Recensioni di Georgia Diner Elmhurst
The food is so varied and anything I ‘ve tried so far is really good and worths every dollar! The staff is super friendly and nice
Food is great! Everything you expect from a NYC Diner. Good comfort food.
I recently stopped by to grab lunch. The diner was well lit and clean. There are only stone steps to reach the entrance. There are separate areas to order take out as well as pay. Most of the staff still wore masks. There were many customers happily eating inside. Staff were efficient and friendly. Restroom was large and clean. My order arrived quickly.
I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid. The food has stayed consistently great, the service is always accommodating and the interior is timeless. Like everything prices have gone up, but unlike a lot of things the price is worth it.
Great Hawaiian ham steak with pineapples (pick up at restuarant)
One of the few diners where they actually take good care of you every time you come to dine in
The food is simply amazing, great serving and the atmosphere so warm and nice!
Good size portions priced accordingly. Special menus for lunch and dinner have good deals often. Can host large groups. Ambience is inviting and very spacey. Service is good. Deserts are big enough to share. I go there most often.
Had breakfast with my daughter. This is my go to diner.I've been coming here at the previous location for over twenty years, it never disappoints. Everyone's always very friendly. The food is your typical diner food. But made very well always, as ordered Dictated to any allergies or specific dietary needs, I would recommend if you haven't been there and you're looking for a quick breakfast lunch or dinner
A very typical diner with great menu selections. Normally, I don’t like to go to diner but wanted to give this a try, since we always pass by here on our way back from Queens Blvd. As a party of 2 adults and 1 preschooler, we got waffle with chicken tenders (the tenders were amazingly juicy), salad(forgot what we got but the portion size was WOW), sausage & eggs, mussel pasta, clam chowder, cappuccino, all come with very big portion and we also got bread for free. All three of us left with very full stomach and had to get to go, we did order a lot though. Honestly the food wasn’t that great great but definitely above average and beyond my expectation. The bill was surprisingly reasonable, with all these, we ended up paying $80ish. Will def return.
Georgia Diner has been around since I was a kid even though they moved further down Queens Boulevard they still have the best atmosphere of an actual Diner good food great service and everybody is very attentive
Been going here since I was in my twenties. First date with husband of 51 years, back then it was Sage Diner. It's changed but if you like diner food it's great.
I recommend you try the specials at this excellent diner with plenty of parking, a wide menu and professional service. I had an excellent cocktail-Hypontiq Sea Breeze, tasty onion rings, yummy Manhattan clam chowder and the beat Arrroz Con Pollo I have eaten! That last special was unexpected. The portions are large and the service doesn't rush you.
A truly classic diner with excellent selections of food. What stood out to me was how organized and clean the place was besides the great dinner we had !
The food is delicious and the service is great. Everyone is very friendly. We like their sourdough French toast.
We've been coming to Georgia diner for years now and the best thing about it are the familiar faces that have been there probably since the beginning who always make you feel so welcome. Specifically the manager who always welcomes the guests and delivers the best service
I love this diner! I know it was across the street before and it replaced Pops diner and it’s been a top 5 favorite diner’s in NYC for me. I always come here for either breakfast or lunch and sometimes dinner. Can never go wrong getting their breakfast and their burgers are so freaking good. My friend had gotten a penne a la vodka with grilled chicken and she liked it! I just forgot to take a picture of it because I was so hungry and excited for my burger lol. I’ve come here many years and I was never served sliced bread until this time. It was served fresh and so soft! I was impressed …even came with breadsticks and crackers in the basket! My go to diner in queens! If you’re having a drunken night or having the munchies...def should come here! Always so clean and the staff is always attentive. They even have a parking lot which comes in handy being on Queens Blvd.
The staff is decent, the place is clean, and the service is quick. I went there with my friend and the food came out in reasonable time without the long wait. Their pancakes are soft and easy to cut and their food is good. I also requested extra syrup for the pancakes and our waiter was happy to bring it for me without any complaints. Overall, the atmosphere, food, and staff were great and I would highly recommend going here for breakfast or brunch.
came here with my family on a busy morning, but we were seated immediately and the service was amazing! really appreciated the lady that helped my family and i she was generous and patient, the food was really really good my family loved every bite the omelettes, bec, pancakes, french toast and coffee were amazing! definitely recommend with family and friends.
