Our dining experience at Dumplin' was truly exceptional. The food was inventive and delicious, and the service was outstanding. A huge thank you to Jeff, the General Manager, who ensured we had an impeccable experience. His professionalism and warmth made the night perfect! 🙏 The Gua Smash cocktail (with watermelon, tequila, and blooming basil seeds) was a refreshing hit! 🍹🍉 What We Ordered: • Hamachi Crudo • Baked Mussels and Scallops • Wagyu Black Truffle Pan Dried Dumplings • Bao Bun Flight • Scorched S'more Sundae

I brought a vegetarian friend here to try the meatless options, and the menu did not disappoint! We had plenty to choose from, and several items can also easily be made vegetarian. The Japanese/Italian fusion concept is really fun, and the GM Jeff has amazing energy and recommendations. In particular, try the the whipped tofu, cucumber salad, $1 mushroom/mascarpone pan-friend dumplings, flaming s’mores dessert, and house-made sake. The yakisoba (sans bacon) is also a standout, but I was so full at that point that I’ll need to go back to fully enjoy it. It’s a small place, so make a reservation and enjoy!

Ethan, our waiter, was super attentive and made sure to explain the menu and the dishes that we were getting. Everything was so good, we got the Fritto and the dumplin style meat and cheese plate with focaccia. Followed by an assortment of dumplings and chicken and meat skewers. We topped it off with the matcha tiramisu. Compliments to Chef Johnny

Delicious dumplings, baos, and ramen! Seems like you can't go wrong with any choice on the menu so will be back to try even more. The matcha tiramisu didn't really have much of a matcha flavor, but it was still delicious.

Fantastic staff, incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Fresh and fun take on asian food.

Incredible dinner for our anniversary! Ethan was so friendly and his recommendations for food were spot on. Waygu and truffle dumplings as well as the dumpling of the day (burrata and kale) were unreal. Bao bun trio flavor profiles were wildly unique and fun. Finished it off with the s’mores dessert which was what we had for dessert on our wedding so that was most fitting! Definitely will be back.

WOW! Love this new spot. Service, food, drinks, ambiance… everything was amazing! Jordan was our server and he absolutely crushed it. So happy to have this new spot in the Highlands! I can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu!

Been here twice and both times I’ve been blown away at the quality of food, the friendly neighborhood vibe, and exceptional service (particularly from Ethan). You shouldn’t come so it doesn’t get too busy, but you should so you understand the neighborhood gem that it truly is ❤️

Loved this place - the manager Jordan was our sever and could not have been nicer. Everything on the menu was delicious and the cocktails were amazing! Highly recommend the octopus / shrimp app, and the Wagyu dumplings. The gua smash cocktail was our favorite. Will be back!

Brought my girlfriend on a date Friday night and it did not disappoint. The food was 11/10 we tried a little bit of everything the lamb and beef yakitori was amazing the dumplings were phenomenal! We ended with the s'more. The service was even better Jordan gave us great service and the liquor selection was out of this world. Couldn't recommend more. Cannot wait to return for whiskey Wednesday.

We ate here for the first time tonight and the food, service, and atmosphere were absolutely incredible. The Wagyu truffle dumplings we could never get sick of but really there was nothing on the menu we tried that wasn’t great. What made it though was the ambiance and service. It’s a very cozy New York style place and everyone there checked in on us a couple of times. Rafael did an incredible job explaining the menu and Jordan was super friendly and had the best drink recommendations (get the gua smash and the sparkling sake!) The chef also served our desert and was a really awesome dude to talk to. Highly recommend this spot!

One of my favorite places to eat! Service was incredible, drinks were amazing, food was delicious. The pork belly bao, blue yu-knees, gua smash, and the smores dessert were all amazing.

First, they give you free booze in the patio while you wait for your table! Raquel was our server and she was great. Food was great and flavorful. Atmosphere was fun and lively.

The burrata & kale dumpling is spectacular and the whipped tofu is a must! My husband swears by the lamb skewers. The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend.

The food here is extremely tasty and the service cannot be beat! Manager Jeff was so inviting and kind - plus the meal was over the moon delicious. Highly recommend the Lamb Kabobs, they were grilled to perfection and glazed with a sweet and savory sauce. Get the Ginger Chicken with Garlic and Coriander Dumplings - you will not be disappointed!

