We went here for Sunday brunch and it was perfect. Not too crowded and the food was very good and the portions are huge. We ordered a small molcajete, the sweet crepes, a green wet burrito, chilaquiles, eggs and rice and beans. Also the piña colada was delicious and the whip cream is the best. Just wish they would have a kids menu and colors for them.

Some of the best Mexican food I have had in a long time, and the Drinks were absolutely AMAZING! Especially that homemade Chamoy on the rim, so delicious. This is a family run restaurant, and the owner is a long time friend of mine. It's so great to see chefs start their own businesses, it was such a proud moment. When you sit down in here, it feels like I'm home, and everyone is treated like family. The prices are so reasonable, and the Happy Hour Menu is ridiculous, you're in for an awesome experience. Everything you try here is made with love, and you can taste it.

My friend treated me to a late lunch today. She had heard good things about El Buen Sazón and we were so happy to have dined there. Eric our server was very friendly and welcomed us to the restaurant. He told us that breakfast was still being offered and let us know about the daily special along with what drinks were offered. We sat outside. The traffic could get loud but did not take away from our visit. My friend and I both liked each salsa that accompanied the chips because they had a bit of a kick! The Tostada Bowl with birria was delicious. I ate too much because I could not stop! My friend chose one of the starred items on the menu, the shrimp tacos. She liked them and thought the beans and rice were good too. I know my friend will return to El Buen Sazón. And next time I come back to town, I want to try more items off their menu. Thank you, Eric for your wonderful hospitality!

The food here was amazing, well what my husband and I had was really good. He had the chilaquiles and I had the birria skillet. Probably one of the best Mexican breakfast I have ver had, aside from Mexico. There really wasn’t anyone there, and it was quiet in the morning. Food came out quickly and their portions were huge.

My husband and I found this wonderful restaurant by Google search -- we were in the area and in the mood for some Margaritas! Man, were we impressed! One of the owners helped us get seated and encouraged us to try their sangria. He offered us each a sample and I was sold!! Loved both the sangria and the mango Margarita! Their drinks are both beautiful and delicious~ garnished with orchids, oranges, limes and cucumbers! A true party in a glass ~ but with a splash of elegance. More like a soiree in a glass lol! I'm writing right now from one of the indoor tables where I set up my laptop to do some work while my husband teaches voice at the Avloni Music Academy. He reached weekly, and to be honest I've gotten tired of the Starbucks routine. This is a welcome change, although not a true Internet cafe. They welcome folks to come and stay a while. The drinks are delicious, the snacks are tasty and the vibe is relaxed, cheerful and welcoming. On the menu, our favorites were the wings, the Tinga tacos and the quesabirria plate. Their chips are thin and crispy, and the salsas are thick & robust with a kick but not too spicy, and they pair beautifully with their handmade guacamole. And here, presentation is everything! Definitely need to try it out if you haven't already. We instantly fell in love.

My daughter took me for my birthday I had a michelada which was $20 I had vegetarian tacos.. They have everything there breakfast and lunch dinner and dessert and appetizers.

Felt like I was in Mexico! Beans, guac, tacos and mango margaritas were delicious. Live music was a bonus!

Chances are, you know this place. It's the restaurant on Saratoga that has a long line every Sunday and the best breakfast in San Jose. But did you know that they have fantastic food the rest of the week? The meats are perfectly seasoned and servings are generous. The atmosphere is cozy and service is unrushed. I have no idea why there aren't lines here every day. Go. Enjoy the birria, the camarones de diablo, or just see why folk love getting breakfast there on Sunday mornings.

Hidden gem! Tested out this new place before ordering mobile catering for my daughter’s graduation party. The food is delicious and the owners are very nice and accommodating. Their veggies tacos and burritos are amazing! Most places just use refried beans and cheese, but here they include onions, mushrooms, bell peppers. They will customize - I prefer black beans to pinto. Be warned - red sauce is pretty darn spicy! The mobile catering was a hit and the cook himself came, cooked the meat at the party with their mobile grill. Their price for mobile catering was very reasonable - I called around to several of the highly reviewed mobile taco catering places and this place had the best price and they took our order less than 2 weeks before the event. We got many compliments on the food at the party, and our family still enjoys coming back to this place! A little pricey for plates and agree with another reviewer I would prefer lower price without the fries for the burrito. Haven’t tried breakfast items yet but per other reviews - sounds like it would be a hit for the fam. Love all the different options on their menu! Seems like their service could be faster - but I think they don’t experienced waiters so perhaps that will improve as they hire more staff. Overall though, the quality and taste is excellent!