I have been going to this diner since I was 16 yrs. old. Always the best food and service, my favorite waitress is Kim McGee. She is so efficent, kind and always a smile on her face. Ask for her, and you will be very happy!
Our family went there on 12/25/25 . Everything was spot on, The Christmas dinners were phenomenal and the wait staff were great, we had prime rib that was like butter, delicious. We travel from long Island for the holiday dinners.
The food was wonderful. The Ruben was really good The bread nice buttery and toasted. One thing I didn't get to take a picture of was their cake selection. So many desserts to choose from. One thing about the Georgia Diner would be to come hungry because they are very generous on the servings
A very comforting, old-timey diner feel. When you go to a diner, you know exactly what you're looking for: comfy booths, tasty smells of food in the air, and a hot beverage. This diner provided all of that. Ordered the Irish Breakfast and a cup of tea. While the service took a significant amount of time, the food was fresh and the home-fries were actually good (not wet at all, browned decently, and great for soaking up egg yolks from sunny side up eggs). The black pudding and the white pudding made great accompaniments to the ham, the eggs, and the tomatoes. While it took some time to get anyone to get the check, overall, the food and atmosphere make for a superb diner experience. Overall: 8.4/10
Always a great experience when going into the Georgia Diner. Monica and the staff are always pleasant. We mostly do take out on Fridays and never have to wait long for service.!!!!
The Georgia Diner is absolutely fantastic!!! the food is always fresh, flavorful, and served with a smile. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making every visit feel like coming home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A very nice place for breakfast, the food is delicious, the coffee is top-notch (I love the free refills!), the pancakes are amazing, and our waiter Jay is super friendly and welcoming, with great energy and excellent service. He's served us several times and is always charismatic and has a positive attitude. 10/10 the prices are very affordable.
I've been a regular at Georgia Diner for years, ever since they moved to their new location. I've come in a few times, but not as often as I'd like because of my busy schedule. Now that I have more free time, I come in with my family more often. We absolute adore John 🤗, the manager. He greets us with such professionalism and a warm smile, and Komal, who works at the front booth, is always there to greet us with a beautiful smile 😊and a sense of humor. Jas, our waiter, is also great. He greets us with his signature smile☺️ and professionalism, 👌which makes our meals even more enjoyable😋 We love the food, the deserts, and everything else at Georgia Diner. When we plan to visit, we can't wait to see these lovely folks again.😉
Being mobility disabled, the challenge of preparing a Thanksgiving dinner got a little overwhelming this year. My daughter in Georgia phoned the diner, and they agreed to prepare a dinner for me from their holiday menu. My best friend delivered my food, and we were drooling over the scents of the amazing, lovely food. I could NOT resist a tiny taste test of everything.....the turkey and gravy were perfect, the mashed potatoes and baby carrots were seasoned to deliciousness, the spinach pie was exemplary, and I need handcuffs to stay away from the chocolate layer cake. I can not thank the manager and staff enough for their kindness in preparing this feast a day ahead of schedule for me. I was warmly invited to come to the diner in person with my wheelchair, they have accessible ramps and assured me of every assistance. For fantastic quality ingredients, expert cooking and a warm, caring atmosphere, please support the Georgia Diner, the best in the area.
Dining at Georgia Diner was an absolute dream! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was perfect—warm and inviting. The food was exceptional!!! Our server was fantastic, offering great recommendations and making our dinner incredibly special.
Just had another great meal at Georgia Diner in Queens! The food was delicious and portions are huge ,everything came out fresh and hot. The place has that real diner vibe, clean and cozy with plenty of seating. Staff were super nice and quick with service. Definitely one of my go to spots for breakfast or late dinner with the family.
I've been coming to the Georgia Diner since it's original location further down Queens Boulevard. While much has changed, two things have not: the quality and the service. John Cruze, a longtime server there, makes you feel like family. From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave, he makes sure you have everything you could need or want and has an uncanny memory for your usual drink order and preferences. The food is consistently delicious, the prices remain great in value, but the service is what keeps me coming back every time. If you want to feel like family go to the Georgia and ask for John- I promise you that you will not be disappointed.
