Had to try this new breakfast/lunch spot in the hood. (ILOVE FOOD). Got the lite burrito and the french toast (balance is key) and they were both great. Cheese in the burrito was winning. I will be back for the breakfast burger (dont threating me with a good time) met the owner. Cool dude.

The Banana Bread french toast and candied bacon are amazing! Had the Pulled Pork Hash and my wife had the Veggie Hash. Both were great. Check this place out people!!

We found this place by a Google search and have absolutely no regrets! The owner was on site and very nice. They have a great kids menu. The place is named after his daughter, which I found very heartwarming and sweet. 10/10 will go back and definitely recommend 💓

Love this place! Awesome service, great food, great prices. I got the weekend special pancakes which were chocolate cinnamon crunch and my boyfriend got the country burrito. Great portion sizes and delicious. Fair warning, this place is small and fills up quick so either go early or be prepared to wait! We will definitely be back for lunch as those options looked delicious too.

My son and I enjoyed it. I had the pulled pork hash with an over easy egg . It was yummy. My son had the peanut butter French toast with apricots. I thought that would be a weird mix,but he really enjoyed it. Next time I will try the California hash. I like that it was a small place and not too crowded. We definitely will be going back. Our server was very nice as well.

Not only is the food amazing but I really come here for Sandy, she is an amazing waitress and has caught my eye since our first time here two months ago. She is a sweetheart and makes this not only feel like a service but an experience. She is so friendly and funny. She always recommends us with great plates and we always leave with a happy tummy and a big smile. She is the perfect example of what every waitress/waiter should be everywhere else. We love to cal this our little brunch spot because of how great the food is and they give a great amount as well. Our Happy Place! This is NOT your trendy local brunch! It IS “Our Happy Place!” The food is great, the mimosas are great and at a good price and the food tastes home made. Soon as you walk in here is like going back in time to when food was great, service was no less than outstanding, and you feel like you are part of a big family.

This was our first time here. The service was fast and amazing. The lovely ladies brought my mother a rose for mother's day! Maddie, our waitress, was extremely sweet and it was very clear that she wanted us to have the best experience possible. The food was amazing. Visited during the week and it was very quiet. We had the Bacon, egg and cheese croissant. My very picky son said it was delicious. My server was nice enough to recommend the Banana bread French toast...WOW..just WOW, it was amazing..felt like ordering another for later ! Definitely amazing and will be back.

My sister and I ate here yesterday and are thrilled that we found this hidden gem. I had the Shrimp and Grits and they were delicious and tasted like I was in New Orleans. My sister had The Philly and loved it. We shared an order of The Sweet Pig which is candied bacon and it was out of this world!!! You must order The Sweet Pig with whatever you're eating. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly and they followed all Covid safety procedures. Julio, the owner, checked in with us to make certain we were happy. Give this restaurant a try, you will love it!

Such a hidden 💎 gem! I stumbled upon this restaurant by going to Physical Therapy which is close by. I ordered the Chocolate chip pancakes. I had not had those pancakes since college. They were amazing!!! My eggs 🍳 eggs were so fresh that I can’t wait to return. I usually don’t eat much before 2:30pm so I have to plan my next visit around their hours of operation.

We loved the place. Kids did too and very kid friendly. Highly recommend to try the daily specials as they are a hit. Cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing. Service great as well. We look forward to spending our money here and supporting a small business. They deserve it!

Definitely recommend! I came here with my fiancé and I must say the food was great. The hostess took our name and phone number and told us that she’ll give us a ring once our table was ready. 20 mins later, they called me and we got sat down. I ordered the caprese sandwich and the French toast. Both were great! My fiancé ordered the California hash and biscuits and gravy, which he enjoyed too. Although there was a 20-25 mins wait, they definitely made up for it with the speediness of the service.

Went for the first time today; there WILL be more visits to this restaurant. Delicious fresh food! My daughter & I LOVED it. We came for breakfast, but can’t wait to go back for lunch. I saw it was a brand new restaurant so I came in saw that they had one of my favorite the Philly cheesesteak. So I ordered it the service was amazing the atmosphere was marvelous. The food came out quick and hot. By far it was the best Philly cheesesteak I’ve ever had. I will be coming back here and I will also tell all of my friends and family.

After many many months of searching, we finally found the best breakfast/brunch/luch restaurant in Davie. Lunessa's Cafe fills all the checkboxes for us. Friendly team, great ambience, amazing food and a willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is pleased with their experience. We had Vanessa seat us and Turtle take care of us on our visit, we also had the pleasure of meeting Julio, the head Chef of this wonderful establishment. A few items that are must tries are the Candied Bacon, the Shrimp and grits, the pulled pork sandwich and the Mac and Cheese bites. We look forward to revisitng this establishment every weekend untill we have tried everything on the menu at least twice.

So let me start by saying this breakfast spot is adorable and chic. I have ordered the breakfast tacos twice and both times equally pleased. The customer service is on point I definitely reccomend this restaurant !

