Great service! It was the second time we visited, and the service was better this time. Sometimes, it is just the people and how their day is going, this time, the waiter offered us better price combinations for kids plates, which we appreciate it. The food was delicious and a good portion. The only downside again was the bacon 🥓 it was undercooked, but again, we went on a rush hour. They had a lot of people waiting for food, so in a way, it is understandable that they only have one mistake. The red potato is really good, Ask for a side. You will not regret it. In general, this restaurant has been good, clean, and organized, and the staff care about you. If you had a bad experience in the past, give it a try again like me.

After they first opened, they struggled with food quality and service, so we stopped going. Today, we gave them another try and it was excellent. Food was good, the waitress was superb!! All around, the place is clean and the overall experience was really good!!

Very impressed with this Denny’s location - it has a very sleek and clean look. The high ceilings are great, and the service was impeccable. Didn’t get to take pics of the food, but everything was delicious.

Came on New Year eve with my family. Sergio was our server and he was so kind and sweet. Came and checked on us, refilled our drinks in a timely manner. Food was really good, I had the stuffed strawberry French toast 😋 👌 definitely recommend.

I was immediately greeted by a friendly server and it was perfect there on out. I was promptly served hot coffee and my order was taken. I ordered the Lumberjack Slam which consists of two buttermilk pancakes, grilled ham, bacon, sausage links, eggs, hash browns, and white toast. It was filling and tasted good. All cooked perfectly. The cost was reasonable and the restaurant was very clean. I will be back

Haven't seen in a Denny's in a couple of years, and last night reminded me why. We stopped at the Denny's in Eagle Pass Texas on our way home, from needing to cross the border. Anyhow - it was around midnight when we arrived. The employees had half of the restaurant closed off for cleaning & mopping. There were kids running throughout the restaurant - screaming - with neither the parents or employees taking any kind of action to quiet them down. My wife and I ordered the Ultimate Omelet with hash brown. The omelet was OK, but the hash brown was dripping with grease and dried up, like it had been on the grill for an hour or so. After our meal, I had to ask our waitress 3 times for our check. The only reason I'm not giving it a 1 star is because I love Denny's, and I think the "bewitching hour" may have had an effect on the employees here.

There’s my first and last time eating in this place, I thought my experience would be great as the Denny’s at Fort Worth, but it was not like that, I’m so disappointed with the manager and the waitress, an old man and his grand son sit down on empty tables and they ask him to go back to the line, come on!! the old man arrive with a lot of effort and they are asking to come back to the line?? For real?? Also a lot of people they had to leave due to the time they had to wait to get a table, man, owners please do something here, I would like to back if the may organize better then now…

Seems like a cluster my server Erika was great. Food was good but it’s really cold atmosphere ac needs to be adjusted to the season or time of day. But I know it will get better as time passes opening months are always hard.

I will be commenting on this restaurant only based on my most recent visit that I had a few days ago. The reason that I'm saying this is because when this location first opened, the reviews were horrid. It was reasonable for me to say that I was skeptical as I have always enjoyed Denny's since my childhood. And, of course, seeing all these reviews made me not want to go. However, I do believe in second chances. With that being said, I went to get a very good breakfast. I was hoping that it would be just as great as I have remembered. I ordered the lumberjack while my wife ordered the sirloin steak, which is not pictured. To my surprise, the steak was perfectly seasoned. It was cooked exactly the way she wanted, which was a medium well. The mashed potatoes were nice and creamy . The corn was also very delicious. For my dish, the pancakes were nice and spongy. The bacon was crisp. The links were wonderful. The only thing I was not a complete fan of was the hashbrown potatoes, but that could be easily fixed with a dash of salt, in my opinion, of course. My wife is gluten intolerant, so having more gluten-free options was very much appreciated. Our wait time to receive our food was also very fast. This has seen the most improvement since the early days of this place. While the first reviews talked about the long wait times, I experienced quite the opposite. The staff was also polite, knowledgeable of the menu, and professional. The physical location is centered right in front of Lowes and next to Walmart. The actual building still seems relatively new. Everything looks nice. Most importantly, to me, the restrooms were clean. I went around 11 a.m., and people were already there, and it was slowly starting to fill up. Yes, it's the holiday season. It's busy everywhere. But the breakfast was a great start for our Christmas shopping. It's not really spectacular, but if you want an old fashioned American breakfast at a reasonable price, in a warm neutral setting. I would recommend giving Denny's one last chance.

I'll shoot you straight. It is a new restaurant in eagle pass, so everyone visits because of its sudden availability. Clean restaurant and extremely friendly staff. Can't say enough about how nice and friendly everyone is. But...it's packed. And a large portion of those are Mexicanos from Piedras. You'll have to wait for a seat at peak times. Also, when we went it was disorganized and many of the items on the menu were not available.

Serves my tea in a broken cup? The place was somewhat clean. The bathroom toilet glued to the floor with pounds of caulking? Poop paper next to the toilet or in the trash. Did I mention this is a new Dennys? Service is terrible!!!! Still better and cheaper to go to Texas Roadhouse next door. This place is nasty! Dont even go to the bathroom here! Fully staffed yet service was very very minimal. The food was good it was just the service I didn't like. After we got our food no one ever came to ask if we needed anything or if we would like refills.. there was 8 employees upfront, more in the back and 6 busy tables including ours, total of 11 customers, half the tables in the restaurant hadnt been clean or cleared too. Never got extra napkins or refills. I see why people say they don't like this establishment.

