This Chipotle receives mixed reviews. While some customers praise the kind employees like Cecilia, Ronin, and Nash, and appreciate the consistent quality, others complain about the restaurant's cleanliness, inconsistent stock, small portions, and poor service, especially during busy times.

I love this chipotle. The employees are very kind and give great customer service. Especially Cecilia!
i have a severe gluten allergy (celiac disease) and i have been to other chipotles so i know they are good with making stuff safe, but this chipotle went above and beyond! one of the employees spent about 5 minutes wiping down the ENTIRE station and replacing the spoons along with gloves. the employees couldn't be nicer and the food was superb. 10/10!!
I got my order done in a collaborative effort from Ronin and Nash they were so sweet and courteous, not to mention the good portions with the quality chipotle always has. I’ll be coming here 6-7 days a week

It’s Chipotle, no frills, consistent, easy and relatively healthy fast food. I make a habit of ordering ahead a couple times a month through their app and picking it up in the drive thru lane 10-15 min later. Never had any issues.

This was the dirtiest Chipotle I’ve ever stepped into. Spilled food in prep area, tables were dirty/not wiped down at all during our entire 30 minute visit, floor looked like it hadn’t been swept all day.

Requested my tacos to be placed on a bowl due to needing a sturdier container while traveling, which is a common request. The server audibly complained that it’s harder to put tacos on the bowl, then proceeded to skimp out on all of my fillings. The attitude I was given would have been fine if I had just gotten close to enough of the food I’d paid for.
Came in during lunch rush at 2:10pm on Saturday 07/20/24. Personally witnessed the “manager” (washing her hands) being extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive to the staff, most which were doing their best, especially the kind young man working the counter (pictured w/ the hat on). He seemed to be the only one working and running around and she was beyond unprofessional bordering cruel and rude to him multiple times despite his best efforts as well as to other guests. This used to be one of my fav quick lunch spots, but I can genuinely say the culture has changed negatively in the last few months quite drastically for the worse, towards the clientele as well. Nevertheless you need to care about your employees/guests enough to treat them with respect and dignity and not put bullies in charge of the team, point blank. Hope it’ll turn around soon! 🤞