I got the birria plate and it was delicious! There was so much flavor, the meat was falling apart, and the tortillas really elevated the whole dish. The wait time was good, too—we were seated and had food on its way in less than 10 minutes. Customer service was top tier, especially the tall gentleman with the beard and black hat and the very nice waitress. You definitely come for the food and stay for the home vibe and atmosphere.

Fantastic food. They are having a little hiccup as they update pricing, but they should have it worked out soon. The food is excellent, fresh and the best I've had in the area-- definitely worth it! Very nice staff too, they were particularly kind to my tired, hungry children.

Saw this place had recently opened and was curious to try. Got to say it definitely was worth it. We had birria tacos and they were amazing!!! Along with the sauce. Also we ordered burritos and the size was perfect. Horchatas tasted homemade unlike other places and staff was supper friendly and attentive. Only reason I didn't put a 5 was it was warm inside and in summer it was a little uncomfortable, but definitely will be going back to get more birria.

The place was very busy during lunch with take out and in person dinning. They seemed to struggle with keeping up with demand and getting all of the orders to the table timely. The food was good and the portions were large-we had enough to take home for another meal. They are a new restaurant and I likely will work out the logistics over time.

Way too noisy with a mediocre food. Service was geat, we went for dinner.

Odd experience. . .we started by ordering quac and chips (only 2 tables in the restaurant were occupied). The chips came right away, but it took over 25 minutes to get the guacamole. Then we ordered 2 Micheladas. (seemed to be a communication problem) One of us got a beer, the other got a michelada. After getting our entrees, we were the only ones left in the restaurant. The waitress started to clean the restaurant and put the tables and chairs away (around us) more than an hour before closing time. She also cranked up the music to 'dance club' volume while she was cleaning making it impossible for us to talk. She never came back to our table. I had to stand up and flag her down to finally get a check. We won't be returning.

They completely changed how they make their food from 1 year ago. The nacho fries have a different cheese, theyre spicy, come soggy and soaked in like 3 different salsa, no garlic sauce, no guacamole. Their rolled tacos come with barely any chicken and crumbled cheese. Idk whats going on here, but this place tanked.

I came here on recommendation from a tik tok. The waiter was super sweet and kind. I ordered chilaquiles, and I asked the waiter not to put any cotija cheese on my chilaquiles to please put quesadilla cheese and queso fresco. When my plate came, it was loaded with none of the cheeses I asked for. Instead, my chilaquiles were drowning in parmesan cheese. No where in the description of the chilaquiles does it state that parmesan is included. No big deal, I thought. I scraped off the cheese and the million onions. I walked in and asked the waiter to please ask the cook to add quesadilla cheese on top of my chilaquiles and to melt it in the microwave. I was standing next to the waiter as he asked the cook. The cook looked upset, grabbed the paper from my order, and mumbled something at the waiter. The waiter explained to him again what I wanted while holding my plate. The cook did not take the plate he left it in the waiter's hand and grabbed a bunch of cheese, and did not take it to melt it. He was super rude to the waiter and, in extension, did not care that I was stabbing there. The waiter apologized to me and proceeded to go to place my plate in the microwave. Needless to say, i lost my appetite and felt terrible for the waiter. My stomach is disgusted by the behavior, and I could not bring myself to eat the chilaquiles. I really wanted to love this place, but one who puts parmesan cheese on chilaquiles, two, dont be rude to your coworkers and customers. We paid and left. Today is September 1, 2023. we were there from 9:15- 10:25 am. The three stars is for the waiter who tried to make the situation right.

The employees harassed me until I moved my car which I had parked near their restaurant because their “customers have complained about not finding parking.” So do their customers only eat there if they have a parking spot within steps of the front door?! There were multiple open parking spots in the lot and there was absolutely no signage to indicate the spot I parked in was reserved. To chase me down at another business to have me move my car was so unnecessary. They did this to multiple people. Mark it as reserved and stop wasting people’s time.