I can’t say enough good things about the Georgia Diner — the food, the atmosphere, and especially the service. I have been coming here for years and even before they relocated. My friend John Cruze is an absolutely incredible server here, and he’s a big part of what makes dining at this place such a great experience. John is friendly, attentive, and always goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of. You can tell he truly loves what he does. The food is consistently delicious — hearty portions, great flavors, and always served fresh and hot. The diner itself has that perfect balance of comfort and energy — a place you can come to relax, enjoy a good meal, and feel right at home. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by Georgia Diner and ask for John Cruze — you won’t be disappointed!
We have been going to the Georgia since it first opened at the original location. Whenever we go for dinner we are greeted by name. We usually get Johnny who treats us like family. He knows our order before we even say it! My coffee cup is always fresh too. Good food and special people.
I’ve been going to Georgia Diner since I was a kid from the old location to this current one and it is still one of my favorite spots. The food is consistently great but I want to highlight one of their best: Pedro. He is the definition of an amazing server. Kind, attentive and truly accommodating. Whenever we are lucky enough to get him I already know the meal is going to be smooth. You never have to flag him down because he is always checking in and making sure we are good and he somehow knows exactly what we need before we even ask. When I bring my kids he automatically brings out their food first without me having to say a word. Always smiling, always patient, always going above and beyond. People like him make a difference in the entire dining experience. I also love the space itself. The diner is spacious, clean and comfortable and the booths have plenty of room. The bathrooms are clean, the atmosphere is relaxed and the parking is easy. It is a place you can enjoy without feeling crowded or rushed. Georgia Diner has great food but having someone like Pedro makes it ten times better. He deserves a big shout out and a ton of credit. Thank you Pedro. You make it a pleasure to eat here every single time.
Man, I really miss the old spot—but this location totally hits the same! I went for the first time recently, and the experience was just as great. Even though it was busy (Sunday at 11:45AM with a party of 6), we were seated quickly. The hostess was super sweet, and what seemed to be the manager was just as lovely. Some of us went for breakfast—the waffles & over-easy eggs were perfect. Great flavor, fresh, and cooked just right. My brother (a fancy foodie) got the buffalo chicken wrap and said it was amazing. My husband had the Reuben and he too was impressed. So glad I made it back—can’t wait to return again soon. Honestly, I’d go back just for the waffles!
This is a comfortable dining spot. Good atmosphere, good lighting. I visited twice recently after I hadn't been there for awhile, since they first relocated to their current location. I ordered the Cheeseburger deluxe, which was great and it comes with steak fries. Steak fries are the best, very classic but believe it or not, not everyone has tried steak fries. I dined in and ordered an iced coffee as well. On the second visit I stopped by to get something to go, I selected a brownie and a chocolate mouse cake. They were both good and better than store bought of course.
I’ve been coming to Georgia Diner since I was a kid, and it still feels like home every time I walk in. The staff always greets you with a smile, the service is consistent, and the food hits every single time. It’s one of those rare places where the quality hasn’t changed if anything, it’s only gotten better. No matter how much changes in the neighborhood, Georgia Diner remains a comforting constant. A true gem in Queens. OH LAWD!
A food companion suggested we check out Georgia Diner since it was nearby our destination. I ordered the corned beef hash with two sunny side up eggs as it is my bench mark meal to order at a diner I have never been to. As suspected, it was prepared in the typical diner way and satisfied my morning hunger. The coffee was solid too, as you really can’t go wrong with diner coffee. What unexpectedly stole the show was the doily under the coffee cup. Easily the nicest, highest quality doily I’ve ever seen. It was such a small touch, but it really stood out. The ambiance was casual and relaxed, and the service was friendly and efficient. If you’re in the area and looking for a dependable, no-frills diner, Georgia Diner delivers.
Always love discovering a new diner and in this case it’s a new diner that is over 40 years of histroy slinging out everything from breakfast, staples to innovative, high-end dinner, dishes, and everything in between. Tried their famous breakfast on a weekday and was not disappointed. Everything from the Benedict to the breakfast burger, and even the freshness of the coffee in that old-school diner vibe was perfect
***Don’t miss this hidden gem***. This was an insider tip by an uncle that has lived in queens all his life. The service was exceptional, there is something absolutely endearing about the homely atmosphere and the friendly service. The food was freshly made, nothing seemed coming from a plastic bag. They have a large menu, I went for the Reuben sandwich and it did not disappoint.
