The food here is delicious! It reminds me of my mom’s best friends cooking, reminds me of home. Pho ha plus became my favorite Restaurant. If I could give them a million stars I would. Very welcoming atmosphere, really kind and friendly staff.
This place is one of the best Pho places I’ve tried. Every time I want some Pho, I think of this place. Inside the restaurant is amazing, they have TV’s playing sports, the tables are nice and overall environment is great. They get busy at times but the wait isn’t bad. The food is a little more pricey than other places but overall it’s worth it.
Great atmosphere. Beef stew was flavorful, great savory egg rolls and Thai tea is very fresh. Prices are a bit higher than other Pho restaurants. It's worth every dime. Delicious.........
Food was incredible and everyone who helped our table was so nice and so helpful (special shout-out to Ivy). The pho was top notch!
We have been coming to Pho Ha plus for a couple of years now; definitely one of our favorite Pho restaurants in SoCal. They have amazing Tai Pho with delicious broth and the Steak Bahn Mi is so good. We had a great experience with Ivy one of the managers. She helped us pack some of the food my kids didn’t finish and thanked us for our business. It was refreshing to get such a high level of service!
Good taste and a good price. We have to enjoy dinner. I love it, we will go again. Mmmm
I visit Diamond Bar often and this is probably the best pho around for me miles. They have plenty of options and no matter what I try, it is always tasty and delicious. The decor is updated and very clean. The staff is always friendly, helpful, attentive and original to when they opened a few years ago. They don't skimp on customer service. Seems like staff are well taken care of by management. If that is the case, kudos to this establishment!
Finally a new manager !!! Pho HA has redeemed its itself!!! Pho Ha plus is back !!! Wait times are minimal, the last four times Iv gone Iv waited less than a minute or so. Service is fast, food is good, tables are clean, music is quiet and at a reasonable level, prices are fair. You can’t beat Pho Ha!!! Looking for pho? Eat at Pho Ha!!!
Grateful we stumbled upon this place. Food, service, pricing and atmosphere were great. Ivy took time to explain and demonstrate how the perfect way to eat the Bone Marrow was. !!Highly Recommend!!
Me and my boo arrived around 9:30PM, waited 1 minute and were seated as soon as the guy saw us (he was on his break). I ordered a chicken phó w/ a side of brisket and my boo got a brisket pho, they came out nice and hot, it was so delicious! I recommend this place! I added hoisin sauce and some chili paste. 👌
This place is under rated. I had it one time but it's the best Pho restaurant in LA and OC area. It definitely deserves 5.0 rating. Hope it opens more chain stores in Irvine.
This place is hands down one of the best pho Vietnamese places I’ve ever tried!! Always the best most relaxing time when I visit with my family. I’ve tried several spots in upland and in the inland empire but NOTHING compares to this phenomenal spot! Eggrolls and soups are to die for ❤️❤️❤️❤️
My first time eat this restaurant. The food was excellent and delicious. It's very cozy and calm with everything. I really love it. I would come back again too enjoy with families. Everything was amazing.
This is our go to for pho. The staff are delightful and the food is delicious!
Excelente food House special is the best 👌
Deeeelishous! Everything is really just the way you want it. Fresh! Fast food, a chain but 5☆FRESH! Young "students" are right on top of things...fast, smart and well manered. This is a delightful find...one I'll be returning to often. Huge...and slammed! They should win the top restaurant design for the Stirling job they've done... 5☆'s aren't enough. They process the crowds with grace and ease under the careful direction and guidance of an excellent manager. Cudos! On my top 10 List of Inland Empire Restaurants...with pleasure!
I love the outdoor sitting, and the staff was quick and helpful. Everyone we're wearing masks, gloves, and face shields. I ordered a sizeable rare beef pho. It came with plenty of noodles, meat, and veggies. All for a very reasonable price too. The tables were clean; they sanitized before and after a customer came in. There was always someone cleaning and sanitizing tables, seats, railings, and the menu. Overall I highly recommend this place. The food was good, the staff was kind, and the price was fair.
It's always great tasting food, great quality, and ample quantity. And of course always great services. My family loves coming here whenever we have urges for Vietnamese foods. Also, don't forget the ice coffee or tea, whichever you prefer, a little strong but great.