Man the food and service here wowed. We got the shrimp scampi and wagyu truffle dumplings and they were so much better than i expected. The wagyu dumps were the best bite. Then moved on to the chicken parm ramen which surprisingly worked so well with the light broth. The yakitori noodles with bacon and pecorino, absurd. Somehow it all worked. This place should be slammed nonstop. Ethan and jeff provided incredible service as well.

From the the welcome to the ordering experience and the soft touch of a sake shot to start our evening, we loved our dinner-dessert. Ethan was a delightful server to boot!

Went for a later Sunday dinner with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect, from the food to the service to the atmosphere. Our waiter suggested the perfect amount of food for two people (two dumplings and a bag bun order, plus an appetizer if you’re extra hungry). We got the cucumber salad, burrata dumplings, pork and leek dumplings, and pancetta bailing bun. All of it was amazing, especially with the sauces. So glad we’re in the neighborhood- we’ll definitely be back!

The $1 dumpling happy hour is such a great deal!! These dumplings are the best we’ve found in Denver. Super friendly staff too 👍

I was very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! I was apprehensive of Asian-Italian fusion but the food blew me away! Service was terrific and great drinks! Located in a super cute neighborhood too.

First time going to Dumplin and it did not disappoint! Loved the food. The staff was super friendly (especially the tall funny hostess man!). HH there are $1 dumplings. The Hamache plate and cucumber appetizer are a must try!

Food is awesome! We loved the shrimp and octopus appetizer and the Dumpling of the Day which was burrata and kale. The drinks were also excellent and unique. The best part was the service Jordan, the GM, was also our waiter and he was so kind, generous, and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

This place has the best vibes the second you walk in! Kira, our server, was super knowledgeable and helped us pick the most delicious dishes off their unique menu. I recommend the pan fried dumps and bao buns. Such a fun date night spot, definitely check it out!

THE BEST Bao Buns I have EVER had! Cant stop thinking about the Sward Fight either... we had the chicken! Honesty, the whole experience was great! Very cozy restaurant and the service was impeccable! I specifically remember Jordan making sure we were having a wonderful dinner and as I looked around he did that at every single table that had been seated. Highly recommend for the food, the service and the laughter!

Stopped by tonight and loved it! Can’t wait to go back, especially since the patio is pup friendly. Service was so friendly and attentive, food was great, vibes were great. The GM even ran out at one point and offered a passing by family with young kids to come in and get fun bracelets. Been meaning to try this place for a while, so glad we did.

The team here is 12/10. Yes, the food is fantastic. But my fiance and I went here when they first opened and loved it. We had a specific dessert that was without a doubt the best I've ever had. I talked about it for a month and when we went back with friends, they had changed the item out for another dessert. I was devastated. The head chef heard about it and proceeded to make it himself from scratch just for us. I haven't had any restaurant do something that thoughtful ever. That was the sort of thing that leaves a lasting impression. Can't recommend enough.

The team here is awesome! Welcoming & attentive. Cute and cozy atmosphere. I love the creativity on the menu & I haven’t had anything here I didn’t enjoy. White Negroni, shrimp scampi dumplings, scallop & mussels, duck confit Bao buns- all were delicious. Looking forward to trying the ramen this fall.

Super cool spot with amazing food and fantastic service! We had Ethan serving us and he gave us great recommendations, plus was incredinly attentive. We tried the dumplings on happy hour and they were phenomenal - highly recommend the pork, chicken and mushroom. We were also blown away by the Lobster Ramen, super unique and delicious! Highly recommend this spot.

My friends and I came down to north side and happened to pass by this intriguing place….we noticed they weren’t going to be open for a couple hours so we circled back and let me tell you.. WOW it did not disappoint. The dollar dumplings are such a good deal and yummy at that! Luca and Ethan really made our visit special with the complimentary sake and their warm energy. Definitely a 10/10.