Pretty nice diner off Queens Boulevard. Large parking area. Seated immediately by a well dressed fellow at a long booth. Coffee was hot and fresh and the cup was bottomless. Food was plentiful and delicious. Menu has two columns of prices, one for cash and one for credit cards. Good idea. ♿️.

First thing I had after getting off a plane and it hit the spot! coffee was basic but delicious! Classic diner vibes.
Stopped in on a random Friday night, and am so happy we did! Burgers, fries & onion rings were great, milkshakes even better! Service was excellent & the place was very clean. We'll be back!

Worth it, large meals, easy parking in their parking lot, coffee refills , fresh food!!!

Open 24 hours on weekend so this is definitely a great place to grab a meal in the middle of the night after extracurricular activities. The prices are great and the service is awesome. It was a big group of us and the food came out quick and delicious. Definitely has potential to be regularly nightly quick meal.
Standard, very typical American cuisine. The menu is a huge list. When i got my order, it is just like any other i have tried when I thought it would be different - panini pesto chicken. The bread is just a regular bread. They put pesto and olive oil and that's it! It was a big surprise - surprisingly common.
Hamburger was good. Waiter was a little busy. Lighting was good for a diner.
The ambiance and crowd changed after COVID, it used to be more buzzing and rowdy on a Friday...Food still as good as it was 40 years ago when I first start coming here with friends that live in Elmhurst and Jackson Heights
Georgia Diner is a great family-friendly spot, always busy on Sundays. I usually go for breakfast, but their dinner is great too. The service is warm and hospitable, and the atmosphere is really nice. Definitely try the strawberry cheesecake, it’s fresh, creamy, and absolutely delicious!
Layout/atmosphere *Georgia peach sign/logo out front/on top; large space; counter/bakery display in front; booths to left; tables/booths to right; parking lot Service *Solid Food/drink *Athenian Omelette (Spinach & Feta Cheese) with home fries - good *Corn Muffin (toasted) with butter & jelly - good
Food is delicious. Portions are respectable. Staff is courteous. (Although, depending on your server, you may have to negotiate free refills on soft drinks.) Location is reasonably maintained. Wait times increase exponentially on weekend mornings/afternoons. Parking is limited during these times as well. Open 24 hours.
Short ribs were good, calimari cooked well but stale, new England clam chowder quite salty. Nice parking lot in back. Entrance to lot difficult to see.
Great local diner. Interior seating are was great and very neat & tidy. Bathrooms are dated and could use a rehab. Food and service was great. Wait staff very friendly. Big signs on the front door indicating that Covid vaccination proof before entry was required but when you enter there is no check for any Covid vaccination.
So my husband took me out for dinner because I was having a hard day. We had heard about a lobster special and shellfish is my jam! We waited a while for a server to greet us, and when he did he quickly took our order and ran away. Although he did come back to ask if I wanted my lobster steamed or stuffed. I chose stuffed and I swear that crab stuffing was phenomenal. My main issue was the lack of follow up. We had to flag down a busser for water refills, everything was salty like I like but water is a necessity. Then after we were done eating (and looking for him for 20 min) my husband caught our waiters attention to ask for the check and he acknowledged then went into the kitchen for about 15 minutes. He just seemed to have checked out. Also, don’t order the chili, it was weirdly sweet and gave us horrible gas pains.
Been going to Georgia for years, pictured is the chef's salad. There doesn't appear to be a budget lunch special anymore, though all the items are still in the main menu. There is a daily special from noon till 10PM, though this contains a selection of dinner entrees, which comes with a soup or salad. The pictured menu was for Wednesday, when I visited. A coffee is $3.25
This diner stands out because the decor/atmosphere and the great service. First time was on a busy Saturday morning for brunch. Once I entered I felt transported to a different time. It almost feels like I walked into a movie set. It’s just feels like how a diner should feel. Waiter Jas seemed to be working several tables by himself but was very respectful and didn’t rush us at all. Extremely professional. 10/10. I ordered the chef’s omelette which was mediocre (3.5/5) - my boyfriend said his pancakes, sausage and eggs were good. Steer clear of the corned beef hash unless you like oily mushes. Would return.
Food is good, atmosphere is nice very old school which I like. I had a cheese burger and coffee was good
Georgia Diner has the best chicken salad I’ve ever tasted! Yes, the wait can be long at times, but the service is usually good. Take my word for it—try the chicken salad bowl. The portion is generous and it tastes really fresh. On a few occasions the chicken wasn’t cooked as perfectly as it was on previous visits. There is also a mall in the area and that area can get pretty busy.

