As a 50 year old I found this place a fun college throwback . I will be going back to feel nostalgia ... until I look in the mirror!!! food was good but the feeling Amazing!!

It's a buffet dining hall, all you can eat style. Good variety, the food is pretty good and there's even a relatively good coffee! Definitely worth while to give it a try.

Best university food ever! I have eaten at dining halls of many universities. This one is the best! I also like University of La Verne. The worst food is at UC Berkeley.

A healthy canteen. All you can eat buffet. Nothing taste too good because to my taste the food here is too bland. But... I know the ingredients they use are really fresh and good. You get your money worth it.

A lot of great options. The chefs do a wonderful job of crafting a menu of diverse and creative dishes. They serve you quickly and have great attitudes. I love how the cereal and milk is available all day for when I want to have it for dinner. Salad and fruit bar is always refilled in a timely matter, enduring us lots of fresh and healthy options. Mongolian Wok is always delicious. My favorite dishes are the mushroom corn quesadillas, pasta dishes, $10,000 chicken, and BBQ chicken pizza. They also had theme dinners (Harry Potter, Star Wars) which were super fun and the food was amazing! There's always open seats for my friends and I to sit in. Always lots of great conversations with good food here. The only complaint I have is that they're not super careful with foods that contain ingredients that people are allergic to (one of my friends has an almond allergy and had a few reactions during the school year because of the food).

I can confidently say that I’ve had some of the best meals I’ve ever eaten at Tercero DC. Eating here is 100% the best part of my day. Here are the top things I recommend: mushroom burger, pork adobo, roasted turkey, bratwurst sandwich, and the black bean burger. The cooks definitely need a raise!

Tercero Dining Commons is a consistently good and reasonably prices buffet food option if you're a student on campus. Meals come in at ~$14 if you pay on the spot, or $11 if you pay with pre-purchased meal swipes. Meal plans are also available. The people that work here try their best to keep the place clean and food tasty.

This place is amazing. They have lots of healthy food choices and vegetarian choices as well as always having pizza and hamburgers for the typical college pallet. There is a salad bar that includes lettuce, carrots, beets, fruit, peas, artichokes, and much more. Are usually two choices of soups and an area where you can make your own sandwich. You can eat any and all that you would like for the one very low price. The price depends if you were a student, staff, or visitor at the most you pay is about $12 I believe. There is fresh fruit and several choices for deserts including ice cream. The place is always clean. You do have to clear your own plate and put it in an area where it gets washed but that is how they keep the cost down in savings on labor and quickly keeping the tables clear for so many people eating there. Staff wipes the tables and refills all the food and prepares the food items.

It get really loud if you get there when lunch starts but it starts to quiet down after a while. The place is clean and there is always a staff member cleaning the tables as soon as someone leaves. Tercero was the first dining hall I ate in at uc Davis. It is not the best, that is segundo, but it is a great dining hall nonetheless. The layout is confusing and it is not as good of a place to study and chill as segundo is.

Good food for the cost (especially the seasonal vegetable selection) + unlimited food option. BBQ tofu is strange though.

Dinning hall is clean has a wide variety of food, has a great salad bar but is a bit big and staff aren't the most helpful.

Sometimes quality of food varies but for the most part it's a good meal for college students.

Nice facility. Didn't indulge in the food/beverages .. but the students appeared to enjoy it. I was assisted by one of the staff .. so kudos to her for allowing a "lost parent" some leeway.

Overall the food is very tasty and the staffs are pretty nice, but they could use a more variety of food like fish and season the cooked veggie a little bit. (You can always find some good comfort food here; cheese burger, pizza, ice cream and cake.)

First time college student, and I can’t say my expectations weren’t met. The food here is really good, but it does call for switching it up to something different every now and then. The staff keeps the dining really clean. Overall a good place to eat but it can get repetitive at times.

First time college student, and I can’t say my expectations weren’t met. The food here is really good, but it does call for switching it up to something different every now and then. The staff keeps the dining really clean. Overall a good place to eat but it can get repetitive at times.

They don't have real plates and less of a selection than Segundo. If you can, go up there for lunch

The buffet options are rather plain. I only recommend this place for the carbo-loading aficionados. Other than that, I would say most of its quality comes from the beautiful vistas. I now get why this place is always the go-to option for planning freshman orientation.

Half the restaurant stations were closed. If the Pacific Asian noodle restaurant is open, that's actually a good deal there. Staff here are working a very extremely difficult job and they are doing great.

this is more about the tercero market. rude employees. girl was glued to her phone. didn’t ask for student id. i scanned my three items and she rudely said to scan one of them again ( i was charged for one more item than i purchased). i didn’t want to go in and argue with her for $4 but still 😭 super rude. would not go back again.

Tercero Dining Commons is just another overpriced and overrated dining hall at UC Davis. The food is bland and repetitive, and it feels like they’re not even trying to provide a decent meal. Just another cash grab that doesn’t care about students. UC Davis can do better, but they just don’t.