I stopped at Chipotle to grab a burrito like I always do. I ordered a beef burrito with rice, cheese, white sauce, and corn. This was the smallest burrito any Chipotle in the entire chain has ever served me. They put in half a spoon of rice. The beef had more fat than meat. And it was cold—not hot or even warm. They added just a pinch of cheese, less than 5 grams. You could literally count the amount of cheese. The corn was okay. And the sauce was okay. When I complained about the size, they just said, “Do you want us to make another one? We won’t charge you extra.” But we all know that every time we ask for extras, we’re charged an absurd amount. Never again. I’m never going back there. The amount of food is not worth the price they charge.
Grandkids and I get Chipotle probably 3x/month every month. Our order is the same every time. Kids quesadilla meal which always comes with a small bag of chips or fruit and a drink. Kids only eat cheese inside their quesadilla. No sides of rice/nor veggies (just a cheese quesadilla). Simple order. Servers rushed us through the line. They Couldn't understand no sides of rice. Cashier refused to give small bag of chips and fruit. And charged us for a fountain drink. Only one person spoke English and she rushed us through. It wasn't even during lunch time. Only one customer behind me but cashier helper wouldn't help fix the incorrect food and overcharge. This was our first time at this location. We won't be back.
The food was okay and the portions were standard not expecting anything more. However, the service was disappointing. There was no line, yet I had to wait for someone to help me. The person who attended to me seems to have hate and had a poor attitude, which ruined the experience. It wasn’t busy, and my order was simple, so there was no reason for the service to be that bad. I asked for a bag of chips, but wasn’t even given the option to choose a size. I didn’t bother asking further because it felt like the employee didn’t want to be there. Overall, it was not a great experience and made me reconsider ever coming back to this Chipotle.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the quality and cleanliness have gone downhill dramatically. During my recent visit, I saw employees handling food right after touching their hair and clothes, which were visibly dirty. The food prep area—including the tortilla warmer and the rocks used for cleaning—looked neglected and unsanitary. It’s very concerning that management is allowing hygiene standards to slip this much. Proper training and cleanliness should be a priority in any food establishment. Unfortunately, after eating there, and other cities like Del Mar, I ended up getting diarrhea. I truly hope they address these issues soon, because this place used to be excellent.
I’m a regular Chipotle customer and this location opened recently. Very convenient as I work close by. Over the last weeks this place is going downhill.. never have all the food in stock, only spoons no forks, no napkins, etc. Today I wanted a bowl to go.. no white rice, no veggies, no tomatoes, no cheese.. None of the lemonades available.. come on! And then the mere is not one table available that’s clean.. all dirty :/ Don’t like to write these kind of reviews but you are going to lose customers doing business like that. As mentioned above this is a regular occurrence over the last weeks :(
I used to love Chipotle, but haven’t had it in a long time, and now I remember why. The quality has gone far downhill, not just at this location, but every store across the board. I ordered for online pickup, and when I got back to my car, I realized that the burrito was not double wrapped (as I was charged), and it was also covered in smeared guac on the outside, making it completely soggy. I went back in, and they happily remade my burrito, but the second one still didn’t taste right. The chicken had several pieces which were completely burned through and inedible. I’m sure they are understaffed, which makes things hard, and I certainly don’t blame the staff working hard to do their best, but clearly there are deep issues in every store that Chipotle needs to work hard to rectify. It’s not the same restaurant as it used to be 5ish years ago.
I go there once or twice a week and get the brisket and it was way too Spicey I even paid more for extra brisket ..so I tried calling to complain but you can't get a live operated so basically I had to throw it away it wasnt edible
The food was decent. The chips were stale, and there piece of avocado shell in one my moms hard shell tacos, the service not good. They were pushy, and had just assumed we wanted to dine in and gave us are food dine in style. didn’t ask us if we wanted to dine in or do takeout. When I told them we wanted to do takeout they got mad and wrapped my moms hard shell tacos like how they would wrap a burrito with tinfoil and were gonna put it in the bag with the burrito. When I questioned them about wrapping it in tinfoil instead of how they usually do it with the bowl and metal lid. Then they said that they “normally wrap the hard shell tacos with one piece of tinfoil like a burrito” and “that they have never put them in the bowls and that it would be weird if they did put it in the bowl”. I have been going to chipotle for a while now and i know that they always put the tacos in a bowl. I would not recommend coming here unless you want avocado shells in your food, stale chips, and rude service.

If you order drive-up be prepared to get stuck in it and wait 10-25 minutes while your order is getting cold. The employees here Do. Not. Care. Then, be served with a bad attitude. The managers here should really be disappointed with how they treat customers here. I love the food but it's not worth being treated so poorly.
You can tell right away they have a toxic environment . They look so stressed specially the old Mexican lady in charge horrible attitude when is rush hour
They are ALWAYS out of multiple items and the place is filthy EVERY time. Had to walk out AGAIN. NEVER go there
This place has really gone downhill since he changed locations. They clearly prioritize the drive-thru orders. We ordered to-go and kid who rang us up literally threw our food in the bag. Ended up eating there because my daughter said she was starving and the place is filthy. Literally looks like no one cleans the place. Food scraps on every table/eating service and all over the floor. Trash piled up on top of every trash can. Really gross. I felt like I was eating in a homeless camp. Food was ok, not as good or fresh as the previous location by Vons. Won’t be returning.
This place is awful. I used to go to the Chipotle on Palomar Airport Rd (which is very good), but I moved from Carlsbad to Encinitas and I have gone to this one three times. They are the worst. The service is a atrocious and each time they served me minimal everything and I had to ask for more of each item. They are super weak on the portions they provide. I really like Chipotle but this place stinks and I won't be returning.

Worst management. 2 little old ladies just chit chat while making customers wait in line. And for chicken bowl they miss adding chicken which is really worst. Never visit this again. Full of arrogant faces. No greetings nothing.
