Recensioni di Sí Tapas Dallas
I had dinner on Feb 19th. It’s been a while since I had Spanish food done this properly, so I left in a genuinely good mood. We ordered the seafood paella, Iberico jamón, fried okra, and draft beer — all excellent. The octopus in olive oil was a bit overcooked, to be honest, but everything else more than made up for it. The house-made ice cream at the end was especially memorable. Our server, Jaoo, was outstanding. Super attentive without being intrusive, quick on cues, efficient, and genuinely kind. Service like that really elevates the whole experience.
Had a great experience at Si Tapas. Excellent food with bold, well-balanced flavors and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service was attentive without feeling rushed. Perfect place to enjoy tapas, good conversation, and quality drinks. I’ll definitely be back.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Si Tapas – Uptown Dallas Si Tapas is one of those rare Dallas gems that feels like it was lifted straight out of Spain and tucked quietly into Uptown. The restaurant is set inside a converted home, which gives it an intimate, cozy vibe you just can’t fake. It feels hidden in the best way — like you’re in on a secret everyone else walks right past. The tapas are beautifully done, the wine list is legit, and the staff has that warm, effortless service that makes the night flow. Whether you’re out for a date night, catching up with friends, or just want to escape the typical loud Uptown scene, Si Tapas nails it every time. If you’re looking for a place with charm, character, and truly delicious small plates, this is it. One of my favorite tucked-away spots in Dallas.
Had a pre-Opera get-together (Carmen, so wanted a Spanish theme. Ordered from Si Tapas and the staff was very helpful answering my questions and getting my order. Pick-up went smoothly and they even offered to help carry the order to my car. Food was great and my guests raved about it, especially the pan perdido with ice cream for dessert.
I moved away from Dallas, but I miss this place so much. I went here twice to treat myself after big days. Patatas Bravas, of course, were amazing. The wine selection is perfect. The tapas are amazing, delicious, authentic tapas and really make you feel like you’re back in Spain The serving sizes are pretty fair for the quality, too!! I miss Si Tapas so much!! I hope you enjoy!
This place is a hidden gem in Dallas! The food is truly authentic Spanish cuisine — everything tastes amazing. I live about 40 minutes away, but it’s so good that I want to come here every week. Hard to believe this restaurant has been around for over 20 years with the same owner. That consistency really shows in the quality and atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Si Tapas has been my favorite Spanish restaurant in Dallas for years. My partner and I have been coming here for special occasions twice a year since we met 8 years ago. It’s truly our go-to spot when we want something memorable. The Sangria is the best in town, hands down, and the Seafood Paella is unmatched. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor every single time. We came with friends this past Saturday for dinner, and once again, Si Tapas exceeded expectations. A big shoutout to Carlos, who made our evening extra special with his attentive and friendly service. He turned a great night into a memorable one. If you’re looking for authentic Spanish cuisine and a warm, festive atmosphere, Si Tapas is the place.
Maybe I'm easy but I loved it all! Cozy and spacious! Perfect for two OR a rowdy group of 15 (like ours!) Extensive patio options Couldn't believe how well our server took care of us (we weren't easy) A dozen courses Great wine selections Lovely cocktails Most importantly: sensational vibe!
I had an excellent tapas lunch today. The meal commenced with a selection of cured meats and cheeses, followed by sautéed garlic mushrooms and artichokes with a lemon vinaigrette. This was followed by white anchovies with garlic and fried baby shark, culminating in grilled baby lamb chops. The entire experience was exceptional. Our server, Francisco, provided knowledgeable and attentive service, ensuring a flawless dining experience. #amazballs 😋
This place is amazing! From the outside, it appears much smaller than what it is....I was surprised upon entering! The food was exceptional with pretty decently sized portions for tapas, compared to places like Barcelona Bar. We went for lunch and had the following: Patatas con chorizo (Sautéed potatoes w/Spanish chorizo), Gambas al ajillo (Shrimp in garlic), Croquetas de jamón / Croquetas de queso Manchego (Spanish serrano ham croquettes and Manchego cheese), Costillas de Cerdo Lacada (Lacquered pork ribs), Chuletas de cordero a la parrilla (lamb chops) and Albóndigas estilo Si (meatballs). The pitcher of Sangria was well made as well, not very sweet but enough flavor to make it a great drink to have with their food. Our favorite item were the ribs! They even fell off the bone is how good they were. The pricing is well done, especially for the amount of food we had. All this food and a pitcher barely was over $100 (before tip). I will be coming back to try some of the other items i could not fit this time!