I have to say one thing that menu is impressive there is absolutely anything for anyone in there from breakfast to stake and seafood. I had and over all good time the service was great and the desert was wondering but the dish I had was a little watery but even then had great flavor to it and would still order again if I came back.
Georgia's Diner has been a neighborhood staple for years, offering a nostalgic charm that keeps people coming back. It used to be the go-to spot for a late-night bite, especially if you were craving a simple sandwich. While the food is not exactly gourmet, it's decent and satisfying, and the menu is impressively large, covering everything from sandwiches and pasta to breakfast classics. You can find just about anything you're in the mood for. Overall, it's a nostalgic experience, but don't expect a culinary masterpiece--just familiar, comforting diner fare.
Like going here during a weerkday evening...after work to grab dinner. The food was good -the staff is always super friendly and accommodating. I like that it's a big place so you don't have to sit too close to others (partitions between booths) or even wait long for a table. Update: Also, a great place to go for a quick late meal / snack on a Saturday night. Large diner plenty of seating and they're super accommodating for picky eaters.
The three stars is really because of The lack of hospitality. Our waiter was not attentive, had two separate staff bring what we needed 1.the Bus boy brought us toast and 2.another waiter had to bring my refill apple juice. He didn’t even bother to give us eye contact or access but walked past us 4-5 times not once did he ask Is everything OK? Instead he yell To us “did we get everything “ The lady at the cashier desk was apologetic and gave us cookies for the poor service
This a old school establishment I have been going to forever. I normally have breakfast there no matter what time of day I go. The burgers and the breakfast have never failed me. They got my order wrong and were very cool about correcting the order a neighborhood classic
not a bad place with its own Parking, which is good. The prices are moderate, somehow everything is very sad and dull inside. Sad and tired waiters in dirty suits. Replace both waiters and costumes. And at the same time, the dishes, which have already gone for the second decade, feel like. There were remnants of water on the spoon. Why they don't listen in the dryer before serving it to customers is a big question. I rate the institution by 4 points
It’s a typical queens diner. Same extensive menu as other diners in the area. Reliable for a quick sit down bite when you’re running around and just want a break. They REALLY like preparing coffee drinks so definitely experience that if you’re there.
I wish there was a 3.5 rating available. As a veteran of MANY diners, this one was unremarkable. That does not mean bad, but not acceptional in any way. The good: I went looking for a place to eat that had a parking lot. Georgia Diner has a BIG ONE. This eatery is old and shows it inside and out. As a matter of fact, once I started walking from my car, I had second thoughts about eating there. It looks old and minimally maintained to me. Inside, it is deceptively large. On a diet, I only glanced at the deserts up front. Typical Diner choices. Ordered and pictured was a grilled chicken salad and the Greek gyro without the white sauce. The salad got rave reviews from my friend. The chicken breast was cooked well and juicy. My gyro actually concerned me a little bit. The lettuce and tomatoes looked not spoiled but not the freshest either. The gyro meat had strange light colored circles in it. I know the meat is processed, but I had never seen it look so unappealing before. Whatever it was, it was not bad but not great either. As I looked at other meals being delivered, they all seemed large and well adorned. The service was adequate. Nice enough lady and no gaps in service. The bathroom was not dirty but not fresh. The floor was sticky like the last show at a movie theater. This really turned me off. The two meals were a modest $35, which these you get what you pay for I recon. I certainly would not rush back there myself. Your mileage may vary...
Georgia Diner is a classic diner that serves classic specials and dishes and has the same old-timey diner feel, but quite frankly, doesn’t hold up to the expectations of a good diner. The food was honestly just average, and considering the price, I’m tempted to say that it wasn’t really worth it. I ordered the corned beef hash and eggs, which comes with toast and potatoes, and it was honestly not that great. It was average-tasting hash that you can get from a can, and the potatoes on the side were slightly undercooked. for the price of 18$, it wasn’t that great. The rest of my table’s dishes were just average, but considering the price, it brings the rating down a bit. The service was decent, and our waiter/busboy were attentive enough, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I will complain though, that an 18% tip was automatically added to our bill. Perhaps it was because I had a large party, but that certainly was unexpected as no one and nothing on the menu mentioned that. The atmosphere was decent, having that classic diner feel. the bathrooms weren’t that clean, but there was nothing too bad. On a positive note, there were cookies at the register which really brought me back to other classic diners. One final complaint is that there are two separate prices for cash and credit, with the credit being higher. If you do come, try to bring some cash. overall, Georgia Diner is decent but nothing stands out too much, and my complaints of the pricing, food, and tip put my rating lower. Not the worst diner I’ve been to, but not the best either.