Excellent, clean outdoor seating available with large sturdy tables and lots of space between tables and virus safety plastic dividers between rows of tables, super friendly and efficient staff, many variety of vegetarian choices!! The vegetarian pho in mushroom broth is delicious and is served very hot temperature with lots of broccoli and mushrooms and tofu and other veggies! The bits of fried onions was a nice touch to the broth!
This is the most delicious pho I’ve had in my life. I’m not Vietnamese so maybe I’m crazy, but I was absolutely blown away. It’s not often that I eat so much that I’m in pain, but if you’re reading this, there’s a chance I’m still at the restaurant and I may need your help to roll me out. This ones a winner!
Pho was great along with the egg rolls. Place felt clean.
Pho is freaking so good but the service was a bit slow but perfection for pho the noodles were like the taste to heaven and the place was decorated greatly also the spring rolls were very good.
Probably my favorite pho spot. The broth consistently comes out hot and savory & it's never cool nor diluted. Highly recommend getting the bone marrow soup with a side of noodles. It'll definitely be enough for 2 people. Service was incrediblely nice and friendly. They saw us struggling to pack our left overs so two waitresses came over to help us.
If your craving a good bowl of Pho, Pho Ha is the spot. This is a recently opened restaurant. Extremely clean. I didn't notice any garbage carts which I've seen in old school Vietnamese restaurants being wheeled around the dining area collecting unfinished food and plates. I ordered the number 7 Pho with beef eye rounds and tendons. Decent complex aromatic laced beef broth with hints of star anise, onions and of course fish sauce. Rice noodles were firm and not soggy. My suggestion is if you do order any of the Pho dishes with beef eye rounds to order the beef on the side uncooked on a plate so the meat does not become over cooked and chewy from sitting in the hot soup . The menu here is a little pricier than other pho places in the area by about 1.00$ . Hip and trendy decor and staff. Young front of house staff. Ha is easy to access from 57 freeway.
This place was outstanding! My 80 year old mom is very picky about food, so when she actually likes something, it's a miracle. She had been there previously so I took her for her second time because she loved it so much, my first time. Was a cold rainy day that day, walking in we were welcomed with warm delicious smell of Pho and Vietnamese broth in the air, niiice. Mom ordered the Rice Vermicelli with chicken, again, it was like a beautiful garden in a huge bowl. Very fresh and plenty of well seasoned chicken. I got the specialty beef stew with rice noodle and it was sooo delicious. Broth had flavor for days, little spicy, great seasoning, very tender meat and plenty of food. Loved the little side plate of sprouts and greens, they melted beautifully into the broth. Was incredibly tasty! Nice servers too and well priced for all the food we got. Will definitely be back!
I really like the place. Quiet and calm, there were no people yelling at each other like in typical Vietnamese restaurants. Service was quick and the server was attentive. We ordered no 1 and no 46 with spring roll as appetizers. The price was higher than other pho restaurant but the meat and other topping inside our dish was a lot more too, so it’s worth it. No 46 dish was pleasantly delicious, the veggies/salad was cold and fresh, and the meat topping was packed with lots of flavor. Definitely will come back soon.
This is one of the prettiest pho places I've been to. I really like the service servers are quick and you get your food super fast. My husband and I always go for the bone marrow soup it has no noodles, but it's super filling and delicious. The broth is so good too. I highly recommended!
Great dining space and delicious food. We were at the reception for a long time "waiting to be seated" as instructed. It wasn't busy, and we do see servers. We were finally seated but needed to take the initiative to be seen. Items were served in random order. There were six orders, two persons finished before the last order arrived. The server who stepped in to help us was attentive and on top of things. If the other team members followed his lead, we would not have customers waiting longer than they should
Went for a lunch with friends. There were 13 of us. The food is good, but the prices are not. A bowl of PHO soup for almost $20, is very high in the area. The service is good though.
Overall great experience, food is amazing, so much flavor and good servings! Truly enjoyed it all. Would've been a 5 if service was a little more attentive. Felt like our server left and we had to go find where to pay.
This is one of the cleanest Pho place I know, it's spacious so there's no wait but the price is at least 25% higher than most places. But it's good, not the best but very good that's nearby. If you really want great Vietnamese food, you gotta try the Golden Deli in San Gabriel.
My Mom and I went there today the food that we've had in the past and present has been delicious. Great service from Febie. She is very attentive polite and very helpful. I spoke to the manager Ivy to compliment Febie for her great customer service. We will be returning to this restaurant for their great food and service from Febie.