My experience with Si Tapas surpassed my expectations. Their food is another level of flavor. We wanted Spanish food for late lunch, and the Si Tapas caught our attention on Google. When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed they did not have a parking lot, which can be inconvenient during rush hours. However, we were lucky to find a spot on the street close to the place. The food, the service, the atmosphere, and the wine are exceptional. We had paella for two, and it was more than enough. Something I appreciate is the commitment from the administration to keep their original receipts, which makes this place very special and unique. I would return to Si Tapas and try other things from their menu. I would recommend it to friends and family.
This place has so many appetizing options. Better to go with many people so that you can get a larger variety, and that you can share. The portions are on the small side , but that is the point of tapas. I consider that idea benefit because then we can try even more of what the menu offers. Plenty of alcoholic options. This is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with some cool shops.
Small plates were very good. Paella looked great but flavor was so-so. Also worth noting that the kitchen closed nearly an hour before the restaurant was listed to close.
Really wanted to love this place, we had a new server and she was the best, great atmosphere, but the food was bland. Croquettes were our favorite, but the paella had absolutely no flavor or salt, and the shrimp were mushy, and chicken wings instead of thighs felt very out of place. Sadly won't be on my go to places.
Let's start with the positives: food is great. We shared the veggie paella between two and it was great. They had fun seating with mood lifting. The manager who greeted us seemed like a fun loving guy. It is a bit loud inside but great overall vibe at first glance. This is why it hurts to say the rest: Maybe it was a bad night, but we may have had the worst service we've ever seen. We were seated and left alone for 40 minutes. We were confused about how the menu worked and were given rude/ brusque answers. When asked to be given a minute to decide, he (our waiter) gave us a disgusted look and then left us alone for ANOTHER 50 minutes. When I went up to ask the front lady if we could get our order taken whenever they were free, she was also rude with me. Look, I generally am not one to complain. I dislike Karens and will brush most things aside. I understand dinner service can be tiring and stressful, so know I will only point things out when they're especially egregious (feel free to look through my other reviews if you want proof). I'm saying this not to demean what seems like a good place with genuinely good food, but to encourage grace, especially with first time customers that are trying to enjoy their night without making things harder on staff. Please practice kindness as a default, and I will try to do the same. Maybe I was an annoying customer asking questions. I do wish this restaurant the best and once again will say that this may have just been a bad day and we are all allowed those.
The potatoes braves with cured ham and eggs. They served this with French fries instead of the classic potato. The waiter tried to tell me this is what they do in Spain. I have Spanish grandparents and visit often. Iv never had this ever with French fries and none of my other Spanish friends have. It was extremely bland and I was very disappointed with it. The octopus was cut so thin it just ruined the dish. What little there was it did taste good though. Maybe I order wrong but not impressed.
We really wanted this restaurant to be a great experience. We had such high expectations. We went to two other Spanish restaurants in Dallas so we were hoping this would be good. We came here 45 mins before they closed on Sunday. The service was very sub-par. The server was very unhelpful when we asked for suggestions. She just wanted us to order ASAP. The customer next to us actually gave us all the good suggestions. The food was extremely basic. Nothing like the food we ate in Spain. It definitely seemed like they just rushed to put it together and send it us. The worst thing ever was the salad. They literally just put it together and opened a tuna can on top of it. We ended up return the chicken because it had 0 flavor. We asked for more bread and they said that the "bread guy was gone." How hard is it to grab bread! My pregnant wife got very sick after. So unfortunately we won't be back. I attached some photos of the food we ordered. I just missed the salad.
