The price is in line with the quality offered; we ordered a bento box and a big gourmet menu for lunch and left satisfied and not hungry. Special mention goes to the gyoza and karaage, which are truly fantastic. So don't expect the usual Western-adapted options and flavors from all-you-can-eat restaurants, giant portions with mediocre ingredients from a €15 buffet. If that's what you're looking for, there are plenty of other places where you can fill up.
I had lunch at this restaurant in the center of Cuneo and was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The sushi selection was exceptional, with a wide variety to choose from. The sushi was fresh and delicious, carefully prepared and artfully presented. The price was fair despite the lack of an all-you-can-eat menu, and the quality of the dishes was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality sushi experience.
A very beautiful place with a large open counter where the chefs prepare the dishes. The welcome was very warm and the traditional Japanese "welcome" was a given. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes and menu types: set menus to sample a variety of dishes from appetizers to dessert, "workshop" menus, children's menus, or à la carte, etc. I was particularly impressed by the menu's inclusion of more traditional dishes, yet less common in traditional Japanese restaurants. The quality of the food is excellent, from cooked to raw. The fish is delicious. To accompany the sashimi and nigiri, I opted for sake, which was served in the traditional manner, with a little curiosity about the tasting method directly from the chef 😊 During this lunch, between flavors, preparation, and atmosphere, I was able to relish the authenticity of the Land of the Rising Sun. For the rest, I'll let the photographs of the various dishes do the talking. Definitely worth a try!
Very elegant and clean location. Friendly staff. And most importantly, THE BEST JAPANESE FOOD I'VE EVER EATEN!!!! From gyoza to sushi, from udon to uramaki... Everything is amazing!!!!! 😍 A la carte menu or lunch menu for €16, which includes a choice of 7 dishes. And that's more than enough for an excellent lunch and a satisfied wake-up call... CONGRATULATIONS 😍
A Japanese restaurant worthy of the name. Not far from the historic center (a 10-minute walk from Piazza Galimberti), you can enjoy a small Japanese experience, with carefully crafted dishes in a quiet, elegant atmosphere. The lunch options are interesting (open menu, 16 euros for 7 courses; bento menu, very tempting just to look at). The staff is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable and appropriate for the good quality of the food.

Wonderful location, attentive, friendly, and professional service, and excellent cuisine. And when the temperatures outside start to cool down... a hot ramen (and more) is the perfect treat... The variety of dishes offered is sure to satisfy every palate and even the most demanding expectations! Flavors you'll want to return for more. Always excellent.
Let's take it one step at a time: - Location: Spacious, beautiful entrance with a large hall, a single yet very intimate room, high vaulted ceilings, and the final highlight: the open-view cold dishes kitchen, so you can admire the work of the Japanese chef and his assistants. - Staff: Friendly, polite, the owners welcome you at the entrance and pamper you with attention throughout your dinner. - Food Quality: EXCELLENT - Food: Delicious, unique, carefully crafted, and refined dishes - Price: €26 per person. We wanted to go all out by adding dessert, a glass of wine, sake, and Japanese whisky (all excellent), but the value for money is excellent. Last note: The macha tea and plum sake is MAGNIFICENT.
Finally, we have discovered a true japanese restaurant in our area opened in July 22 in an old church and with a real japanese chef. The service was very good except they should provide a piece of paper on which you can write your choices. Looking on the menu from a qr code isn't easy each time the server ask the choice and by the time they are served invariably you had forgotten them. The fish in the sashimi and rolls was extremely good even on the Sunday when we were there. The price for lunch was also attractive as it included 9 choices from the menu more than enough for almost any eater.
I must say that the night I went to eat, I wondered if I'd booked the right place, especially since I've never seen such a grand entrance to a restaurant... not to mention the dining room, which was something spectacular that immediately struck me. As soon as you enter, the owners come to welcome you, and once you're seated and order, I can admire the true Japanese chefs putting their skills, time, dedication, and professionalism into their work, making it something spectacular and magnificent. It's an art form based on the excellent quality of the product, but also on the exquisite and refined attention to detail in every single dish I tasted. As for the prices, I can say they're truly worth it. One little touch I particularly appreciated are the glass bottles for the soft drinks, which sushi restaurants generally don't stock. The staff is friendly and always helpful, and the restrooms are fantastic and clean. I'd like to conclude by extending my warmest congratulations to the two owners, Filippo and Alessandro, for the wonderful job they're doing in running this fantastic restaurant. I encourage you to always give it your all! Recommended for all ages. I'll definitely be back very soon. Try it and believe me, you won't regret it!
I think it's one of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever tried, starting with the beautiful location and ending with the mastery of the Japanese chef who takes care of finishing each dish with exceptional care. The ingredients used are excellent; both the soy sauce and wasabi are homemade, and the difference is noticeable! The wine list and sake selection are very varied and carefully chosen. The quality/price ratio is also perfect. Congratulations, definitely worth a try!
Intrigued by the positive reviews and taking advantage of a The Fork promotion, we tried this place. It looks very nice, although a bit cold. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the portions are quite small. Keep in mind that promotions significantly limit your options for choosing the dishes on the menu. While it's probably one of the best in Cuneo in terms of quality, that doesn't justify the poor price/quality ratio in my opinion. You pay more for the experience of going to a Japanese restaurant than for the actual quality and quantity. The service is average.
