Fifty50 Navan

I’d seen the ad about dishes from around the world and wanted to try the Sangary Seabass, so I stopped in with my son after the cinema yesterday. The place had a great buzz, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The seabass was bursting with flavour and perfectly cooked. I genuinely felt like I’d travelled to Egypt. My son enjoyed his fish and chips, followed by jelly and ice cream as part of the kids eat free Fridays offer plus a good bit of my Oreo cheesecake, which was far too good to resist 🤣. ⭐️ 10/10 – thank you! We’ll definitely be back.

Phoned last minute for a dinner reservation and we were accommodated very well by a lovely lady. All of the staff were great, our server Alex was exceptional. Both Alex and his colleague, unfortunately I didn't get his name, were knowledgeable about both food and wine. Great menu selection and when food arrived, it was hot and delicious. Decor was fine, could probably use a few touch ups, but atmosphere was very pleasant in an almost full restaurant on a Thursday evening. I will definitely dining here again

We went for a dinner to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a Monday and we booked a table by the window to be more romantic as advised by another reviewer . We opted for the early bird menus which was a good deal (€23.50 for two courses and 26.95 for three).The food was very tasty, service was lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant. The waitress Sam was very helpful and kind. The portions was good (some restaurants make their portions for set menu smaller, but for sure they didn't). We had the warm goat cheese salad. It was a very nice size and super tasty. As a main course we opted for the pollo fungento served with veg and roasted potatoes. Again very decent size and lots of flavour. We don't live in Navan, but would love to go back there another time.

Had the most delightful meal. The food was steaming hot and delicious. Our server Cal was absolutely lovely and so kind. Would definitely come back again!

Good tasty food and affordable price. Except the steak was well done when i ask for medium well. The ambiance is beautiful.

We were there for the second time within a year and the food is still great, so the standard is maintained. Fantastic place, great service, I highly recommend this place

Been here a couple of times, would definitely recommend if in Navan. Services is always excellent and food is always nice.

We traveled from Manchester for a get together just before my brother's wedding. He had clearly eaten here before and I can understand as to why he rated this place. The staff were ever so helpful, polite, patient. The food was excellent and arrived hot. If you do not like a bust restaurant be advised. Avoid as it gets extremely busy.

Despite some misunderstandings during our table reservations, the Fifty50 staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and made our anniversary celebrations truly spectacular. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire staff.

excellent value ..superb food served by uber efficient smilie staff supervised by the ever efficient Lorraine.....and their cocktail menu is amazeballs ! the early bird menu is highly recommended (booking is advised as this place is always busy!)

I've eaten here twice now and it's been fantastic each time. The service is great, food has arrived well timed and very good quality, cocktails are wonderful. I only wish they stayed open a little later!!

I had the pleasure of dining at Fifty50 today, and I was thoroughly impressed with both the food and the service. Zoe, our server, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented dishes. Every bite was flavorful, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into the preparation. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Fifty50 for anyone looking for great food and excellent service. This was our second time going to Fifty50 and just like last time we were not disappointed. The food was so good. The previous time I was here I had their Malaysian Satay Curry and it was so perfect I immediately ordered it again this time. The cocktails were excellent too. So good in fact I had to try a new one with each course and each one left me happy. Our server Zoe was so nice as were the other servers and bartenders. They really helped make a great evening along with the lovely surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. We're looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic place, fantastic food and fantastic staff. I got the tortellini, it was the nicest I've ever had and came out very quickly. My kopperberg was served with fresh strawberry slices and lime. It was a fabulous lunch I loved it. My partner got the steak sandwich and was very impressed with it, I tried it and it was amazing. The chips served on the side were so fluffy and light, nicest chips I've ever had. Genuinely loved eating there.

Hidden Gem. I went here with the family for the October bank holiday. This place is a hidden gem tucked away above a car park. The narrow stairwell opens out into a large ballroom floor At the back. The decor gives for a great ambience. The menu was varied and good. There was a veggie option. #ramblingstampcollectors

The food here is absolutely delicious and they tend to serve quick. And when I was out with my friends it felt so quiet and peaceful, just good food and your friends. Just be careful what you order, it's hard to understand 😭. And careful for the fact that the menu us expensive. And if you ever decide to go, go with a group. Food is even more good with friends...

Good overall the salmon is a very good choice for fish and the pizza was cooked really well

Fabulous service by the boss, there was another young lad who was very polite and a lovely attitude but the young female waiter had a personality disorder. Terrible attitude and she certainly didn't want to be there, I would have given 5 stars if she had even given a smile and didn't make us all feel that we were an inconvenience!! Moving on, the boss was a delight and made our experience (my birthday) very special. She really went above and beyond. The food was lovely and the portions were great. Prices are good too. Thank you for a lovely dinner ☺

It was my family's (2 adults and 2 kids under 5) 1st time here and we were recommended here by a local who worked nearby. It looks like the earlybird prices have recently increased as the original earlybird prices which are advertised on the large outside menu were crossed out and corrected in pen on the inside menus. The cost for 2 courses is now €23.50 & 3 courses is €26.95. It is child friendly with kids menus priced at €8.95 for main and dessert but what I really liked was the kids menu doubled as a picture on the back that they could colour and colours were provided🙌. This occupied the kiddies while we waited for the food which wasn't long at all. For starters, we ordered the spicy chicken wings (choice of 3 sauces given) and garlic flatbread. We were asked by the waiter did we want cheese with that and we said yes. For mains, we shared a Marguerita pizza with 2 toppings and the Malaysian Satay Curry between us all. The sauce on the spicy wings was very spicy (for my liking) although we ate all. The garlic cheesy flatbread, pizza and curry all exceeded our expectations. All very good & very decent portions. The base on the flatbread and pizza were thin and not stodgy at all. We ordered a jug of Miwadi for the table and were charged €1.50. I also had a diet coke @€2.80. My only gripe was when I went to pay I noticed we had been charged extra for the cheese on the garlic flatbread @€1.45. I think either the waiter needs to inform that this is extra on the the early bird menu when ordering or note it on the menu so that there are no surprises. Overall, we were impressed with the food, speed of service, kid-friendliness and would return & recommend.