Soup was a bit bland but still delicious. Servers are nice but the service itself is somewhat slow.
Pho Ha Plus is hands down the best pho spot in the Rowland Heights/Diamond Bar area. If it weren’t for the legendary spots in Westminster, this place would easily be my #1 go-to for pho. My review focuses on their pho, as the other dishes are average to slightly above average. This is understandable given the local demographics and the lower demand for less popular menu items. One of their standout offerings is their bone marrow, which they’re quite known for. While I’m personally not a fan of bone marrow and find it hard to comment on, it’s worth noting that most regulars seem to order it and rave about it. As a big fan of Pho 79, I know it’s unfair to compare the two, but when I can’t make it to Westminster, Pho Ha Plus is my best alternative for a quick, satisfying pho fix. The proteins are generous, and the broth is rich and flavorful. It does lean slightly heavier on the star anise and cinnamon notes, which may not be for everyone, but it’s easily balanced with a touch of sriracha or hoisin. The pho comes in regular and large sizes, and it’s absolutely worth the extra dollar to get the large portion—you’ll appreciate the upgrade in noodles, protein, and broth. Service is generally quick and efficient, though during peak times, when the place is packed, you may experience slower service. That said, the staff is always friendly, even when they’re juggling a full house. It’s a large space, and they do their best to keep up. If you’re in the area and craving a solid bowl of pho, Pho Ha Plus won’t disappoint. Just remember to go for the large—it’s worth it!
Not the best, but one of the better viet places around the area. Place has plenty of seating, but it can still get busy.
Decided to try a new pho place on the way home. Entrance is a bit awkward away from the parking lot but no big deal. Got sat immediately and order taken. We both got the #11 round steak bowls. It came out in about 4 minutes tops. Lots of meat, lots of good noodles, they have their own pepper sauce that was good. It was a bit oily broth and didn't have as much flavor, but I normally don't order just round steak, so maybe it was that. Either way, good quality, fast service and nice place.
I went to Pho Ha for lunch. I had gotten the charbroiled pork chop over rice and spring rolls. The meat was a little dry but the portion size was fair. I would say it was overcooked slightly but it was still good. The spring rolls were good size for the price. With the peanut sauce, I thought it was delicious. The customer service was good and attentive. I also appreciated the spacious-ness of the place. Overall, it was a good experience as the food was served at a reasonable time and it was tasted good.
Not just a pho place. I am surprised with the variety of unique dishes on the menu, I ordered good old house special pho.. which taste like any other pho… but their other dishes seems much more interesting. My wife had their Bone Marrow, which came in a bucket size bowl with all these very large bones.
Family ran pho restaurant with a lot of seating. Came here with my mom for dinner and there was a 10 minute wait for a table. Service was really slow but the staff apologized for the wait. We had to check in on our eggroll order since our pho came beforehand and we finished already finished it. Nevertheless, the food was yummy and my mom and I split the large combination pho. The eggrolls were very crispy and came with fresh lettuce/onions and fish sauce. Note that if you check in on Yelp, you can get 10% off. I got up to pay the check at the cash register at the end of the meal. Plenty of parking is available. Credit cards accepted. It’s good for kids and large groups.
The place is nice and big. Clean from what I could tell. Food came out really fast. I ordered the bun thit nuong, it's a big bowl, which is prob why it cost $16. My coworkers got the combo pho and the regular sz bowl cost $16 but was the sz of a large bowl from what I'm used too. Overall good food, and good service.
Not shown in pictures, the pho itself was ok with the soup being different from what I'm used to at other Pho restaurants. However, the rice plate was surprisingly pretty good with the accompanying sauce for the dish not being too sour. Only qualms I have is the pricing here is slightly more expensive than other competitors by maybe $1-2, so it's somewhat harder to justify going here often.
