CASH ONLY! The food is delicious! But they should have a point of sale; there are no ATMs in town, and you can burn through your cash pretty quickly.

We ordered a sirloin burger... the portions were generally good and filling, but everything tasted very greasy, as if it had been cooked in too much oil. The cheese tasted a bit overcooked. There were only the two of us in the place, so the atmosphere was very peaceful. Overall, for the price and taste, I think it's a bit high.

Delicious meat, but the sides were bland and undercooked. Lots of stray dogs roamed the premises. Cocktails were overpriced.

We tried this place a few times, and we're not overly impressed. We had steaks one meal, and they came very raw when we ordered them medium. Also was grossly overcharged for what we received. Tried grilled chicken on another visit, and it came overcooked, dry, and flavorless - well initial taste was of fish, and we think it was simply flavor transfer from the grill. We were gluttons for punishment and tried again, this time ordering sirloin hamburgers. They were not bad, but not amazing. The restaurant doesn't sell alcohol, and their drinks selection was sparse. Also, their hours of operation fluctuate daily. Some days they open at 5, other days they open at 7 or 8. Oh, and the seating area is outside, and uncovered with alot of mosquitoes, so take bug spray!!

Very poor experience: - Only one other couple at the bar, three staff waiting at the table and two more staff at the bar. Still took a while for someone to welcome us. - No drinks / cocktail menu, so had to pick based on what I heard. Ordered a mezcalita, not knowing the price and that is was somehow a sweeter version of what it’s supposed to be. - ordered our dishes: a rib eye steak and a hamburger. Even though we were the only kitchen order, I got my meat at least 5 minutes before my GF got her burger. - The rib eye was incredibly salty with some random undercooked veggies and a boiled potato (was supposed to get mashed). Hamburger bun was hard at the bottom - spent too many days in the freezer. Patty was tough and salty as well. - Literally before having the two last French fries that came with the burger, the waiter comes out to ask how we’re doing…. Well, we’re done… Lastly, the place is full of mosquitoes, for which they luckily have repellent available (you do have to get proactive here). Too bad!

Avoid at all costs!!! Cold fries, but hot Coke! Burger with just a patty and a slice of bacon in the bun, no sauce or vegetables

Terrible experience! We were six people for dinner. Went there because the menu said they had queso fundido. When we were all seated it turned out they did not have queso fundido because they were out of the special cheese and said that cheese was not available at the stores in El Cuyo. Well, the next day we did see all kinds of cheeses at two of the stores, certainly they would have been good for making queso fundido. Then we wanted to order a big jug of agua de limon. That was impossible too, they only serve it in glasses. My husband and I shared a salad and grilled longaniza. When asked what was on the plate with the longaniza, they said just longaniza. The salad was mostly just green leaves and some of them were already blackened at the edges. Our friends had grilled chicken, one order was simply forgotten. No beer available. Very disappointing place, would never ever come back.
