So happy to finally have some great Indian in the 915! Completely kills the other 2 Indian places in town (on the same street). This is flavorful and authentic and on par with great Indian restaurants in large metro areas. We tried spicy goat vindaloo and medium butter chicken and everything was delicious. Don't forget some garlic naan and a serving of mixed pickle.
Flavors that Take Your Breath Away! Tandoor & Curry delivers bursting flavor in every bite! A total win for vegans and vegetarians — the menu is packed with vibrant, spice-forward dishes that don’t compromise on authenticity. We asked for spicy, and wow, they delivered! 🔥 The vibe sealed the deal: fantastic service and a fun throwback soundtrack playing all the 80s and 90s hits — “Take My Breath Away” from Top Gun and all! Between the great food, friendly staff, and nostalgic tunes, this spot hits every note. Absolutely coming back!
A taste of Punjabi, right in El Paso. Very good portions, lots of flavor in every dish. The Mango Lassi drink was also flavorful, a milky semi sweet, thick cream drink. We will come back again!
Genuinely the best food I've ever had in my entire life. Im autistic and a white girl, the most stereotypical picky eater criteria. I walked in here to deliver for someone else, smelled the place and told myself I had to try (WHICH I NEVER DO PICKIEST HUMAN EVER HERE), safe to say those flavors are melting on my tongue and nose. I quite literally screamed because of how good the food is. Lovely humans running this place with the best cooking talents imaginable. I genuinely never want to eat anything besides this place ever again that's how good this food is. Actually unreal flavors best food ever: thank you to the lovely staff who blessed my tastebuds with this
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at Tandoor & Curry! The food was absolutely amazing — we ordered Kadai Paneer, Dal Tadka, and Chilly Naan, and every bite reminded us of home. The flavors were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. It truly felt like being back in India! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Indian taste. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Holy moly! I already can’t wait to come back and try something new! We played it safe and got butter chicken and garlic naan. Both things we know we like and they were delicious! Staff is nice. Also have interesting options for dessert! Definitely will try dessert next time we come! For our dish the wait was about 10 minutes. Nice to have a new restaurant to try in El Paso!
Just What El Paso Needs Tandoor and Curry is one of a pair of new Indian restaurants that recently opened in El Paso. After giving it a few weeks to work out any kinks in the menu and service, we tried it for lunch today. First, a word on the spiciness. When my wife and I ordered Chicken Saag (chicken in spinach sauce) and Matar Paneer (fresh cheese and peas in tomato-onion sauce), our server asked if we wanted the dishes Mild, Medium or Hot. Having vacationed in India and being familiar with Indian spices, we both replied “Hot.” And they were. In fact, both dishes were so chile-hot that the heat overwhelmed the subtle nuances of flavor that are so delightfully characteristic of foods from the Subcontinent. That’s not a complaint; we got exactly what we asked for. But next time, we’ll order them “Medium.” The dishes were well-prepared and nicely presented in classic brass bowls, each accompanied by a small serving of Basmati rice. We also tried two breads, a plain naan and an onion kulcha. The serving sizes were more than adequate; we took about half of our meals and breads home (not any rice, though). The Chicken Saag had big, tender pieces of thigh meat, and the cheese cubes in the Matar Paneer were moist and plentiful. The naan was a little drier and crisper than is typical in Indian restaurants, but the onion kulcha was outstanding. Note that you’ll get bottled water if you request “just water” with your meal. Service was fine, which may have been mainly because only one other couple was present when we arrived (more came in as we were leaving). The chef came out of the kitchen and asked how we liked the food, a much-appreciated gesture. The walls were bare except for some big-screen TVs (which were OFF, thankfully). I assume appropriate decor will be added in time. The place was roomy, bright and clean. All in all, we had a good lunch experience and have every intention of returning from time to time in the future--and we’ll remember to order our meals “Medium.”
A Hidden Gem in El Paso – Exceptional Hospitality and Flavors that Delight! From the moment you walk into Tandoor and Curry, you're welcomed like family. The hospitality is nothing short of fabulous—the staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest has a memorable dining experience. Whether it's your first visit or you're a regular, you’re always greeted with a smile and treated with heartfelt care. Now, let’s talk about the food—a true celebration of authentic Indian cuisine. Each dish bursts with perfectly balanced spices and fresh ingredients that showcase the depth and richness of traditional tandoori and curry flavors. The Butter Chicken is creamy and tender, the Tandoori Chicken is smoky and cooked to perfection, and their vegetarian curries are just as bold and satisfying. Pair it with their fragrant basmati rice or fluffy naan, and you’ve got a meal that hits all the right notes. One of the standout qualities of Tandoor and Curries is the consistency. Whether you're dining in or ordering out, you can count on the same high standard of taste and service every single time. If you're in El Paso and craving Indian cuisine, look no further. Tandoor and Curries isn’t just a restaurant—it’s an experience. With its inviting atmosphere, impeccable service, and unforgettable flavors, it’s easily one of the best dining spots in the city. Highly recommended—5 stars all the way!
The Grill chicken is really good and I am very much satisfied with the Biriyani Quantity, I really appreciate from my heart that we came 9.59 pm ( nearly to closing time), but restaurant person is so friendly to serve us. Really appreciated 🙏
I live in NYC but I would find any excuse to fly back to beautiful El Paso just to eat here again. I discovered this gem a few days before I was scheduled to return to NY. I ordered the Lamb Korma and it was amazing. So much so that I could not put down my fork. The aromas, the colors, the flavors, the very generous portions of succulent lamb and the best Korma gravy I have ever tasted have me wanting to return to El Paso. Everything about this wonderful establishment is a perfect 5 stars.
Delicious and spiced very well. I got the coconut fish spiced medium and it was so good I almost cried. My mom got the butter chicken and she loved it. She told her Indian friend and she even went the same day too. It’s that good. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting to try real, authentic Indian food.
Everything was delicious, I had the chicken malai kabab and naan and it was so flavorful and fresh, definitely recommend! My fiancée had the malai kofta, it was spicy and delicious! The entire experience and hospitality was 1000000/10 🌟 It is an amazing experience; very comfortable and welcoming.