Pho Ha is a family owned chain restaurant throughout CA. Not all locations taste the same. Some better than others. Pho Ha Plus is one of the top 3 locations IMO and the ‘plus’ is like an upscale modern version to the others. At first, the prices seem really steep. I get that it’s inflation and CA. In the end, I realized, their prices justify the portions and meal size as well as service. Highly recommend. All the pho are $18, even the đặc biệt. The bowls are deep with lots of noodles and meat. The beef broth was flavorful with the aroma of all the spices. They really take the time into making the broth, creating soft tender meats. There are 6 vegetarian dishes. I got the lemongrass stir fried tofu with vermicelli. The wrong dish came out and they gave me stir fried lemon grass beef. Dang, that looked yummy and smelled so good! I finally got my corrected dish and I was so happy with it. Other places would have a ton of vegetables and herbs at the bottom of the bowl. With little noodles on top and finally the protein. I dislike that plating because i don’t like to mix my food and I would end up eating only the noodles that was on top. It was also deceiving when you would receive mainly veggies. Well, at Pho Ha Plus, everything was proportional. It was not layered on top of each other but rather next to each other side by side. I saw my food and was able to include it with every bite. My mom got the broken rice charbroiled pork with bean curd. The pork met her high expectations. It was tender and had the smokey char marinated flavor. The bean curd was a bit tough for her dentures. Also got the passion fruit tea which had actual bites of passion fruit. Not too sweet or syrupy. They are also known for their 3 layer dessert which they do not skimp on any of the toppings. One recommendation I would like to suggest is to offer uncooked noodles for pho take out. I assumed and didn’t ask. Was disappointed when I got home with wet sticky noodles and not fresh noodles. The reason for deducting one star to a 4. Overall, excellent food, large portions, attentive staff. Plenty of parking. You’re truly getting authentic Vietnamese cuisine made with love and the best ingredients.
It was ok, not too bad. I didnt leave with dry taste with the over usage of MSG. The dining area was bright and broad. Fairly clean. The broth was hot and meat was tender. If you order chicken pho, the breast would a little bit dry. It was not bad overall. But not the best. It gets a 3.8 out of 5.
I tried to give this Pho place a chance but failed at seating a party of one. There were multiple tables that needed busing, there were tables that hadn’t ordered yet and they were understaffed. I usually try to give the uunderstaffed the benefit of the doubt, however you better be hustling. They were not and I had to leave after more than 5 min. As promised o returned to Pho Ha as my first visit wasn’t a true representation. I’m glad I returned. I didn’t feel like hot soup but I knew I wanted noodles. I chose the beef Pad Thai with the Vietnamese egg rolls. Pad Thai was steamy hot with quality ingredients. Fresh peanuts, I chose beef and yummy vegetables made a great PThai. Next time I want to try the shrimp. One note, three cute skinny Asian models walk in with their huge labradoodle dog and sat right down. I have 4 dogs in my house but I would never bring my dog inside a restaurant. I didn’t appreciate that. Otherwise, great meal!
The service started very well, but then there was a shift change, and so did the service! From good to acceptable. The cold noodle with charred pork was very good but the shrimp spring roll was dry, even the peanut sauce couldn't save it. They tasted like they were rolled yesterday morning or even earlier. The coffee was good.
Food 3 | Service 1 | Atmosphere 3 Food and atmosphere are pretty alright, what you’d expect of any other pho restaurant. Service was terrible. Waiter didn’t write down any of my party’s orders and ended up bringing 3/4 of the orders wrong. When we brought up attention on the wring orders all the server had to say was “I know what I heard and I’m right”. The server was rude and didn’t even offer to make corrections on the order. Bonus: server’s finger was in the soup.
Good pho and reasonably priced. The two star ratings were given bc you have to ask for the fish sauce that most pho places have it on the table. The fish sauce bottle was dirty and still have a piece of food stuck on it when they brought it. Got pretty gross out subsequently lost my appetite.
Regular size, house combo pho at lunch. Staff asked us to put our name down, then goes out of order. Parties before and after us were same party of 2. It was ok at best. I normally finish my bowl of pho, but I just couldn't here. It wasn't too much food, it was more the flavor. Service was not was slow. Had to flag our server to order, and eventually get to-go containers. The server would go away from the table and chill for a bit before coming back with nothing.
Pretty disappointed. Got seated right away. BUT, we were seated for over 10- minutes - NO SERVER to give us even water and attention! It's noonish. The place is not busy. They have good selection of food. Not even the waiter, who handed the next table's tab, was aware of us. VERY POOR SERVICE!!!
I was impressed after eating this restaurant's food for the first time, so I go there and eat there from time to time. But today, I got takeout and ate it at home... I almost ruined my teeth. There was no soft meat, mostly soft bones, and the meat was generally tough.