The food was very good. I understand it recently opened looks like they are short staffed. Bad service. I had to ask the three ladies chating at the cash register to send a waitress to take our order and so did the table in front and at the side. Could tell they were also desperate to have their order taken. The place also lacks cleanliness. Our sugar container had two new sugar packets all the others were open or empty’s

Alright ima be honest I never post any reviews but me and my freinds just wanted to order food, and we asked for abit of time but we instead got a 30 minute wait while the waiters purposly ignoring our table. We asked for another server to come to our table,but quickly disregarded our question and went back to his spot. This place surprised me with how much the employees lack in helping customers

Entrance side walk is gold with bird poop. Got seated immediately and given our menus. Only 2 other couples were inside the restaurant at the time. Cooks hearing loud music in the kitchen that can be heard to the front seatings. 20 mins go by and another party of 3 enters and get offered drinks and what they were gonna eat. At 30 mins we advise them that we haven’t been attended. Manager apologizes in the poorest manner possible. We were wondering why the places isn’t normally packed but we figured out why.

Service was terrible. The waitress couldn't speak English and didn't offer to get one that could. Fortunately we had a bilingual friend to interpret for us. There were several employees present and most were standing around doing nothing. It was not busy. There were only a total of 4 tables with customers. Even with that many employees, we had to wave to get someone's attention to let them know our order wasn't complete. Nobody checked on us to see if everything was okay. The food overall was good, although my corn and mashed potatoes were cold. This place is giving the Denny's chain a bad name.

Ordered Doordash from this place and my order was delayed a whole hour. And I ended up canceling.

I ordered a Breakfast plate and said no sausage due to allergies and sausage link was placed on my plate the Grease went in to my eggs and hash browns The waitress refused to exchange it so I pushed my plate to the side and ate my creeps and those were good . My husband's food was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were gooey and had a mouth full of flour. I have been waiting for the general manager to call 1 week later still no call

Went inside the restaurant was less than half full. Maybe even a little less. Plenty of open tables. I was informed it would be a 45 minute wait because they can’t keep up. I think it was because I was alone. Either way I’ll never try to go back. Huddle House seems to want my business. Do better Eagle Pass Dennys.

Bunch of waitresses were just sitting around talking with the manager Elizabeth which she failed to do her part as A manager she should have been making those girls tend to tables instead of watching one person on the floor struggle while four other waitresses are there doing nothing. Their shift didn’t end till 5pm so there is no excuses for the bad service. Our waiter Joseph was great he tried to keep up.

Never had to make a bad review like this ever in my life. AWFUL SERVICE. Called manager, and was absolutely unprofessional. We lasted about a hour and never got our food. We spoke to manger and she seemed very unbothered. They all need to get fired. NOW.

It's not even about the food that was bad but when I went here, my grandmother told the guy that the food didn't look right. the guy who served us rudely said " what do you want me to do about it" I get it you don't cook it and you serve and I not saying the customer is always right cause they are not, but when you are a server, it's your job to treat the customers with kindness and make them feel comfortable enough to share with you their concerns. It made my blood of boil hearing the way he talking to my grandparents. I get it he may had a bad day but no need to take it out on my grandparents. The manger was sweet and offer to take her plate off the bill.

I recently had the worst experience of dining here at Denny’s and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for customer service. The service it was absolutely bad. The waitstaff seemed not welcoming and untrained. It took an eternity for them to make the food over a hour and it was not even busy, and when they finally did give it to us they seemed annoyed about us being there. Our drinks were constantly mixed up, and we had to repeatedly remind them of our requests. Speaking of the food the dishes lacked flavor it was horrible and the fries were poorly seasoned. The wait time for our food was extremely long, and when it finally arrived, i was no longer hungry and it was tasteless. It was a complete waste of money and left me feeling unsatisfied and disappointed. Just to add in the prices at this restaurant were expensive for the quality of food and service provided. Overall, I would strongly advise not to come to Denny’s. The terrible service, and quality of the food make it a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and find a better dining option elsewhere

Manager mad and rude to customers, wait staff just talking and ma fun if customers and on their phones in the clock, host rude and on the phone. Just 2 good wait staff that's only why I have 1 star. My order got skipped by 5 groups that got there after me and 2 big messed up orders from a waiter. They need better management for sure. I will be calling regional and making a formal complaint.

Service at this Denny's was awful to say the least, our server never came to ask if we needed anything. When she brought our coffee, she walked away quickly, we had not been given utensils and we had to ask another server for some and she never returned with them. Finally when our food came we asked for utensils again and she brought them. Then my food looked like it had bitten into, again our server was no where to be found, so we asked another one and she took my plate and brought me another one. Finally our server came to ask how we were and we let her know and she went and told a manager, came back with a plate with sausage, I told her I didn't want that and she said the manager told her it was complimentary. Regardless to say we had an unpleasant experience, I left the plate of sausage she brought and the replacement as well. We definitely will not return to this establishment.

Our food took forever and once it got to the table we weren’t given silverware or napkins. I had to go behind the register and get my own stuff because no one ever came to ask if we needed anything or if we were okay. I asked to speak to the manager and her excuse for the poor service was “Sorry our server is new.”. Lots of workers just standing around on their phone. This is the worst experience of my life. I will not be going back. Very unprofessional service and workers. Not sure how they are still open.

I walk in at 11:55pm. I get seated in a booth. I wait 10 minutes or so and a family of 4 walk in. We wait another 5 minutes or so AND THEY ARE SERVED FIRST. I WAIT ANOTHER 10 MINUTES to finally place a order. I sat waiting for 25 MINUTES FOR JUST A CUP OF COFFEE. Check the cameras for proof. How did I wait for 45+ minutes and get served last when myself and group of 4 were here. Come on...

Worst experience of my life the Server was rude the kitchen was under staffed, had a wait on our food. Then the Server said she would keep the drinks coming and she didn't, then tried lying to us when we got up to leave saying the food was ready and it wasn't. The Server needs an attitude check and her hours reduced. Because that is not customer service.
