Kim and Mike always take care of us! The portions are always enough for two meals, hot and fresh! Thank yall for the great service and dinner! We did take-out tonight but also love dining in, the atmosphere is intimate and the service is always great!
Everything was so GOOD! Customer service was great and our waiter was awesome! Prices are super reasonable and food portions are great! Thank you Prima Pasta for having us tonight!
So glad we decided to try this restaurant for lunch. The food was flavorful and the portions were plentiful. Already planning my next visit.
The pink sauce is so good! Its the best ive had. Definitely going to come back. Kids even loved the pink sauce 😍 💓
Love the Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo, Spicy Pasta Penne with Sausage we add the bread and get the garlic, herbs and oil to dip in. Their food is always delicious and fresh. The bread is some of the best in town.
I was very amazed at the speed that our food came out and it was hot. The wait staff was very attentive and fast with their service. We will make it a point to come back often.
This was very good. The owner is the sweetest lady as well. Exceptional service and phenomenal food. Can hardly wait to be back for more!
Whoa this place is good! Had the Prima Pasta Tortellini, probably the best dish I've had anywhere in a while. Service was phenomenal, owner was very sweet. Will be back very soon! Great food!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Prima Pasta in Texas, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and tasteful decor that set the perfect mood for an intimate dinner. We started our meal with the classic Bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful. For the main course, I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and it was absolutely divine. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the Alfredo sauce was creamy and rich without being overpowering. My dining companion opted for the Spaghetti Carbonara and was equally impressed by the authentic taste and generous portion. The service was top-notch. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that our needs were met promptly. To top it off, we indulged in their Tiramisu for dessert, which was a heavenly end to our meal – light, creamy, and with just the right amount of coffee flavor. Overall, Prima Pasta offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in Texas. 5 out of 5 stars!
I stopped for dinner on my way through Brownwood. I ordered the linguini with broccoli, garlic and oil. It came with two delicious rolls. The food was wonderful! (I ate more than I should because it was so good.) My server was very kind and attentive. A great first experience. I highly recommend!
Excellent everything ! The only thing better than the food is the atmosphere. The only thing better than the atmosphere is the food. Our waiter was Patrick and he left nothing to desire. He had/brought everything that went with the meal the first time and kept our glasses full . Service with a smile made our lunch even better. So be sure to stop in and ask for Patrick. The others are probably good to but why take a chance. Prices are reasonably. Amounts are really generous ( wear stretch pants ). Parking in the back. You can enter from the hiway or around the back of that Hotel next door. If you are handicap mobile, you are going to need help opening that big front door. There are 2 of them to enter the restaraunt . The only complaint I had was the bathrooms. They're beautiful and very up to date but needed attention badly.
We thought the food was pretty good. Kind of had to wait to be seated even though it wasn't really busy. But it's better than Olive Garden. I got the chicken Parmigiano, and my hubby got the pasta Primavera. One of my kids got a pizza, which was a lot bigger than a personal one, which was awesome! My other kids got spaghetti and meatballs and she loved it. We'll definitely be back.
Ate here for dinner on a Sunday evening. I enjoyed myself, and it was a good dining experience. The do have a decently large dining area with it about half full as it was a little closer to closing. +Wait staff was really friendly and attentive. They seem to have a group of younger, maybe high school or college age men working here at this time. +Food was good, fresh, and tasty +There were positive vibes with all of the other tables, as they seemed to be enjoying themselves -I'm not a huge fan of places where wait staff gather at the pay out area, which was also their entry area to seat guests as well. It's not that I mind them gathering together in a staging place as they wait to help patrons, but where everyone is coming in and out at the front counter I don't think it's the best way to do it. -Wasn't a huge fan of the bread, but not a deal breaker by any means.
1st I'd like to thank our server Zach for his patience while he was helpful not only to our table but every table he was assigned. 2nd,the portion sizes were as advertised from others that prompted us to visit here. Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about the food outside of the garlic cheesy bread and the pasta sampler (someone else ate it). I took a bite of my daughter's grilled chicken alfredo and I see why the loved it. It tasted like what they make at home from a jar of Ragu Alfredo Sauce. The Eddy's Special is far from it and tasted as bland as the girls dish. For the $12 (grilled chicken alfredo) and the $18 (Not So Eddy's Special), I expected a better product than we were presented. I realize the cost of preparing meals has increased but that doesn't mean the quality of food (due to no seasoning prep) has to make the meal suffer. Plain grilled chicken with no type of seasoning whatsoever in addition to the sauces or vegetables or shrimp in my dish. I've worked off and on in the food industry for 15 years and I've never experienced the lack of pride the kitchen staff displayed on this visit. Most of the time I'm blown away with a meal that I'm able to recreate the dish at home from the explosion of flavors left in my mouth. As I stated earlier, it tasted like the meals my 9 and 13 year olds make as they're learning to cook. Actually I apologize to both my kids and Ragu for insulting them. I'm not going to lie about eating my entire dish, but I also forked out $20 and was not letting it go to waste or back in the kitchen. I Hope after this review that changes will be implemented for a better product or I may have to step in the kitchen to show them how it should be done as they watch the compliments flowing in about the upgrade in cooking ability. The portion sizes and our server Zach is merely the reason why you received a 4 instead of a well deserved 2!!