This place used to be good. Especially for family lunch and dinner service. We’ve come twice in a month and it’s been seriously bad service wise. It’s always a very low quality skeleton crew operating the service. I’d recommend the owner pulling the staff together to remedy service before the patrons get upset.
Food is good and always packed. Been coming here for pho for awhile because pho is acceptionally a bit better than other places near home. Can't say the same for their hospitality. Takes them a long while to serve you and once your food is served, they never come back to the table. Took me 10 minutes to get the waiters attention to get me my check. Worse than that, asked a waitress to get me my check, then she started doing something else and never brought us the check. Had to ask another waiter to bring the check. This is definitely not the 1st time as it's been this way ever since the 1st time I started coming here. Knowing service is bad, came because food was good, but along the way, they are losing their taste as well. My last straw after my last visit. Will not be coming back here. Don't understand why servers do not get trained in hospitality.
My first time in this location, I thought it would be a better experience than the last one I had but I was wrong. The food was ok but the service wasn't, we had to wait for a while for someone to take our order secondly when it was time to get the check we had to wait for someone to acknowledge us. The servers working the front was to busy chatting with each other . I waved at one of them and he decided to turn and look the other way definitely not returning .
Sad to say I don't think I'll be coming back here. This used to be my favorite place, unfortunately it fell off a cliff in terms of quality. The pho broth is watery more often than not, and occasionally it has a touch of dish water. I used to work in a restaurant so the detergent smell is distinct and unmistakable... it kills your appetite when you recognize it. The iced coffee is entirely milk and sugar. Recently they changed the recipe, and it's orders of magnitude worse than the previous iteration. This is the most depressing downturn for me. Honestly the service has gotten a better but I'd rather have a server be blunt with me and have food that tastes good. What used to be a bad day for this place has become the norm now, which is a shame because I've been coming here for about 7 years and always loved it. At least its pretty now, but unfortunately it seems the new decor has come at the expense of quality. I recommend the pho ha in Pomona, which has only improved over time with respect to food quality.
I visited this restaurant yesterday ,and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. When I arrived, I had to wait a long time before anyone came to seat me, which I understand might happen if they’re busy. However, things went downhill from there. A waitress accidentally spilled water on me and my family ,they didn’t even apologize—she just stood there and watched. When I asked a togo box ,she gave a small box which is not even fit my food !The lack of basic courtesy and service was really frustrating, and I won’t be returning.
This will be the last time I choose to spend money at this place. It has become painfully apparent that the owner lacks a genuine commitment to running the restaurant effectively and providing quality service. My husband and I each ordered the Pho noodle dishes, enticed by the option to pay extra for large portions. However, what we received was incredibly disappointing. Despite ordering the larger sizes, we found only a small amount of noodles floating in a bowl of broth, that’s unbelievable. They charged $18 for a bowl of soup with noodles less than a regular size elsewhere. Moreover, we decided to enhance our meal by ordering four pieces of beef balls. To our shock, the “four pieces” consisted of a single beef meatball cut into four tiny pieces, which was not only misleading but also cost us an outrageous $4.25. The entire experience felt like a rip-off, and I will not be returning to this establishment.
Super slow service, ignorant waiters. We were seated 10 minutes without any service, no water, tried calling 3 different waiters, they saw us but chose to ignore us, no single response. The waiter who seated us chose to serve the groups arrived later than us. Food came fast though, but I do think the waiters need more training.
The attitude of the waiters is very bad. The business hours are written at 10:00, but no one opens the door after 10:00. There are waiters inside but no one pays attention to your knocking. If you can't open on time, please don't write 10 on Google Open the door, please don't waste our weekend time and mood.
Leaks everywhere. Almost fell going into the bathroom from a huge leak under their sink going all over the floor. No signs put up. Leak in the main dining area. Ordered 2 pho plates and 1 chicken and rice. After a bite of the chicken plate being bland and charred and very oily didn't eat. The 2 people who had the pho have food poisoning today! Expensive and disgusting. Service was mediocre.
We used to love coming here for the amazing food and taste. However, we had to walk out today because we ended up waiting at the front for over ten minutes without a greeting or even an acknowledgment. It’s fine if it’s busy and you let us know there’s a wait for a table. But the servers literally looked past us and wouldn’t make eye contact.