Yummy! What an interesting fusion—Asian and Italian…but it works! I HIGHLY recommend the Cacio e Pepe Ramen—simply, WOW. You can tell the ramen noodles are homemade, they’re spectacular. The Yakisoba (strong mushroom flavor-yum!) and Wagyu dumplings were fantastic too, but my fave was by far the Cacio e Pepe. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They really went above and beyond. A little pricy and portions are on the smaller side, but the food is rich, unique, and bursting with flavor. Atmosphere is cozy, with a strong artsy vibe. I didn’t get the veggie options for all the food as I was sharing the food with my parents. But they have plenty of vegetarian options! (Unsure about vegan) Street parking. Not super plentiful (Wednesday evening) but a handful of spaces when we arrived. It is a smaller restaurant, so I would call ahead for groups of 5 and above.

What a fantastic neighborhood spot in the Highlands! We enjoyed the delicious food - definitely try the bao buns, kabobs and of course the delicious dumplings! The Hamachi Crudo appetizer in the Tigre de Leche was delectable and probably one of my favorite things we tried. Loved the atmosphere and our server Ethan and the manager Jeff were so knowledgeable about the menu and made our experience so memorable. We even had our 1 year old with us (he loved the chicken kabob and the focaccia bread!) and he couldn’t stop dancing to the amazing music they were playing! We loved the atmosphere. Can’t wait to return! 10/10

What an amazing combo of Asian and Italian food my two favorites! Went on a random weeknight and everything we got was so delicious. Got two apps including the Frito and Crudo and both had delicious flavoring. We got the $5 Lemongrass sake carafe which was super yummy and they gave us a complimentary taste of. Then for dinner I got the special dumplings that were perfect and my husband really enjoyed his chicken ginger dumplings. The music was a lovely mix of show tunes (Wicked is the dream!) with great vibes. And we were again gifted with a complimentary dessert which was the butterscotch one and it melted in our mouths! Really glad this gem of a restaurant is in our neighborhood! The manager, Jeff was super friendly and fun too!

Food was super yummy, we had edamame, whipped tofu, and filet mignon. I would recommend it all! Staff was very friendly, especially, Jeff! Our super anxious pup even got the princess treatment with a treat and got her picture taken!

The food was delicious and rich and the staff was attentive, though it was expensive for the volume of food. Two people could order three dishes to share and easily have room for dessert. Because of this, it feels like more of a "special occasion" restaurant than a "let's get Dumplin' for dinner" kind of place.

Chelsea Walters

Overall I would say Dumplin’ has a creative food menu that should give everyone in your party something to enjoy however they are quite pricey for being a dumpling house. Two people and we spent $180 with 1 cocktail each, two apps and 3 different dumplings to share. They do charge a 22% automatic tip and are very upfront about it which I appreciate but also it’s higher than all the other restaurants in this area (most are letting you choose and the ones that are still charging are only doing a small percentage like 3% for kitchen staff). The edamame was great, loved the dried curry spice on it. Tuna tartare was more of a spicy tuna mixture than I’m used to but it was still good. We had the wagyu, shrimp scampi, and chicken dumpling. The wagyu and shrimp were our favorites! The complimentary dessert is cute and the whipped cream was quite delicious. Not sure I’ll hurry back based on price but definitely a cute spot to try!

I don’t get it’s Chinese or Japanese , guessed it’s the fusion Chinese,Japanese, American. We got a bunch of dishes ( go by group) so I tried almost the menu . Recommended only the wagyu truffle dumpling, stay away from the noodles, it’s not good at all ( I don’t say it’s terrible) . For the Sashimi , it’s not fresh but the sauce saved it. Vote 5/5

Overall good experience. The Lobster Ramen is nothing like the Ramen Lobster at Bones. That is a total lie. Food was good. Get a table outside unless you love loud music and being unable to hear the other people at your table. Food is decent, but not worth the price.

I am not sure if I came on an off night. The dumplings all had mushy fillings and one of the steamed baskets had dumplings that couldn’t be grabbed because it was so overcooked. A bit disappointed but I’ll give credit for their creativity.