We were at Albertsons ready to shop for dinner and the smell alone made us go CANCEL THAT LETS GO TRY THIS PLACE. And we were not disappointed. The service was great, Monica was wonderful and the food was all 10/10. Good music and good videos. I love the Bollywood dance. Thank you!
The food is delicious and the portions are generous! We ordered kulcha, naan, and two entrees for two people, and we walked out with leftovers (lunch tomorrow)! The onion kulcha is delicious, and I really liked the matar paneer. The staff were friendly and prompt, especially our server, Monica, and the chef came out to check on us too. Eat here and enjoy!!
Stopped by really late for takeout because I was on that side of town. Staff is very courteous and generous, and they’re bilingual. They even recognized a returning customer as I was leaving - which to me shows they care a lot about their service. The food is amazing. The Paneer Tikka Masala is unctuous and delectable. The sauce is perfectly spicy, with a present sweetness from the tomato, very silky and creamy. The butter chicken is another fantastic dish, the chicken is very tender. Portions are generous and the dining area is very clean and brightly lit. I will be returning soon touting my friends along so they can also try this amazing spot.

The food is absolutely delicious worth every penny , can feed a family of 4 with 1 dish 😋. the chef came out to greet us he was so humble and happy to see another happy customer. I came hungry and left with my stomach full and a big smile. Must visit if you love 🍛 curry and authentic north Indian food 😋
You know that restaurant is good when they got a kid doing homework in the corner. This is my fourth visit I've tried different things every time and it never disappoints. Monica remembered my wife and I after our first visit and has made all of our experiences there very welcoming. 5 stars for Monica the best!🥳
When we walked in there was just one other table… not a good sign but it was still early like 6:30 and tge lights were very bright. Monica our waitress came to greet us and bring menus…I asked her about the bright lights and if it was possible to turn on the other lights which she gladly did.. and what a different ambience. The lamb appetizer was brought on a hot skillet! It was ver good. We had Naan bread and a goat dish and asked if they could put mushrooms for an additional charge… the chef came out and asked if we wanted mushrooms and of course I said yes please and would be happy to pay a little extra… he said … no no there won’t be any extra charge. It was very good but beware of small bones. We will be back!
We recently dined at [Tandoor and Curry] and were absolutely blown away by the quality and flavor of the food. This is, hands down, an excellent spot for anyone craving authentic and delicious Indian fare. If you are a fan of traditional Indian dishes, you must try their Tikka Masalas. The food and service were top-notch. Highly recommended!
Newest Indian restaurant in town. The food is spot on. The taste is delicious. Portion sizes are generous. They have a humongous menu, and we have liked everything we had there in the past two dinners. They are just staring up so it looks like they are not fully staffed yet. Service is affected as a result. They also need to work on the frontend for decor and aesthetics. I think these are likely excusable for a new restaurant for the time being, but addressing these issues will really bring this spot into the list of premier restaurants in town. This place has my full recommendation for a delicious and satisfying Indian meal in El Paso!
THE OWNERS KEEP THE TIPS. I don’t wanna throw anyone under the bus, and while the food was delicious I would probably NOT dine in for the simple fact that the owners keep the tips. We were informed of this while eating. I don’t wanna get anyone fired so I’m not gonna be disclosing details but to tell you all, my sister and I were shocked when we discovered this is an understatement. We Decided not to tip on the merchants copy so we collected some cash and gave it to the nice waiter. Shady place if you ask me.. like I said I would probably order again but not to dine in.
I just came into town the past couple days for work and this is A decent indian food restaurant . The chef did a great very mild tikka masala, and the garlic na an is on point. Drinks and Bottled Sodas offered with meal. No water offered. I had to swat some flies away but Maybe its typical for El Paso. ? There's no Decor or cultural representation on the walls. So it's just a big room with tables and chairs. But regardless, I will very likely be back.

I was really excited to try Tandoor and Curry — the moment I walked in, the aroma in the restaurant had me thinking I was in for a flavorful meal. Unfortunately, the food didn’t quite live up to the expectations the smell set. It was just okay. The seasoning was lacking, and the dishes felt a bit underwhelming overall. Not terrible, but not memorable either.
Tried this place out today as we were craving Indian food. The restaurant was not busy, it was about 7pm. We sat down and were not immediately greeted or did we have our drink order taken. We reviewed the menu, and as we were looking at the servers to come over, they took our full order at once. The food was really delicious. Didn’t take too long to come out. We probably waited longer to receive our waters than the food. We did have to keep asking the servers for water, reminding them we were missing drinks, napkins or food items. We had the chicken biryani, tandoori chicken and lentil soup. Really loved the food. The service honestly was very disappointing. The servers were just standing and talking. Never took any empty plates from the tables. They were polite, but they saw us struggling with many plates on the table and not once did they try to clear it. Would definitely order the food to go next time, wouldn’t recommend dining in.
At first, we loved with the food and started going regularly. We really liked the lentil Dal and it was nice having something that my kids enjoyed eating. The last time we went, I was putting the last bit of the soup in need to go to container and found a moth in the soup. It is quite disgusting and it makes you wonder what kind of sanitation practices are going on in the kitchen. Be advised.