Arrived at 3:30. Got seated right away. Server took drink orders of tea. Didn't ask sweet or unsweet. Brought sweet. Hubby ordered Cesar Salad & Pasta Sampler. I ordered Senior Size Chicken Alfredo & Garden Salad with Ranch. Waiter brought salads. I got vinegret dressing and he ask hubby if he wanted Salad Dressing for his Cesar Salad. 🤔 He brought the correct Salad Dressings. No bread, had to ask for it. Meals Arrived. Mine was correct and delicious. Hubby's was wrong dish. Never got tea refilled. Ordered Pasta Sampler, Salad & bread to go. Very little in the container. Had to ask for bread. Price? Ridiculous- $70 Won't go back.
Been here several times when we come into town. My granddaughter wanted some Italian food so we came here, big mistake we should’ve left here immediately because we sat down and there was only 3 tables taken and 2 left pretty quickly after that, it was around 8:05 - 8:10 when we sat down and we told our waiter we were waiting on our grandson, he took our drink order. At 8:14 he came and told us the kitchen was closing early so basically we needed to get our order in Now! We called our grandson and placed all our orders , at that point I was feeling VERY uncomfortable, felt like all the waiters and waitresses were just standing there watching us and waiting on us to leave🥹🥹🥹 I don’t know if we will be coming back! They should have just told us they were closing early when we walked in and we would have went Somewhere else and spent our money! Instead they made us feel rushed the Whole time. By the way to get charged $3.09 for the extra house dressing was a little ridiculous 🥹 Never been charged BEFORE
We left our to go box on the table went right back in. Busboy had already cleaned the table i asked if it had been set aside little girl went to check. Busboy said he could get it. He brought it back top was not secure and had other food on the cover. Man setting in booth behind said he saw him dump it in the trash bag. I was very upset.....
Ordered a kids chix fet Alfredo thats 9.99 and a small ceasar salad with extra dressing 3.99 went to pick it up they gave my order to someone else n then charges me 19.79. I questioned the total of 19.79...9.99 plus 3.99 = 13.98. The boy said u ordered extra dressing right? I said yes n he said thats y. So ur charging 4.00 for extra dressing? The machine cc machine wasn't giving receipts. Im here working at the Military base at Camp Bowie and staying right next to the restaurant...well I won't be returning while im here. Definitely a rip off and food wasn't great AT ALL!
My wife and I had lunch at Prima Pasta located in Early Texas on Saturday November 15, 2025. We entered the restaurant and we were promptly seated at a table. The wait staff came over a took our drink order. We opened the menu and chose our meals according to the price that was printed next to the meal items. I must say that the meals we chose were very tasty. I had the pasta combo and my wife chose lasagna. When we were given the ticket, the prices were more than the printed price on the menu. I complained to the wait staff and the manager. They stated that there was a sign on the door. I told that no one reads signs on the door and that customers go my what is posted inside the menu. They would not come down to the prices printed on the menu and grossly over charged us on the ticket. We were visiting Brownwood/Early Texas for a family event and had eate at Prima Pasta many times over the years. Needless to say we will never eat there again. This restaurant is operated by scam artists!!!!!
Some of the worst Italian food I've ever had. I was surprised by all the good reviews after eating here. The Calamari was way too salty could barely eat it. The Alfredo taste like wet flour soup and do not recommend. I was seriously upset I paid for that. We almost just walked out it was that bad.
Our server could not answer very basic questions regarding menu items. We waited a full hour for our entrees. The lasagna dish consisted of pasta, cheese, and sauce - NO MEAT. When I asked the waiter, he did nothing. The picatta sauce was bland, perhaps no lemon added. The bread was wonderful, but we didn’t go for bread. I’ve been here before and was very, very disappointed.