Don’t bother going there on busy days as you will not find a spot in the parking lot
Plenty of free parking. Waiter seemed annoyed & was bit rude immediately. The Chicken & Waffles was very dry & bland. Some of the chicken was so thin the texture was awful. The cuppacino was bland. The restaurant looked nice inside but overall had a weird vibe with the mood of the overall staff. My waiter never even came to check on me until I was done eating. Waste of money.

Food was horrible chicken breast they cook looked disgusting the cake was hard it’s was old. Never again I will go there.
I don’t recommended this place, first the drinks of the machine tested like metal so bad, then the food not good at all I ordered a steak it was so hard and not even has salt on it, also I ordered salmon with vegetables, salmon was ok but the asparagus was very old not good at all!
We went out for breakfast as a family, and unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great. The cup I was served coffee in had a visible lipstick stain, which clearly shows it wasn’t properly washed before being used again. We also noticed that the windows were quite dirty, which gives a poor overall impression of the place. Cleanliness in a food establishment should be a basic priority—both in the utensils and the environment. It’s a shame, because the place has potential, but details like this make it hard to feel comfortable or confident eating there. I truly hope they improve these aspects, because cleanliness is not optional—it’s essential.
When we entered the diner, the manager (an Indian man) told the waiter not to seat us in the front and to place us in the back instead — which felt very unprofessional. The food was also disappointing. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience, and I will not be returning.
Make sure you check all the prices on the menu first! They will charge extra for everything. First, the waitress Silvia was rude. She gave us cold coffee and when we asked why, she said "that's what's in the pot". She didn't even try to fix it. Then we ordered French toast and strawberries, which was already 16 dollars for 2 pieces, and we asked for turkey sausage, and they charged 8 dollars! 8 dollars I've never seen that. For 3 little pieces of sausage. And an extra 4 dollars for the turkey bacon my mom asked for with her order. We proceeded to speak to the manager, and he did not even care. When my father went to speak to him about the other extra charge after, he dismissed him and said he had already spoken to the lady (me) and didn't even hear him out came back to our table took the bill angrily and took off the Turkey sausage. If you don't care about your customers, why work in a restaurant. Disgusting service. Our first time there and we won't be back! The diner wasn't even busy and 3:30 pm.
Came here since we were close by and wanted breakfast. First time. Food was decent no complaints there and service was average. What bothered me was at the end when our bill came the waitress added herself a tip without asking on my card. We usually leave cash tips but when she brought back my receipt the tip was already charged. I had my family there so I did not want to argue and left. I’ll be disputing the charges with my bank. Unless stated you don’t auto add tip. The receipt had the name of Kim. She was a blonde kinda tall lady.
Negative 5 star, but I am forced to give 1 star and here is why. The service was ok, but the two waiters didn’t refill our cups of water quick enough. We were definitely thirsty. We were happy that they were able to accommodate 22 people but oh my, I do not recommend the Alfredo fettuccine, one guest had chicken and one had shrimp and both said the sauce was not good at all. The Alfredo tasted like expired curd cheese. One guest ordered a burger and didn’t get his beef! How does one mess up an order like that? But they did replace the order quickly. The fries were not good. The kids didn’t even finish when they usually do. One guest had a Cobb salad and also was not impressed. They ended up not taking anything home and left hungry. Very disappointed. Would not recommend.
i was very dissatisfied, 1st, they lost their liquor license, so i had to have my dinner with iced tea instead of a nice glass of wine, and when the check came in, they charged a percentage for using a credit card. New York is one of 5 states that this practice is illegal, the cashier claimed if they post a sign informing the costumers , they can do it, there was no sign anywhere and if it was nobody could see it. Nobody walks around with so much cash to pay for a dinner for two. definitely i shall not be back. The liquor license is lost when you do not pay your bills on time, seems they are trying to get as much cash, so they do not have to close