Although the location isn't great(personal preference), in the heart of Davie, the restaurant inside is great! It's fairly new so I can tell they are working out some kinks, but as far as service goes its exceptional! Although I have never been crazy for pimento cheese the shrimp and grits was very tasty. Everything is well seasoned, which is a major plus. And did I mention it is BLACK owned! Very proud😏

The best and crunchy tator tots in Davie. I really liked them. I would order them again. The biscuits and gravy here are good. They make this really good brown sauce that is delicious and addicting. The biscuits tasted great. The grits and shrimp was what I ordered. I enjoyed it. It was a good portion. The sauce for the grits was good. I liked it. The service was nice and friendly. Stopped here Sat morning for breakfast. It wasn't crowded so was able to get a table right away. Coffee was good and so was the food. I had their pumpkin pancakes which were excellent!! My daughter had the banana bread French toast and said it was very good as well. I would for sure return to try other items on their menu. Not only for their good food and service but also, to support local businesses! Cooper City is proud to have you!

First time here. When we pulled up was a bit apprehensive of location due to the fact previously this location was not known for its cleanliness with previous restaurant. But it's a new establishment and I had read really good things about it on social media platforms. Location looked nice. Nothing about the look screamed anything extra. Service was on point. Friendly and attentive. Food. We ordered the chicken and waffles. The B.A.D Burger with fries. And Fried Mac and Cheese ( I would have wished it was explained that it was small balls, almost an appetizer size) and a mimosa and juices.

Update 20220317: New owner, same menu, potential issues w/ Groupon's (was accepted today, but I wouldn't buy any moving forward). Still good food & service. Had a special item: Sausage Gravy smothered tater tots w/ eggs & pork belly. It was amazing. Hope this gets moved to a regular menu item. Stop pushing the app, it's annoying. Great coffee. #MugLife Gotta find out what is sweet in the sausage gravy?

It was pretty good, the server was also very attentive and nice. I had the banana bread french toast, it was good however the portion is quite small but quite high in calories I assume but its not enough. I think it would be better a smaller plate so it seems like more than it actually is or include another item like scrambled eggs or the potatoes. My husband had the 2-2-2 and he was very happy with it and had a pretty big portion. Overall small but quaint place and food is really tasty and fresh.

Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Potatoes tasted like perhaps the oil used to cook them had been burnt which was obviously undesirable. The bacon grease in the grits was a very nice southern spin. The waffle wasn't golden brown in appearance but was flavorful. The accompanying syrup bottle was obviously not cleaned prior to bringing it to the table since it had syrup on the exterior and was sticky. Overall the staff was what really shined here but the food was ok.

Staff get 5 stars if I could give 10 I would ! The location does not bother me due to I love Uncle Als for a Jameson and Ginger . So I am kind of confused how any person could base their rating on location , Griffin Road and turn in and there you are . Walk in greeted with a smile and a strong “ Welcome “ . Place is very clean , huge coffee cup filled hot and ready to enjoy . Now you say “ Then why 3 stars “ … Just the menu is eccentric to the chef’s liking and the portions on my toast were small , now mind you the waitress did explain they are on homemade bread . But it missed something, I T WAS DELICIOUS! . Menu lacked something. Now at the end I am changing it to 4 stars ,I was set on 3 , but now I am really thinking and overall it deserves 4 , 5 for bigger menu maybe , or maybe I am just picky ha ha Great place!

Staff is very friendly and do a great job. We had a large party on a Sunday for brunch, food was good. Even though they have a smaller amount of offerings, They do have a great up dated menu, with descriptions on each item so you know what each is. And they offer some good sounding special's. Like Lemon Raspberry pound cake French toast, brie an cheddar grilled cheese, banana and Nutella pancakes, banana bread french toast.

Los mejores y crujientes tator tots de Davie. Realmente me gustaron. Los ordenaría nuevamente. Las galletas y la salsa aquí son buenas. Hacen esta salsa marrón realmente buena que es deliciosa y adictiva. Las galletas estaban buenísimas. La sémola y los camarones fue lo que pedí. Lo disfruté. Fue una buena porción. La salsa para la sémola estaba buena. Me gustó. El servicio fue agradable y amable. Disfruté la comida aquí.

Paré aquí el sábado por la mañana para desayunar. No había mucha gente, así que conseguí mesa enseguida. El café estaba bueno y la comida también. ¡Probé sus panqueques de calabaza, que estaban excelentes! Mi hija pidió las tostadas francesas de pan de plátano y también dijo que estaban muy buenas. Sin duda volveré a probar otros platos de su menú. No solo por su buena comida y servicio, sino también por apoyar a los negocios locales. ¡En Cooper City estamos orgullosos de tenerlos!

Some things were very good coffee and iced tea great , very nice waffles and chicken was pretty good, breakfast potatoes were lacking in flavor , the sausage gravy was interesting and different quite good but the biscuits under it , pillsbury would have been better. For me hit or miss . Presentacion was on point .