As highlighted in many reviews for this restaurant, the wagyu dumplings are quite delicious. That being said, it is an extremely overpriced menu, and the other plates we tried were good, not great, and simply weren’t worth their outrageous prices. For example, my ramen was $25 and it consisted of noodles in broth with shredded cheese sprinkled on top. It had no meat, it had no veggies. It was both bland and an incredibly underwhelming dish. We were a table of four adults — we all started with a round cocktails, we ordered a variety of appetizers, we each ordered main dishes. We had intentions of ordering another round of cocktails and sharing desserts. However, at the end of the dinner portion of our experience, our plates were collected from the table and we were *immediately* asked about how we wanted the checks split. We weren’t asked if we wanted another round of cocktails, which we did; we weren’t offered the option to order dessert; which we wanted to try — this took us a bit by surprise was incredibly off-putting & uninviting. We felt rushed out of the restaurant and like we had become a bother. Our reservation was at 6pm and we were out the door by 7:30pm. I make it a point to mention that because we weren’t a table that dallied through each course. Sadly, between the overpriced menu and the “get the hell outta here” vibe, it is unlikely we’ll opt to dine here again.

Bonnano Concepts is usually on point but Dumplin misses the mark. Very overpriced for quality and taste. No dish stands out except the Wagyu dumpling. Restaraunts such as Mizuna and Luca will cost for an experience that is worth it, this one isn’t.

Let me begin with that the staff was very nice and informative! This was necessary because the menu was bad. Everything from the font, spacing, and hierarchy of dish to ingredients. I have worked in the restaurant industry for a long time, but even my friends who haven’t had a hard time getting through the menu. I absolutely love the fusion of Italian and Asian concept but wasn’t well executed. The price per person worked out to be $55, this was with drinks. This was way too much for the quality and portion size of food. I think a graphic designer and tighter menu would go a long way.

When I saw this restaurant pop up, I was so excited to see the level of creativity that could be had with the asian/italian fusion style. Sadly, I do not believe the kitchen has the talent needed to elevate this restaurant. The idea is there, but the flavors are lacking, I opted for the special, a chicken parm raman that the waitress hyped up.. This consisted of a chicken parm cutlet in a bowl of raman...it tasted like my 10 year old nephew made it. I literally felt my ancestors roll over in their grave and hex me for eating it. As an Italian from New York where food is the way to the soul and holds high levels of respect, I was majorly let down. There was no creative effort put it to this dish. Let's be real guys, a crispy chicken cutlet should never rest in a luke warm bowl of broth, the disrespect bro... Italian people do not mess around when it comes to their food, you cannot put out a dish that poor at a during your opening few weeks and expect people to come back. The dumplings were okay, nothing blew my mind. This restaurant has me questioning if asian and italian should be infused at all.

Really overpriced, and the food was quite bland. Creative idea but definitely missed on execution. The dessert, though complimentary, was just… not good. Really nice service and atmosphere, just not worth your money

We were big fans of Bones’ lobster ramen, and visited Dumplin’ when we heard it was on the menu there. It is most definitely not the same recipe, and ultimately wasn’t very good at all. Aside from that, having also ordered various dumplings, bao, and desserts for our group, we found all to be ok at best. Service also had several missteps. All in all, a disappointing evening and would not recommend.

C
Cody Bates

Food is good but extremely overpriced. You can get real authentic Asian food just down the street on Federal, or even across the street at Himchuli and Ubon Thai. And we all know it. They offer almost no dietary restrictions which is pretty important to note. El Camino across the street has one of the best lunch specials in town. But this? Pass. Also, if you’re sick of restaurants adding egregious auto-gratuities then don’t eat here. The management and service is quite professional. Couldn't ask for better service really, but the product is in question. Though the ownership is probably not worth your money when we have so many other flourishing businesses that put real love into their craft and staff. More importantly, businesses that keep Denver alive and affordable. It’s your call. The Ramen is good. But at what cost? I’ve worked in the Denver restaurant industry and events/nightlife for almost 10 years and I do not recommend this establishment.

M
Michael Bender

Terrible meal. I want to start by saying that the staff was friendly, but the food did not meet even a one-star expectation. I ordered the chicken fried rice. The total, including a mandatory tip, was over $30! They add a 22% tip on top of your meal even for takeout. I’m all for taking care of the staff, but 22% on takeout is insane. For a single order of chicken fried rice, it was over $30. There was about half a chicken breast worth of protein. The rice tasted generic, like something you'd steam from a bag. It’s worse when you feel like you completely wasted your money. I had high hopes spending $30, but it did not meet my expectations at all. Extremely disappointed.