The staff were nice the service was good. The warm goats cheese salad was good as was the chicken and chorizo pasta the 50/50 burger was a bit dry and bland. Nice coffee. Worth a visit.

Good food and staff, but parking in the Navan shopping area is terrible and dangerous. Cars are everywhere searching and fighting for parking spots.

Fish and chips were flavorless except for oil. Burgers were ok. Never checked on once after we gave order. Not an enjoyable meal.

I found it to be a bit limited in variety on the menu. However the decor was lovely. The food was superb and the service was very sufficient and friendly. I will say the drinks on draft having only one option is a significant let down for a place like this. Cocktails galore but I could only have Peroni if I wanted a pint.

I was disappointed with the restaurant on this visit. They had no recording out booking. They "squeezed" us in but our table felt Inthe wayand like an afterthought. Place was too packed and the volume was almost unbearable. Service was very slow. Drinks orders, when they actually took one, took about a half hour. They were tasty when they arrived but still average. The starter of hot wings had very fatty and chewy chicken. The main of some sort of satay had a tiny piece of chicken hidden in a swamp of satay. The only reason why I haven't givens worse rating is because I've had better food here. It's always too busy and has a frantic atmosphere though. Shame.

Decent prices, big portions, food was alright😐, place was empty👻, personally wasn't impressed by anything and probably would choose a different place for dinner next time.

Food was nice 20 quid for a burger & chips not bad when dining out. BIG downside I have a buggy this place is up 2 flights of stairs. Not buggy or wheelchair accessible. The wall next to us was also covered in splash from food and or drink + wax from the candles felt kinda dirty. Staff are pleasant and quick to help 😊

What a shame when it comes to food! They have good bannofee though. Started with calamari which was soft not crispy at all. Had Asian noodles with salmon. Being an Asian myself, it was definitely not egg noodles. More like linguine? Salmon was already blanched or pre-cooked. Skin was not crispy at all. It was massive chunk! Don't even get me started on the veg mangetout as it was rotten!! You can see from the pic. The mangetout and "overcooked" salmon! Nothing fresh about it. Sauce was tad too sweet to my liking. Veg was supposed to be thrown out but they put it in the noodle anyhoo. Service was great must say. Quite expensive for two of us, it came out to €85+ 😳? Excluding 10% tip that I gave almost €100??

I normally enjoy the food, but I got the duck with the trio of sauces, the 3 sauces were too sweet and there was so much of the sauces that I had to ask for another plate so I could just eat the duck and the vegetables. It was impossible to eat it with the meat swimming in sauce.

The atmosphere was nice, but I was disappointed with my steak. I ordered it medium rare, but it was served well done and unfortunately very dry. I hope the kitchen can pay more attention to cooking preferences in the future.

Had a meal here on New Year’s Day. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience due to the fact that the restaurant was absolutely freezing. Customers were all wearing coats we should have known . After getting our starter I queried this with our server who was a very pleasant girl & she told us that the heating was broken. We should have left after the starter but we stayed food was just ok stir fry which was actually swimming in sauce. Mentioned our dissatisfaction with the cold to the girl on reception when paying the bill she apologised we weren’t offered any discount . It is unacceptable to open a restaurant in those conditions when the temperature outside is 5 degrees . Management need to have a good think about the decision to open & not have the cop on to get a couple of heaters from somewhere & plug them in . Couldn’t wait to get back to the car to put the heating on .

Ordered wings with sauce and they came out with the wrong sauce. The next batch was also wrong — not tossed, just sauce thrown on top. The brie was overcooked, and the portion size was very small for the price. Disappointing experience overall.

They mandated a 30% tip. Food was very bland and meat was very tough. We had a party of 10 and all tried each other’s food, nothing was seasoned or tasty. Sauces were watery and flavourless, steak couldn’t be cut with the steak knives. They also hadn’t put enough tables together to fit us all, so we were on top of each other the whole meal. We didn’t want to complain or cause a fuss but no one was happy. When we went to pay, they said as we were such a large party they had a policy about the tip. No one even got alcohol, just water and food. They didn’t serve us any more than a smaller party. We thought the tip we decided was very generous considering the food, but they were very unhelpful and just kept saying it was their policy and it had to be paid. Wouldn’t have bothered me much if the food had been decent. Not a nice experience at all. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

Ordered the burger and hand made chips. What came out was an utter disgrace. Old salad on the burger. The patty was small, burnt on the outside and tasteless (used frozen mince). The chips were of course frozen chips. Normally the burgers here are top notch. Walked by the kitchen and the cooks were new and very young and my partner noticed all the staff were new. The prices have gone up by ~15%. The manager offered his apologies, but the cost cutting on a basic burger an chips and price increases has left a sour taste.