I came with a valid Groupon, however, it was not accepted. Good food and good service. Be aware when changing items on the menu, they won't tell you will cost extra $ unless you ask.

The service was great in the beginning but it became a little overbearing. The environment was nice, but nothing spectacular. Most unfortunately the food was lacking in flavor, it was described so beautifully, but it was underwhelming.

The girls at the front are very nice, but as soon as we walked in, the first thing I noticed were the booths in the back that were filled with things like silverware and plates, etc. as if it was being used for storage. Our table was wobbly, our booth chair came out of place and slid forward because I think it was loose, and we sat by the window where it was very hot and awkward because all of the people waiting for tables outside could watch us while we ate. I ignored first impression based on aesthetics and was hoping the food would make up for the rest. We gave the chicken and waffles a try since the reviews were good. We also ordered a pitcher of mimosa and a veggie hash. The food was disappointingly flavorless and the chicken was really greasy. Service was ok. I was really looking forward to trying this place out but it’s not somewhere I would come back to. I’m sure that with a few twerks in their cleanliness, seating, and food, and they would have a 5 star local spot!

Update: Returned today and still enjoy this little spot. Menu has great variety so you'll find something for everyone. Lovely staff. The food was good. Not great and not awful. They seem to hold back on heavy seasoning of food which I like. Again, I'll be back. 3.5 stars really.

My fiance and I wanted to visit this place for a while, we never got around to it until now. I had high hopes for this place. The service was good no complaints, but the food was very mediocre. I had the philly and the flavors wasn't there. The fries tasted like they we're cooked in old oil. My fiance got the 2-2-2. The bacon was ok, the eggs were also ok, but the home fries were hard.

Was not impressed. Service was okay. Food was bland and very small portions for the price. My boyfriend ordered a California bowl and they forgot the avocado with it. The server told us “it’s happened before.” That’s one of the main ingredients that make up that bowl. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they seemed like a mix out of the box, in my opinion. The bacon was delicious and thick cut. We live across the street and were really hoping for a good breakfast joint and tried this place because of the great reviews, but unfortunately we won’t be back.

The staff is very friendly and wonderful. They get 5 stars. (Im speaking for hole in the wall diners only) Let me explain my decision of my two stars. I've enjoyed many different breakfast joints in my day, and the ones with 5 stars in my opinion stood above and beyond expectations of food quality and cleanliness. Lunessa's cafe has a wonderful potential but has not seem to met good quality standards. I would love to see this business thrive, but I think from personal experience many people will soon understand what I mean. Hopefully owner wants to push for greatness and doesn't become complacent in the workplace.

The worst breakfast I have ever had. Cold, Old coffee, sausage links taste like they are from a frozen box. Service lacked common sense. If there is a party of 5 you dont just bring 3 Jellys and a few creamers. If Pancakes and waffles are ordered why is it that I have to ask for the syrup?

I have no idea where they got the picture of biscuits and gravey but it wasnt what I got. The biscuit I got was less than an half inch high, then cut in half, it was dark brown nothing like the picture, the gravey was dark brown like beef color,but the meat tasted like ground turkey meat. Its pretty hard to mess up a simple southern standard of biscuits and gravey, but this pile of whatever they served is an insult to every true southerner everywhere.

I was disappointed with the breakfast today. The potatoes were clearly burnt to crisp. There is no way the person serving them could have miss that. If I didn't mention it, would they have expected me to eat burnt potatoes? My second time eating here and don't see myself returning. 😫

Ordered for the first time today. Not only was the portions so tiny… my breakfast potatoes and hash bowl had absolutely no flavor AT ALL. I also ordered pancakes and didn’t even get syrup. Definitely never makes me want to order from here again…

Ordered online, needs to be updated because my side order was not charged so they didn’t make it. Even tho they noticed it on the receipt. Husband got the BAE sandwich, it was alright. I got shrimp and grits. It was nasty. Tasted like I was eating a jar of salty sour cream. Pancake was bland. Breakfast potatoes undercooked. Husband side order of grits also tasted like sour cream. As a southern girl, I don’t know anyone who makes grits like that maybe the milk was spoiled. We didn’t like anything about this meal so I can’t give it another chance.

We arrived for Saturday brunch and they warned us the kitchen was backed up, but after 50 minutes we only had 1 drink, no check up on us, no one had taken our order, but the tables backing up the kitchen? Refills, plates taken back, food coming out, normal service. Backed up doesn't mean ignoring other customers entirely. We left and went somewhere else for our brunch.

A disaster! I went for breakfast at 11:30 and ordered from the menu. "Sorry we're out of it." I picked something else. "Sorry we're out of it." Well how about the banana bread french toast? "Yes we have it, but it's a very small portion and you'll want to order something with it." $9.00 for banana bread french toast and it's not enough for breakfast? There was a guy I presumed was a manager but he was too busy talking to customers at another table to care about our table. I'll never go back.
